| 2 | EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF FLOWFIELD STRUCTURE AROUND AN OGIVE-CYLINDER显示文摘The flowfield structure and their aerodynamic characteristics over an ogive cylinder were studied by means of flow visualization and surface pressure measurement in a water tunnel and a wind tunnel. The existence of multi asymmetric vortices over long slender bodies was experimentally confirmed at large angles of attack and in the subcritical Reynolds number range. The spatial 3 D characteristics of the multi vortices system were analyzed and a physical model was developed. The topological structure of different patterns in cross flow plane was studied and the mechanism governing the formation of asymmetric vortices and multi vortices was discussed from the viewpoint of stability of the topological structure. | 4 | A smart safe rechargeable zinc ion battery based on sol-gel transition electrolytes显示文摘Thermal runaway has been a long-standing safety issue impeding the development of high-energydensity batteries. Physical safety designs such as employing circuit-breakers and fuses to batteries are limited by small operating voltage windows and no resumption of original working condition when it is cooled down. Here we report a smart thermoresponsive polymer electrolyte that can be incorporated inside batteries to prevent thermal runaway via a fast and reversible sol-gel transition, and successfully combine this smart electrolyte with a rechargeable Zn/a-MnO_2 battery system. At high temperature, battery operation is inhibited as a result of the increased internal resistance caused by the gelation of liquid electrolyte. After cooling down, the electrolyte is spontaneously reversed to sol state and the electrochemical performance of the battery is restored. | 8 | Mechanical,Microstructural and Tribological Properties of Reactive Magnetron Sputtered Cr-Mo-N Films显示文摘The Cr-Mo-N films were deposited on high speed steel(HSS) substrates by a DC reactive magnetron sputtering equipment coupled with two horizontal magnetron sources.The effects of substrate negative bias voltage(V_b),substrate temperature(T_s) and gas flow ratio(R= N_2/(N_2 + Ar)) on the microstructure,morphology,as well as the mechanical and tribological properties of the Cr-Mo-N films were investigated by virtue of X-ray diffraction(XRD) analysis,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),field emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM),atomic force microscopy(AFM),nano-indentation test,ball-on-disk tribometer,and Rockwell indenter et al.With increasing V_b to-100 V,the preferred orientation of the films changed from(111) to(200) and their mechanical and tribological properties were improved gradually,too.It was also found that T_s gave a significant effect on mechanical property enhancement.When the T_s reached 300 ℃,the film obtained the highest hardness and effective elastic modulus of approximately 30.1 and 420.5 GPa,respectively and its critical load increased to about 54 N.With increasing R,the phase transformation from body-centered-cubic(bcc) Cr and hexagonal CrMoN_x multiphase to single face-centered-cubic(fcc) solid solution phase was observed.The correlations between values of hardness(H),effective elastic modulus(E~*),HIE~*,H^3/E^(*2),elastic recovery(1/14) and tribological properties of the films were also investigated.The results showed that the elastic recovery played an important role in the tribological behavior. | Dongli Qi Hao Lei Tiegang Wang Zhiliang Pei Jun Gong Chao Sun | 2015 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2015,31,1: | 10 |
| 9 | Dairy Consumption and Associations with Nutritional Status of Chinese Children and Adolescents显示文摘Objective This study aimed to describe frequency and quantity of total dairy consumption of Chinese children and adolescents and explore the associations between dairy consumption and nutrition status, including stunting, wasting, overweight, and obesity. Methods Participants included 28,250 children and adolescents aged 6-17 years old. A food frequency questionnaire(FFQ) including 100 kinds of food was used to collect information about frequency and quantity of dairy consumption. Determination of stunting was with a height cutoff value for age and gender, and determination for wasting, overweight, and obesity was with BMI for age and gender. Results Of the total sample, 36.1% of children aged 6-17 reported consuming dairy food more than once per day(≥ 1/day). The average total dairy intake of all the participants was 126.7 g/day. For boys, dairy consumption had an inverse correlation with stunting and wasting after controlling for confounders. For girls, dairy consumption was negatively associated with stunting and obesity after controlling for confounders as above. However, the research on the submanifold in semi-Euclidean 4-space with index 2 has not been found from theory of singularity until now. In this paper, as a generalization of the study on lightlike hypersurface in Minkowski space and a preparation for the further study on anti de Sitter space, the singularities of lightlike hypersurface and Lorentzian surface in semi- Euclidean 4-space with index 2 will be studied. To do this, we reveal the relationships between the singularity of distance-squared function and that of lightlike hypersurface. | 16 | Effects of Shugan Jianpi Formula(疏肝健脾方)on Myeloid-Derived Suppression Cells-Mediated Depression Breast Cancer Mice显示文摘Objective:To observe the intervention effect of Shugan Jianpi Formula(疏肝健脾方,SGJPF) on a breast cancer mouse model with depression and investigate the underlying mechanism of SGJPF in preventing the development of breast cancer.Methods:The breast cancer model was induced by inoculation of breast cancer cells,the depression model was induced by chronic stress stimuli,and the depression cancer model was established by combining the two factors.The mice were divided into 7 groups:normal control,depression model,tumor model,depression tumor model,SGJPF,chemotherapy,and SGJPF+chemotherapy groups.The last 3 groups were depression breast cancer mice and treated respectively with SGJPF,chemotherapy drug gemcitabine(GEM),and SGJPF alongside GEM.The condition of the mice was evaluated by the expression of 5-hydroxytryptamine in hippocampus after the sucrose water test and open field test,weight change,and survival time.Tumor growth was monitored with in vivo imaging.Flow cytometry was used to analyze the level of myeloid-derived suppression cell(MDSC) in the mouse spleen,T cell subsets,and the early apoptosis of CD8+T cells.Results:The SGJPF+GEM group had the highest inhibition rate and the longest survival time(P<0.01).The MDSC level and the apoptosis rate of CD8+ T cells was the highest in the SGJPF+GEM group(P<0.05).Conclusions:Depressive disorders and tumor growth could suppress the immune function of mice to different degrees,and the microenvironment in late 4T1 inflammatory breast cancer may play an important role in the pathological process.SGJYF could regulate the immune microenvironment by reducing CD8+ T lymphocyte apoptosis and tumor cell activity,increasing immune surveillance capability,and inhibiting MDSC proliferation,thus prolonging the survival time of tumor-bearing mice. | LU Yu-tong LI Jie QI Xin PEI Ying-xia SHI Wen-guang LIN Hong-sheng | 2017 | Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine2017,23,6: | 6 |
| 17 | Hydrogen generation from ammonia electrolysis on bifunctional platinum nanocubes electrocatalysts显示文摘The ammonia electrolysis is a highly efficient and energy-saving method for ultra-pure hydrogen generation, which highly relies on electrocatalytic performance of electrocatalysts. In this work, high-quality platinum(Pt) nanocubes(Pt-NCs) with 4.5 nm size are achieved by facile hydrothermal synthesis. The physical morphology and structure of Pt-NCs are exhaustively characterized, revealing that Pt-NCs with special {100} facets have excellent uniformity, good dispersity and high crystallinity. Meanwhile, the electrocatalytic performance of Pt-NCs for ammonia electrolysis are carefully investigated in alkaline solutions, which display outstanding electroactivity and stability for both ammonia electrooxidation reaction(AEOR) and hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) in KOH solution. Furthermore, a symmetric Pt-NCs||Pt-NCs ammonia electrolyzer based on bifunctional Pt-NCs electrocatalyst is constructed, which only requires 0.68 V electrolysis voltage for hydrogen generation. | 18 | Velocity forecasts using a combined deep learning model in hybrid electric vehicles with V2V and V2I communication显示文摘Vehicle velocity forecast is an important clue in improving the performance of energy management in hybrid electric vehicles(HEV). This paper presents a new combined model for predicting vehicle’s velocity time series. The main features of the model are to combine the feature extraction capability of deep restricted Boltzmann machines(DBM) and sequence pattern predicting capability of bidirectional long short-term memory(BLSTM). Hence, the model is named as DBMBLSTM. In addition, the DRMBLSTM model utilizes the vehicle driving information and roadside infrastructure information provided respectively through vehicle-to-vehicle(V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure(V2I) communication channels to predict vehicle velocity at various length of prediction horizon. Furthermore, the predictions results of this study are compared with the state of the art of vehicle velocity forecasts. The root mean square error(RMSE) is used as an evaluation criteria of predictions accuracy. Finally,these compared prediction model are applied in model predictive control(MPC) energy management strategy for the verifications of fuel economy improvement of a HEV. Simulation results confirm that the proposed combined deep learning model performs better than other five prediction methods. | 19 | Effects of Ligustrum robustum on gut microbes and obesity in rats显示文摘AIM: To investigate the anti-obesity and antibacterial effects of Ligustrum robustum(L. robustum) in vivoand in vitro and its possible mechanisms. METHODS: The effects of L. robustum aqueous extract(LR) on various gut bacteria in vitro were evaluated. The effects of LR on high-fat diet-fed(HFD) rats in vivo were also assessed. Culture methods,quantitative polymerase chain reaction,and terminalrestriction fragment length polymorphism were used to analyze the effects of LR on gut bacteria. Biochemical tests were also performed to detect the changes in obesity-related indicators after LR treatment. RESULTS: LR treatment lowered adipose weight and decreased Lee's index,blood glucose,total cholesterol,and lipid in the tested groups relative to control(P < 0.05). To determine the reasons for these changes,we assessed the potential bacteriostatic and bactericidal effects of LR on specific bacterial species in vitro. LR affected the richness,diversity,and evenness of gut bacteria,increased fecal Lactobacillus,and decreased Enterococci in HFD rats(P < 0.05).
