2A critical review on the chemical wear and wear suppression of diamond tools in diamond cutting of ferrous metals显示文摘Diamond tools play a critical role in ultra-precision machining due to their excellent physical and mechanical material properties,such as that cutting edge can be sharpened to nanoscale accuracy.However,abrasive chemical reactions between diamond and non-diamond-machinable metal elements,including Fe,Cr,Ti,Ni,etc,can cause excessive tool wear in diamond cutting of such metals and most of their alloys.This paper reviews the latest achievements in the chemical wear and wear suppression methods for diamond tools in cutting of ferrous metals.The focus will be on the wear mechanism of diamond tools,and the typical wear reduction methods for diamond cutting of ferrous metals,including ultrasonic vibration cutting,cryogenic cutting,surface nitridation and plasma assisted cutting,etc.Relevant commercially available devices are introduced as well.Furthermore,future research trends in diamond tool wear suppression are discussed and examined.Guo Jiang Zhang Jianguo Pan Yanan Kang Renke Namba Yoshiharu Shore Paul Yue Xiaobin Wang Baorui Guo Dongming 2020International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing2020,2,1:7
3NetV.js:A web-based library for high-efficiency visualization of large-scale graphs and networks显示文摘Graph visualization plays an important role in several fields,such as social media networks,protein-protein interaction networks,and traffic networks.A number of visualization design tools and programming toolkits have been widely used in graph-related applications.However,a key challenge remains in the high-efficiency visualization of large-scale graph data.In this study,we present NetV.js,an open-source and WebGL-based JavaScript library that supports the fast visualization of large-scale graph data(up to 50 thousand nodes and 1 million edges)at an interactive frame rate with a commodity computer.Experimental results demonstrate that our library outperforms existing toolkits(Sigma.js,D3.js,Cytoscape.js,and Stardust.js)in terms of performance.Dongming Han Jiacheng Pan Xiaodong Zhao Wei Chen 2021Visual Informatics2021,5,1:5
4Reversing cold tumors to hot: An immunoadjuvant-functionalized metalorganic framework for multimodal imaging-guided synergistic photoimmunotherapy显示文摘Immunotherapy assays using immunoadjuvants and tumor antigens could greatly increase the survival rates of patients with malignant tumors.As effective carriers,metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)have been widely utilized in cancer therapy due to their remarkable histocompatibility and low toxicity.Herein,we constructed a multimodal imaging-guided synergistic cancer photoimmunotherapy by employing a specific MOF(MIL101-NH2)as the core carrier;the MOF was dual-dressed with photoacoustic and fluorescent signal donors(indocyanine green,ICG)and immune adjuvants(cytosine-phosphate-guanine sequence,CpG)and named ICGCpG@MOF.This nanocarrier could passively target the tumor site through the EPR effect and achieve multimodal imaging(fluorescence,photoacoustic,photothermal and magnetic resonance imaging)of the tumor.Synergistic cancer photoimmunotherapy was achieved via simultaneous photodynamic and photothermal methods with 808 nm laser irradiation.ICG-CpG@MOF achieved the GSH-controlled release of immunoadjuvant into the tumor microenvironment.Furthermore,the released tumor-associated antigen along with CpG could induce the transformation of tumor cells from cold to hot by activating the immune system,which significantly enhanced tumor cytotoxicity and achieved high cure rates with minimal side-effects.This strategy utilizing multimodal imaging and synergistic cancer photoimmunotherapy provides a promising approach for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.Zhijin Fan Hongxing Liu Yaohua Xue Jingyan Lin Yu Fu Zhaohua Xia Dongming Pan Jian Zhang Kun Qiao Zhenzhen Zhang Yuhui Liao 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,2:4

6Early Activation of Astrocytes does not Affect Amyloid Plaque Load in an Animal Model of Alzheimer's Disease显示文摘Astrocytes are closely associated with Alzheimer's disease(AD). However, their precise roles in AD pathogenesis remain controversial. One of the reasons behind the different results reported by different groups might be that astrocytes were targeted at different stages of disease progression. In this study, by crossing h APP(human amyloid precursor protein)-J20 mice with a line of GFAP-TK mice, we found that astrocytes were activated specifically at an early stage of AD before the occurrence of amyloid plaques, while microglia were not affected by this crossing. Activation of astrocytes at the age of 3–5 months did not affect the proteolytic processing of hAPP and amyloid plaque loads in the brains of hAPP-J20 mice. 7Numerical simulation for recognition of coalfield fire areas by Rayleigh waves显示文摘Effective recognition of a coalfield fire area improves fire-fighting efficiency and helps avoid potential geological hazards. Coalfield fire areas are hard to detect accurately using general geophysical methods. This paper describes simulations of shallow, buried coalfield fires based on real geological conditions. Recognizing the coalfield fire by Rayleigh wave is proposed. Four representative geological models are constructed, namely; the non-burning model, the pseudo-burning model, the real-burning model, and the hidden-burning model. Numerical simulation using these models shows many markedly different characteristics between them in terms of Rayleigh wave dispersion and Eigen displacement. These characteristics, as well as the shear wave velocity obtained by inverting the fundamental dispersion, make it possible to distinguish the type of the coalfield fire area and indentify the real and serious coalfield fire area. 8Multi-parameter numerical simulation of dynamic monitoring of rock deformation in deep mining显示文摘The level of deformation development of surrounding rocks is a vital predictor to evaluate impending coal mine disasters and it is important to establish accurate measurements of the deformed status to ensure coal mine safety. Traditional deformation monitoring methods are mostly based on single parameter, in this paper, multiple approaches are integrated: firstly, both electric and elastic models are established,from which electric field distribution and seismic wave recording are calculated and finally, the resistivity profiles and source position information are determined using inversion methods, from which then the deformation and failure of mine floor are evaluated. According to the inversion results of both electric and seismic field signals, multiple-parameter dynamic monitoring of surrounding rock deformation in deep mine can be performed. 13Performance analysis of full-duplex densely distributed MIMO with wireless backhaul显示文摘In this paper,the spectral efficiency of a full-duplex(FD)densely distributed multi-input multioutput(MIMO)system with wireless backhaul is considered.In-band full-duplex(IBFD)backhauling,in which the backhaul and access transmissions take place on the same spectrum,is exploited for wireless backhauling to enable an efficient spectrum reuse.However,the severe cross-tier interference and crosslink interference reduce the gains of IBFD backhauling.To evaluate the achievable spectral efficiency with imperfect channel state information(CSI),we propose a two-phase channel estimation scheme to estimate the CSI for two wireless links,and the scheme estimates an effective interference CSI between access points(APs)based on beamforming training to perform interference cancelation at APs.Given the estimated CSI,the closed-form expressions of the uplink and downlink achievable rates with maximum ratio transmission beamforming and maximum ratio combining receivers,respectively,are derived with Gamma approximation.Numerical results verify the accuracy of the derived closed-form expressions and the effectiveness of the twophase channel estimation scheme for interference cancelation.Moreover,compared with half-duplex densely distributed MIMO systems,FD systems with interference cancelation have a better performance.Ziqian WAN Qijun PAN Jiamin LI Pengcheng ZHU Dongming WANG 2023Science China(Information Sciences)2023,66,6:1

17A visual analysis approach for data imputation via multi-party tabular data correlation strategies显示文摘Data imputation is an essential pre-processing task for data governance,aimed at filling in incomplete data.However,conventional data imputation methods can only partly alleviate data incompleteness using isolated tabular data,and they fail to achieve the best balance between accuracy and eficiency.In this paper,we present a novel visual analysis approach for data imputation.We develop a multi-party tabular data association strategy that uses intelligent algorithms to identify similar columns and establish column correlations across multiple tables.Then,we perform the initial imputation of incomplete data using correlated data entries from other tables.Additionally,we develop a visual analysis system to refine data imputation candidates.Our interactive system combines the multi-party data imputation approach with expert knowledge,allowing for a better understanding of the relational structure of the data.This significantly enhances the accuracy and eficiency of data imputation,thereby enhancing the quality of data governance and the intrinsic value of data assets.Experimental validation and user surveys demonstrate that this method supports users in verifying and judging the associated columns and similar rows using theirdomain knowledge.Haiyang ZHU Dongming HAN Jiacheng PAN Yating WEI Yingchaojie FENG Luoxuan WENG Ketian MAO Yuankai XING Jianshu LV Qiucheng WAN Wei CHEN 2024Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering2024,25,3:0

20How Telemedicine is Being Used Today and Tomorrow显示文摘Telemedicine is a tool to break down barriers to patient care, particularly in rural area.A physician can examine a patient located in another city, view highly detailed medical images,consult with distant sub-specialists, or supervise complex medical procedures. This paper reviewsthe evolution of telemedicine, its technical fundamentals, and some of the advanced techniques forits application. Steps of the successful telemedicine implementation network are also listed. Onthe other hand, remote hospitals can obtain specialist consultations and diagnosis without need forthe patient to travel. This article sheds light on the technology, benefits, and various applicationsof telemedicine with their multimedia and communication requirements.
