2Comparison on Adsorptive Separation of n-Paraffins Based on Binderless and Binder-containing Zeolite 5A Pellets显示文摘Binderless zeolite is considered to be a potential alternative for binder-containing zeolite in the industrial applications of adsorptive separation process. Synthesized binderless zeolite and commercial binder-containing product were used in adsorptive separation of n-paraffins from a model oil, with their performance compared. It is indicated that the binderless zeolite exhibits by 25%-35% higher in saturated adsorption capacity and by 115%-130% more adsorption amount at the breakthrough point with much shorter length of mass-transfer zone. Adsorptive separation of n-paraffins from naphtha was carried out in a fixed-bed adsorber containing the synthesized binderless zeolite 5 A under the operating conditions covering a feed space velocity of 90 h-1 and an adsorption temperature of 573 K. 9Single-phase formation mechanism and dielectric properties of sol-gel-derived Ba(Ti_(0.2)Zr_(0.2)Sn_(0.2)Hf_(0.2)Ce_(0.2))O_(3) high-entropy ceramics显示文摘Single-phase Ba(Ti_(0.2)Zr_(0.2)Sn_(0.2)Hf_(0.2)Ce_(0.2))O_(3)(BTZSHC) high-entropy ceramics(HECs) with the perovskite structure were successfully prepared via the sol-gel method.The results reveal that the as-prepared ceramics exhibit a single cubic phase belonging to the Pm3 m space group.The high entropy is the driving force of the formation of single-phase ceramics.A larger entropy(ΔS_(mix)) and a negative enthalpy(ΔH_(mix)) are conducive to the formation of single-phase compounds.Herein,ΔS_(mix)=0.323 R mole-1andΔH_(mix)=43.88 kJ/mol.The sluggish-diffusion effect ensures the thermal stability of high-entropy systems.Dielectric measurements reveal that the as-prepared BTZSHC high-entropy ceramics are relaxor ferroelectrics,and the degree of relaxor(γ) is 1.9.The relaxor behavior of the as-prepared ceramics can be ascribed to the relaxation and thermal evolution of their polar units(PUs).The findings of this work provide a theoretical basis and technical support for the preparation of single-phase high-entropy ceramics.Jia Liu Cuiying Ma Lianli Wang Ke Ren Hongpei Ran Danni Feng Huiling Du Yiguang Wang 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,35:0
10Large-scale identification of expression quantitative trait loci in Arabidopsis reveals novel candidate regulators of immune responses and other processes显示文摘The extensive phenotypic diversity within natural populations of Arabidopsis is associated with differences in gene expression.Transcript levels can be considered as in-heritable quantitative traits,and used to map expression quantitative trait loci(eQTL)in genome-wide association studies(GWASs).In order to identify putative genetic de-terminants for variations in gene expression,we used pub-licly available genomic and transcript variation data from 665 Arabidopsis accessions and applied the single nucleotide polymorphism-set(Sequence)Kernel Association Test(SKAT)method for the identification of eQTL.Moreover,we used the penalized orthogonal-components regression(POCRE)method to increase the power of statistical tests.Then,gene annotations were used as test units to identify genes that are associated with natural variations in transcript accumulation,which correspond to candidate regulators,some of which may have a broad impact on gene ex-pression.Besides increasing the chances to identify real as-sociations,the analysis using POCRE and SKAT significantly reduced the computational cost required to analyze large datasets.As a proof of concept,we used this approach to identify eQTL that represent novel candidate regulators of immune responses.The versatility of this approach allows its application to any process that is subjected to natural var-iation among Arabidopsis accessions.Xingang Wang Min Ren Danni Liu Dabao Zhang Cuijun Zhang Zhaobo Lang Alberto PMacho Min Zhang Jian-Kang Zhu 2020Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020,62,10:0
