1Electrochemical Surface Restructuring of Phosphorus-Doped Carbon@MoP Electrocatalysts for Hydrogen Evolution显示文摘The hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) through electrocatalysis is promising for the production of clean hydrogen fuel. However,designing the structure of catalysts,controlling their electronic properties,and manipulating their catalytic sites are a significant challenge in this field. Here,we propose an electrochemical surface restructuring strategy to design synergistically interactive phosphorus-doped carbon@MoP electrocatalysts for the HER. A simple electrochemical cycling method is developed to tune the thickness of the carbon layers that cover on MoP core,which significantly influences HER performance. Experimental investigations and theoretical calculations indicate that the inactive surface carbon layers can be removed through electrochemical cycling,leading to a close bond between the MoP and a few layers of coated graphene. The electronsdonated by the MoP core enhance the adhesion and electronegativity of the carbon layers;the negatively charged carbon layers act as an active surface. The electrochemically induced optimization of the surface/interface electronic structures in the electrocatalysts significantly promotes the HER. 12Cell-cycle dependent nuclear gene delivery enhances the effects of E-cadherin against tumor invasion and metastasis显示文摘Gene delivery is the process by which foreign DNA is transferred to host cells,released from intracellular vesicles,and transported to the nuclei for transcription.This process is frequently inefficient and difficult to control spatiotemporally.We developed a gene delivery strategy that uses ultrasound to directly deliver plasmid DNA into nuclei via gas vesicles(GVs)-based intracellular cavitation.pDNA-binding GVs can be taken up by cells and cause intracellular cavitation when exposed to acoustic irradiation and delivering their pDNA payloads into nuclei.Importantly,GVs can remain stable in the cytoplasm in the absence of acoustic irradiation,allowing for temporally controlled nuclear gene delivery.We were able to achieve spatiotemporal control of E-cadherin nuclear gene delivery in this manner,demonstrating its efficacy in tumor invasion and metastasis inhibition.Interestingly,we discovered that nuclear gene delivery of E-cadherin during the G2/M phase of the cell cycle in C6 tumor cells inhibited tumor invasion and metastasis more effectively than during the G1 and S phases.The gene delivery of E-cadherin at the G2/M phase resulted in significantly lower expression of Fam50a,which reduced Fam50a/Runx2 interaction and led to reduced transactivation of MMP13,an important factor for epithelial-mesenchymal transition,as observed in a molecular mechanism assay.Thus,using remote acoustic control of intracellular cavitation of pDNA-GVs,we developed a high spatiotemporally controllable gene delivery strategy and achieved stronger tumor invasion and metastasis inhibition effects by delivering the E-cadherin gene at the G2/M phase.Liting Xie Jieqiong Wang Liming Song Tianan Jiang Fei Yan 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,6:0
13Intrinsic spin shielding effect in platinum-rare-earth alloy boosts oxygen reduction activity显示文摘Oxygen reduction reactions(ORRs)involve a multistep proton-coupled electron process accompanied by the conversion of the apodictic spin configuration.Understanding the role of spin configurations of metals in the adsorption and desorption of oxygen intermediates during ORRs is critical for the design of efficient ORR catalysts.Herein,a platinum-rare-earth-metal-based alloy catalyst,Pt_(2)Gd,is introduced to reveal the role of spin configurations in the catalytic activity of materials.The catalyst exhibits a unique intrinsic spin reconfiguration because of interactions between the Gd-4f and Pt-5d orbitals.The adsorption and desorption of the oxygen species are optimized by modifying the spin symmetry and electronic structures of the material for increased ORR efficiency.The Pt_(2)Gd alloy exhibits a half-wave potential of 0.95 V and a superior mass activity of 1.5 A·mg Pt^(−1)in a 0.1 M HClO_(4)electrolyte,as well as higher durability than conventional Pt/C catalysts.Theoretical calculations have proven that the spin shielding effect of Gd pairs increases the spin symmetry of Pt-5d orbitals and adsorption preferences toward spin-polarized intermediates to facilitate ORR.This work clarifies the impact of modulating the intrinsic spin state of Pt through the interaction with the local high spin 4f orbital electrons in rare-earth metals,with the aim of boosting the spin-related oxygen reduction reaction,thus fundamentally contributing to the understanding of new descriptors that control ORR activity.Siyuan Zhu Mingzi Sun Bingbao Mei Liting Yang Yuyi Chu Zhaoping Shi Jingsen Bai Xian Wang Zheng Jiang Changpeng Liu Bolong Huang Junjie Ge Wei Xing 2023National Science Review2023,10,9:0

16Assessment of Intracardiac and Extracardiac Deformities in Patients with Various Types of Pulmonary Atresia by Dual-Source Computed Tomography显示文摘Background:Pulmonary atresia(PA)is a group of heterogeneous complex congenital heart disease.Only one study modality might not get a correct diagnosis.This study aims to investigate the diagnostic power of dualsource computed tomography(DSCT)for all intracardiac and extracardiac deformities in patients with PA compared with transthoracic echocardiography(TTE).Materials and Methods:This retrospective study enrolled 79 patients and divided them into three groups according to their main diagnosis.All associated malformations and clinical information,including treatments,were recorded and compared among the three groups.The diagnostic power of DSCT and TTE on all associated malformations were compared.The surgical index(McGoon ratio,pulmonary arterials index(PAI),and total neopulmonary arterial index)and radiation dose were calculated on the basis of DSCT.Results:Of the patients,32,30,and 17 were divided into the groups of PA with ventricular septal defect(VSD),PA with VSD and major aortopulmonary collateral arteries,and PA with other major malformations,respectively.Consequently,182,162,and 13 intracardiac,extracardiac,and other major malformations were diagnosed,respectively.Moreover,DSCT showed a better diagnostic performance in extracardiac deformities(154 vs.117,p<0.001),whereas TTE could diagnose intracardiac deformities better(159 vs.139,p=0.001).The McGoon ratio,PAI,and treatment methods were significantly different among the three groups(p=0.014,p=0.008,and p=0.018,respectively).Conclusion:More than one imaging modality should be used to make a correct diagnosis when clinically suspecting PA.DSCT is superior to TTE in diagnosing extracardiac deformities and could be used to roughly calculate surgical indices to optimize treatment strategy.Wenlei Qian Xinzhu Zhou Ke Shi Li Jiang Xi Liu Liting Shen Zhigang Yang 2023Congenital Heart Disease2023,18,1:0
17IEA: an answerer recommendation approach on stack overflow显示文摘Stack overflow is a web-based service where users can seek information by asking questions and share knowledge by providing answers about software development. Ideally, new questions are assigned to experts and answered within a short time after their submissions. However, the number of new questions is very large on stack overflow, answerers are not easy to find suitable questions timely. Therefore, an answerer recommendation approach is required to assign appropriate questions to answerers. In this paper, we make an empirical study about developers’ activities. Empirical results show that 66.24% of users have more than30% of comment activities. Furthermore, active users in the previous day are likely to be active in the next day. In this paper, we propose an approach IEA which combines user topical interest, topical expertise and activeness to recommend answerers for new questions. We first model user topical interest and expertise based on historical questions and answers. We also build a calculation method of users’ activeness based on historical questions, answers, and comments. We evaluate the performance of IEA on 3428 users containing41950 questions, 64894 answers, and 96960 comments. In comparison with the state-of-the-art approaches of TEM, TTEA and TTEA-ACT, IEA improves n DCG by 2.48%, 3.45% and 3.79%, and improves Pearson rank correlation coefficient by 236.20%, 84.91% and 224.12%, and improves Kendall rank correlation coefficient by 424.18%, 1845.30% and 772.60%.Liting WANG Li ZHANG Jing JIANG 2019Science China(Information Sciences)2019,62,11:0
