| 2 | High speed interpolation for micro-line trajectory and adaptive real-time look-ahead scheme in CNC machining显示文摘CNC machining plays an important role in mechanical manufacturing.A key issue is to improve the machining feedrate while keeping the machining precision and satisfying the acceleration constraints of the CNC machine.For the consecutive micro-line segments interpolation,the velocities at the junction of two segments are the bottlenecks for the machining efficiency.This paper proposes a multi-period turning method to improve the feedrate at the junctions using the linear acceleration and deceleration mode,which utilizes the maximal acceleration capabilities of the NC machine while satisfying the machining precision.A new and more efficient look-ahead method and a feedrate override method are also proposed to boast the global machining speed.The proposed algorithm has been implemented on Blue Sky NC System,and experimented in real material manufacturing.Compared with several existing algorithms,the current algorithm can improve the manufacturing time ranging from 50% to 180%,depending on the machining parameters,and also results in better machining quality.In addition,the algorithm also satisfies the need of real-time interpolation. | ZHANG LiXian SUN RuiYong GAO XiaoShan LI HongBo | 2011 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,6: | 17 |
| 3 | Association of polymorphisms of Nramp1 gene with immune function and production performance of large white pig显示文摘The present research was designed to study the association of polymorphism of natural resistance-associated macrophage protein1 (Nramp1) with some immune function and the production performance in Large White pig. The PCR-RFLP technique was applied to analyze the correlation between the polymorphisms of Nramp1 gene and immune function [value of Polymorphonuclear Leukocytes (PMN) obtained by Nitroblue Tetrazolium (NBT) Reduction and effect of Cytotoxin in Monocyte] and production performance in 165 Large White pigs. The results showed that there was one Nde I restriction locus in Large White pig, and both values of PMN by NBT Reduction and effect of Cytotoxin in Monocyte in genotype BB were higher than those in genotype AB (P<0.05). Simultaneously, the weight of 180-day-old pigs with genotype BB was higher than that with genotype AB (P<0.05). The results indicated that there was a significant correlation between different genotypes of Nramp1 gene and Immune function and production performance, and it can be regarded as a candidate gene of disease resistance. | 5 | Damage Identification in Simply Supported Bridge Based on Rotational-Angle Influence Lines Method显示文摘To locate and quantify local damage in a simply supported bridge, in this study, we derived a rotational-angle influence line equation of a simply supported beam model with local damage. Using the diagram multiplication method, we introduce an analytical formula for a novel damage-identification indicator, namely the diff erence of rotational-angle influence linescurvature(DRAIL-C). If the initial stiff ness of the simply supported beam is known, the analytical formula can be effectively used to determine the extent of damage under certain circumstances. We determined the effectiveness and anti-noise performance of this new damage-identification method using numerical examples of a simply supported beam, a simply supported hollow-slab bridge, and a simply supported truss bridge. The results show that the DRAIL-C is directly proportional to the moving concentrated load and inversely proportional to the distance between the bridge support and the concentrated load and the distance between the damaged truss girder and the angle measuring points. | 6 | Estimation of inbreeding and identification of regions under heavy selection based on runs of homozygosity in a Large White pig population显示文摘Background: Runs of homozygosity(ROHs) are homozygous segments of the genome where the two haplotypes inherited from the parents are identical. The current availability of genotypes for a very large number of single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) is leading to more accurate characterization of ROHs in the whole genome. Here,we investigated the occurrence and distribution of ROHs in 3,692 Large White pigs and compared estimates of inbreeding coefficients calculated based on ROHs(FROH), homozygosity(FHOM), genomic relationship matrix(FGRM)and pedigree(FPED). Furthermore, we identified genomic regions with high ROH frequencies and annotated their candidate genes.Results: In total, 176,182 ROHs were identified from 3,569 animals, and all individuals displayed at least one ROH longer than 1 Mb. The ROHs identified were unevenly distributed on the autosomes. The highest and lowest coverages of Sus scrofa chromosomes(SSC) by ROH were on SSC14 and SSC13, respectively. The highest pairwise correlation among the different inbreeding coefficient estimates was 0.95 between FROH_totaland FHOM, while the lowest was-0.083 between FGRMand FPED. The correlations between FPEDand FROHusing four classes of ROH lengths ranged from 0.18 to 0.37 and increased with increasing ROH length, except for ROH > 10 Mb. Twelve ROH islands were located on four chromosomes(SSC1, 4, 6 and 14). These ROH islands harboured genes associated with reproduction, muscular development, fat deposition and adaptation, such as SIRT1, MYPN, SETDB1 and PSMD4.Conclusion: FROHcan be used to accurately assess individual inbreeding levels compared to other inbreeding coefficient estimators. | 7 | Biological Activity and Antibacterial Property of Nano-structured TiO_2 Coating Incorporated with Cu Prepared by Micro-arc Oxidation显示文摘Micro-arc oxidized Cu-incorporated TiO2 coatings(Cu—TiO2) were prepared in the Ca,P,Cu-containing electrolyte to obtain an implant material with superior biological activity and antibacterial property.The surface topography,phase,and element composition of the TiO2 and Cu—TiO2 coatings were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),and energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometry (EDS),respectively.Staphylococcus aureus(S.aureus) was selected to evaluate the antibacterial property of the Cu—TiO2 coatings,whereas osteoblastic MG63 cells were cultured on the coatings to investigate the biological activity.The obtained results demonstrated that Cu element was successfully incorporated into the porous nano-structured TiO2 coatings,which did not alter apparently the surface topography and phase composition of the coatings as compared to the Cu-free TiO2 coatings.Moreover,the antibacterial studies suggested that the Cu-incorporated TiO2 coatings could significantly inhibit the adhesion of S.aureus.In addition,the in vitro biological evaluation displayed that the adhesion,proliferation and differentiation of MG63 cells on the Cu-incorporated coatings were enhanced as compared to those on the Cu-free coatings and Ti plates.In conclusion,the innovative Cu-incorporated nano-structured TiO2 coatings on Ti substrate with excellent antibacterial property and biological activity are promising candidates for orthopedic implant. | Wei Zhu Zhenxiang Zhang Beibei Gu Junying Sun Lixian Zhu | 2013 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2013,29,3: | 8 |

The as-obtained ZnO nanorods have been characterized by XRD,TEM,HRTEM,SAED,XPS,EDXA,PL and UV-vis absorption spectra. The rod diameters of the nanostructures can be controlled by tuning the amount of sodium hydroxide in the synthesis. Photoluminescence results show that the nanos-tructural ZnO exhibits better optical properties than bulk ZnO does and interestingly,the smaller the rod diameters are,the better optical property 1D nanostructural ZnO exhibits. In this review, we focus on recent developments of optical fluorescence imaging(OFI) probe integration with other imaging modalities such as X-ray computed tomography(CT), magnetic resonance imaging(MRI), positron emission tomography(PET), single-photon emission computed tomography(SPECT), and photoacoustic imaging(PAI). The imaging technologies are briefly described in order to introduce the strengths and limitations of each techniques and the need for further multimodality optical imaging probe development. The emphasis of this account is placed on how design strategies are currently implemented to afford physicochemically and biologically compatible multimodality optical fluorescence imaging probes. | 11 | Synthesis, structure and photocatalysis properties of two 3D Isostructural Ln (Ⅲ)-MOFs based 2,6-Pyridinedicarboxylic acid显示文摘Two new 3 D metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) named [Pr_2(PDA)3-3 H_2 O]-H_2 O(1) and[Nd_2(PDA)3-3 H_2 O] H_2 O(_2) [2,6-Pyridinedicarboxylic acid(H2 PDA)] were synthesized by solvothermal method. They were characterized by elemental analyses(EA), infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), thermogravimetric analysis(TG), photocatalysis performance and single crystal X-ray diffraction studies(XRD).The XRD analysis indicated that MOFs(1) and(2) both belong to the monoclinic system with space group P2(1)/C. The structural model were drawn by the diamond software, and the structure revel that MOFs(1) and(2) adopt three-dimensional(3 D) frameworks constructed by cross-linking of one-dimensional(1 D) infinite chain secondary building unit(SBU) by 2,6-Pyridinedicarboxylic acid and hydrogen bond as linker. These frameworks feature channels inside which coordinated H_20 solvent molecules are located. Thermogravimetric analysis showed that both MOFs are thermally stable, the photocatalytic evaluation showed the materials have a good prospect in degration methylene blue. | 12 | A comparative study of the characteristics of two Coxsackie A virus type 16 strains (genotype B)显示文摘Coxsackie A virus is one of the major pathogens associated with hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD). The etiological characteristics of Coxsackie A virus type 16 (CA16) are thought to correlate with the pathological process of its infection. Two CA16 strains that were isolated from a severe HFMD patient presented with different plaque forms. This observation, along with biological analysis, indicated that the differences in the strains' biological characteristics, such as proliferation kinetics and immunogenicity, correlate with differences in their pathogenicity toward neonatal mice. Furthermore, these differences are thought to be associated with the sequence of the 5′ non-coding region of the viral genome and the VP1 structural region sequence. | 13 | Experimental optimization of phase noise performance of optoelectronic oscillator based on directly modulated laser显示文摘The experimental optimization of a 10 GHz optoelectronic oscillator (OEO) based on a 1.55 μm directly modulated distributed feedback (DFB) laser is demonstrated in this paper. The phase noise of the directly modulated laser (DML) based OEO is significantly reduced by proper selection of the laser's bias current and by using a dispersion shifted fiber as a delay line. The phase noise performance of the DML OEO achieved after optimization is close to that of a conventional OEO constructed using a commercial DFB laser and a LiNbO 3 Mach-Zehnder modulator. | 14 | Genome-wide identification of RNA editing in seven porcine tissues by matched DNA and RNA high-throughput sequencing显示文摘Background: RNA editing is a co/posttranscriptional modification mechanism that increases the diversity of transcripts, with potential functional consequences. The advent of next-generation sequencing technologies has enabled the identification of RNA edits at unprecedented throughput and resolution. However, our knowledge of RNA editing in swine is still limited.Results: Here, we utilized RES-Scanner to identify RNA editing sites in the brain, subcutaneous fat, heart, liver,muscle, lung and ovary in three 180-day-old Large White gilts based on matched strand-specific RNA sequencing and whole-genome resequencing datasets. In total, we identified 74863 editing sites, and 92.1% of these sites caused adenosine-to-guanosine(A-to-G) conversion. Most A-to-G sites were located in noncoding regions and generally had low editing levels. In total, 151 A-to-G sites were detected in coding regions(CDS), including 94 sites that could lead to nonsynonymous amino acid changes. We provide further evidence supporting a previous observation that pig transcriptomes are highly editable at PRE-1 elements. The number of A-to-G editing sites ranged from 4155(muscle) to 25001(brain) across the seven tissues. The expression levels of the ADAR enzymes could explain some but not all of this variation across tissues. The functional analysis of the genes with tissuespecific editing sites in each tissue revealed that RNA editing might play important roles in tissue function.Specifically, more pathways showed significant enrichment in the fat and liver than in other tissues, while no pathway was enriched in the muscle.Conclusions: This study identified a total of 74863 nonredundant RNA editing sites in seven tissues and revealed the potential importance of RNA editing in tissue function. | 16 | Sliding mode H_∞ control for a class of uncertain nonlinear state-delayed systems显示文摘A new proportional-integral (PI) sliding surface is designed for a class of uncertain nonlinear state-delayed systems. Based on this, an adaptive sliding mode controller (ASMC) is synthesized, which guarantees the occurrence of sliding mode even when the system is undergoing parameter uncertainties and external disturbance. The resulting sliding mode has the same order as the original system, so that it becomes easy to solve the H_∞ control problem by designing a memoryless H_∞ state feedback controller. A delay-dependent sufficient condition is proposed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which guarantees the sliding mode robust asymptotically stable and has a noise attenuation level γ in an H_∞ sense. The admissible state feedback controller can be found by solving a sequential minimization problem subject to LMI constraints by applying the cone complementary linearization method. This design scheme combines the strong robustness of the sliding mode control with the H_∞ norm performance. | 17 | Fabrication and characterization of novel meso-porous carbon/n-octadecane as form-stable phase change materials for enhancement of phase-change behavior显示文摘In this study, series of novel composite phase change materials(PCMs) were prepared through vacuum impregnation by using meso-porous carbon as a supporting matrix and n-octadcane as PCMs.The meso-porous carbon material was prepared through one-pot co-assembly method, using resorcinol and formaldehyde as carbon precursor, tetraethoxysilane as silica sources and triblock copolymer F127 as a template. And the phase behaviors of n-octadcane confined in the nano-porous structure of the meso-porous carbon were further investigated. Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy spectra show that n-octadecane was effectively encapsulated in the porous structure of mesoporous carbon and the composite PCMs were successfully prepared. Differential scanning calorimetry results confirm that the composite PCMs possess a good phase change behavior, fast thermal-response rate and excellent thermal cycling stability. In addition, the composite PCMs possess expected heat storage and heat release properties. | 18 | Design of near-α Ti alloys via a cluster formula approach and their high-temperature oxidation resistance显示文摘The multi-component composition characteristics of high-temperature near-α Ti alloys were investigated in the present work by means of a cluster formula approach. The uniform cluster formula [CN12 cluster](glue atom)3 for the hexagonal close-packed α solid solution was first obtained based on the Friedel oscillation theory, with a total atom number in the formula of Z = 16. Then it was analyzed that the Z values in the cluster composition formulas of typical near-α Ti alloys are within the range of Z = 16.0016.30, being perfectly consistent with the ideal Z = 16. Based on it, a series of new alloys with Z = 16 and with Nb/Ta substitution for Mo in Ti1100 alloy were designed, suction-cast into φ 6 mm rods, and then heat-treated with solid solution and aging. It was found that the alloy with co-addition of Mo, Ta and Nb has a high strength and good ductility at both room and high temperatures. More importantly, the additions of Nb and Ta can contribute to the formation of continuous and compact Al2O3 scales, resulting in an obvious improvement of oxidation resistances at both 923 K and 1073 K. | 19 | LOCAL FLEXIBILITY BEHAVIOR OF TUBULAR JOINTS AND ITS EFFECT ON GLOBAL ANALYSIS OF TUBULAR STRUCTURES显示文摘In the tubular frames with simple joints, the joints may show considerable local flexibility, which causes excessive deformation and affects internal force distributions. It is useful and important to study turbular joint flexibility as well as the effect of joint local flexibility on the global behavior of tubular structure for the design and building of offshore platforms. A new method for computing the stiffness coefficients of simple tubular joints is developed in this paper based on two previous computing models. According to this method, the local flexibility of T, Y, TY tubular joints are computed. This method has merits of clear physical sense, simplicity of computations and less c. p. u. time. The effect of flexibility of tubular joints on the global behavior of framed tubular structures is investigated by comparing the computed results of tubular structures with flexible tubular joints with those with rigid connections. | 20 | Spacing graphene and Ni-Co layered double hydroxides with polypyrrole for high-performance supercapacitors显示文摘The urgent need of high-performance of energy storage devices triggers us to design newly class of materials.Generally,the materials feature with high conductivity,abundant pore s and excellent stability.Here,a sandwiched hybrid composite containing reduced graphene oxide,polypyrrole and Ni-Co layered double hydroxides(RGO/PPy/NiCo-LDH) was prepared in a facile way.The polypyrrole was incorporated in the two dimensional(2D) nanosheets,which not only serve as the spacer to increase the surface area,but also enhance the conductivity of the nanocomposite.The obtained architecture was employed as an advanced electrode in a supercapacitor.The electrode shows an ultrahigh specific capacitance(2534 F g^-1 at 1 A g^-1) and good cycling efficiency(78 % after 5000 cycles).Moreover,an asymmetric cell based RGO/PPy/NiCo-LDH composite demonstrates excellent electrochemical properties and good prospect of practical use. | Jing Liang Cuili Xiang Yongjin Zou Xuebu Hu Hailiang Chu Shujun Qiu Fen Xu Lixian Sun | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,52,20: | 3 |
