| 4 | Profile and development of microsatellite primers for Acanthogobius ommaturus based on high-throughput sequencing technology显示文摘Acanthogobius ommaturus,a fish species of the Family Gobiidae,is a marine commercial fish perched on the bottom of seawater.In this study,Illumina high-throughput sequencing technology was applied to obtain the candidate microsatellite markers of A.ommaturus.A total of 4746 microsatellite-rich fragments were found,of which 4542 microsatellites are with primer fragments,containing 971 dinucleotide sequences,2643 trinucleotide sequences,569 tetranucleotide sequences,406 pentanucleotide sequences,and 212 hexanucleotide sequences.Based on the results of high-throughput sequencing,a total of 141 pairs of the microsatellite primers were designed and screened.And then 24 polymorphic primers were finally obtained by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.In total,271 alleles were detected in the 24 pairs of primers.The number of alleles for different primers ranged from 5 to 19.The average number of effective alleles(Na)was 11.292;the average observed heterozygosity(Ho)of the 24 pairs of primers was 0.665,the average expected heterozygosity(He)was 0.880,and the average polymorphic information content was 0.846.All sites were highly polymorphic(PIC>0.50). | SONG Chenyu FENG Ziyi LI Chunhou SUN Zhicheng GAO Tianxiang SONG Na LIU Lu | 2020 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,6: | 1 |

| 8 | Protective effects and mechanisms of Lizhong decoction(理中汤) against non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in a rat model显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the protective effects and molecular mechanisms of Lizhong decoction( 理中汤, LZD) against non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD). METHODS: Male Wistar rats were fed a high-fat diet for four weeks to induce NAFLD, and were administered LZD by gavage for four weeks. Potential therapeutic targets for NAFLD were analyzed using network pharmacology. Liver pathology was evaluated using Oil Red O and hematoxylin-eosin staining. Furthermore, mitochondrial function, lipid metabolism, oxidative stress, and inflammatory response were examined. RESULTS: Rats with NAFLD exhibited high levels of hepatic damage and cholesterol deposition. Moreover, apoptosis was increased, superoxide dismutase and glutathione content were reduced, malondialdehyde content was increased, and the protein expression of inflammatory cytokines and p-c-Jun N-terminal kinase was increased. The LZD treatment ameliorated mitochondrial dysfunction, reduced liver damage,inhibited oxidative stress and inflammatory response, upregulated peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor(PPAR)-γ expression, and suppressed dipeptidyl peptidase 4(DPP4) expression in the liver. | 10 | Discordant patterns of genetic variation between mitochondrial and microsatellite markers in Acanthogobius ommaturus across the coastal areas of China显示文摘Acanthogobius ommaturus, which belongs to the family Gobiidae, is a euryhaline and demersal fish that is widely distributed in the coastal areas, harbors, and estuaries of China, D. P. R. Korea and Japan. In this study, the genetic diversity and genetic structure of five geographical populations of A. ommaturus was assessed using the mitochondrial hypervariable region gene and microsatellite markers. The results of the two genetic markers indicated that the A. ommaturus populations had a high level of genetic diversity. The mitochondrial marker detected weak genetic differentiation among populations, and the Neighbor-Joining tree showed that there was no obvious pedigree branches and geographic structure as well. However, population of Zhoushan showed significant genetic differentiation with other populations by microsatellite markers. The population of A.ommaturus has not experienced bottleneck effect recently. The hubs of high degrees are mostly the genes of apoptosis. | 14 | Monitoring Surface Water Change in Northeast China in 1999–2020:Evidence from Satellite Observation and Refined Classification显示文摘As a typical region with high water demand for agricultural production,understanding the spatiotemporal surface water changes in Northeast China is critical for water resources management and sustainable development.However,the long-term variation characteristics of surface water of different water body types in Northeast China remain rarely explored.This study investigated how surface water bodies of different types(e.g.,lake,reservoir,river,coastal aquaculture,marsh wetland,ephemeral water) changed during1999–2020 in Northeast China based on various remote sensing-based datasets.The results showed that surface water in Northeast China grew dramatically in the past two decades,with an equivalent area increasing from 24 394 km^(2) in 1999 to 34 595 km^(2) in 2020.The surge of ephemeral water is the primary driver of surface water expansion,which could ascribe to shifted precipitation pattern.Marsh wetlands,rivers,and reservoirs experienced a similar trend,with an approximate 20% increase at the interdecadal scale.By contrast,coastal aquacultures and natural lakes remain relatively stable.This study is expected to provide a more comprehensive investigation of the surface water variability in Northeast China and has important practical significance for the scientific management of different types of surface water. | LIU Kai ZHANG Dapeng CHEN Tan CUI Peipei FAN Chenyu SONG Chunqiao | 2024 | Chinese Geographical Science2024,34,1: | 0 |
| 15 | Reconstructing Centennial-Scale Water Level of Large Pan-Arctic Lakes Using Machine Learning Methods显示文摘The pan-Arctic region has the largest number of lakes in the world,which is rather sensitive to changing climate.It is urgently needed to understand how these lakes were changing in the long term.However,there are few lakes with long-term historical monitoring of water level,understanding the hydrologic changes of pan-Arctic lakes over the past century requires the data reconstruction by state-of-art techniques.This study used machine learning algorithms to reconstruct the water level of pan-Arctic lakes on a centennial scale.It further investigated their relationship with long-term hydrological and climatic variables.Comparison of the reconstructed results by four different machine learning models shows that the extreme gradient boosting tree(XGBoost) is better than other three models.Overall,the centennial-scale reconstruction using the XGBoost model performs best for most study lakes.Based on the reconstructed results,we can observe that water level changes of several North American lakes are correlated with potential evapotranspiration,followed by precipitation,while the Eurasian lakes are more strongly associated with temperature and wet day frequency.The water level dynamics of pan-Arctic lakes could be largely attributed to Arctic Oscillation and Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation.This study is expected to advance our understanding of the pan-Arctic lake water level changes in the past century and to provide a feasible method for reconstructing the regional lake water level in the long term. | Xinge Liang Chunqiao Song Kai Liu Tan Chen Chenyu Fan | 2023 | Journal of Earth Science2023,34,4: | 0 |

| 17 | Wheat bran inclusion level impacts its net energy by shaping gut microbiota and regulating heat production in gestating sows显示文摘An accurate estimation of net energy(NE)of wheat bran is essential for precision feeding of sows.However,the effects of inclusion level on NE of wheat bran have not been reported.Inclusion level was hypothesized to impact NE of wheat bran by regulating gut microbiota and partitioning of heat production.Therefore,twelve multiparous sows(Yorkshire×Landrace;2 to 4 parity)were assigned to a replicated 3×6 Youden square with 3 successive periods and 6 diets in each square.The experiment included a corn-soybean meal diet(WB0)and five diets including 9.8%(WB10),19.5%(WB20),29.2%(WB30),39.0%(WB40)and 48.7%wheat bran(WB50),respectively.Each period included 6 d of adaptation to diets followed by 6 d for heat production measurement using open-circuit respiration chambers.Compared with other groups,WB30,WB40,and WB50 enriched different fiber-degrading bacteria genera(P<0.05).Apparent total tract digestibility of neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber of wheat bran were greater in WB30 and WB40(P<0.05).Physical activity(standing and sitting)decreased as inclusion level increased(P=0.04),which tended to decrease related heat production(P=0.07).Thermic effect of feeding(TEF)was higher in WB50 than other treatments(P<0.01).Metabolizable energy of wheat bran was similar among treatment groups(except for WB10).NE of wheat bran conformed to a quadratic regression equation with inclusion level(R^(2)=0.99,P<0.01)and peaked at an inclusion level of 35.3%.In conclusion,increasing inclusion level decreased energy expenditure of sows on physical activity and promoted growth of fiber-degrading bacteria,which improved energy utilization of fiber.Fermentation of wheat bran fiber by Prevotellaceae_UCG-003 and norank_f_Paludibacteraceae might increase TEF.Consequently,sows utilized energy in wheat bran most efficiently at an inclusion level of 35.3%. | Song Xu Zirou Yu Zongliang Li Zijie Wang Chenyu Shi Jian Li Fenglai Wang Hu Liu | 2023 | Animal Nutrition2023,,4: | 0 |
