Owing to their unique and tunable structural, physical, and chemical properties, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have exhibited great potentials in water treatment. This review makes an attempt to provide an overview of potential solutions to various environmental challenges by using CNTs as adsorbents, catalysts or catalyst support, membranes, and electrodes. | 2 | Investigation of Solidification and Segregation Characteristics of Cast Ni-Base Superalloy K417G显示文摘Differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) analysis, isothermal solidification experiment and Thermo-Calc simulation were employed to investigate solidification characteristics of K417 G Ni-base superalloy. Electron probe microanalysis(EPMA) was employed to analyze the segregation characteristics. Liquidus,solidus and the formation temperatures of main phases were measured. In the process of solidification,the volume fraction of liquid dropped dramatically in the initial stage, while the dropping rate became very low in the final stage due to severe segregation of positive segregation elements into the residual liquid. The solidification began with the formation of primary γ. Then with solidification proceeding, Ti and Mo were enriched in the liquid interdendrite, which resulted in the precipitation of MC carbides in the interdendrite. Al accumulated into liquid at the initial stage, but gathered to solid later due to the precipitation of γ/γ’ eutectic at the intermediate stage of solidification. However, Co tended to segregate toward the solid phase. In the case of K417 G alloy, combining DSC analysis and isothermal solidification experiment is a good way to investigate the solidification characteristics. | 4 | Nitrated and parent PAHs in the surface water of Lake Taihu,China:Occurrence,distribution,source,and human health risk assessment显示文摘Nitrated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(NPAHs)have toxic potentials that are higher than those of their corresponding parent polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)and thus have received increasing attention in recent years.In this study,the occurrence,distribution,source,and human health risk assessment of 15 NPAHs and 16 PAHs were investigated in the surface water from 20 sampling sites of Lake Taihu during the dry,normal,and flood seasons of 2018.The PAH concentrations ranged from 255 to 7298 ng/L and the NPAH concentrations ranged from not-detected(ND)to 212 ng/L.Among the target analytes,2-nitrofluorene(2-n Flu)was the predominant NPAH,with a detection frequency ranging from 85%to 90%and a maximum concentration of 56.2 ng/L.The three-ringed and four-ringed NPAHs and PAHs comprised the majority of the detected compounds.In terms of seasonal variation,the highest levels of the NPAHs and PAHs were in the dry season and flood season,respectively.Diagnostic ratio analysis indicated that the prime source of NPAHs was direct combustion,whereas in the case of PAHs the contribution was predominantly from a mixed pattern including pollution from unburned petroleum and petroleum combustion.The human health risk of NPAHs and PAHs was evaluated using a lifetime carcinogenic risk assessment model.The carcinogenic risk level of the targets ranged from 2.09×10^(-7)to 5.75×10^(-5)and some surface water samples posed a potential health risk. | Jijie Kong Yuxuan Dai Mengshu Han Huan He Jiapeng Hu Junyi Zhang Junzhe Shi Qiming Xian Shaogui Yang Cheng Sun | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,4: | 6 |
| 5 | Classification and Location Scheme Selection of Coupling Components in Integrated Electrical and Heating Systems with Renewable Energy显示文摘Integrated energy systems(IES)are under development to accommodate the widespread penetration of renewable energy into power systems.The universal utilization of coupling components makes the connection between power grids and heat grids even closer.This paper applies energy flow calculations to planning problems and explores a method for selecting coupling components in the integrated electrical and heating systems.This process is based on the analysis of energy flow distribution and the comprehensive indexes,which include operation cost and the penalty cost of wind curtailment and solar energy curtailment.Besides,a selection method of coupling components installation locations based on energy flow calculations is provided.At last,an IES with 5 electrical buses and 5 heating nodes,and a 9-bus electrical power system with a 31-node heating transmission system are chosen to study the specific application problems in detail as well as to elucidate the effectiveness of the proposed method.It turned out that the relevant coupling components and their positions can be selected according to the indexes obtained by integrated electrical-hydraulic-thermal calculation.This proposed method is conducive to the planning of integrated energy systems. | Jinghua Li Mengshu Zhu Yujin Huang | 2020 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2020,6,3: | 4 |

| 9 | The key environmental factors driving the succession of phytoplankton functional groups in Hongfeng Reservoir, southwest China显示文摘Reservoirs are an important water source in many densely populated areas in southwest China.Phytoplankton play an essential role in maintaining the structure and function of reservoir ecosystems.Understanding the succession in phytoplankton communities and the factors driving it are essential for eff ective water quality management in drinking water reservoirs.In this study,water samples were collected monthly at the surface layers from March 2016 to December 2019 in Hongfeng Reservoir,southwest China.The relationship between functional group succession was analyzed based on nonmetric multidimensional scaling analysis(NMDS),redundancy analysis(RDA),succession rate,and other analysis methods.The results showed distinct shifts in the community structure of phytoplankton functional groups within study period.The Cyclotella sp.was dominant in 2016 and 2017,and Pseudanabaena limnetica was the dominant group in 2018 and 2019.It appears that the phytoplankton composition and biomass are closely related to the water temperature and nutrient status in this reservoir.The results clearly showed that the permanganate index(COD_(Mn))was the key factor of dramatic phytoplankton functional group succession,and the change in succession rates was closely caused by total nitrogen concentration(TN).Therefore,the succession pattern and key factors of Hongfeng Reservoir revealed in this study were important guidance for the management of drinking water reservoirs in southwest China.A reasonable limit on exogenous nutrient input should be a priority,especially in high water temperature period. | Libin HAN Qiuhua LI Wensheng CHEN Xing WANG Shihui ZHOU Mengshu HAN Anton BRANCELJ | 2022 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2022,40,4: | 2 |
