| 1 | Improved twin support vector machine显示文摘We improve the twin support vector machine(TWSVM)to be a novel nonparallel hyperplanes classifier,termed as ITSVM(improved twin support vector machine),for binary classification.By introducing the diferent Lagrangian functions for the primal problems in the TWSVM,we get an improved dual formulation of TWSVM,then the resulted ITSVM algorithm overcomes the common drawbacks in the TWSVMs and inherits the essence of the standard SVMs.Firstly,ITSVM does not need to compute the large inverse matrices before training which is inevitable for the TWSVMs.Secondly,diferent from the TWSVMs,kernel trick can be applied directly to ITSVM for the nonlinear case,therefore nonlinear ITSVM is superior to nonlinear TWSVM theoretically.Thirdly,ITSVM can be solved efciently by the successive overrelaxation(SOR)technique or sequential minimization optimization(SMO)method,which makes it more suitable for large scale problems.We also prove that the standard SVM is the special case of ITSVM.Experimental results show the efciency of our method in both computation time and classification accuracy. | TIAN YingJie JU XuChan QI ZhiQuan SHI Yong | 2014 | Science China Mathematics2014,57,2: | 5 |
| 2 | Influence of electric field on the quenched-in vacancy and solute clustering during early stage ageing of Al-Cu alloy显示文摘The effects of electric field on the evolution of excess quenched-in vacancy as well as solute clustering in Al-4wt%Cu alloy, and on the vacancy migration and formation enthalpy of pure aluminum were investigated, using positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy, high-angle annular dark-field scanning transmission electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, hardness measurement and four-probe electrical resistivity measurement. The results showed that the electric field improved age hardening response obviously and postponed the decay of excess vacancies for 30 min during the early stage ageing of Al-4wt%Cu alloy. A large number of 2–4 nm GP zones with dense distribution were observed after 1 min ageing with an electric field applied. The electric field-assisted-aged sample owned a lower coarsening rate of GP zone, which was about three fifths of that in the aged sample without an electric field, from 1 min to 120 min ageing. The electric field contributed 8% increase of the vacancy migration enthalpy(0.663 ± 0.021 e V) of pure Al, comparing with that(0.611 ± 0.023 e V) of pure Al without an electric field. | 10 | Integration of root architecture,root nitrogen metabolism,and photosynthesis of‘Hanfu’apple trees under the cross-talk between glucose and IAA显示文摘Sugars and auxin have important effects on almost all phases of plant life cycle,which are so fundamental to plants and regulate similar processes.However,little is known about the effect of cross-talk between glucose and indole-3-acetic acid(IAA)on growth and development of apple trees.To examine the potential roles of glucose and IAA in root architecture,root nitrogen(N)metabolism and photosynthetic capacity in‘Hanfu’(Malus domestica),a total of five treatments was established:single application of glucose,IAA,and auxin polar transport inhibitor(2,3,5-triiodobenzoic acid,TIBA),combined application of glucose with TIBA and that of glucose with IAA.The combined application of glucose with IAA improved root topology system and endogenous IAA content by altering the mRNA levels of several genes involved in root growth,auxin transport and biosynthesis.Moreover,the increased N metabolism enzyme activities and levels of genes expression related to N in roots may suggest higher rates of transformation of nitrate(NO3--N)into amino acids application of glucose and IAA.Contrarily,single application of TIBA decreased the expression levels of auxin transport gene,hindered root growth and decreased endogenous IAA content.Glucose combined with TIBA application effectively attenuated TIBA-induced reductions in root topology structure,photosynthesis and N metabolism activity,and mRNA expression levels involved in auxin biosynthesis and transport.Taken together,glucose application probably changes the expression level of auxin synthesis and transport genes,and induce the allocation of endogenous IAA in root,and thus improves root architecture and N metabolism of root in soil with deficit carbon. | Bianbin Qi Xin Zhang Zhiquan Mao Sijun Qin Deguo Lv | 2023 | Horticultural Plant Journal2023,9,4: | 1 |

| 17 | Edge crack damage analysis of AZ31 magnesium alloy hot-rolled plate improved by vertical roll pre-rolling显示文摘In the present study,through vertical roll pre-rolling of AZ31 magnesium alloy hot-rolled plate at room temperature,the effect of different vertical roll pre-rolling reduction on edge crack of the plate during flat rolling was systematically studied.The evolution of microstructure and texture in the edge and middle of the plate after vertical roll pre-rolling,heating and rolling was analyzed by using EBSD technology.The results show that during the vertical roll pre-rolling,{10–12}primary twins and{10–12}-{10–12}secondary twins dominated the edge deformation,while{10–12}primary twins dominated the middle deformation.With the increase of vertical roll pre-rolling reduction,the twin volume fraction of the edge and the middle increased,and the difference between them decreased gradually.After heating,the twin orientation caused by vertical roll pre-rolling was still maintained,and there was a significant difference in grain size between the edge and the middle.When the reduction rate of flat rolling was 30%,cracks have already appeared in the initial plate,while the vertical roll pre-rolled samples showed extremely high rolling performance.When the reduction rate of flat rolling was 50%,the 8PR sample still had no crack initiation.In addition,after flat rolling of 50%,the initial plate showed a strong basal texture,while the maximum pole density of the 8PR plate was small,and the texture distribution was very scattered,showing the characteristics of weak orientation. | Zhiquan Huang Chuanlu Qi Jinchao Zou Hongyu Lai Hao Guo Junpeng Wang | 2023 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2023,11,6: | 0 |

| 20 | Band convergence boosted high thermoelectric performance of Zintl compound Mg_(3)Sb_(2) achieved by biaxial strains显示文摘Mg_(3)Sb_(2) as a Zintl compound is a promising thermoelectric material with the intrinsically low lattice thermal conductivity and excellent n-type electrical properties,but its p-type electrical transport properties are poor.Here,the thermoelectric performance of Mg_(3)Sb_(2) under the effect of biaxial strain is investigated by using first-principles method and Boltzmann transport theory.The application of biaxial strain enables tuning the band structure of Mg_(3)Sb_(2) in such a way that the band degeneracy of both the conduction band and valence band increases.As the biaxial strain increases,the Seebeck coefficient of ptype Mg_(3)Sb_(2) has a remarkable increase,leading to a significant improvement in power factor.This is mainly ascribed to the achievement of valence band orbital degeneracy.Meanwhile,the lattice thermal conductivity exhibits very slight biaxial strain dependence within the strain range considered in this work,which increases from 1.28 to 1.62 W m^(-1) K^(-1) at 300 K.Finally,the highest ZT of p-type Mg_(3)Sb_(2) at 700 K can be up to 2.6 along the in-plane direction under-2.5%biaxial strain,which is almost three times that of the unstrained counterpart.The realization of high thermoelectric performance of p-type Mg_(3)Sb_(2) will promote its practical applications as thermoelectric generators. | Suiting Ning Shan Huang Ziye Zhang Ning Qi Man Jiang Zhiquan Chen Xinfeng Tang | 2022 | Journal of Materiomics2022,8,5: | 0 |
