2Different Expression Analysis in Fruit Softening and Ethylene Biosynthetic Pathways in Peaches of Different Flesh Textures显示文摘The aim of our study was to assess differences in the expression of genes involved in fruit softening and ethylene biosynthetic pathways under different temperature storage conditions. Different peach cultivars of ‘Xiacui' and ‘Yumyeong', which are stonyhard, ‘Yinhualu', which is softmelting, ‘Hujing Milu', which is hard-melting, and ‘Baby Gold 6', which is non-melting at 80% ripening, were collected as test materials. The results showed that only slight ethylene production was detected after harvesting of ‘Yumyeong' and ‘Xiacui' under either a room temperature(25 °C) or low temperature(4 °C). The fruit firmness of stonyhard cultivars was retained at a high level under room temperature over time, whereas a low temperature induced ‘Yumyeong' fruit to soften. Quantitative real-time PCR results indicated that the PpACS1 gene was highly expressed in soft-melting, hard-melting and non-melting cultivars; however, expression was extremely low in stonyhard peaches. PpACS2 or PpACS3, however,was not detected in all five cultivars. Interestingly, cold treatment significantly decreased firmness along with endo-PG expression obviously upregulated in ‘Yumyeong', but not in ‘Xiacui' peaches. 3Reconstruction of a hybrid nucleoside antibiotic gene cluster based on scarless modification of large DNA fragments显示文摘Genetic modification of large DNA fragments(gene clusters) is of great importance in synthetic biology and combinatorial biosynthesis as it facilitates rational design and modification of natural products to increase their value and productivity.In this study,we developed a method for scarless and precise modification of large gene clusters by using RecET/RED-mediated polymerase chain reaction(PCR) targeting combined with Gibson assembly.In this strategy,the biosynthetic genes for peptidyl moieties(HPHT) in the nikkomycin biosynthetic gene cluster were replaced with those for carbamoylpolyoxamic acid(CPOAA)from the polyoxin biosynthetic gene cluster to generate a^40 kb hybrid gene cluster in Escherichia coli with a reusable targeting cassette.The reconstructed cluster was introduced into Streptomyces lividans TK23 for heterologous expression and the expected hybrid antibiotic,polynik A,was obtained and verified.This study provides an efficient strategy for gene cluster reconstruction and modification that could be applied in synthetic biology and combinatory biosynthesis to synthesize novel bioactive metabolites or to improve antibiotic production.Jiming Zhuo Binbin Ma Jingjing Xu Weihong Hu Jihui Zhang Huarong Tan Yuqing Tian 2017Science China(Life Sciences)2017,60,9:6
4Dark matter direct search sensitivity of the PandaX-4T experiment显示文摘The Panda X-4T experiment, a 4-ton scale dark matter direct detection experiment, is being planned at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory. In this paper we present a simulation study of the expected background in this experiment. In a 2.8-ton fiducial mass and the signal region between 1-10 keV electron equivalent energy, the total electron recoil background is found to be 4.9 × 10^(-5) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). The nuclear recoil background in the same region is 2.8 × 10^(-7) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). 6Effect of Bag Removing with Reflective Film Mulching Before Harvest on Fruit Coloration and Expression of Anthocyanin Related Genes in Peach显示文摘Appearance quality is the main element forming the fruit quality. Both bagging and reflective film application can improve appearance comprehensive quality. In order to determine the effects of bagging and reflective film on peach fruit coloration, this study explored the effects of applying reflective film before harvest on fruit appearance quality of peach(Prunus persica), and discussed the influencing mechanism on fruit coloration. Yellow outside and black inside double-layer bags were removed from fruit twelve days d before harvest. Peel color, pigment content, enzyme activity as well as the gene expression related to fruit coloration of a well-colored and late-ripening peach cultivar ‘Xiahui 8' with different treatments(non-bagging with non-reflective film mulching, debagging with non-reflective film mulching, debagging with reflective film mulching) were researched. The results showed that both debagging with non-reflective film mulching and debagging with reflective film mulching could significantly improve red and green color difference value(a*), a*/b*(b* is yellow and blue color difference value), chroma(C), anthocyanin(Ant) content and reduce hue angle(h), while debagging with reflective film mulching had higher Ant content than debagging with non-reflective film mulching(P < 0.05). The two treatments up-regulated the transcript level of anthocyanin biosynthetic related genes(UFGT, CHS) at the beginning of the experiment, however, the expression of DFR, LDOX and F3 H were enhanced along with the testing process. A downward trend on peel phenylalanine ammonia lyase(PAL) activity of non-bagging with non-reflective film mulching was observed during the experiment, however, the peel PAL activity of the other two treatments first increased and then decreased. What's more, peel PAL activity of debagging with reflective film mulching was higher than debagging with non-reflective film mulching. 7利用MODIS分析的白天和夜间尼泊尔地表温度的时空分布(英文)显示文摘地表温度(LST)是评估气候变化,以及最近几十年观测到的气候变化相关环境影响的重要变量。使用卫星传感器,如MODIS,定期监测LST具有全球覆盖的优势,包括了尼泊尔等地形复杂地区。为了评估气候和环境的变化,使用Terra-MODIS月平均日间和夜间LST数据集对尼泊尔境内2000年至2017年的日间和夜间LST趋势进行了季节和年度分析。采用普通线性回归对趋势大小进行量化,并利用改进的Mann-Kendall检验确定趋势的统计学意义。我们的研究结果表明,尼泊尔夜间相比于白天的LST增加得更为显著,并且相比于其他时期,季风前期和季风期的变暖更为明显。夜间LST的年增长率为0.05 K yr-1(p<0.01),而白天LST的变化无统计学意义。白天和夜间LST和LST变化均存在空间异质性。白天的LST在尼泊尔的大部分地区基本没有变化,而夜间的LST上升在季风前期和季风期的尼泊尔各地占主导地位。我们对LST趋势及其空间分布的研究结果有助于更好地了解区域气候变化。LUINTEL Nirajan MA Weiqiang MA Yaoming WANG Binbin SUBBA Sunil 2019Atmospheric and Oceanic Science Letters2019,12,5:3
8One-step synthesis of dimethyl ether from syngas on ordered mesoporous copper incorporated alumina显示文摘Ordered mesoporous copper incorporated Al_2O_3(Cu/Al_2O_3) with high Cu dispersion were prepared by a facile solution combustion synthesis method using aluminum nitrate and copper nitrate as oxidants and urea as fuel. It is a facile and green route to synthesize catalysts for dimethyl ether directly from syngas. Cu/Al_2O_3 catalysts were characterized by XRD, N_2 adsorption–desorption, SEM-EDS, and H_2-TPR.The results indicate that the catalysts obtain an ordered mesoporous structure and copper is homogenously dispersed. The mesoporous Cu/Al_2O_3 catalysts were utilized as bifunctional catalysts in syngas to dimethyl ether reaction(STD). The copper content affects the catalytic performance in STD reaction. The CO conversion and DME selectivity of Cu/Al_2O_3 with 15% copper molar ratio achieve 52.9% and 66.1%,respectively. 10XAFS study of Cu^(2+) in aqueous solution of CuBr_2显示文摘Copper ion is the essential microelement to many organisms. In this paper, the local structure of Cu2+ in CuBr2 aqueous solutions with different concentrations are investigated by using X-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS) technique. XANES (X-ray Absorption Near Edge Structure) spectra indicate that charge transfer from Br- to Cu2+ decreases with the solution concentration, which lead to a shift of the absorption edge. The shoulder appearing at the rising edge proves to be characteristic of a tetragonal distortion. The Fourier transform magnitudes of EXAFS (Extended X-ray absorption fine structure) data of Cu species suggest that more Cu-Br bonds may exist in high concentrations. A fivefold coordination configuration like a pyramid is used as the fitting parameters. From the analysis of the coordination numbers, the proportion of Cu-O and Cu-Br is 4:1 in the saturated solution. The Br atom is on the equatorial plane of the model. 11On the loss mechanisms of radiation belt electron dropouts during the 12 September 2014 geomagnetic storm显示文摘Radiation belt electron dropouts indicate electron flux decay to the background level during geomagnetic storms,which is commonly attributed to the effects of wave-induced pitch angle scattering and magnetopause shadowing.To investigate the loss mechanisms of radiation belt electron dropouts triggered by a solar wind dynamic pressure pulse event on 12 September 2014,we comprehensively analyzed the particle and wave measurements from Van Allen Probes.The dropout event was divided into three periods:before the storm,the initial phase of the storm,and the main phase of the storm.The electron pitch angle distributions(PADs)and electron flux dropouts during the initial and main phases of this storm were investigated,and the evolution of the radial profile of electron phase space density(PSD)and the(μ,K)dependence of electron PSD dropouts(whereμ,K,and L^*are the three adiabatic invariants)were analyzed.The energy-independent decay of electrons at L>4.5 was accompanied by butterfly PADs,suggesting that the magnetopause shadowing process may be the major loss mechanism during the initial phase of the storm at L>4.5.The features of electron dropouts and 90°-peaked PADs were observed only for>1 MeV electrons at L<4,indicating that the wave-induced scattering effect may dominate the electron loss processes at the lower L-shell during the main phase of the storm.Evaluations of the(μ,K)dependence of electron PSD drops and calculations of the minimum electron resonant energies of H+-band electromagnetic ion cyclotron(EMIC)waves support the scenario that the observed PSD drop peaks around L^*=3.9 may be caused mainly by the scattering of EMIC waves,whereas the drop peaks around L^*=4.6 may result from a combination of EMIC wave scattering and outward radial diffusion.Xin Ma Zheng Xiang BinBin Ni Song Fu Xing Cao Man Hua DeYu Guo YingJie Guo XuDong Gu ZeYuan Liu Qi Zhu 2020Earth and Planetary Physics2020,4,6:2
12Triangulation of red sprites observed above a mesoscale convective system in North China显示文摘The triangulation of red sprites was obtained, based on concurrent observations over a mesoscale convective system(MCS) in North China from two stations separated by about 450 km. In addition, broadband sferics from the sprite-producing lightning were measured at five ground stations, making it possible to locate and identify the individual causative lightning discharges for different elements in this dancing sprite event. The results of our analyses indicate that the sprites were produced above the trailing stratiform region of the MCS, and their parent strokes were located mainly in the peripheral area of the stratiform. The lateral offset between sprites and causative strokes ranges from a few km to more than 50 km. 18Asymmetric interfaces and high-TC ferromagnetic phase in La_(0.67)Ca_(0.33)MnO_(3)/SrRuO_(3)superlattices显示文摘Interfacial magnetism in functional oxide heterostructures not only exhibits intriguing physical phenomena but also implies great potential for device applications.In these systems,interfacial structural and electronic reconstructions are essential for improving the stability and tunability of the magnetic properties.In this work,we constructed ultra-thinLa_(0.67)Ca_(0.33)MnO_(3)/SrRuO_(3)(SRO)layers into superlattices,which exhibited a robust ferromagnetic phase.The high Curie temperature(TC)reaches 291 K,more than 30 K higher than that of bulk LCMO.We found that the LCMO/SRO superlattices consisted of atomically-sharp and asymmetric heterointerfaces.Such a unique interface structure can trigger a sizable charge transfer as well as a ferroelectric-like polar distortion.These two interfacial effects cooperatively stabilized the high-T_(C)ferromagnetic phase.Our results could pave a promising approach towards effective control of interfacial magnetism and new designs of oxide-based spintronic devices.Lili Qu Da Lan Liang Si Chao Ma Shasha Wang Liqiang Xu Kexuan Zhang Feng Jin Zixun Zhang Enda Hua Binbin Chen Guanyin Gao Feng Chen Haifeng Du Karsten Held Lingfei Wang Wenbin Wu 2021Nano Research2021,14,10:1
19Driving and tilt-hovering-An agile and manoeuvrable aerial vehicle with tiltable rotors显示文摘Driving and tilt-hovering help unmanned aerial vehicles extend their time of operation and the visible range of the equipped sensors.Standard quadrotors are underactuated,whose translational and rotational motions are strongly coupled.As a result,it is impossible to maintain the attitude invariably while changing position.Meanwhile,larger flying speed results in greater air resistance,which is also not desirable.A novel aerial platform with tiltable rotors is proposed.Compared with standard quadrotors,the aerial vehicle has three special capabilities:vector-flying,tilt-hovering,and driving.The platform consists of two tilting-axes to change the direction of thrusts with respect to the aircraft body.To guarantee flexible manoeuvres,a geometric tracking control scheme that adapts on the fly to the thrust vectoring is exploited.Manoeuvrability of the proposed vehicle in different manoeuvres is demonstrated,such as flight with vectoring thrust that can reduce the flight resistance,tilt-hovering expanding the reachable set of the equipped sensors.The prototype equipped with an electromechanical controller is constructed,and several associated preliminary experiments are performed.The feasibility of the mechanical design and the geometric control strategy are demonstrated.Binbin Li Lei Ma Duo Wang Yongkui Sun 2021IET Cyber-Systems and Robotics2021,3,2:1
20Intrinsic physical relationships between rotor modal shapes and instantaneous vibrational energy flow transmission characteristics:Theoretical and numerical analysis and application显示文摘The modal vibration of the rotor is the main cause of excessive vibration of the aeroengine overall structure.To attenuate the vibration of the rotor under different modal shapes from the perspective of energy control,the intrinsic physical relationships between rotor modal shapes and instantaneous vibrational energy flow transmission characteristics is derived from the general equation of motion base on the structural intensity method.A dual-rotor-support-casing coupling model subjected to the rotor unbalanced forces is established by the finite element method in this paper.The transmission,conversion and balance relationships of the vibrational energy flow for the rotors in the first-order bending modal shape,the conical whirling modal shape and the translational modal shape are analyzed,respectively.The results show that the vibrational energy flow transmitted to the structure can be converted into the strain energy,the kinetic energy and the energy dissipated by the damping of the structure.The vibrational energy flow transmission characteristics of rotors with different modal shapes are quite different.Especially for the first-order bending modal shape,the vibrational energy flow and the strain energy are transmitted and converted to each other in the middle part of the rotor shaft,resulting in large deformation at this part.To attenuate this harmful vibration,the influences of grooving on the shaft on the first-order bending vibration are studied from the perspective of transmission control of vibrational energy flow.This study can provide theoretical references and guidance for the vibration attenuation of the rotors in different modal shapes from a more essential perspective.Yingqun MA Qingjun ZHAO Wei ZHAO Binbin LIU Long HAO 2020Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,12:1
