1High molecular karyotype variation revealed in indigenous Elymus nutans in the Qinghai Plateau显示文摘The karyotypes of 27 individuals of Elymus nutans from eight wild populations in the Qinghai Plateau were analyzed using sequential FISH and GISH. High FISH pattern polymorphism and karyotype variation were detected within and among populations. The chromosome variations were mainly characterized as repeat deletions and amplifications along with inter-genomic translocations. The chromosomes of the St and Y genomes demonstrated higher polymorphism than those of the H genome. Six different intergenomic translocations were identified in 33.3% of individuals; type Ⅰ and Ⅱ translocations were detected with higher frequency. Further analysis revealed that type Ⅰ and Ⅱ translocations were distributed in different geographic regions. 2Curing Reaction Kinetics of Epoxy Resin Using Dicyandiamide Modified by Aromatic Amines显示文摘The curing reaction and reaction mechanism of epoxy resin E-44, for which aromatic amine modified dicyandiamide was used as a curing reagent, were investigated by means of differen-tial scanning calorimetry (DSC). The results showed that the modified dicyandiamide had better curing characteristic than un-modified dicyandiamide for epoxy resin E-44, and the curing reac-tion could be carried out at moderate temperature. Apparent acti-vation energy of the curing reaction was decreased appreciably from 123.829 kJ/mol to 61.550-64.405 kJ/mol, and reaction order was decreased from 0.941 to 0.896-0.900. 3Autophagy enhanced by curcumin ameliorates inflammation in atherogenesis via the TFEB-P300-BRD4 axis显示文摘Disturbance of macrophage-associated lipid metabolism plays a key role in atherosclerosis.Crosstalk between autophagy deficiency and inflammation response in foam cells(FCs) through epigenetic regulation is still poorly understood. Here, we demonstrate that in macrophages, oxidized lowdensity lipoprotein(ox-LDL) leads to abnormal crosstalk between autophagy and inflammation,thereby causing aberrant lipid metabolism mediated through a dysfunctional transcription factor EB (TFEB)-P300-bromodomain-containing protein 4(BRD4) axis. ox-LDL led to macrophage autophagy deficiency along with TFEB cytoplasmic accumulation and increased reactive oxygen species generation. This activated P300 promoted BRD4 binding on the promoter regions of inflammatory genes, consequently contributing to inflammation with atherogenesis. Particularly, ox-LDL activated BRD4-dependent super-enhancer associated with liquid-liquid phase separation(LLPS) on the regulatory regions of inflammatory genes. Curcumin(Cur) prominently restored FCs autophagy by promoting TFEB nuclear translocation, optimizing lipid catabolism, and reducing inflammation. The consequences of P300 and BRD4 on super-enhancer formation and inflammatory response in FCs could be prevented by Cur. Furthermore, the anti-atherogenesis effect of Cur was inhibited by macrophage-specific Brd4 overexpression or Tfeb knock-out in Apoe knock-out mice via bone marrow transplantation. 4Heat Recovery for Adsorption Refrigeration System via Pinch Technology显示文摘An adsorption refrigeration system can be driven by low grade heat and uses natural refrigerant with the advantage of reducing the greenhouse gases emission.However,one of the weaknesses is its low efficiency and more importantly its high cost.The recovery of internal waste heat becomes therefore very important in order to improve the coefficient of performance(COP).Analysis based on pinch technology can be helpful to optimal heat recovery operation.In this paper,temperature-heat diagrams and problem tables for adsorption refrigeration systems are proposed and analyzed using Pinch Technology.The results show that pinch point is located between beds and the main waste heat needs to be recovered between beds.Dynamic characteristic(time factor)of adsorption refrigeration system is the main resistance for heat recovery.The effect of pinch point temperature difference on the system COP is not distinct.Furthermore,when the driving temperature is 90°C,the COP of adsorption refrigeration via optimization of pinch analysis is 0.73 which is fairly comparable to Li Br-water absorption refrigeration system.Pinch Technology can be adopted in different types of adsorption refrigeration systems(two-bed,four-bed,mass recovery,et al.).PAN Quanwen SHAN He TAMAINOT-TELTO Zacharie WANG Ruzhu 2022Journal of Thermal Science2022,31,2:2

13Non-canonical STING-PERK pathway dependent epigenetic regulation of vascular endothelial dysfunction via integrating IRF3 and NF-κB in inflammatory response显示文摘Inflammation-driven endothelial dysfunction is the major initiating factor in atherosclerosis,while the underlying mechanism remains elusive.Here,we report that the non-canonical stimulator of interferon genes(STING)-PKR-like ER kinase(PERK)pathway was significantly activated in both human and mice atherosclerotic arteries.Typically,STING activation leads to the activation of interferon regulatory factor 3(IRF3)and nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB)/p65,thereby facilitating IFN signals and infammation.In contrast,our study reveals the activated non-canonical STING-PERK pathway increases scaffold protein bromodomain protein 4(BRD4)expression,which encourages the formation of super-enhancers on the proximal promoter regions of the proinflammatory cytokines,thereby enabling the transactivation of these cytokines by integrating activated IRF3 and NF-κB via a condensation process.Endothelium-specific STING and BRD4 deficiency significantly decreased the plaque area and inflammation.Mechanistically,this pathway is triggered by leaked mitochondrial DNA(mtDNA)via mitochondrial permeability transition pore(mPTP),formed by voltage-dependent anion channel 1(VDAC1)oligomer interaction with oxidized mtDNA upon cholesterol oxidation stimulation.Especially,compared to macrophages,endothelial STING activation plays a more pronounced role in atherosclerosis.We propose a non-canonical STING-PERK pathway-dependent epigenetic paradigm in atherosclerosis that integrates IRF3,NF-κB and BRD4 in inflammatory responses,which provides emerging therapeutic modalities for vascular endothelial dysfunction.Xuesong Li Xiang Chen Longbin Zheng Minghong Chen Yunjia Zhang Ruigong Zhu Jiajing Chen Jiaming Gu Quanwen Yin Hong Jiang Xuan Wu Xian Ji Xin Tang Mengdie Dong Qingguo Li Yuanqing Gao Hongshan Chen 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,12:1
14Lowing the energy loss of organic solar cells by molecular packing engineering via multiple molecular conjugation extension显示文摘The central unit(benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole) in Y6 series of molecules plays a determining role in their unique intermolecular packing for a three-dimensionally(3D) network, largely endowing their organic solar cells(OSCs) with so far the best power conversion efficiencies(PCEs) and also largely suppressed energy losses(Eloss). Despite its vital role in molecular packing, very few explorations for central unit have been conducted due to possibly the constructing challenge of central heterocyclic units.Herein, a highly efficient acceptor-donor-acceptor(A-D-A) type electron acceptor, CH17, has been designed and constructed,featured with a prominent π extension in both directions of the central and end units with respect to Y6 series. Such a multiple and much enhanced conjugation extension in CH17 enables a much more effective and compact 3D molecular packing compared with that of Y6 supported by X-ray single crystal and other analysis, mainly caused by a newly observed distinctive dual “end unit to central unit” packing mode. This much favorable molecular packing, also kept in its blends with donor materials, leads a larger electron and hole transfer integrals and hence much improved charge transport, and reduced energetic disorders in CH17blends. More importantly, the observed upshifted charge transfer(CT) state of CH17 blends compared with that of Y6, due to its increased molecular conjugation extension in both directions, further enhances the hybridization between its CT and local exciton(LE) states, resulting in higher luminescence efficiency, much suppressed non-radiative recombination loss and smaller Elosswith respect to that of Y6. Consequently, an excellent PCE of 17.84% is achieved with PM6 as the donor in a binary device compared with a PCE of 16.27% for the controlled Y6 device. Furthermore, a further improved PCE of 18.13% is achieved by CH17-based ternary single-junction OSCs along with a markedly reduced Elossof 0.49 e V and larger open-circuit voltage(Voc) of0.89 V, compared with that(16.27% of PCE, 0.85 V of Voc, and 0.53 e V of Eloss) of the control device using Y6.
