2The enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP显示文摘In this paper we present the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP. eXTP is a space science mission designed to study fundamental physics under extreme conditions of density, gravity and magnetism. The mission aims at determining the equation of state of matter at supra-nuclear density, measuring effects of QED, and understanding the dynamics of matter in strong-field gravity. In addition to investigating fundamental physics, eXTP will be a very powerful observatory for astrophysics that will provide observations of unprecedented quality on a variety of galactic and extragalactic objects. 3Genomic variants of genes associated with three horticultural traits in apple revealed by genome re-sequencing显示文摘The apple(Malus×domestica Borkh.)cultivar‘Su Shuai’exhibits greater disease resistance,shorter internodes and lighter fruit flavor compared with its parents‘Golden Delicious’and‘Indo’.To obtain a comprehensive overview of the sequence variation in these three horticultural traits,the genomes of‘Su Shuai’and‘Indo’were resequenced using next-generation sequencing and compared to the genome of‘Golden Delicious’.A wide range of genetic variations were detected,including 2454406 and 18749349 single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)and 59547 and 50143 structural variants(SVs)in the‘Indo’and‘Su Shuai’genomes,respectively.Among the SVs in‘Su Shuai’,17 genes related to disease resistance,10 genes related to Gibberellin(GA)and 19 genes associated with fruit flavor were identified.The expression patterns of eight of the SV genes were examined using reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR).The results of this study illustrate the genomic variation in these cultivars and provide evidence for a genetic basis for the horticultural traits of disease resistance,short internodes and lighter flavor exhibited in these cultivars.These results provide a genetic basis for the phenotypic characteristics of‘Su Shuai’and,as such,these SVs could serve as gene-specific molecular markers in maker-assisted breeding of apples.Shijie Zhang Weiping Chen Lu Xin Zhihong Gao Yingjun Hou Xinyi Yu Zhen Zhang Shenchun Qu 2014Horticulture Research2014,1,1:5
4Skull metastasis revealing a papillary thyroid carcinoma显示文摘Although thyroid carcinoma is a relatively common form of malignancy,metastatic spread to the skull is rare.Here,we report a case of papillary thyroid carcinoma with frontal and parietal metastasis.A61-year-old Chinese woman presented with a one year history of a growing mass on the center of the frontal and parietal bone,initially thought to be meningioma.Biopsy of the skull base mass after intracalvarium excision,indicated a tumor of thyroid origin.One month later the patient underwent a total thyroidectomy.Pathological examination confirmed a diagnosis of papillary thyroid carcinoma with frontal and parietal bone metastasis.Based on this experience,the key to successful management of the skull metastasis of thyroid carcinoma is prompt diagnosis and appropriate treatment.Skull metastasis should be considered at the outset of the clinical course of papillary thyroid cancer.To facilitate this,patients should be meticulously investigated by a multidisciplinary team to improve quality of life.Xi Li Ge Zhao Yong Zhang Kui Ding Hui Cao Dehua Yang Jian Zhang Zhiquan Duan Shijie Xin 2013Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2013,25,5:2
5Rationally designed Ta_(3)N_(5)/BiOCl S-scheme heterojunction with oxygen vacancies for elimination of tetracycline antibiotic and Cr(Ⅵ):Performance,toxicity evaluation and mechanism insight显示文摘S-scheme heterojunction photocatalysts have been the“stars”in the field of photocatalysis.Herein,a novel S-scheme heterojunction of Ta_(3)N_(5)/BiOCl with oxygen vacancies(OVs)was fabricated via a facile method.The charge separation and transport mechanism of this Ta_(3)N_(5)/BiOCl S-scheme heterojunction was verified by the analyses of band energy structures,active species,photoelectric behaviors and DFT theoretical calculation.Compared with Ta_(3)N_(5)and BiOCl,the Ta_(3)N_(5)/BiOCl unveils substantially upgraded photocatalytic property under visible light,and the photocatalytic efficiency for removal of tetracycline(TC)and hexavalent chromium(Cr(VI))reaches 89.6%and 91.6%,respectively.The substantial enhancement of the photocatalytic activity is attributed to the synergistic effect of the S-scheme hetero-structure and oxygen vacancies,which improves the visible-light absorption,while promoting the spatial separation of charge carriers with the optimum redox capacity,thereby boosting the production of active species for catalytic reactions.The TC degradation pathway is deduced and the toxicity evolution of TC is appraised using the QSAR method.In a nutshell,this work gives a deep understanding of the photocatalytic mechanism based on Ta_(3)N_(5)/BiOCl as well as presents a newfangled thought for developing highly efficient S-scheme heterojunction photocatalysts for water decontamination.Shijie Li Mingjie Cai Chunchun Wang Yanping Liu Neng Li Peng Zhang Xin Li 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,28:2

7Dual-Functional Organotelluride Additive for Highly Efficient Sulfur Redox Kinetics and Lithium Regulation in Lithium–Sulfur Batteries显示文摘High energy density and low cost made lithium–sulfur(Li–S)batteries appealing for the next-generation energy storage devices.However,their commercial viability is seriously challenged by serious polysulfide shuttle effect,sluggish sulfur kinetics,and uncontrollable dendritic Li growth.Herein,a dual-functional electrolyte additive,diphenyl ditelluride(DPDTe)is reported for Li–S battery.For sulfur cathodes,DPDTe works as a redox mediator to accelerate redox kinetics of sulfur,in which Te radical-mediated catalytic cycle at the solid–liquid interface contributes significantly to the whole process.For lithium anodes,DPDTe can react with lithium metal to form a smooth and stable organic–inorganic hybrid solid-electrolyte interphase(SEI),enabling homogeneous lithium deposition for suppressing dendrite growth.Consequently,the Li–S battery with DPDTe exhibits remarkable cycling stability and superb rate capability,with a high capacity up to 1227.3 mAh g^(-1)and stable cycling over 300 cycles.Moreover,a Li–S pouch cell with DPDTe is evaluated as the proof of concept.This work demonstrates that organotelluride compounds can be used as functional electrolyte additives and offers new insights and opportunities for practical Li–S batteries.Wei Zhang Fenfen Ma Qiang Wu Ziqi Zeng Wei Zhong Shijie Cheng Xin Chen Jia Xie 2023Energy & Environmental Materials2023,6,3:1

10Gradient wettability induced by deterministically patterned nanostructures显示文摘We report a large-scale surface with continuously varying wettability induced by ordered gradient nanostructures.The gradient pattern is generated from nonuniform interference lithography by utilizing the Gaussian-shaped intensity distribution of two coherent laser beams.We also develop a facile fabrication method to directly transfer a photoresist pattern into an ultraviolet(UV)-cured high-strength replication molding material,which eliminates the need for high-cost reactive ion etching and e-beam evaporation during the mold fabrication process.This facile mold is then used for the reproducible production of surfaces with gradient wettability using thermal-nanoimprint lithography(NIL).In addition,the wetting behavior of water droplets on the surface with the gradient nanostructures and therefore gradient wettability is investigated.A hybrid wetting model is proposed and theoretically captures the contact angle measurement results,shedding light on the wetting behavior of a liquid on structures patterned at the nanoscale.Siyi Min Shijie Li Zhouyang Zhu Wei Li Xin Tang Chuwei Liang Liqiu Wang Xing Cheng Wen-Di Li 2020Microsystems & Nanoengineering2020,6,1:1

12Managed grassland alters soil N dynamics and N2O emissions in temperate steppe显示文摘Reclamation of degraded grasslands as managed grasslands has been increasingly accelerated in recent years in China. Land use change affects soil nitrogen(N) dynamics and nitrous oxide(N_2O) emissions. However, it remains unclear how large-scale grassland reclamation will impact the grassland ecosystem as a whole. Here, we investigated the effects of the conversion from native to managed grasslands on soil N dynamics and N_2O emissions by field experiments in Hulunber in northern China. Soil(0–10 cm), nitrate(NO_3^-),ammonium(NH_4^+), and microbial N were measured in plots in a temperate steppe(Leymus chinensis grassland) and two managed grasslands(Medicago sativa and Bromus inermis grasslands) in 2011 and 2012. The results showed conversion of L. chinensis grassland to M.sativa or B. inermis grasslands decreased concentrations of NO_3~–-N, but did not change NH_4~–N . Soil microbial N was slightly decreased by the conversion of L. chinensis grassland to M.sativa, but increased by the conversion to B. inermis. The conversion of L. chinensis grassland to M. sativa(i.e., a legume grass) increased N_2O emissions by 26.2%, while the conversion to the B. inermis(i.e., a non-legume grass) reduced N_2O emissions by 33.1%. The conversion from native to managed grasslands caused large created variations in soil NO?3^-+–N and NH_4~–N concentrations. Net N mineralization rates did not change significantly in growing season or vegetation type, but to net nitrification rate. 15Enhanced antibiotic degradation performance of Cd_(0.5)Zn_(0.5)S/Bi_(2)MoO_(6) S-scheme photocatalyst by carbon dot modification显示文摘S-scheme heterojunction engineering is an effective strategy to attain distinctive photocatalysts.Herein,a carbon dots modulated S-scheme hetero-structured photocatalyst of Cd_(0.5)Zn_(0.5)S nanoparticles/Bi_(2)MoO_(6) microspheres/carbon dots (CZCBM),aiming to conquer the photo-corrosion and strengthen the photocatalytic property of Cd_(0.5)Zn_(0.5)S,was developed via a facile solvothermal route.Under visible light,the optimal CZCBM-2 affords a 1.8-,1.5-,or 0.6-time reinforcement in the oxytetracycline degradation rate constant compared to Bi_(2)MoO_(6),Cd_(0.5)Zn_(0.5)S or Cd_(0.5)Zn_(0.5)S/Bi_(2)MoO_(6),which is credited to the strengthened visible-light response,increased reactive sites,and efficient dissolution of photo-carriers with optimal redox capacity because of the co-effect of carbon dots and S-scheme heterostructure.Significantly,the photo-corrosion of Cd_(0.5)Zn_(0.5)S is significantly suppressed and CZCBM-2 affords superior stability and reusability during cycling tests.Besides,CZCBM-2 can be well adapted to various environments.The toxicology appraisement unravels the decreased eco-toxicity of most intermediates compared to oxytetracycline.Lastly,an S-scheme charge transfer mechanism with carbon dots as electron reservoir in CZCBM is deduced,which uncloses that •O_(2)− and h+ dominantly account for oxytetracycline eradication and detoxification.This study demonstrates the design of unique carbon dots favored S-scheme heterostructures as an effective “Two Birds with One Stone” strategy to achieve high anti-photo-corrosion performance and reinforced photocatalytic performance of sulfides.Shijie Li Ruyu Yan Mingjie Cai Wei Jiang Mingyi Zhang Xin Li 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,33:0
16Effects of Different Treatments on Decay Rate of Lapins Sweet Cherry显示文摘[Objective] This paper was to study the effects of different treatments on decay rate of Lapins sweet cherry.[Method] The effects of MAP packaging, 1-MCP tablet and It’s Fresh ethylene adsorbent paper, fludioxonil and natamycin on decay rate of Lapins sweet cherry stored at 0℃ were observed.[Result] MAP packaging significantly reduced the decay rate of sweet cherry. After stored for 30 d, MAP+1-MCP tablet, MAP+It’s Fresh ethylene adsorbent paper, MAP+200 μL/L fludioxonil and MAP+0.3% natamycin did not significantly reduce the decay rate of sweet cheery. 18Experimental study of free abrasive wire sawing by using multi-strands wire显示文摘Grains in the slurry can be brought into cutting zone by steel wire with a certain speed to achieve the purpose of removing the workpiece material in the free abrasive wire sawing machining. Because its own of multistrands characteristics,we use it to replace the steel wire to do slicing experiment. In this paper,multi- strands wire is made by seven metal wires and has many grooves on its surface. Compared with steel wire,it can carry more grains into cutting zone which is conducive to improving the slicing efficiency. We do some comparative slicing experiments by applying multi-strands wire( 0.25 mm) and steel wire( 0.25 mm) to cut optical glass(K9). 20Source diagnostic and weathering indicators of oil spills utilizing bicyclic sesquiterpanes显示文摘Bicyclic Sesquiterpanes (BSs) are ubiquitous components of crude oils and ancient sediments. BSs in crude oils and diesel oil were identified and characterized, the effects of moderate weathering on BS distributions were discussed, and a methodology using diagnostic indices of BSs was developed for oil correlation and differentiation. The results showed that crude oils and oil products had different abundances and distributions of BSs and, consequently, resulted in different diagnostic ratios. The selected diagnostic ratio indices of BSs, such as BS4/BS5 (ratio of 4,4,8,9,9-pentamethyl-decahydronaphthalene to 8β (H)-drimane), BS6/BS5 (ratio of 4,4,9,9,10-pentamethyl-decahydronaphthalene to 8β (H)-drimane), BS8/BS9 (ratio of the second peak to the third peak of C 16 sequiterpane), and BS8/BS10 (ratio of C 16 sequiterpane to 8β (H)-homodrimane), still maintained better stabilities (%RSD < 5%) after weathering for 30 d. The longer weathering process (150 d) had some effect on such ratios (5% < %RSD < 10%).
