1Two-Phase Rate Adaptation Strategy for Improving Real-Time Video QoE in Mobile Networks显示文摘With the popularity of smart handheld devices, mobile streaming video has multiplied the global network traffic in recent years. A huge concern of users' quality of experience(Qo E) has made rate adaptation methods very attractive. In this paper, we propose a two-phase rate adaptation strategy to improve users' real-time video Qo E. First, to measure and assess video Qo E, we provide a continuous Qo E prediction engine modeled by RNN recurrent neural network. Different from traditional Qo E models which consider the Qo E-aware factors separately or incompletely, our RNN-Qo E model accounts for three descriptive factors(video quality, rebuffering, and rate change) and reflects the impact of cognitive memory and recency. Besides, the video playing is separated into the initial startup phase and the steady playback phase, and we takes different optimization goals for each phase: the former aims at shortening the startup delay while the latter ameliorates the video quality and the rebufferings. Simulation results have shown that RNN-Qo E can follow the subjective Qo E quite well, and the proposed strategy can effectively reduce the occurrence of rebufferings caused by the mismatch between the requested video rates and the fluctuated throughput and attains standout performance on real-time Qo E compared with classical rate adaption methods.Ailing Xiao Jie Liu Yizhe Li Qiwei Song Ning Ge 2018China Communications2018,15,10:3
2Comparative permeability of three saikosaponins and corresponding saikogenins in Caco-2 model by a validated UHPLC-MS/MS method显示文摘Saikosaponins(SSs)are the main active components extracted from Bupleuri Radix(BR)which has been used as an important herbal drug in Asian countries for thousands of years.It has been reported that the intestinal bacteria plays an important role in the in vivo disposal of oral SSs.Although the deglycosylated derivatives(saikogenins,SGs)of SSs metabolized by the intestinal bacteria are speculated to be the main components absorbed into the blood after oral administration of SSs,no studies have been reported on the characteristics of SGs for their intestinal absorption,and those for SSs are also limited.Therefore,a rapid UHPLC-MS/MS method was developed to investigate and compare the apparent permeability of three common SSs(SSa,SSd,SSb2)and their corresponding SGs(SGF,SGG,SGD)through a bidirectional transport experiment on Caco-2 cell monolayer model.The method was validated according to the latest FDA guidelines and applied to quantify the six analytes in transport medium samples extracted via liquid-liquid extraction(LLE).The apparent permeability coefficient(Papp)determined in this study indicated that the permeability of SGs improved to the moderate class compared to the corresponding parent compounds,predicting a higher in vivo absorption.Moreover,the efflux ratio(ER)value demonstrated an active uptake of SSd and the three SGs,while a passive diffusion of SSa and SSb2.Siqi Ren Jingjing Liu Yunwen Xue Mei Zhang Qiwei Liu Jie Xu Zunjian Zhang Rui Song 2021Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2021,11,4:3
3Coupling of the chemical niche and microbiome in the rhizosphere:implications from watermelon grafting显示文摘Grafting is commonly used to overcome soilborne diseases. However, its effects on the rhizodeposits as well as the linkages between the rhizosphere chemical niche and microbiome remained unknown. In this paper,significant negative correlations between the bacterial alpha diversity and both the disease incidence(r = – 0.832,P = 0.005) and pathogen population(r = – 0.786, P = 0.012)were detected. Moreover, our results showed that the chemical diversity not only predicts bacterial alpha diversity but also can impact on overall microbial community structure(beta diversity) in the rhizosphere.Furthermore, some anti-fungal compounds including heptadecane and hexadecane were identified in the rhizosphere of grafted watermelon. We concluded that grafted watermelon can form a distinct rhizosphere chemical niche and thus recruit microbial communities with high diversity. Furthermore, the diverse bacteria and the antifungal compounds in the rhizosphere can potentially serve as biological and chemical barriers, respectively, to hinder pathogen invasion. 6A robust ethane-trapping metal-organic framework for efficient purification of ethylene显示文摘Owing to the similar physicochemical properties between ethane(C_(2)H_(6))and ethylene(C_(2)H_(4)),obtaining polymerization-grade C_(2)H_(4)(≥99.95%pure)is still a tricky problem in the petrochemical industry.Here,we report a robust scandium-based metalorganic framework(Sc BPDC),which is connected by oxygen-rich phenyl ligand with exceptionally high thermal stability(up to873 K)and capacity of C_(2)H_(6)(4.94 mmol/g at 100 k Pa and 283 K),exhibiting superior separation performance of C_(2)H_(6)/C_(2)H_(4) mixture(the IAST selectivity is up to 1.7 at 283 K).Importantly,Sc BPDC can produce 8.96 L/kg C_(2)H_(4) with≥99.99%purity while the C_(2)H_(4)/C_(2)H_(6)(50:50,v/v)as the mixture injection and the low isosteric heat of Sc BPDC(16.4 k J/mol for C_(2)H_(6))validates the facility of adsorbent regeneration.Furthermore,theoretical calculations demonstrate the C_(2)H_(6) molecules are trapped in the nonpolar pore surface via C–H···πand C–H···O interactions between multiple hydrogen atoms of C_(2)H_(6) and the host framework.Sisi Jiang Liangying Li Lidong Guo Changhua Song Qiwei Yang Zhiguo Zhang Yiwen Yang Qilong Ren Zongbi Bao 2021Science China Chemistry2021,64,4:1

10Hydrogen-bonded metal-nucleobase frameworks for highly selective capture of ethane/propane from methane and methane/nitrogen separation显示文摘The separation of light hydrocarbons,including C_(2)H_(6)and C_(3)H_(8),is essential to natural gas upgrading.Meanwhile,N_(2)removal from CH_(4)is also crucial to concentrating low-quality coalbed methane,but the adsorption process is challenging because of the close kinetic diameter.This work reports two hydrogen-bonded metal-nucleobase frameworks(HOF-ZJU-201 and HOF-ZJU202)capable of efficiently separating C_(3)H_(8)/CH_(4),C_(2)H_(6)/CH_(4),and CH_(4)/N_(2).Due to strong affinity for C_(3)H_(8)and C_(2)H_(6),the lowpressure capacity for C_(3)H_(8)(5 kPa)and C_(2)H_(6)(10 kPa)of HOF-ZJU-201a exceeds most adsorbents.The ideal adsorbed solution theory(IAST)selectivity of C_(3)H_(8)/CH_(4)and C_(2)H_(6)/CH_(4)is 119 and 45 at ambient conditions.According to density functional theory calculations,surface polarization environments formed by electron-rich anions and electron-deficient purine heterocyclic rings contribute to the selective capture of C_(3)H_(8)and C_(2)H_(6)with greater polarizability.Furthermore,the high CH_(4)adsorption capacity(1.73 mmol/g for HOF-ZJU-201a and 1.50 mmol/g for HOF-ZJU-202a at 298 K and 1.0 bar)and excellent CH_(4)/N_(2)selectivity(6.0 for HOF-ZJU-201 at 298 K),as well as dynamic breakthrough experiments of binary CH_(4)/N_(2)gas mixture implied their efficacy in the concentration of low-quality coalbed methane.Ying Liu Qianqian Xu Lihang Chen Changhua Song Qiwei Yang Zhiguo Zhang Dan Lu Yiwen Yang Qilong Ren Zongbi Bao 2022Nano Research2022,15,8:0
11Identification RAPD Markers Linked to Texture Quality of Chinese Cabbage显示文摘[Objectives] This study was conducted to identify the random amplification of polymorphic DNA( RAPD) markers linked to chewy texture-controlling gene of Chinese cabbage. [Methods]The RAPD markers associated with chewy texture of Chinese cabbage were identified via bulked segregant analysis( BSA) in an F2 population derived from the cross between Hua 273( female parent) and 114 Fushan( male parent). [Results] OPA06-1400 was identified to be linked to the chewy texture-controlling gene of Chinese cabbage. The genetic distance between the target gene and the RAPD marker was 24. 8 cM. 12Research on two-dimensional fluid vibration axial transmission path model of axial piston pump显示文摘High speed and high pressure can enhance the vibration of axial piston pump. A fluid vibration transmission law of axial piston pump is studied in this paper. According to harmonic response analysis results, a transmission path analysis is used to establish a two-dimensional fluid vibration transmission path model in the vertical plane, which has characteristics of multi excitation sources, multi-path and multi-receptors. Model parameters are obtained by experimental and numerical analysis. Matlab is used to solve the model, and acceleration vibration response of three shells is got. To reduce the effect of mechanical vibration, the surface acceleration of pump is tested under low speed condition. Results show that the model can accurately reveal transmission law of fluid vibration and the accuracy is more than 90%. 14Condition-based Maintenance Optimization for Gamma Deteriorating Systems under Performance-based Contracting显示文摘With the further development of service-oriented,performance-based contracting(PBC)has been widely adopted in industry and manufacturing.However,maintenance optimization problems under PBC have not received enough attention.To further extend the scope of PBC’s application in the field of maintenance optimization,we investigate the condition-based maintenance(CBM)optimization for gamma deteriorating systems under PBC.Considering the repairable single-component system subject to the gamma degradation process,this paper proposes a CBM optimization model to maximize the profit and improve system performance at a relatively low cost under PBC.In the proposed CBM model,the first inspection interval has been considered in order to reduce the inspection frequency and the cost rate.Then,a particle swarm algorithm(PSO)and related solution procedure are presented to solve the multiple decision variables in our proposed model.In the end,a numerical example is provided so as to demonstrate the superiority of the presented model.By comparing the proposed policy with the conventional ones,the superiority of our proposed policy is proved,which can bring more profits to providers and improve performance.Sensitivity analysis is conducted in order to research the effect of corrective maintenance cost and time required for corrective maintenance on optimization policy.A comparative study is given to illustrate the necessity of distinguishing the first inspection interval or not.Xi Zhu Liang Wen Juan Li Mingchang Song Qiwei Hu 2023Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2023,36,1:0
