| 1 | Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Model for Water Resources Carrying Capacity in Tarim River Basin,Xinjiang,China显示文摘This paper explores the method of comprehensive evaluation of water resources carrying capacity and sets up an evaluation model applying the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Based on the data of nature,society,economics and water resources of the Tarim River Basin in 2002,we evaluated the water resources carrying capacity of the basin by means of the model. The results show that the comprehensive grades are 0.438 and 0.454 for Aksu and Kashi prefectures respectively,where the current water resources exploitation and utilization has reached a relative high degree and there is only a very limited water carrying capacity,0.620 for Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture,where water resources carrying capacity is much higher,and in between for Hotan Prefecture and Bayingolin Mongo-lian Autonomous Prefecture. As a whole,the comprehensive grade of the Tarim River Basin is 0.508 and the current water resources exploitation and utilization has reached a relative high degree. | 5 | Regulation of fruit ripening by the brassinosteroid biosynthetic gene SlCYP90B3 via an ethylenedependent pathway in tomato显示文摘The essential role of ethylene in fruit ripening has been thoroughly studied.However,the involvement of brassinosteroids(BRs)in the regulation of fruit ripening and their relationship with the ethylene pathway are poorly understood.In the current study,we found that BRs were actively synthesized during tomato fruit ripening.We then generated transgenic lines overexpressing or silencing SlCYP90B3,which encodes a cytochrome P450 monooxygenase that catalyzes the rate-limiting step of BR synthesis.The expression level of SlCYP90B3 was positively related to the contents of bioactive BRs as well as the ripening process in tomato fruit,including enhanced softening and increased soluble sugar and flavor volatile contents.Both carotenoid accumulation and ethylene production were strongly correlated with the expression level of SlCYP90B3,corroborated by the altered expression of carotenoid biosynthetic genes as well as ethylene pathway genes in transgenic tomato fruits.However,the application of the ethylene perception inhibitor 1-methycyclopropene(1-MCP)abolished the promotion effect of SlCYP90B3 overexpression on carotenoid accumulation.Taken together,these results increase our understanding of the involvement of SlCYP90B3 in bioactive BR biosynthesis as well as fruit ripening in tomato,thus making SlCYP90B3 a target gene for improvement of visual,nutritional and flavor qualities of tomato fruits with no yield penalty. | Songshen Hu Lihong Liu Shuo Li Zhiyong Shao Fanliang Meng Haoran Liu Wenyi Duan Dongyi Liang Changqing Zhu Tao Xu Qiaomei Wang | 2020 | Horticulture Research2020,7,1: | 2 |

| 17 | Analysis of Boundary Layer Structure,Turbulence,and Flux Variations before and after the Passage of a Sea Breeze Front Using Meteorological Tower Data显示文摘A detailed analysis of a sea breeze front(SBF)that penetrated inland in the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei urban agglomeration of China was conducted.We focused on the boundary layer structure,turbulence intensity,and fluxes before and after the SBF passed through two meteorological towers in the urban areas of Tianjin and Beijing,respectively.Significant changes in temperature,humidity,winds,CO_(2),and aerosol concentrations were observed as the SBF passed.Differences in these changes at the two towers mainly resulted from their distances from the ocean,boundary layer conditions,and background turbulences.As the SBF approached,a strong updraft appeared in the boundary layer,carrying near-surface aerosols aloft and forming the SBF head.This was followed by a broad downdraft,which destroyed the near-surface inversion layer and temporarily increased the surface air temperature at night.The feeder flow after the thermodynamic front was characterized by low-level jets horizontally,and downdrafts and occasional updrafts vertically.Turbulence increased significantly during the SBF’s passage,causing an increase in the standard deviation of wind components in speed.The increase in turbulence was more pronounced in a stable boundary layer compared to that in a convective boundary layer.The passage of the SBF generated more mechanical turbulences,as indicated by increased friction velocity and turbulent kinetic energy(TKE).The shear term in the TKE budget equation increased more significantly than the buoyancy term.The atmosphere shifted to a forced convective state after the SBF’s passage,with near isotropic turbulences and uniform mixing and diffusion of aerosols.Sensible heat fluxes(latent heat and CO_(2)fluxes)showed positive(negative)peaks after the SBF’s passage,primarily caused by horizontal and vertical transport of heat(water vapor and CO_(2))during its passage.This study enhances understanding of boundary layer changes,turbulences,and fluxes during the passage of SBFs over urban areas. | Ju LI Junxia DOU Donald H. The impact of some factors, such as the type of contact between K2Ti2O5 and soot, the content of water vapor and SO2 in exhaust, and the repeated use on catalytic activity of K2Ti2O5 were studied by temperature programmed reaction (TPR). A comparison between the new method and the reported ones on catalytic activity of potassium titanate was investigated.
