The enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP显示文摘In this paper we present the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP. eXTP is a space science mission designed to study fundamental physics under extreme conditions of density, gravity and magnetism. The mission aims at determining the equation of state of matter at supra-nuclear density, measuring effects of QED, and understanding the dynamics of matter in strong-field gravity. In addition to investigating fundamental physics, eXTP will be a very powerful observatory for astrophysics that will provide observations of unprecedented quality on a variety of galactic and extragalactic objects. In particular, its wide field monitoring capabilities will be highly instrumental to detect the electro-magnetic counterparts of gravitational wave sources. The paper provides a detailed description of:(1) the technological and technical aspects, and the expected performance of the instruments of the scientific payload;(2) the elements and functions of the mission, from the spacecraft to the ground segment. | ShuangNan Zhang Andrea Santangelo Marco Feroci YuPeng Xu FangJun Lu Yong Chen Hua Feng Shu Zhang Sφren Brandt Margarita Hernanz Luca Baldini Enrico Bozzo Riccardo Campana Alessandra De Rosa YongWei Dong Yuri Evangelista Vladimir Karas Norbert Meidinger Aline Meuris Kirpal Nandra Teng Pan Giovanni Pareschi Piotr Orleanski QiuShi Huang Stephane Schanne Giorgia Sironi Daniele Spiga Jiri Svoboda Gianpiero Tagliaferri Christoph Tenzer Andrea Vacchi Silvia Zane Dave Walton ZhanShan Wang Berend Winter Xin Wu Jean J.M.in't Zand Mahdi Ahangarianabhari Giovanni Ambrosi Filippo Ambrosino Marco Barbera Stefano Basso Jörg Bayer Ronaldo Bellazzini Pierluigi Bellutti Bruna Bertucci Giuseppe Bertuccio Giacomo Borghi XueLei Cao Franck Cadoux Francesco Ceraudo TianXiang Chen Yu Peng Chen Jerome Chevenez Marta Civitani Wei Cui WeiWei Cui Thomas Dauser Ettore Del Monte Sergio Di Cosimo Sebastian Diebold Victor Doroshenko Michal Dovciak YuanYuan Du Lorenzo Ducci QingMei Fan Yannick Favre Fabio Fuschino JoséLuis Ga'lvez Min Gao MingYu Ge Olivier Gevin Marco Grassi QuanYing Gu YuDong Gu DaWei Han Bin Hong Wei Hu Long Ji ShuMei Jia WeiChun Jiang Thomas Kennedy Ingo Kreykenbohm Irfan Kuvvetli Claudio Labanti Luca Latronico Gang Li MaoShun Li Xian Li Wei Li ZhengWei Li Olivier Limousin HongWei Liu XiaoJing Liu Bo Lu Tao Luo Daniele Macera Piero Malcovati Adrian Martindale Malgorzata Michalska Bin Meng Massimo Minuti Alfredo Morbidini Fabio Muleri Stephane Paltani Emanuele Perinati Antonino Picciotto Claudio Piemonte JinLu Qu Alexandre Rachevski Irina Rashevskaya Jerome Rodriguez Thomas Schanz ZhengXiang Shen LiZhi Sheng JiangBo Song LiMing Song Carmelo Sgro Liang Sun Ying Tan Phil Uttley Bo Wang DianLong Wang GuoFeng Wang Juan Wang LangPing Wang YuSa Wang Anna L.Watts XiangYang Wen Jörn Wilms ShaoLin Xiong JiaWei Yang Sheng Yang YanJi Yang Nian Yu WenDa Zhang Gianluigi Zampa Nicola Zampa Andrzej A.Zdziarski AiMei Zhang ChengMo Zhang Fan Zhang Long Zhang Tong Zhang Yi Zhang XiaoLi Zhang ZiLiang Zhang BaoSheng Zhao ShiJie Zheng Yu Peng Zhou Nicola Zorzi J.Frans Zwart | 2019 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2019,62,2: | 11

Nonreciprocal coherent coupling of nanomagnets by exchange spin waves显示文摘Nanomagnets are widely used to store information in non-volatile spintronic devices.Spin waves can transfer information with low-power consumption as their propagations are independent of charge transport. However,to dynamically couple two distant nanomagnets via spin waves remains a major challenge for magnonics. Here we experimentally demonstrate coherent coupling of two distant Co nanowires by fast propagating spin waves in an yttrium iron garnet thin film with sub-50 nm wavelengths.Magnons in two nanomagnets are unidirectionally phase-locked with phase shifts controlled by magnon spin torque and spin-wave propagation. The coupled system is finally formulated by an analytical theory in terms of an effective non-Hermitian Hamiltonian. Our results are attractive for analog neuromorphic computing that requires unidirectional information transmission. | Hanchen Wang Jilei Chen Tao Yu Chuanpu Liu Chenyang Guo Song Liu Ka Shen Hao Jia Tao Liu Jianyu Zhang Marco A.Cabero Z Qiuming Song Sa Tu Mingzhong Wu Xiufeng Han Ke Xia Dapeng Yu Gerrit E.W.Bauer Haiming Yu | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,7: | 1

Survey of autonomous guidance methods for powered planetary landing显示文摘This paper summarizes the autonomous guidance methods(AGMs)for pinpoint soft landing on celestial surfaces. We first review the development of powered descent guidance methods, focusing on their contributions for dealing with constraints and enhancing computational efficiency. With the increasing demand for reusable launchers and more scientific returns from space exploration, pinpoint soft landing has become a basic requirement.Unlike the kilometer-level precision for previous activities, the position accuracy of future planetary landers is within tens of meters of a target respecting all constraints of velocity and attitude, which is a very difficult task and arouses renewed interest in AGMs.This paper states the generalized three-and six-degree-of-freedom optimization problems in the powered descent phase and compares the features of three typical scenarios,i.e.,the lunar,Mars, and Earth landing. On this basis, the paper details the characteristics and adaptability of AGMs by comparing aspects of analytical guidance methods, numerical optimization algorithms, and learning-based methods, and discusses the convexification treatment and solution strategies for non-convex problems.Three key issues related to AGM application, including physical feasibility, model accuracy, and real-time performance, are presented afterward for discussion. Many space organizations, such as those in the United States,China,France,Germany, and Japan, have also developed free-flying demonstrators to carry out related research. The guidance methods which have been tested on these demonstrators are briefly introduced at the end of the paper. | Zheng-yu SONG Cong WANG Stephan THEIL David SEELBINDER Marco SAGLIANO Xin-fu LIU Zhi-jiang SHAO | 2020 | Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering2020,21,5: | 1

Subtle Variations in Surface Properties of Black Silicon Surfaces Influence the Degree of Bactericidal Efficiency显示文摘One of the major challenges faced by the biomedical industry is the development of robust synthetic surfaces that can resist bacterial colonization. Much inspiration has been drawn recently from naturally occurring mechano-bactericidal surfaces such as the wings of cicada(Psaltoda claripennis) and dragonfly(Diplacodes bipunctata) species in fabricating their synthetic analogs. However, the bactericidal activity of nanostructured surfaces is observed in a particular range of parameters reflecting the geometry of nanostructures and surface wettability. Here, several of the nanometer-scale characteristics of black silicon(bSi) surfaces including the density and height of the nanopillars that have the potential to influence the bactericidal efficiency of these nanostructured surfaces have been investigated. The results provide important evidence that minor variations in the nanoarchitecture of substrata can substantially alter their performance as bactericidal surfaces. | Chris M.Bhadra Marco Werner Vladimir A.Baulin Vi Khanh Truong Mohammad Al Kobaisi Song Ha Nguyen Armandas Balcytis Saulius Juodkazis James Y.Wang David E.Mainwaring Russell J.Crawford Elena P.Ivanova | 2018 | Nano-Micro Letters2018,10,2: | 0
Single Mode DR Filters for Wireless Base Stations显示文摘This paper presents state-of-the-art high Q single-mode dielectric resonator (DR) cavity filters for PCS wireless base stations. DR cavity filters shrink the cavity size significantly more than waveguide cavity filters and offer about twice higher Q than coaxial resonators. Thus, they have important applications in wireless base stations operating below 2.5 GHz. Dual-mode and triple-mode DR cavity filters have existed for a while; however, single-mode DR cavity filters are predominant because they are cheaper to manufacture. This paper summarizes the main characteristics of TE01 mode DR cavities, including mode chart and field distribution, and compares cavity Q with waveguide and combline (coaxial) cavities. Dielectric combline and TM010 mode DR cavities are analyzed and compared to TE01 mode DR cavities. General filter design techniques are discussed, and several design examples are given to show how filter technology has developed. | Marco Song George He Tony An | 2011 | ZTE Communications2011,9,2: | 0

Dense matter with eXTP显示文摘In this White Paper we present the potential of the Enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry(eXTP) mission for determining the nature of dense matter; neutron star cores host an extreme density regime which cannot be replicated in a terrestrial laboratory. The tightest statistical constraints on the dense matter equation of state will come from pulse profile modelling of accretion-powered pulsars, burst oscillation sources, and rotation-powered pulsars. Additional constraints will derive from spin measurements, burst spectra, and properties of the accretion flows in the vicinity of the neutron star. Under development by an international Consortium led by the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the eXTP mission is expected to be launched in the mid 2020 s. | Anna L.Watts WenFei Yu Juri Poutanen Shu Zhang Sudip Bhattacharyya Slavko Bogdanov Long Ji Alessandro Patruno Thomas E.Riley Pavel Bakala Altan Baykal Federico Bernardini Ignazio Bombaci Edward Brown Yuri Cavecchi Deepto Chakrabarty Jér?me Chenevez Nathalie Degenaar Melania Del Santo Tiziana Di Salvo Victor Doroshenko Maurizio Falanga Robert D.Ferdman Marco Feroci Angelo F.Gambino MingYu Ge Svenja K.Greif Sebastien Guillot Can Gungor Dieter H.Hartmann Kai Hebeler Alexander Heger Jeroen Homan Rosario Iaria Jean in 't Zand Oleg Kargaltsev Aleksi KurkelaTheoretical Physics Department CERN XiaoYu Lai Ang Li XiangDong Li ZhaoSheng Li Manuel Linares FangJun Lu Simin Mahmoodifar Mariano Méndez M.Coleman Miller Sharon Morsink Joonas N?ttil? | 20 | Integrated chromatin and transcriptomic profiling of patient-derived colon cancer organoids identifies personalized drug targets to overcome oxaliplatin resistance显示文摘Colorectal cancer is a leading cause of cancer deaths. Most colorectal cancer patients eventually develop chemoresistance to the current standard-of-care therapies. Here,we used patient-derived colorectal cancer organoids to demonstrate that resistant tumor cells undergo significant chromatin changes in response to oxaliplatin treatment.Integrated transcriptomic and chromatin accessibility analyses using ATAC-Seq and RNA-Seq identified a group of genes associated with significantly increased chromatin accessibility and upregulated gene expression.CRISPR/Cas9 silencing of fibroblast growth factor receptor 1(FGFR1)and oxytocin receptor(OXTR)helped overcome oxaliplatin resistance.Similarly, treatment with oxaliplatin in combination with an FGFR1 inhibitor(PD166866)or an antagonist of OXTR(L-368,899)suppressed chemoresistant organoids. However, oxaliplatin treatment did not activate either FGFR1 or OXTR expression in another resistant organoid, suggesting that chromatin accessibility changes are patient-specific.The use of patient-derived cancer organoids in combination with transcriptomic and chromatin profiling may lead to precision treatments to overcome chemoresistance in colorectal cancer. | Kuei-Ling Tung Kai-Yuan Chen Marcos Negrete Tianyi Chen Alexias Safi Abed Alhalim Aljamal Lingyun Song Gregory E.Crawford Shengli Ding David S.Hsu Xiling Shen | 2021 | Genes & Diseases2021,8,2: | 0
