1Antibacterial effects of platelet-rich fibrin produced by horizontal centrifugation显示文摘Platelet-rich fibrin(PRF)has been widely used owing to its ability to stimulate tissue regeneration.To date,few studies have described the antibacterial properties of PRF.Previously,PRF prepared by horizontal centrifugation(H-PRF)was shown to contain more immune cells than leukocyte-and platelet-rich fibrin(L-PRF).This study aimed to compare the antimicrobial effects of PRFs against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli in vitro and to determine whether the antibacterial effects correlated with the number of immune cells.Blood samples were obtained from eight healthy donors to prepare L-PRF and H-PRF.The sizes and weights of L-PRF and H-PRF were first evaluated,and their antibacterial effects against S.aureus and E.coli were then tested in vitro using the inhibition ring and plate-counting test methods.Flow-cytometric analysis of the cell components of L-PRF and H-PRF was also performed.No significant differences in size or weight were observed between the L-PRF and H-PRF groups.The H-PRF group contained more leukocytes than the L-PRF group.While both PRFs had notable antimicrobial activity against S.aureus and E.coli,H-PRF demonstrated a significantly better antibacterial effect than L-PRF.Furthermore,the antimicrobial ability of the PRF solid was less efficient than that of wet PRF.In conclusion,H-PRF exhibited better antibacterial activity than L-PRF,which might have been attributed to having more immune cells.Mengge Feng Yulan Wang Peng Zhang Qin Zhao Shimin Yu Kailun Shen Richard J.Miron Yufeng Zhang 2020International Journal of Oral Science2020,12,4:12
2PRINCIPLES OF RIVER TRAINING AND MANAGEMENT显示文摘River regulation and river training have been performed for various purposes and negative effects have been shown in numerous cases. In some cases the negative effects are so serious that humans have to consider to 'renaturalize' the regulated rivers. Only by using the strategy of integrated river management the diverse river uses and natural fluvial processes and ecological systems may be harmonized. Based on analysis of case studies and data collected from literatures this paper presents the concept of integrated river management and four principles of river training. The integrated river management comprises: 1) taking the watershed, upper stream basin including the tributaries, middle and lower reaches and the estuary as an integrated entity in the planning, design and management; and 2) mitigating or controlling the negative impacts on hydrology, erosion and sedimentation, fluvial processes, land use and river use, environment and ecology while in achieving economic benefit from water resources development, flood safety management and hydropower exploitation. River training and management should be in accordance with the four principles: 1) extending the duration of river water flowing on the continent, which may be achieved by extending the river course or reducing the flow velocity; 2) controlling various patterns of erosions and reducing the sediment transportation in the rivers; 3) increasing the diversity of habitat and enhancing the connectivity between the river and riparian waters; and 4) restoring natural landscapes.Zhaoyin WANG Shimin TIAN Yujun YI Guoan YU 2007International Journal of Sediment Research2007,22,4:7
3Three-dimensional porous composite framework assembled withCuO microspheres as anode current collector for lithium-ionbatteries显示文摘The surface structure and material composition of current collectors have significant effects on the electrochemical performances of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs). In this work, a three-dimensional(3D) porous composite framework is applied as the anode current collector in LIBs. This unique 3D skeleton is composed of conductive carbon fiber/Cu core/shell fibrous structure. With an oxidation treatment upon the copper shell, the porous framework is assembled with CuO microspheres. Using mesocarbon microbead(MCMB) graphite powders as the active material, the cell with this 3D porous composite current collector shows an improved reversible discharge-charge capacity of 415 mAh g^(–1) at a current rate of 0.1 C after 50 cycles, which is much higher than that of the cell with a flat Cu foil(127 mAh g^(–1)). 4Enhanced growth of crystalline-amorphous core-shell silicon nanowires by catalytic thermal CVD using in situ generated tin catalyst显示文摘In this work,we prepared silicon nanowires(Si NWs) on both fluorine-doped SnO 2(FTO) coated glass substrate and common glass substrate by catalytic thermal chemical vapor deposition(CVD) using indium film as the catalyst.It is confirmed that indium can catalyze the growth of Si NWs.More importantly,we found that tin generated in situ from the reduction of SnO 2 by indium can act as catalyst,which greatly enhances the growth of Si NWs on FTO substrate.The obtained Si NWs have a uniform crystalline-amorphous core-shell structure that is formed via vapor-liquid-solid and vapor-solid growth of silicon sequentially.This work provides a strategy to prepare Si NWs in high yield by catalytic thermal CVD using the low melting point metal catalysts.CHENG ShiMin REN Tong YING PinLiang YU Rui ZHANG WenHua ZHANG Jian LI Can 2012Science China Chemistry2012,55,12:1

7StarIn:An Approach to Predict the Popularity of GitHub Repository显示文摘The popularity of repository in GitHub is an important indicator to evaluate its quality.Exploring the trend of popularity is a crucial guideline to study its development potential.Herein,StarIn,a stargazer-influence based approach is proposed to predict the popularity of GitHub repository.Using the followers in GitHub as a basic dataset,stargazer-following based network was established.The indicator,stargazer influence,was measured from three aspects of basic influence,network dynamic influence and network static influence.Experiments was conducted,and the correlation of StarIn was analyzed with the popularity of repository from the perspective of six characteristics.The experimental evaluation provides an interesting approach to predict the popularity of repositories in GitHub from a new perspective.StarIn achieves an excellent performance of predicting the popularity of repositories with a high accurate rate under two different classifiers.Leiming Ren Shimin Shan Xiujuan Xu Yu Liu 2020国际计算机前沿大会会议论文集2020,,2:0

11Swarming magnetic photonic-crystal microrobots withon-the-fly visual pH detection and self-regulated drug delivery显示文摘Swarming magnetic micro/nanorobots hold great promise for biomedical applications,but at present suffer from inferior capabilities to perceive and respond to chemical signals in local microenvironments.Here we demonstrate swarming magnetic photonic crystal microrobots(PC-bots)capable of sponta-neously performing on-the-fly visual pH detection and self regulated drug delivery by perceiving local pH changes.The magnetic PC-bots consist of pH-responsive hydrogel microspheres with encapsulated one-dimensional periodic assemblies of Fe3O4 nanoparticles.By programming extemnal rotating magnetic fields,they can self-organize into large swarms with much-enhanced collective velocity to actively find targets while shining bright“blinking”structural colors.When approaching the target with abnormal pH conditions(e.g.an ulcerated superficial tumor lesion),the PC-bots can visualize local pH changes on the fly via pH-responsive structural colors,and realize self-regulated release of the loaded drugs by recognizing local pH.This work facilita tes the develop-ment of intelligent micro/nanorobots for active“motile-targeting”tumor diag-nosis and treatment.Zheng Yu Luolin Li Fangzhi Mou Shimin Yu Di Zhang Manyi Yang Qing Zhao Huiru Ma Wei Luo Tianlong Li Jianguo Guan 2023InfoMat2023,5,10:0
12Crystal growth,structure and laser performance of a new Yb^(3+):KBaY(MoO_(4))_(3) crystal显示文摘A Yb^(3+):KBaY(MoO_(4))_(3)(Yb^(3+):KBYM)crystal with dimensions of 51 mm×27 mm × 10 mm was successfully grown by the TSSG method.The characteristics of the crystal structure and probability of good optical properties were analyzed.The absorption and emission spectra of Yb^(3+):KBYM crystal exhibit broadened bands,with the maximum absorption cross-sections of 1.17 × 10^(-20),1.44×10^(-20) and 1.37 × 10^(-20) cm^(2) at976 nm for X-,Y-and Z-polarizations,respectively.The corresponding absorption FWHMs are as wide as 77,46 and 55 nm.The well-known re-absorption effect of Yb^(3+) in the crystal is discussed.Two methods,the Fiichtbauer-Ladenburg method(FL)and reciprocity method(RM)were adopted to compute the emission cross-sections and results show a certain discrepancy but the errors are allowable.The laser potentiality of the Yb^(3+):KBYM crystal was also evaluated by calculations of minimum inversion fractionβmin,saturation pump intensity Isat,the minimum pump intensity Imin and gain cross-sections spectra.Laser experiment was carried out and Watt-level continuous wave laser has been realized.Results indicate that the Yb^(3+):KBYM crystal with a disordered structure may be a potential laser media that can be used to generate tunable and ultrashort pulse laser emissions with high quality beam.Yi Yu Shimin Wu Xiurong Zhu Xianke Zhang Huajun Yu Jujun Yuan Na Xu Yu Dong Yeqing Wang 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,10:0
13Auto Machine Learning Assisted Preparation of Carboxylic Acid by TEMPO-Catalyzed Primary Alcohol Oxidation显示文摘Though alcohol oxidations were considered as well-established reactions,selecting productive conditions or predicting reaction yields for unseen alcohols remained as major challenges.Herein,an auto machine learning(ML)model for TEMPO-catalyzed oxida-tion of primary alcohols to the corresponding carboxylic acids is disclosed.A dataset of 3444 data,consisting of 282 primary alco-hols and 45 conditions,were generated using high-throughput experimentation(HTE).With the HTE data and 105 descriptors,a multi-label prediction was performed with AutoGluon(an open-source auto machine learning framework)and KNIME(an open-source data analytics platform).For the independent test of 240 reactions(a full matrix of 20 unseen alcohols and 12 condi-tions),AutoGluon with multi-label prediction for yield prediction(AGMP)gave excellent performance.For external test of 1308 re-actions(consisting of 84 alcohols and 45 conditions),AGMP still afforded good results with R2 as 0.767 and MAE as 4.9%.The model also revealed that the newly generated descriptor(Y/N,classification of the reaction reactivity)was the most relevant descriptor for yield prediction,offering a new perspective to integrate HTE and ML in organic synthesis.Jia Qiu Yougen Xu Shimin Su Yadong Gao Peiyuan Yu Zhixiong Ruan Kuangbiao Liao 2023Chinese Journal of Chemistry2023,41,2:0
14Hypoxia induces mitochondrial protein lactylation to limit oxidative phosphorylation显示文摘Oxidative phosphorylation(OXPHOS)consumes oxygen to produce ATP.However,the mechanism that balances OXPHOS activity and intracellular oxygen availability remains elusive.Here,we report that mitochondrial protein lactylation is induced by intracellular hypoxia to constrain OXPHOS.We show that mitochondrial alanyl-tRNA synthetase(AARS2)is a protein lysine lactyltransferase,whose proteasomal degradation is enhanced by proline 377 hydroxylation catalyzed by the oxygen-sensing hydroxylase PHD2.Hypoxia induces AARS2 accumulation to lactylate PDHA1 lysine 336 in the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex and carnitine palmitoyltransferase 2(CPT2)lysine 457/8,inactivating both enzymes and inhibiting OXPHOS by limiting acetyl-CoA influx from pyruvate and fatty acid oxidation,respectively.PDHA1 and CPT2 lactylation can be reversed by SIRT3 to activate OXPHOS.In mouse muscle cells,lactylation is induced by lactate oxidation-induced intracellular hypoxia during exercise to constrain high-intensity endurance running exhaustion time,which can be increased or decreased by decreasing or increasing lactylation levels,respectively.Our results reveal that mitochondrial protein lactylation integrates intracellular hypoxia and lactate signals to regulate OXPHOS.Yunzi Mao Jiaojiao Zhang Qian Zhou Xiadi He Zhifang Zheng Yun Wei Kaiqiang Zhou Yan Lin Haowen Yu Haihui Zhang Yineng Zhou Pengcheng Lin Baixing Wu Yiyuan Yuan Jianyuan Zhao Wei Xu Shimin Zhao 2024Cell Research2024,34,1:0

16Research on robot grabbing system based on hybrid cloud显示文摘Robot grabbing has been successfully applied to a range of challenging environments but met the resource bottleneck. To answer this question, a hybrid cloud-based robot grabbing system is proposed, which supports centralized bin-picking management and deployment, large-scale storage, and communication technologies. The hybrid cloud combines the powerful computational capabilities through massive parallel computation and higher data storage facilities in the public cloud with data privacy in the private data center.
