1Improvement of wheat drought and salt tolerance by expression of a stress- inducible transcription factorGmDREB of soybean (Glycinemax)显示文摘Under stress conditions such as droughthigh-salinity and low-temperature, the transcription factorof DREB (dehydration responsive element binding proteins)improved efficiently stress resistance by regulating the ex-pression of its downstream genes with various environmentastress resistance in plants. GmDREB gene (GenBank Acces-sion No. AF514908) encoding a stress-inducible transcriptionfactor was cloned by screening a cDNA library of Glycinemax cv. Jinong 27 with yeast one-hybrid method. GmDREBgene was 910 bp in length and encoded 174 amino acids con-taining a conserved AP2/EREBP DNA-binding domain of 58amino acids. Two conserved functional amino acids, valineand glutamic acid, were located on the 14th and the 19thamino acid residues in the conserved structural domain. Analkaline amino acid region (KKR) related to a nuclear local-ization signal was at the N-terminal, while an acidic aminoacid region (DDD) related to trans-activation was at theC-terminal. Plant expression vectors were constructed andtransformed into wheat by bombardment. In total, 13 trans-genic plants with Ubi::GmDREB and 11 transgenic plantswith rd29A::GmDREB were identified from 103 regenerationplants by molecular analysis. The drought and salt tolerancesof T1 transgenic lines with Ubi::GmDREB orrd29A::GmDREB were demonstrated to be improved ascompared to wild type. 2Eco-environment range in the source regions of the Yangtze and Yellow rivers显示文摘Based on geographical and hydrological extents delimited, four principles are identified, as the bases for delineating the ranges of the source regions of the Yangtze and Yellow rivers in the paper. According to the comprehensive analysis of topographical characteristics, climate conditions, vegetation distribution and hydrological features, the source region ranges for eco-environmental study are defined. The eastern boundary point is Dari hydrological station in the upper reach of the Yellow River. The watershed above Dari hydrological station is the source region of the Yellow River which drains an area of 4.49×10 4 km 2 . Natural environment is characterized by the major topographical types of plateau lakes and marshland, gentle landforms, alpine cold semi-arid climate, and steppe and meadow vegetation in the source region of the Yellow River. The eastern boundary point is the convergent site of the Nieqiaqu and the Tongtian River in the upstream of the Yangtze River. The watershed above the convergent site is the source region of the Yangtze River, with a watershed area of 12.24×10 4 km 2 . 3Novel roll effector based on zero-mass-flux dual synthetic jets and its flight test显示文摘The autonomous and controllable Dual Synthetic Jet Actuator(DSJA)is firstly integrated into the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV),and flight tests without the deflection of rudders are carried out to verify the viability of DSJA to control the attitudes of UAV during cruising.DSJA is improved into an actuator with two diaphragms and three cavities,which has higher energy levels.Actuators,differentially distributed on both sides of the wings,are installed on the trailing edge close to the wing tips.Flight tests,containing Differential Circulation Control(DCC)using double-side actuators,Positive Circulation Control(PCC)using left-side actuators and Negative Circulation Control(NCC)using right-side actuators,are implemented at cruising speed of 25 m/s.Results show that roll attitude control without rudders could be realized by DSJAs.DCC and NCC can generate the rightward roll and yaw angular velocity,prompting UAV to turn right.The stronger controlling ability can be achieved by DCC,with the maximum roll angular velocity of 15.62(°)/s.PCC can generate a rightward roll moment,but a leftward yaw moment will be produced at the same time.Leftward yaw induces the leftward rolling moment,which weakens the roll control effect,making UAV keep to yaw to the left with a small slope.Zhenbing LUO Zhijie ZHAO Jiefu LIU Xiong DENG Mu ZHENG Hang YANG Qingyang CHEN Shiqing LI 2022Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,8:7

5Doping bioactive elements into a collagen scaffold based on synchronous self-assembly/mineralization for bone tissue engineering显示文摘Pure collagen is biocompatible but lacks inherent osteoinductive,osteoimmunomodulatory and antibacterial activities.To obtain collagen with these characteristics,we developed a novel methodology of doping bioactive elements into collagen through the synchronous self-assembly/mineralization(SSM)of collagen.In the SSM model,amorphous mineral nanoparticles(AMN)(amorphous SrCO3,amorphous Ag3PO4,etc.)stabilized by the polyampholyte,carboxymethyl chitosan(CMC),and collagen molecules were the primary components under acidic conditions.As the pH gradually increased,intrafibrillar mineralization occurred via the self-adaptive interaction between the AMNs and the collagen microfibrils,which were self-assembling;the AMNs wrapped around the microfibrils became situated in the gap zones of collagen and finally transformed into crystals.Srdoped collagen scaffolds(Sr-CS)promoted in vitro cell proliferation and osteogenic differentiation of rat bone marrow mesenchymal stromal cells(rBMSCs)and synergistically improved osteogenesis of rBMSCs by altering the macrophage response.Ag-doped collagen scaffolds(Ag-CS)exhibited in vitro antibacterial effects on S.aureus,as well as cell/tissue compatibility.Moreover,Sr-CS implanted into the calvarial defect of a rat resulted in improved bone regeneration.Therefore,the SSM model is a de novo synthetic strategy for doping bioactive elements into collagen,and can be used to fabricate multifunctional collagen scaffolds to meet the clinical challenges of encouraging osteogenesis,boosting the immune response and fighting severe infection in bone defects.Huanhuan Liu Mingli Lin Xue Liu Ye Zhang Yuyu Luo Yanyun Pang Haitao Chen Dongwang Zhu Xue Zhong Shiqing Ma Yanhong Zhao Qiang Yang Xu Zhang 2020Bioactive Materials2020,5,4:6

7Effect of Li+ ion concentration on upconversion emission and temperature sensing behavior of La2O3:Er3+ phosphors显示文摘The effects of Li^+ co-doping concentration on the structure, upconversion luminescence and temperature sensing behavior of Er^(3+):La_2O_3 phosphors were investigated. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy observations reveal that Li^+ ion co-doping can change the lattice parameter of La_2O_3 host and increase the particle size of the samples. The optical investigation shows that co-doping of Li^+ ions can enhance the upconversion emission of Er^(3+) ions in La_2O_3 matrix effectively. Most importantly, the temperature sensing sensitivity of the samples is found to be dependent on Li^+ co-doping concentration,when the emission intensity ratio of the(~2H_(11/2)→~4 I_(15/2)) and(~4 S_(3/2)→~4 I_(15/2)) transitions of Er^(3+) is chosen as the thermometric index. Both of the optimum upconversion luminescence and temperature sensing sensitivity are obtained for 7 mol% Li^+ co-doped sample. 9Comparison of clinical outcomes of Chinese men and women after coronary stenting for coronary artery disease:a multi-center retrospective analysis of 4,334 patients显示文摘The outcome differences between Chinese male and female patients within one-year follow-up after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI) with stent remain unclear.The present study was aimed to compare clinical outcomes in such two populations.From May 1999 to December 2009,4,334 patients with acute myocardial infarction(MI),unstable angina,stable angina,or silent ischemia,who underwent PCI,were registered at our centers.Among these,3,089 were men and 1,245 were women.We compared these groups with respect to the primary outcomes of MI and secondary outcomes including a composite of major adverse cardiac events(MACE) including cardiac death,MI,target lesion revascularization,target vessel revascularization(TVR),stent thrombosis(ST),definite ST and probable ST at one-year follow-up.Chinese male patients had a higher MACE rate(13%vs.10.7%,P =0.039),mainly led by TVR(9.09%vs.6.98%,P=0.024) at one year,which was significantly different than female patients.Chinese male and female patients showed a significant difference on MACEs.However,there was no significant difference with respect to MI between these groups.Rajiv Shrestha Jing Xu Dujiang Xie Zhizhong Liu Tian Xu Fei Ye Shiqing Din Xuesong Qian Song Yang Yueqiang Liu Feng Li Aiping Zhang Shaoliang Chen 2014The Journal of Biomedical Research2014,28,5:3
10Understanding the spatial representativeness of air quality monitoring network and its application to PM_(2.5)in the China's Mainland显示文摘Air pollution has seriously endangered human health and the natural ecosystem during the last decades.Air quality monitoring stations(AQMS)have played a critical role in providing valuable data sets for recording regional air pollutants.The spatial representativeness of AQMS is a critical parameter when choosing the location of stations and assessing effects on the population to long-term exposure to air pollution.In this paper,we proposed a methodological framework for assessing the spatial representativeness of the regional air quality monitoring network and applied it to ground-based PM_(2.5)observation in the mainland of China.Weighted multidimensional Euclidean distance between each pixel and the stations was used to determine the representativeness of the existing monitoring network.In addition,the K-means clustering method was adopted to improve the spatial representativeness of the existing AQMS.The results showed that there were obvious differences among the representative area of 1820 stations in the mainland of China.The monitoring stations could well represent the PM_(2.5)spatial distribution of the entire region,and the effectively represented area(i.e.the area where the Euclidean distance between the pixels and the stations was lower than the average value)accounted for 67.32%of the total area and covered 93.12%of the population.Forty additional stations were identified in the Northwest,North China,and Northeast regions,which could improve the spatial representativeness by 14.31%.Ling Su Chanchan Gao Xiaoli Ren Fengying Zhang Shanshan Cao Shiqing Zhang Tida Chen Mengqing Liu Bingchuan Ni Min Liu 2022Geoscience Frontiers2022,13,3:3
11Thermal and luminescent properties of 2 μm emission in thulium-sensitized holmium-doped silicate-germanate glass显示文摘In this paper, we present the luminescent properties of Tm^(3+)∕Ho^(3+)co-doped new glass. A series of silicategermanate glass was prepared by the conventional melt-quenching method. In the Tm^(3+)∕Ho^(3+)co-doped silicategermanate glass, a strong emission of 2 μm originating from the Ho^(3+):~5I_7→~5I_8transition can be observed under conventional 808 nm pumping. The characteristic temperatures, structure, and absorption spectra have been measured. The radiative properties of Ho^(3+)in the prepared glass were calculated. The emission cross section of Ho^(3+)ions transition can reach 4.78 × 10^(-21)cm^2 around 2 μm, and the FWHM is as high as 153 nm. The energy transfer efficiency between Ho^(3+)and Tm^(3+)has a large value(52%), which indicates the Tm^(3+)∕Ho^(3+)co-doped silicategermanate glass is a suitable candidate for the 2 μm laser. 13Spectral and Lasing Properties of Er^(3+0/Yb^(3+) Co-Doped Phosphate Glasses Pumped by LD显示文摘Er~ 3+/Yb~ 3+ phosphate glasses were fabricated. According to McCumber theory, the stimulated emission cross-section of Er~ 3+ ions at 1533 nm was calculated on the basis of absorption spectrum, and 0.84×10~ -20 cm^2 is derived, the fluorescence lifetime of ~4I_ 13/2 level is 8.5 ms. An Er~ 3+/Yb~ 3+ co-doped phosphate glass CW laser pumped by LD was demonstrated at room temperature. 15Paleomagnetism and paleoclimate change in the South China Sea since the late Pleistocene显示文摘Signal processing techniques of cross-correlation, power spectral analysis and cross-power spectral analysis are used to determine the relationships between paleomagnetic properties and the oxygen isotope record of the South China Sea during the late Pleistocene. On the basis of correlation tests between the δ18O time series of cores V3 and A15 with the paleomagnetic properties of core SCS01, five events of susceptibility and intensity of natural remanent magnetization are identified as glacial events corresponding to δ18O positive events. 16Coastal Environmental Changes and Management in China in the Context of Global Changes and Human Activities显示文摘Coastal zone is the complex area with intense sea-land interaction. There are various types, complex environments and developed economy in coastal area of China. Under the influence of global change and human activities, the ecosystem of coastal zone is vulnerable and has sensitive response to environment changes. The environmental problems of sea-level rising have attached close attention by countries all over the world. As far as regions concerned, relative sea-level rising is more important than theoretical sea-level rising. The relative sea-level rising has resulted in series of environment disasters in coastal area of China, such as coastal erosion, seawater invasion, and floods in coastal lowlands, etc. The flux of sediments transported by rivers into sea is the main material source of marine pollution. The human activities are controlling factors of variations in river sediment loads. Under the influence of high strength development in the upstream region, the results are that the reduction of seagoing sediments in main rivers of China, and damage of coastal material balance. Land-based pollution is the main source of marine pollution. With rapid economic development in China s eastern coastal, pollutants flux into sea increase gradually. The results are that the environmental quality and seawater quality of marine have being deteriorated and pollution is serious increasingly. To meet the land demand of industrialization and urbanization, the sea reclamation has become an effective means to alleviate the contradiction between human and land in coastal area of China. This leads to large-scale reduction of coastal wetland area, and the heavy losses of ecological service value of coastal wetland. To face the environmental changes in coastal area of China and solve the contradiction among population, resources, environment, development, it is required to set up the system concept of man-land-sea relationship, so as to achieve sustainable development. 17Investigation on Upconversion Luminescence of Tm^(3+)/Yb^(3+)-Codoped Oxychloride Tellurite Glasses显示文摘Tm 3+/Yb 3+-codoped oxychloride tellurite glasses were prepared. Thermal stability, Raman spectra and upconversion luminescence spectra were studied, and upconversion luminescence mechanisms were analyzed. The results show that the intense blue and relatively weak red emissions centered at 476 and 649 nm corresponding to the transitions 1G4→3H6 and 1G4→3H4 of Tm 3+, respectively, were simultaneously observed at room temperature under 980 nm LD excitation.
