| 1 | Simulation of groundwater table dynamics based on Feflow in the Minqin Basin,China显示文摘As groundwater table declination is an important factor resulting in degradation of eco-environment in the Minqin Basin,China,it is significant to investigate and understand the groundwater table dynamics in this area. According to the physical and geographical conditions of the Minqin Basin,a hydrogeological conceptual model and a mathematical model were established,and the mathematical model was figured out by using Finite Element subsurface Flow system(Feflow).Accurate hydrogeological parameters were acquired,and the spatio-temporal distribution dynamics of groundwater table for 1983–2001 were also simulated.The model performed well with a correlation coefficient of 0.977 and a mean error of 0.9768 m.The inflow and outflow of the groundwater system were predicted by time series analysis,and the groundwater table dynamics for 2011 were further acquired.Generally the groundwater table in the Minqin Basin would continue to decline.The groundwater table would decline during spring and summer irrigation,while it would rise during autumn-winter irrigation.The groundwater depression cones would expand with the increase of center depths.Therefore,regulatory measures should be taken to prevent the declination of groundwater table and improve the eco-environment of this area. | Lan MA XiaoMei WEI AnMing BAO ShiFei WANG | 2012 | Journal of Arid Land2012,4,2: | 5 |
| 2 | Mitochondrial localization of ORF346 causes pollen abortion in alloplasmic male sterility显示文摘The Nsa cytoplasmic male sterility(CMS) system confers stable male sterility and offers great potential for production of hybrid seeds in oilseed rape. However, genes responsible for male sterility in Nsa CMS have not been identified. By mitochondrial genome sequencing of Nsa CMS and its maintainer line,we identified in an Nsa CMS line several chimeric genes encoding hypothetical proteins harboring transmembrane domains. One novel chimeric gene orf346 showed high identity with cox1 at the 50 terminal region and was co-transcribed with nad3 and rps12 genes. Transgenic plants of orf346 fused with or without mitochondrial targeting peptide conferred complete male sterility in Arabidopsis. ORF346 was mitochondrion-localized. Expression of orf346 in Escherichia coli inhibited bacterial growth, with excessive accumulation of reactive oxygen species and decreased ATP content. These results reveal a link between the newly identified mitochondrial gene orf346 and the abortion of Nsa CMS. | 3 | Development of a model to generate a risk map in a building fire显示文摘Fire simulations and sensors are widely used in building fires,various data such as temperature,CO and CO2 concentration,visibility can be obtained by sensors and sensor-based simulation. It is important to generate a risk map based on such data so that we can use it to estimate safety of the building. In this paper,we propose a method to generate a dynamical,integrated risk map using sensor readings in a building fire. Such risk evaluation model is developed using similarity comparison between the space state and dangerous state by a likelihood distance calculating and data grouping from a two-step cluster method. The risk evaluation model considers the integrated influence on the occupants in the zone from high temperature,lack of oxygen,toxic and harmful gases and shows the relative fire risk map at certain time. | 4 | Kinetics of oxidation of dimethyl trisulfide by potassium permanganate in drinking water显示文摘Metabolites of algae such as geosmin, 2- methylisoborneol etc. are reported to induce pungent odors into drinking water and attract additional scientifc attention. Recently, in China, taste and odor outbreaks in drinking water supply have become increasingly common. In source water affected by eutrophication, dimethyl trisulfide, speculated to be produced by decayed algae, was found to be the source of taste and odor issues and can be removed effectively by usual oxidation agents. In this experimental study, batch scale tests were carried out focusing on the removal of dimethyl trisulfide. Reaction kinetics of dimethyl trisulfide oxidized by potassium permanganate in water had been studied; influence factors such as pH, organic substrate, other existed taste, and odor contaminant in equivalent concentration were also dis- cussed. Results showed that dimethyl trisulfide can be removed by potassium permanganate efficiently; the ratio can reach more than 70% with oxidant dosage of 4 mg. L~ and contact time prolonged to 120 min. The dimethyl trisulfide decomposition followed a second-order kinetics pattern with a rate constant k -- 0.00213 L.(min.mg)-1. Typically, the degradation rate of dimethyl trisulfide was increased with the increasing KMnO4 dosage, but dramatically dropped with the increasing levels of humic acid (1.8-4.5 mg. L-1) and other odor-causing compounds (e.g. fl-cyclocitral, 0-1886.0 pg.L-1). Solution pH (5.2- 9.0) and initial dimethyl trisulfide concentration did not significantly affected the degradation. | 5 | Possibility of women treated with fertility-sparing surgery fornon-epithelial ovarian tumors to safely and successfully becomepregnant--a Chinese retrospective cohort study among 148cases显示文摘This study was performed to evaluate the oncological and reproductive outcomes of childbearing-agewomen treated with fertility-sparing surgery (FSS) for non-epithelial ovarian tumors in China. One hundred andforty eight non-epithelial ovarian tumor women treated with FSS between January I, 2000 and August 31, 2015from two medical centers in China were identified. Progression-free survival (PFS) was 88.5%, whereas overallsurvival (OS) was 93.9%. Univariate analysis suggested that delivery after treatment is related to PFS (P = 0.023),whereas histology significantly influenced OS. Cox regression analysis suggested that only histology was associatedwith PFS and OS (P 〈 0.05). Among the 129 women who completed adjuvant chemotherapy (ACT), nonedeveloped amenorrhea. Among the 44 women who desired pregnancy, 35 (79.5%) successfully had 51 gestationsincluding 35 live births without birth defects. Non-epithelial ovarian tumors can achieve fulfilling prognosis afterFSS and chemotherapy. Histology might be the only independent prognostic factor for PFS and OS. FSS followedby ACT appeared to have little or no effect on fertility. Meanwhile, postoperative pregnancy did not increase thePFS or OS. | 7 | Reconstruction clipping of ruptured anterior circulation aneurysms via supraorbital lateral keyhole approach显示文摘Background:Intracranial aneurysm(IA)is a serious disease.Analyze and review the cases of anterior circulation ruptured IA by supraorbital lateral keyhole approach,and summarize the experiences of this approach.Methods:Retrospective analysis of 16 cases of ruptured anterior circulation IA in our department from January 2019 to June 2020,CT angiography(CTA)was performed before operation.Analyzing the IA’s parameters by 3D-CT reconstruction.The IA was clipped by supraorbital lateral keyhole approach combined with the 3D-skull reconstruction.Extraventricular drainage was performed before craniotomy.Intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring was performed during the operation.After operation,fluorescein angiography and vascular ultrasound were performed to check the clipping effect.Intracranial pressure monitor was performed postoperatively.CTA was reexamined one week after operation.The modified Rankin Scale(MRS)was performed 6 months after operation.Results:There were 7 males(43.8%)and 9 females(56.2%),and the average age is 52.31±11.12 years old.Among them,11 patients(68.8%)were anterior communicating artery aneurysms and 5(31.2%)were middle cerebral artery aneurysms.All patients were out of hospital within 10 days without any death,without cerebral infarction,cerebrospinal fluid leakage and neurological impairments.About mRS score,after 6 months follow-up,8 cases(50%)had 0 point,4 cases(25%)had 1 point,and 4 cases(25%)had 2 points.Conclusions:For ruptured anterior circulation IA,the supraorbital lateral keyhole approach combined with ventricular drainage,intraoperative electrophysiological monitoring,and intraoperative vascular ultrasound is a safe and minimally invasive treatment.The application of reconstruction clipping can reconstruct the diameter of parent vessel and reduce the recurrence rate of IA. | Yuzhang Wu Yan Zhao Shengping Yu Fan Li Shifei Cai Chao Peng Zhen Wang Yifan Yang Bangyue Wang Xinyu Yang | 2022 | Chinese Neurosurgical Journal2022,8,2: | 2 |
| 8 | Determination of Henry's Law constant for methyl hydroperoxide by long path FTIR显示文摘Methyl hydroperoxide (MHP, CH 3OOH) is one of the main organic peroxides in the atmosphere. In order to understand how MHP partitions in atmospheric gas and liquid phases, the Henry’s Law constant for its aqueous solution is determined. A novel technique is established for measuring gas phase MHP concentration, i.e. the gas phase is collected by a gas bag and then analyzed by long path Fourier transform infrared (LP FTIR) spectrometry. At 283 K~303 K, the temperature dependence of the Henry’s Law constant for MHP can be expressed as ln K H= a/T-b , a =4386±140, b =9.19±0.48, where K H is in unit of molar concentration per atm, and T is in degrees Kelvin. | 9 | Full-Stokes polarization transformations and time sequence metasurface holographic display显示文摘With the development of micro/nano fabrication technology, metasurface holography has emerged as a revolutionary technology for the manipulation of light with excellent performance. However, for applications of full-Stokes polarization encryption and time sequence holographic display, multiplexing strategies of metasurfaces with large bandwidths and simple operations still need to be developed. As one of the most popular schemes of multiplexing, polarization multiplexed metasurfaces have shown flexible recording abilities for both free-space beam and surface waves. Here, by using a dielectric metasurface equipped with double phase holograms, we have achieved flexible polarization multiplexed transformations from one full-Stokes space to another. The vectorial hologram is optimized by a hybrid genetic algorithm and digitalized with subwavelength modulated units. Based on a quantitative map and remarkable information capacity, time sequence holographic display and complex optical encryption are experimentally demonstrated by changing input/output polarization channels in real time. | 16 | Intelligent Passive Detection of Aerial Target in Space-Air-Ground Integrated Networks显示文摘Passive detection of moving target is an important part of intelligent surveillance. Satellite has the potential to play a key role in many applications of space-air-ground integrated networks(SAGIN). In this paper, we propose a novel intelligent passive detection method for aerial target based on reservoir computing networks. Specifically, delayed feedback networks are utilized to refine the direct signals from the satellite in the reference channels. In addition, the satellite direct wave interference in the monitoring channels adopts adaptive interference suppression using the minimum mean square error filter. Furthermore, we employ decoupling echo state networks to predict the clutter interference in the monitoring channels and construct the detection statistics accordingly. Finally, a multilayer perceptron is adopted to detect the echo signal after interference suppression. Extensive simulations is conducted to evaluate the performance of our proposed method.
