2Oxygen and carbon isotope records of calcareous nanno-fossils for the past 1 Ma in the southern South China Sea显示文摘Oxygen and carbon isotopic analyses have been carried out on calcareous nannofossils from ODP Site 1143 in the southern South China Sea. The results demonstrate that the δ18O values of calcareous nannofossils for the past 1 Ma vary systematically with those of planktonic and benthic foraminifera from the same site. But the average δ18O value of nannofossils is 1.869‰ higher than that of planktonic foraminifera, and is 3.855‰ lower than that of benthic foar-minifera. There are systematic differences between the δ13C values of nannofossils, planktonic foarminifera and benthic foraminifera. The average δ13C of nannofossils is 0.756‰ higher than that of benthic foraminifera, and is 0.460‰ lower than that of planktonic foraminifera. The δ13C values of nannofossils exhibit a significant positive shift beginning near isotope stage 14 and lasting until stage 8. This study also finds that there is a close ralationship between the δ13C of nannofossils and the percentage of Florisphaera profundo. 3Seismic tomography showing subduction and slab breakoff of the Yangtze block beneath the Dabie-Sulu orogenic belt显示文摘Seismic tomography reveals that a subducted ancient block has been preserved beneath the Moho of the Dabie-Sulu orogenic belt. Taking into account of geological and geochronological data, we inferred from the tomographic images that the Yangtze block was subducted northward beneath the Sino-Korean block and broken off at the depth <200 km during 200-190 Ma. 4Confinement and antenna effect for ultrasmall Y_(2)O_(3):Eu^(3+) nanocrystals supported by MOF with enhanced near-UV light absorption thereby enhanced luminescence and excellently multifunctional applications显示文摘A novel host-guest luminous system with enhanced near-UV light absorption thereby enhanced luminescence are designed based on the synergism of quantum confinement,spatial confinement,and antenna effect,where ultrasmall Y_(2)O_(3):Eu^(3+)nanocrystals are fixed inside MOF(Eu/Y-BTC)as supporting structure.The Eu/Y-BTC not only limits the size and leads to lattice distortion of Y_(2)O_(3):Eu^(3+)nanocrystals and controls the distance between nanocrystals,but also promotes the light absorption and emission.The significantly red-shifted and broadened charge transfer band of Y_(2)O_(3):Eu^(3+)/(Eu/Y-BTC)leads to the excellent applications of Y_(2)O_(3):Eu^(3+)in white light-emitting diodes(LEDs).Our results show that white light with superior color quality(CRI>90)and extremely high luminous efficacy(an LER of 335 lm/W)could be achieved using Y_(2)O_(3):Eu^(3+)/(Eu/Y-BTC)as red phosphor.The Y_(2)O_(3):Eu^(3+)/(Eu/Y-BTC)also improves the photoelectric performance of dye-sensitized solar cells(DSSCs),not only because Y_(2)O_(3):Eu^(3+)/(Eu/Y-BTC)has a large specific surface area and the adsorption amount of the dye is increased,but also because the valence band position of Y_(2)O_(3):Eu^(3+)/(Eu/Y-BTC)is 2.41 eV,which can provide an additional energy level between the TiO2 and dye,promoting electron transfer.For these advantageous features,the multifunctional Y_(2)O_(3):Eu^(3+)/(Eu/Y-BTC)composite product will open new avenues in white LEDs and DSSCs.Hongyi Xu Wenjing Yu Kai Pan Guofeng Wang Peifen Zhu 2021Nano Research2021,14,3:5
5Mn-Co oxide decorated on Cu nanowires as efficient catalysts for catalytic oxidation of toluene显示文摘Mn-Co mixed oxides were electrodeposited on Cu nanowires generated on Cu foam(CF)and used for effectively catalytic oxidation of toluene.The physical and chemical properties of the prepared catalysts were characterized by SEM,TEM,XRD,H_(2)-TPR,O_(2)-TPD and XPS.It is found that the Mn-Co mixed metal oxides were uniformly coated on the Cu nanowires by the electrochemical method,whose Mn/Co ratio can be tuned by adjusting the molar ratio of Mn/Co in the initial solution for the electrodeposition.The intimate contact between Mn and Co nanocrystals was found by HRTEM,which is important for realizing synergetic effects on improving catalytic activity.Meanwhile,the formation of the active surface oxygen species and the increase of the active species of Mn^(4+)and Co^(3+)were considered to make significant contribution to the catalytic oxidation of toluene.Mn-Co mixed metal oxide catalysts exhibited higher performance than the single metal oxide,and especially 0.10Mn-0.01Co/CF catalyst with the Mn/Co molar ratio of 10:1 in the initial solution for the electrodeposition achieved the highest catalytic activity with a low toluene conversion temperature(T_(90%))of 251℃,and displayed excellent catalytic stability even in the presence of water vapor.It is expected that such a simply-electrodeposited mixed metal oxides based catalysts could be applied for the oxidation of volatile organic compounds(VOCs)in a practical process.Jing Wang Peifen Wang Akihiro Yoshid Qiang Zhao Shasha Li Xiaogang Hao Abuliti Abudula Guangwen Xu Guoqing Guan 2020Carbon Resources Conversion2020,3,1:4
6Paleoceanographic records and sea ice extension history on the slope of the northern Bering Sea over the last 100 ka B.P.显示文摘Quantitative analytic results of the biogenic components in Core B2-9 from the northern Bering Sea slope indicate that the coarse fraction and opal content, serving as proxies of surface productivity, have increased stepwise since the marine isotope stage(MIS)5.3, reflecting periodic enhancement in surface productivity.The surface productivity attained its highest level during the Holocene, followed by MIS 3.2 to 2 and then MIS 5.3 to 3.3 with a lowest level. High total organic carbon(TOC) contents, together with high C/N ratios, which stand mostly between 7 and 20, show that the TOC was deposited from mixing sources. Therefore,one has to be cautious to use TOC as a proxy of surface productivity.The high TOC and C/N ratio during MIS 5.1, 3.3 to 3.2 and the Holocene reflect that the terrigenous organic matter input increased during interglacial periods.Increases in the fine- and silt-grained terrigenous components from MIS 5.3 to the middle Holocene imply that with the cooling climate, sea ice on the Bering Sea slope extended continuously. Ice-rafted and charcoal detritus increased during glacial, interstadial and the last deglaciation periods and decreased during interglacial periods, suggesting that sea ice on the slope increased and melted, respectively, during glacial and interglacial periods. 7Rare-earth single atom based luminescent composite nanomaterials:Tunable full-color single phosphor and applications in WLEDs显示文摘High-quality single-component white phosphors are instrumental in realizing high-efficiency devices.Rare earth fluorides and carbon quantum dots have great potential in the white light-emitting diode(WLED)field due to their unique advantages.Here,Rare-earth single atom based NaGdF4:Tb^(3+)/Eu^(3+)@C:N/Eu^(3+)single phosphor with tunable full-color luminescence was reported.The results of density functional theory(DFT)calculation and experimental characterization show that C atoms cannot be replaced by Eu^(3+),but C atoms are more favorable for anchoring Eu^(3+)single atoms.The DFT was employed to optimize the structures of the C:N/Eu^(3+)and NaGdF4:Tb^(3+)/Eu^(3+),and calculate the work function,optical properties,and charge density difference.The obtained tunable full-color single phosphor can emit stable light from blue to red or even white.The constructed WLED devices also have stable and excellent color performance,that is,a color rendering index of up to 95 and a lower color temperature,and it has broad application possibilities in WLEDs.Shan Bao Haiyue Yu Guoyang Gao Hongyang Zhu Dingsheng Wang Peifen Zhu Guofeng Wang 2022Nano Research2022,15,4:2
8Stable hetero-metal doped Co-based catalysts prepared by electrodeposition method for low temperature combustion of toluene显示文摘A series of hetero-metal(Ni,Mn,and Cu)doped Co-based catalysts were prepared by a unipolar pulse electro-deposition(UPED)method and applied for the catalytic combustion of toluene.It is found that hetero-metal doping significantly influenced the morphology and surface elemental compositions of Co-based catalysts,and the increase in the contents of Ni and Mn elements made a negative influence on the catalyst structure.H_(2)-TPR and O_(2)-TPD analysis results suggested that the hetero-metal doping enhanced the low temperature reducibility and resulted in the formation of lattice defects,which were favorable to generate more easily reducible species and facilitate the oxygen mobility,thereby improved the performance for the catalytic combustion of toluene.Especially,the Co-Cu/NF catalyst performed the best catalytic activity with the lowest toluene conversion temperature of T90 at 248℃,which should be contributed by its low-temperature reducibility,increased surface and lattice oxygen species,and high content of active Co^(3+)species promoted by the interaction of the mixed metal oxides.Moreover,the Co-Cu/NF also performed excellent catalytic stability and high selectivity to CO_(2) in the presence and absence of water vapor for the catalytic combustion of toluene for a long term.Jing Wang Peifen Wang Qiang Zhao Jin Shi Tao Yu Xiao Du Xiaogang Hao Abuliti Abudula Guoqing Guan 2020Carbon Resources Conversion2020,3,1:2
