| 5 | Evaluation of a simulation-based workshop on clinical performance for emergency physicians and nurses显示文摘BACKGROUND: Simulation-based medical education has been growing rapidly and becomes one of the most popular teaching methods for improving patient safety and patient care. The Simulation Subcommittee of the Hong Kong College of Emergency Medicine organized an educational program emphasizing the team training, clinical decision-making and communication skills. This study aimed to evaluate the attitude of the participants toward a new training program and the change in the knowledge on clinical performance in emergency physicians and nurses after attending the educational program.METHODS: A course evaluation form was filled in by the participants at the end of the workshop. An assessment of 20 multiple-choice questions with 5 options was administered to the participants before and after the 2-day simulation-based training workshop.RESULTS: A total of 72 doctors and nurses working in the Accident and Emergency Department were enrolled. The average pretest and posttest scores were 12 and 14.3 respectively. The percentage improvement in the mean score of the pretest and posttest was 11.5%. The Chi-square test showed signifi cant improvement in the pretest and posttest score grading(P=0.00). Paired t-test revealed signifi cant difference between the mean scores of the pretest and posttest(P=0.00).CONCLUSIONS: Participants had positive attitude toward this new training program. | 7 | Untreated Prior Pulmonary Tuberculosis Adversely Affects Pregnancy Outcomes in Infertile Women Undergoing in vitro Fertilization and Embryo Transfer: A Large Retrospective Cohort Study显示文摘Objective Prior pulmonary tuberculosis(PTB) on chest X-ray(CXR) was commonly found in infertile patients receiving examinations before in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer(IVF-ET). It was unclear whether untreated PTB would affect pregnancy outcomes after IVF-ET.Method We conducted a retrospective cohort study of 14,254 infertile patients who had received IVFET at Peking University Third Hospital in 2017. Prior PTB was defined as the presence of signs suggestive of old or inactive PTB on CXR, with or without a clinical TB history. Patients who had prior PTB on CXR but had not received a clinical diagnosis and anti-TB therapy were included for analysis. Live birth,clinical pregnancy, and miscarriage rates were compared between the untreated PTB and non-PTB groups.Results The untreated PTB group had significantly lower clinical pregnancy(31.7% vs. 38.1%) and live birth(23.8% vs. 30.6%) rates than the non-PTB group(both P < 0.001). | 8 | Adsorption-oxidation of hydrogen sulfide on Fe/walnut-shell activated carbon surface modified by NH_3-plasma显示文摘Walnut-shell activated carbon(WSAC) supported ferric oxide was modified by non-thermal plasma(NTP), and the removal efficiency for hydrogen sulfide over Fe/WSAC modified by dielectric barrier discharge(DBD) was significantly promoted. The sample modified for10 min and 6.8 k V output(30 V input voltage) maintained 100% H2 S conversion over a long reaction time of 390 min. The surface properties of adsorbents modified by NTP under different conditions were evaluated by the methods of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller(BET) analysis and in-situ Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), to help understand the effect of the NTP treatment. NTP treatment enhanced the adsorption capacity of Fe/WSAC, which could due to the formation of micro-pores with sizes of0.4, 0.5 and 0.75 nm. XPS revealed that chemisorbed oxygen changed into lattice oxygen after NTP treatment, and lattice oxygen is beneficial for H2 S oxidation. From the in-situ FTIR result,transformation of the reaction path on Fe/WSAC was observed after NTP modification. | 9 | Threshold effects of tourism agglomeration on the green innovation efficiency of China's tourism industry显示文摘Industrial agglomeration is an essential and effective way to integrate resources and elements. Its impact on the green innovation efficiency of the tourism industry is a process of continuous development and dynamic change. This paper, based on the provincial panel data from 2006 to 2015, uses super SBM model to measure the green innovation efficiency of China's tourism industry.The threshold regression model is employed to conduct empirical tests of the nonlinear threshold effect of agglomeration on the green innovation efficiency of tourism industry. The inter-provincial differences of various threshold effects and their possible causes are analyzed. Results indicate that the green innovation efficiency of China's tourism industry is generally growing, while regional disparity is significant with a gradient decrease along the eastern-central-western regions. There is an obvious positive nonlinear relationship between tourism agglomeration and green innovation efficiency. It is also found that with the increase of agglomeration, its influence is at a high level. As the level of agglomeration crosses the first threshold, its impact is at a low level, and when it crosses the second threshold, the impact of tourism agglomeration is at an intermediate level. | 11 | Text Mining of Rheumatoid Arthritis and Diabetes Mellitus to Understand the Mechanisms of Chinese Medicine in Different Diseases with Same Treatment显示文摘Objective: To identify the commonalities between rheumatoid arthritis(RA) and diabetes mellitus(DM) to understand the mechanisms of Chinese medicine(CM) in different diseases with the same treatment. Methods: A text mining approach was adopted to analyze the commonalities between RA and DM according to CM and biological elements. The major commonalities were subsequently verified in RA and DM rat models, in which herbal formula for the treatment of both RA and DM identified via text mining was used as the intervention. Results: Similarities were identified between RA and DM regarding the CM approach used for diagnosis and treatment, as well as the networks of biological activities affected by each disease, including the involvement of adhesion molecules, oxidative stress, cytokines, T-lymphocytes, apoptosis, and inflammation. The Ramulus Cinnamomi-Radix Paeoniae Alba-Rhizoma Anemarrhenae is an herbal combination used to treat RA and DM. This formula demonstrated similar effects on oxidative stress and inflammation in rats with collagen-induced arthritis, which supports the text mining results regarding the commonalities between RA and DM. | 12 | Surface characterization of metal oxides-supported activated carbon fiber catalysts for simultaneous catalytic hydrolysis of carbonyl sulfide and carbon disulfide显示文摘The sol–gel method was used to synthesize a series of metal oxides-supported activated carbon fiber (ACF) and the simultaneous catalytic hydrolysis activity of carbonyl sulfide (COS)and carbon disulfide (CS2) at relatively low temperatures of 60°C was tested.The effects of preparation conditions on the catalyst properties were investigated,including the kinds and amount of metal oxides and calcination temperatures.The activity tests indicated that catalysts with 5 wt.%Ni after calcining at 400°C (Ni(5)/ACF(400)) had the best performance for the simultaneous catalytic hydrolysis of COS and CS2.The surface and structure properties of prepared ACF were characterized by scanning electron microscope-energy disperse spectroscopy (SEM-EDS),Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET),X-ray diffraction (XRD),carbon dioxidetemperature programmed desorption (CO2-TPD) and diffuse reflectance Fourier transform infrared reflection (DRFTIR).And the metal cation defects were researched by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) method.The characterization results showed that the supporting of Ni on the ACF made the ACF catalyst show alkaline and increased the specific surface area and the number of micropores,then improved catalytic hydrolysis activity.The DRFTIR results revealed that-OH species could facilitate the hydrolysis of COS and CS2;-COO and-C–O species could facilitate the oxidation of catalytic hydrolysate H2S.And the EPR results showed that high calcination temperature conditions provide more active reaction center for the COS and CS2 adsorption. | Kunlin Li Chi Wang Ping Ning Kai Li Xin Sun Xin Song Yi Mei | 2020 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,10: | 3 |

| 14 | Coupling Effects of Irrigation and Phosphorus Fertilizer Applications on Phosphorus Uptake and Use Efficiency of Winter Wheat显示文摘The water content and nutrient in soil are two main determine factors to crop yield and quality, managements of which in field are of great importance to maintain sustainable high yield. The objective of this study was to measure the uptake, forms, and use efficiency of phosphorus (P) in wheat under four levels of irrigation (W0, W1, W2, and W3) and three levels of P application (P0, P1, and P2) through two growth seasons of wheat (2008-2010). The field experiment was carried out in a low level of soil P concentration and the cultivar was Jimai 20. The results indicated that P fertilizer combined with irrigation not only improved the activity of phosphatase in soil, but also increased P accumulation in wheat, similar results was found in the grain of wheat, the content of total P increased significantly. Meanwhile, the mainly existence forms of P in grain were the lecithoid-P and labile organic-P. On the other hand, in comparison to the irrigation, the dry matter and grain P production efficiency and postponing P application of wheat increased with increasing P application rates within the range of 0-180 kg P2O5 ha-1. The interaction between P and irrigation also significantly (P<0.01) affected on the P accumulation, grain total P, grain phospholipid P, and P production efficiency. | 16 | Exsolution of CoFe(Ru)nanoparticles in Ru-doped(La_(0.8)Sr_(0.2))_(0.9)Co_(0.1)Fe_(0.8)Ru_(0.1)O_(3−δ)for efficient oxygen evolution reaction显示文摘The rational modification of perovskite oxides(ABO3−δ)is essential to improve the efficiency and stability of oxygen electrolysis.Surface engineering represents a facile approach to modify perovskites for enhanced performance.Through compositional design and in situ exsolution,a Ru-doped(La_(0.8)Sr_(0.2))_(0.9)Co_(0.1)Fe_(0.8)Ru_(0.1)O_(3−δ)(LSCFR)perovskite anchored with CoFe(Ru)alloy particles on the surface was fabricated for oxygen evolution reaction(OER)in this work.Experimental results and calculations indicate that Ru-doping promotes the exsolution of CoFe(Ru)from the perovskite parent.Upon exsolution in the reduced atmosphere for 3 h,the catalyst(LSCFR-3)exhibited superior OER performance with an overpotential of 347 mV and a Tafel slope of 54.65 mV·dec^(−1),and showed good stability in contrast to the pristine LSCFR.The exsolution of CoFe(Ru)particles,Ru doping,and the increase of surface oxygen vacancies are responsible for the enhancement of OER performance.The findings obtained in this study highlight the possibility of controlling exsolution and composition of nanoparticles by element doping and prove that in situ exsolution is an effective strategy for designing OER catalysts. | Yi Liang Yu Cui Yang Chao Ning Han Jaka Sunarso Ping Liang Xin He Chi Zhang Shaomin Liu | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,8: | 3 |

| 18 | Cu/ACF adsorbent modified by non-thermal plasma for simultaneous adsorption–oxidation of H_(2)S and PH_(3)显示文摘Non-thermal plasma(NTP)surface modification technology is a new method to control the surface properties of materials,which has been widely used in the field of environmental protection because of its short action time,simple process and no pollution.In this study,Cu/ACF(activated carbon fiber loaded with copper)adsorbent was modified with NTP to remove H_(2)S and PH_(3) simultaneously under low temperature and micro-oxygen condition.Meanwhile,the effects of different modified atmosphere(air,N_(2) and NH_(3)),specific energy input(0–13 J/mL)and modification time(0–30 min)on the removal of H_(2)S and PH_(3) were investigated.Performance test results indicated that under the same reaction conditions,the adsorbent modified by NH_(3) plasma with 5 J/mL for 10 min had the best removal effect on H_(2)S and PH_(3).CO_(2) temperature-programmed desorption and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)analyzes showed that NH_(3) plasma modification could introduce amino functional groups on the surface of the adsorbent,and increase the types and number of alkaline sites on the surface.Brunauer-Emmett-Teller and scanning electron microscopy showed that NH_(3) plasma modification did not significantly change the pore size structure of the adsorbent,but more active components were evenly exposed to the surface,thus improving the adsorption performance.In addition,X-ray diffraction and XPS analysis indicated that the consumption of active components(Cu and Cu_(2)O)and the accumulation of sulfate and phosphate on the surface and inner pores of the adsorbent are the main reasons for the deactivation of the adsorbent. | Xinyu Yang Kai Li Chi Wang Fei Wang Xin Sun Yixing Ma Yuan Li Lei Shi Ping Ning | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,5: | 2 |
| 19 | Influence of drying and calcination temperatures for Ce-Cu-Al trimetallic composite catalyst on simultaneous removal H_(2)S and PH_(3):Experimental and DFT studies显示文摘This work explored the influences of the drying and calcination temperatures on a Ce-Cu-Al trimetallic composite catalyst for the simultaneous removal of H_(2)S and PH_(3).The effects of both temperatures on the structural features and activity were examined.The density functional theory method was used to calculate adsorption energies and further analyze their adsorption behavior on different slabs.Experiments revealed suitable drying and calcination temperatures to be 60 and 500℃,respectively.The capacity reached 323.8 and 288.1 mg/g.Adjusting drying temperature to 60℃is more inclined to form larger and structured grains of CuO.Rising calcinating temperature to 500℃could increase the grain size and redox capacity of CuO to promote performance.Higher temperatures would destroy the surface structure and lead to a crystal phase transformation,which was that the CuO and Al_(2)O_(3)were gradually recombined into CuAl_(2)O_(4)with a spinel structure.The exposed crystal planes of surficial CuO and CuAl_(2)O_(4)were determined according to characterization results.Calculation results showed that,compared with CuO(111),H_(2)S and PH_(3)have weaker adsorption strength on CuAl_(2)O_(4)(100)which is not conducive to their adsorption and removal. | Yingwu Wang Qiang Lin Chi Wang Kai Li Xin Sun Xin Song Yangyan Gao Ping Ning | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,6: | 2 |
