| 1 | 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). | 4 | PARylation regulates stress granule dynamics, phase separation, and neurotoxicity of disease-related RNA-binding proteins显示文摘Mutations in RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) localized in ribonucleoprotein (RNP) granules, such as hnRNP A1 and TDP-43, promote aberrant protein aggregation, which is a pathological hallmark of various neurodegenerative diseases, such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Protein posttranslational modifications (PTMs) are known to 佗gulate RNP granules. In this study, we investigate the function of poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation (PARylation), an important PTM involved in DNA damage repair and cell death, in RNP granule-related neurodegeneration. We reveal that PARylation levels are a major regulator of the assembly-disassembly dynamics of RNP granules containing disease-related RBPs, hnRNP A1 and TDP-43. We find that hnRNP A1 can both be PARylated and bind to PARylated proteins or poly(ADP-ribose)(PAR). We further uncover that PARylation of hnRNP A1 at K298 controls its nucleocytoplasmic transport, whereas PAR-binding via the PAR-binding motif (PBM) of hnRNP Al regulates its association with stress granules. Moreover, we reveal that PAR not only dramatically enhances the liquid-liquid phase separation of hnRNP A1, but also promotes the co-phase separation of hnRNP A1 and TDP-43 in vitro and their interaction in vivo. Finally, both genetic and pharmacological inhibition of PARP mitigates hnRNP Al- and TDP-43-mediated neurotoxicity in cell and Drosophila models of ALS. In this review, we summarize the most recent advances in luminescent lanthanide complexes and their applications from 2015 to August 2017 concerning of general concepts to potential applications. We first introduce the basic concept of sensitized luminescence of lanthanide complexes and the strategies used for highly luminescent complexes. Then recent varieties of luminescent lanthanide complexes and their hybrid materials are presented. | 8 | A Scenario-Based Evaluation of COVID-19-Related Essential Clinical Resource Demands in China显示文摘The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic is a global crisis,and medical systems in many countries are overwhelmed with supply shortages and increasing demands to treat patients due to the surge in cases and severe illnesses.This study aimed to assess COVID-19-related essential clinical resource demands in China,based on different scenarios involving COVID-19 spreads and interventions.We used a susceptible–exposed–infectious–hospitalized/isolated–removed(SEIHR)transmission dynamics model to estimate the number of COVID-19 infections and hospitalizations with corresponding essential healthcare resources needed.We found that,under strict non-pharmaceutical interventions(NPIs)or mass vaccination of the population,China would be able to contain community transmission and local outbreaks rapidly.However,under scenarios involving a low intensity of implemented NPIs and a small proportion of the population vaccinated,the use of a peacetime–wartime transition model would be needed for medical source stockpiles and preparations to ensure a normal functioning healthcare system.The implementation of COVID-19 vaccines and NPIs in different periods can influence the transmission of COVID-19 and subsequently affect the demand for clinical diagnosis and treatment.An increased proportion of asymptomatic infections in simulations will not reduce the demand for medical resources;however,attention must be paid to the increasing difficulty in containing COVID-19 transmission due to asymptomatic cases.This study provides evidence for emergency preparations and the adjustment of prevention and control strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic.It also provides guidance for essential healthcare investment and resource allocation. | Ting Zhang Qing Wang Zhiwei Leng Yuan Yang Jin Yang Fangyuan Chen Mengmeng Jia Xingxing Zhang Weiran Qi Yunshao Xu Siya Chen Peixi Dai Libing Ma Luzhao Feng Weizhong Yang | 2021 | Engineering2021,7,7: | 7 |

| 10 | Desulfurization kinetics of ZnO sorbent loaded on semi-coke support for hot coal gas显示文摘Zn-based sorbent (Z20SC) prepared through semi-coke support in 20 wt% zinc nitrate solution by high-pressure impregnation presents an excellent desulfurization capacity in hot coal gas,in which H2 S can not be nearly detected in the outlet gas before 20 h breakthrough time.The effects of the main operational conditions and the particle size of Z20SC sorbent on its desulfurization performances sorbent were investigated in a fixed-bed reactor and the desulfurization kinetics of Z20SC sorbent removing H2 S from hot coal gas was calculated based on experimental data.Results showed that the conversion of Z20SC sorbent desulfurization reaction increased with the decrease of the particle size of the sorbent and the increases of gas volumetric flow rate,reaction temperature and H 2 S content in inlet gas.Z20SC sorbent obtained from hydrothermal synthesis by high-pressure impregnation possessed much larger surface area and pore volume than semi-coke support,and they were significantly reduced after the desulfurization reaction.The equivalent grain model was reasonably used to analyze experimental data,in which k s=4.382×10-3 exp(-8.270×103/RgT) and Dep=1.262×10-4exp(1.522×104/RgT).It suggests that the desulfurization reaction of the Z20SC sorbent is mainly controlled by the chemical reaction in the initial stage and later by the diffusion through the reacted sorbent layer. | Zhiwei Ma Xianrong Zheng Liping Chang Ruiyuan He Weiren Bao | 2012 | Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2012,21,5: | 7 |
| 11 | Complete three-dimensional coseismic displacements due to the 2021 Maduo earthquake in Qinghai Province,China from Sentinel-1 and ALOS-2 SAR images显示文摘On 22 nd May 2021(local time),an earthquake of M_(s)7.4 struck Maduo county in Qinghai Province,China.This was the largest earthquake in China since the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake.In this study,ascending/descending Sentinel-1 and advanced land observation satellite-2(ALOS-2)synthetic aperture radar(SAR)images were used to derive the three-dimensional(3-D)coseismic displacements of this earthquake.We used the differential interferometric SAR(In SAR,DIn SAR),pixel offset-tracking(POT),multiple aperture In SAR(MAI),and burst overlap interferometry(BOI)methods to derive the displacement observations along the line-of-sight(LOS)and azimuth directions.To accurately mitigate the effect of ionospheric delay on the ALOS-2 DIn SAR observations,a polynomial fitting method was proposed to optimize range-spectrum-split-derived ionospheric phases.In addition,the 3-D displacement field was obtained by a strain model and variance component estimation(SM-VCE)method based on the high-quality SAR displacement observations.Results indicated that a left-lateral fault slip with the largest horizontal displacement of up to 2.4 m dominated this earthquake,and the small-magnitude vertical displacement with an alternating uplift/subsidence pattern along the fault trace was more concentrated in the near-fault regions.Comparison with the global navigation satellite system data indicated that the SM-VCE method can significantly improve the accuracy of the displacements compared to the classical weighted least squares method,and the incorporation of the BOI displacements can substantially benefit the accuracy of north-south displacement.In addition to the displacements,three coseismic strain invariants calculated based on the strain model parameters were also investigated.It was found that the eastern and western parts of the faults suffered more significant strains compared with the epicenter region. | Jihong LIU Jun HU Zhiwei LI Zhangfeng MA Lixin WU Weiping JIANG Guangcai FENG Jianjun ZHU | 2022 | Science China Earth Sciences2022,65,4: | 6 |
| 12 | A 5th order monotonicity-preserving upwind compact difference scheme显示文摘Based on an upwind compact difference scheme and the idea of monotonicity-preserving, a 5th order monotonicity-preserving upwind compact difference scheme (m-UCD5) is proposed. The new difference scheme not only retains the advantage of good resolution of high wave number but also avoids the Gibbs phenomenon of the original upwind compact difference scheme. Compared with the classical 5th order WENO difference scheme, the new difference scheme is simpler and small in diffusion and computation load. By employing the component-wise and characteristic-wise methods, two forms of the new difference scheme are proposed to solve the N-S/Euler equation. | 15 | Convective high-speed flow and field-aligned high-speed flows explored by TC-1显示文摘From June 1, 2004 to October 31, 2006, a total 465 high-speed flow events are observed by the TC-1 satellite in the near-Earth region (?13 RE < x < ?9 RE, |Y |<10 RE, |Z|<5 RE). Based on the angle between the flow and the magnetic field, the high-speed flow events are further divided into two types, that is, field-aligned high-speed flow (FAHF) in the plasma sheet boundary and convective bursty bulk flow (BBF) in the center plasma sheet. Among the total 465 high-speed flow events, there are 371 FAHFs, and 94 BBFs. The CHF are mainly concentrated in the plasma sheet, the intersection angle between the flow and the magnetic field is larger, the magnetic field intensity is relatively weak. The FHF are mainly distributed near the boundary layer of the plasma sheet, the intersection angle between the flow and magnetic field is smaller, and the magnetic field intensity is relatively strong. | 17 | Roles of initial current carrier in the distribution of field-aligned current in 3-D Hall MHD simulations显示文摘A three-dimensional (3-D) Hall MHD simulation is carried out to study the roles of initial current carrier in the topology of magnetic field, the generation and distribu- tion of field aligned currents (FACs), and the appearance of Alfvén waves. Consid- ering the contribution of ions to the initial current, the topology of the obtained magnetic field turns to be more complex. In some cases, it is found that not only the traditional By quadrupole structure but also a reversal By quadrupole structure appears in the simulation box. This can explain the observational features near the diffusion region, which are inconsistent with the Hall MHD theory with the total ini- tial current carried by electrons. Several other interesting features are also emerged. First, motions of electrons and ions are decoupled from each other in the small plasma region (Hall effect region) with a scale less than or comparable with the ion inertial length or ion skin depth di=c/ωp. In the non-Hall effect region, the global magnetic structure is shifted in +y direction under the influence of ions with initial y directional motion. However, in the Hall effect region, magnetic field lines are bent in ?y direction, mainly controlled by the motion of electrons, then By is generated. Second, FACs emerge as a result of the appearance of By. Compared with the prior Hall MHD simulation results, the generated FACs shift in +y direction, and hence the dawn-dusk symmetry is broken. | 18 | Synthesis of polycrystalline γ-AlON powders by novel wet chemical processing显示文摘The synthesis of polycrystalline aluminum oxynitride (AlON) powders was investigated by the carbothermal reduction and nitridation (CRN) of amorphous precursor obtained by wet chemical processing. Co-precipitation processing was employed to achieve amorphous precursor from Al(NO3)3 solution dispersed by nanosized carbon particles, which was composed of Al(OH)3 and C particles homogeneously. The effects of the content of carbon black, pH value, and calcination temperature on formation of AlON phase were investigated by means of XRD, SEM and TEM, respectively. It was found that single phase AlON powder could be synthesized when the resultant precursors were calcined at 1750°C for 2 hours under flowing N2 .
