1Mercury Emission From Coal-fired Power Plants in China显示文摘燃煤是最大的人为汞排放源之一,燃煤电厂的汞排放控制问题也越来越为人们所关注。该文将目前公布的中国电厂的汞排放数据进行筛选汇总,得到18个电厂的汞排放数据,通过对比和分析,总结出了符合我国燃煤电厂特点的一般性汞排放规律。结果表明:与美国煤种相比,我国的燃煤具有低氯、高灰的特性,这不利于汞的排放控制;循环流化床燃烧可能会因燃尽率的不同而较煤粉炉燃烧易获得较高的Hgp;空气污染控制设备的使用能够有效地减少汞排放,选择性催化还原+静电除尘器/布袋除尘器+石灰石-石膏湿法脱硫(SCR+ESP/FF+WFGD)组合的平均脱汞率可达71.48%;SCR的大规模应用可能会将汞大量转移到飞灰和脱硫石膏中,带来二次污染的问题。YIN Libao ZHUO Yuqun XU Qisheng ZHU Zhenwu DU Wen AN Zhongyi 2013中国电机工程学报2013,33,29:29
2The Qitai radio telescope显示文摘This study presents a general outline of the Qitai radio telescope(QTT)project.Qitai,the site of the telescope,is a county of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China,located in the east Tianshan Mountains at an elevation of about 1800 m.The QTT is a fully steerable,Gregorian-type telescope with a standard parabolic main reflector of 110 m diameter.The QTT has adopted an umbrella support,homology-symmetric lightweight design.The main reflector is active so that the deformation caused by gravity can be corrected.The structural design aims to ultimately allow high-sensitivity observations from 150 MHz up to115 GHz.To satisfy the requirements for early scientific goals,the QTTwill be equipped with ultra-wideband receivers and large field-of-view multi-beam receivers.A multi-function signal-processing system based on RFSo C and GPU processor chips will be developed.These will enable the QTT to operate in pulsar,spectral line,continuum and Very Long Baseline Interferometer(VLBI)observing modes.Electromagnetic compatibility(EMC)and radio frequency interference(RFI)control techniques are adopted throughout the system design.The QTT will form a world-class observational platform for the detection of lowfrequency(nano Hertz)gravitational waves through pulsar timing array(PTA)techniques,pulsar surveys,the discovery of binary black-hole systems,and exploring dark matter and the origin of life in the universe.The QTT will also play an important role in improving the Chinese and international VLBI networks,allowing high-sensitivity and high-resolution observations of the nuclei of distant galaxies and gravitational lensing systems.Deep astrometric observations will also contribute to improving the accuracy of the celestial reference frame.Potentially,the QTT will be able to support future space activities such as planetary exploration in the solar system and to contribute to the search for extraterrestrial intelligence.Na Wang Qian Xu Jun Ma Zhiyong Liu Qi Liu Hailong Zhang Xin Pei Maozheng Chen Richard N.Manchester Kejia Lee Xingwu Zheng Hans J.Kärcher Wulin Zhao Hongwei Li Dongwei Li Martin Süss Matthias Reichert Zhongyi Zhu Congsi Wang Mingshuai Li Rui Li Ning Li Guljaina Kazezkhan Wenming Yan Gang Wu Lang Cui Ming Zhang Haitao Li 2023Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2023,66,8:14

6Investigation of the Influence of Inclination Angle and Diffusion Angle on the Film Cooling Performance of Chevron Shaped Hole显示文摘The film cooling performance of chevron holes with different inclination angles and exit lateral diffusion angles has been studied experimentally and numerically. The inclination angles include 35° and 55°. The exit lateral diffusion angles include 20° and 25°. The film cooling effectiveness, heat transfer coefficient and discharge coefficient were measured on a flat plate model by transient liquid crystal measurement technique under four blowing ratios. The results show that the large inclination angle reduces the film cooling effectiveness. The influence of diffusion angle has two aspects: the large diffusion angle leads to mainstream ingestion and decreases film cooling effectiveness at M=1.0 and 1.5; however, the large diffusion angle increases the film cooling effectiveness at high blowing ratio of 2.0, because the larger hole exit area decreases the normal momentum component of the film jet. The large inclination angle decreases the heat transfer coefficient in the right downstream region at M=0.5 and 1.0. The large diffusion angle enhances the heat transfer in the right downstream of the holes in M=0.5~1.5 conditions. 7Experimental Investigation on the Effect of Mainstream Turbulence on Full Coverage Film Cooling Effectiveness for a Turbine Guide Vane显示文摘Experiments have been performed to investigate the effect of mainstream turbulence on the three-dimensional distribution of the full coverage film cooling effectiveness for two enlarged actual twisted vanes with cylindrical or shaped holes. The film cooling effectiveness was measured by transient liquid crystal technique at mainstream turbulence intensities of 2%, 9% and 15%. The mass flow rate ratios range from 5.5% to 12.5%. There are 3, 8 and 7 rows of film holes on the suction side, leading edge and pressure side, respectively. Results show that for the cylindrical hole vane the high mainstream turbulence intensity decreases the film cooling effectiveness in the top region and down region of pressure side in the low mass flow rate ratio of 5.5%, while the effect is opposite in the high mass flow rate ratio of 12.5%. The film cooling effectiveness in the middle region of pressure side decreases obviously with the increase of the turbulence at the low mass flow rate ratio of 5.5%, while the influence of increasing turbulence weakens gradually with the increase of mass flow rate ratio. Moreover, the high mainstream turbulence improves the film cooling effectiveness in the further downstream of the holes on suction side at the high mass flow rate ratio of 12.5%. For the shaped hole vane, the increase of mainstream turbulence decreases the film cooling effectiveness at all mass flow rate ratios. This study reveals the influence rule of the mainstream turbulence on the film cooling effectiveness in the different regions of the three-dimensional vane surface. 8Joint semiparametric mean-covariance model in longitudinal study显示文摘Semiparametric regression models and estimating covariance functions are very useful for longitudinal study. To heed the positive-definiteness constraint, we adopt the modified Cholesky decomposition approach to decompose the covariance structure. Then the covariance structure is fitted by a semiparametric model by imposing parametric within-subject correlation while allowing the nonparametric variation function. We estimate regression functions by using the local linear technique and propose generalized estimating equations for the mean and correlation parameter. Kernel estimators are developed for the estimation of the nonparametric variation function. Asymptotic normality of the the resulting estimators is established. 9Resistance to powdery mildew in the pea cultivar Xucai 1 is conferred by the gene er1显示文摘Powdery mildew, caused by Erysiphe pisi D.C., is a major constraint to pea production worldwide. The pea cultivar Xucai 1 has shown high resistance to E. pisi under greenhouse and field conditions. The objectives of this study were to identify and characterize genes conferring resistance to powdery mildew in Xucai 1. Three crosses, Qizhen 76 × Xucai 1,Bawan 6 × Xucai 1, and Xucai 1 × Bawan 6, were made to generate populations for genetic analysis. The resistance to E. pisi and segregation ratios in the F_1, F_2, and F_(2:3)populations suggested a single recessive gene conferring the resistance of Xucai 1. Bulked segregant analysis was used to map the resistance gene using two F2 populations. The resistance gene was close to markers AD60 and c5 DNAmet on linkage group VI with genetic distances of9.9 c M and 15.4 c M in the Xucai 1 × Bawan 6 F_2 population and 8.7 c M and 8.1 c M in the Qizhen 76 × Xucai 1 F_2 population, respectively, suggesting that the resistance gene was an er1 allele. This hypothesis was confirmed by comparison of the c DNA sequences of the Ps MLO1 gene between the parents and the Ps MLO1 wild type. Three distinct types of transcripts in Xucai 1, characterized by a 129-bp deletion and 155- and 220-bp insertions,were detected, consistent with the structure of the er1-2 allele. 10Organosulfur compounds induce cytoprotective autophagy against apoptosis by inhibiting mTOR phosphorylation activity in macrophages显示文摘Organosulfur compounds (OSCs)are the bioactive components of garlic.Some OSCs have apoptotic or autophagy-inducing effects.Autophagy plays roles in both cytoprotection and apoptosis-related cell death,and the interaction between autophagy and apoptosis is important in the modulation of immune responses.The mechanism of an OSC-mediated effect via the interaction of autophagy and apoptosis is unknown.In this study,the effects of five OSC compounds on autophagy in the macrophage cell line RAW264.7 and primary macrophages were investigated.We found that S-allylcysteine (SAC),diallyl disulde (DADS)and diallyl tetrasulfide (DTS)treatment increased the number of autophagosomes of RAW264.7 cells,inhibited the phosphorylation of ribosomal protein S6 kinase beta-1 (p70S6K/S6K1)which is a substrate of mammalian target of rapamycin (roTOR),and significantly enhanced autophagy flux.The induction of autophagy by SAC,DADS and DTS was inhibited by stably knocking down the expression of autophagy-related gene 5 (ATG5)with short hairpin RNA (shRNA).Further experiments confirmed that SAC,DADS and DTS also induced apoptosis in RAW264.7 cells.The induction of apoptosis and Caspase 3 activity by SAC,DADS and DTS were increased by stably knocking down of ATG5 expression with shRNA in RAW264.7 cells or treating with 5 mM 3-MA in primary macrophages.Our results suggest that SAC,DADS and DTS induce both autophagy and apoptosis.The autophagy induction protects macrophages from apoptosis by inhibiting mTOR phosphorylation activity to maintain the mass of immune cells.Yanyang Wu Yongquan Hu Haiyan Zhou Jiayu Zhu Zhongyi Tong Si Qin Dongbo Liu 2018Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2018,50,11:2
11Local asymptotic behavior of regression splines for marginal semiparametric models with longitudinal data显示文摘In this paper, we study the local asymptotic behavior of the regression spline estimator in the framework of marginal semiparametric model. Similarly to Zhu, Fung and He (2008), we give explicit expression for the asymptotic bias of regression spline estimator for nonparametric function f. Our results also show that the asymptotic bias of the regression spline estimator does not depend on the working covariance matrix, which distinguishes the regression splines from the smoothing splines and the seemingly unrelated kernel. To understand the local bias result of the regression spline estimator, we show that the regression spline estimator can be obtained iteratively by applying the standard weighted least squares regression spline estimator to pseudo-observations. 14rtcisE2F promotes the self-renewal and metastasis of liver tumorinitiating cells via N^(6)-methyladenosine-dependent E2F3/E2F6 mRNA stability显示文摘Liver cancer is highly heterogeneous,and the tumor tissue harbors a variety of cell types.Liver tumor initiating cells(TICs)well contribute to tumor heterogeneity and account for tumor initiation and metastasis,but the molecular mechanisms of liver TIC self-renewal are elusive.Here,we identified a functional read-through rt-circRNA,termed rtcisE2F,that is highly expressed in liver cancer and liver TICs.rtcisE2F plays essential roles in the self-renewal and activities of liver TICs.rtcisE2F targets E2F6 and E2F3 mRNAs,attenuates mRNA turnover,and increases E2F6/E2F3 expression.Mechanistically,rtcisE2F functions as a scaffold of N^(6)-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)reader IGF2BP2 and E2F6/E2F3 mRNA.rtcisE2F promotes the association of E2F6/E2F3 mRNAs with IGF2BP2,and inhibits their association with another m^(6)A reader,YTHDF2.IGF2BP2 inhibits E2F6/E2F3 mRNA decay,whereas YTHDF2 promotes E2F6/E2F3 mRNA decay.By switching m^(6)A readers,rtcisE2F enhances E2F6/E2F3 mRNA stability.E2F6 and E2F3 are both required for liver TIC self-renewal and Wnt/β-catenin activation,and inhibition of these pathways is a potential strategy for preventing liver tumorigenesis and metastasis.In conclusion,the rtcisE2F-IGF2BP2/YTHDF2-E2F6/E2F3-Wnt/β-catenin axis drives liver TIC self-renewal and initiates liver tumorigenesis and metastasis,and may provide a strategy to eliminate liver TICs.Zhenzhen Chen Lan Huang Kaili Wang Lulu Zhang Xiang Zhong Zhongyi Yan Benyu Liu Pingping Zhu 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,9:2
15Dynamic single-index model for functional data显示文摘We propose a new functional single index model, which called dynamic single-index model for functional data, or DSIM, to efficiently perform non-linear and dynamic relationships between functional predictor and functional response. The proposed model naturally allows for some curvature not captured by the ordinary functional linear model. By using the proposed two-step estimating algorithm, we develop the estimates for both the link function and the regression coefficient function, and then provide predictions of new response trajectories. Besides the asymptotic properties for the estimates of the unknown functions, we also establish the consistency of the predictions of new response trajectories under mild conditions.
