1Satellite remote sensing of changes in NO_x emissions over China during 1996-2010显示文摘Satellite derived NO2 column data have been used to study Chinese national fossil fuel consumption and pollutant emissions.Based on NO 2 retrievals from two satellites (GOME and SCIAMACHY) for 1996-2010,we analyzed the characteristics and evolution of regional pollution related to NO x emissions in China.Satellite observations indicated that the highly polluted regions were expanding.Anthropogenic emission dominated areas have expanded from the east to central and western China,and new highly polluted regions have formed throughout the nation.Bottom-up emission estimates suggested a 133% increase in anthropogenic NOx emissions in East Central China during 1996 to 2010,which was lower than the 184% increase of the NO2 columns measured by the satellites.We found that growth rates of NOx emissions have slowed in Chinese megacities over recent years,in contrast to which,the NOx emissions were soaring in medium-sized cities,indicating that strict controls of NOx emissions from coal-fired facilities are required in China.ZHANG Qiang GENG GuanNan WANG SiWen RICHTER Andreas HE KeBin 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,22:43
2Satellite UV-Vis spectroscopy:implications for air quality trends and their driving forces in China during 2005-2017显示文摘Abundances of a range of air pollutants can be inferred from satellite UV-Vis spectroscopy measurements by using the unique absorption signatures of gas species.Here,we implemented several spectral fitting methods to retrieve tropospheric NO_(2),SO_(2),and HCHO from the ozone monitoring instrument(OMI),with radiative simulations providing necessary information on the interactions of scattered solar light within the atmosphere.We analyzed the spatial distribution and temporal trends of satellite-observed air pollutants over eastern China during 2005-2017,especially in heavily polluted regions.We found significant decreasing trends in NO_(2) and SO_(2) since 2011 over most regions,despite varying temporal features and turning points.In contrast,an overall increasing trend was identified for tropospheric HCHO over these regions in recent years.Furthermore,generalized additive models were implemented to understand the driving forces of air quality trends in China and assess the effectiveness of emission controls.Our results indicated that although meteorological parameters,such as wind,water vapor,solar radiation and temperature,mainly dominated the day-to-day and seasonal fluctuations in air pollutants,anthropogenic emissions played a unique role in the long-term variation in the ambient concentrations of NO_(2),SO_(2),and HCHO in the past 13 years.Generally,recent declines in NO_(2) and SO_(2) could be attributed to emission reductions due to effective air quality policies,and the opposite trends in HCHO may urge the need to control anthropogenic volatile organic compound(VOC)emissions.Chengxin Zhang Cheng Liu Qihou Hu Zhaonan Cai Wenjing Su Congzi Xia Yizhi Zhu Siwen Wang Jianguo Liu 2019Light(Science & Applications)2019,8,1:11
3MoSi_2 oxidation resistance coatings for Mo_5Si_3/MoSi_2 composites显示文摘In order to improve the oxidation resistance properties of 30 at.% Mo5Si3/MoSi2 composite at high temperature in air, a molybdenum disilicide coating was prepared on its surface by a molten salt technology. XRD and SEM analysis showed that only tetragonal MoSi2 phase existed in the coating after being siliconized for 5 h at 900°C. The oxidation film formed on the uncoated sample was not dense, so that oxygen diffused easily through it. The volatilization of MoO3 resulted in the oxidation film separating from the substrate. The MoSi2 coating was proved to be an effective method to prevent 30 at.% Mo5Si3/MoSi2 composites from being oxidized at 1200°C. A dense glassy SiO2 film was formed on the MoSi2 coating surface, which acted as a barrier layer for the diffusion of oxygen atoms to the substrate. 4Tumor microenvironments self-activated nanoscale metal-organic frameworks for ferroptosis based cancer chemodynamic/photothermal/chemo therapy显示文摘Ferroptosis,as a newly discovered cell death form,has become an attractive target for precision cancer therapy.Several ferroptosis therapy strategies based on nanotechnology have been reported by either increasing intracellular iron levels or by inhibition of glutathione(GSH)-dependent lipid hydroperoxidase glutathione peroxidase 4(GPX4).However,the strategy by simultaneous iron delivery and GPX4 inhibition has rarely been reported.Herein,novel tumor microenvironments(TME)-activated metal-organic frameworks involving Fe&Cu ions bridged by disulfide bonds with PEGylation(FCSP MOFs)were developed,which would be degraded specifically under the redox TME,simultaneously achieving GSH-depletion induced GPX4 inactivation and releasing Fe ions to produce ROS via Fenton reaction,therefore causing ferroptosis.More ROS could be generated by the acceleration of Fenton reaction due to the released Cu ions and the intrinsic photothermal capability of FCSP MOFs.The overexpressed GSH and H2O2 in TME could ensure the specific TME self-activated therapy.Better tumor therapeutic efficiency could be achieved by doxorubicin(DOX)loading since it can not only cause apoptosis,but also indirectly produce H2O2 to amplify Fenton reaction.Remarkable anti-tumor effect of obtained FCSP@DOX MOFs was verified via both in vitro and in vivo assays.Yu Liang Li Zhang Chao Peng Shiyu Zhang Siwen Chen Xin Qian Wanxian Luo Qing Dan Yongyan Ren Yingjia Li Bingxia Zhao 2021Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,10:7

6A highly porous animal bone-derived char with a superiority of promoting nZVI for Cr(Ⅵ)sequestration in agricultural soils显示文摘Paddy soil and irrigation water are commonly contaminated with hexavalent chromium[Cr(Ⅵ)]near urban industrial areas,thereby threatening the safety of agricultural products and human health.In this study,we develop a porous and high specific area bone char(BC)to support nanoscale zero-valent iron(n ZVI)and apply it to remediate Cr(Ⅵ)pollution in water and paddy soil under anaerobic conditions.The batch experiments reveal that BC/n ZVI exhibits a higher removal capacity of 516.7 mg/(g·n ZVI)for Cr(Ⅵ)than n ZVI when normalized to the actual n ZVI content,which is 2.8 times that of n ZVI;moreover,the highest n ZVI utilization is the n ZVI loading of 15%(BC/n ZVI15).The Cr(Ⅵ)removal efficiency of BC/n ZVI15 decreases with increasing p H(4–10).Coexisting ions(phosphate and carbonate)and humic acid can inhibit the removal of Cr(Ⅵ)with BC/n ZVI15.Additionally,BC exhibits a strong advantage in promoting Cr(Ⅵ)removal by n ZVI compared to the widely used biochar and activated carbon.Our results demonstrate that reduction and coprecipitation are the dominant Cr(Ⅵ)removal mechanisms.Furthermore,BC/n ZVI15 shows a significantly higher reduction and removal efficiency as well as a strong anti-interference ability for Cr(Ⅵ)in paddy soil,as compared to n ZVI.These findings provide a new effective material for remediating Cr(Ⅵ)pollution from water and soil.Kai Liu Fangbai Li Qingwen Tian Chengrong Nie Yibing Ma Zhenlong Zhu Liping Fang Yuanying Huang Siwen Liu 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,6:7
7ESR Dating of the Evolution of the Shuanghu Basin in the Northern Tibetan Plateau显示文摘The Shuanghu basin is a NE-trending rift basin bounded by NE-striking normal faults and NW-striking shear-extensional faults of the northern Tibetan Plateau. Four samples from calcite veins in marginal faults and one sample from mudstone (S-3) were collected for dating the evolution of the Shuanghu basin by using the ESR spectrograph of EXM-type. Ages were calculated according to the close-equilibrium model on the basis of the measured ESR signal spectra of samples, providing good chronological information. 8CNT@MnO_(2) composite ink toward a flexible 3D printed micro-zinc-ion battery显示文摘Flexible energy storage devices have played a significant role in multiscenario applications,while flexible zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs),as an essential branch,have developed rapidly in recent years.Three-dimensional(3D)printing is an extremely advanced technology to design and modify the structure of batteries and provides unlimited possibilities for the diversified development of energy storage equipment.Herein,by utilizing 3D printing technology,carbon nanotube(CNT)is coated by MnO_(2) to form a flexible CNT@MnO_(2) ink as a cathode for flexible aqueous micro-ZIBs for the first time and zinc powder ink is used as an anode due to its high flexibility and bendability.The Zn//CNT@MnO_(2) flexible battery shows a stable capacity of 63μAh cm^(−2) at 0.4mA cm^(−2).When the battery is bent in different states,the maximum capacity loss compared with the initial value is only 2.72%,indicating its stability.This study shows the potential of 3D printing technology in the development of flexible manganese-based ZIBs.Yujin Ren Fanbo Meng Siwen Zhang Bu Ping Hui Li Bosi Yin Tianyi Ma 2022Carbon Energy2022,4,3:5

10Zinc Anode for Mild Aqueous Zinc-Ion Batteries: Challenges, Strategies, and Perspectives显示文摘The rapid advance of mild aqueous zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs)is driving the development of the energy storage system market.But the thorny issues of Zn anodes,mainly including dendrite growth,hydrogen evolution,and corrosion,severely reduce the performance of ZIBs.To commercialize ZIBs,researchers must overcome formidable challenges.Research about mild aqueous ZIBs is still developing.Various technical and scientific obstacles to designing Zn anodes with high stripping efficiency and long cycling life have not been resolved.Moreover,the performance of Zn anodes is a complex scientific issue determined by various parameters,most of which are often ignored,failing to achieve the maximum performance of the cell.This review proposes a comprehensive overview of existing Zn anode issues and the corresponding strategies,frontiers,and development trends to deeply comprehend the essence and inner connection of degradation mechanism and performance.First,the formation mechanism of dendrite growth,hydrogen evolution,corrosion,and their influence on the anode are analyzed.Furthermore,various strategies for constructing stable Zn anodes are summarized and discussed in detail from multiple perspectives.These strategies are mainly divided into interface modification,structural anode,alloying anode,intercalation anode,liquid electrolyte,non-liquid electrolyte,separator design,and other strategies.Finally,research directions and prospects are put forward for Zn anodes.This contribution highlights the latest developments and provides new insights into the advanced Zn anode for future research.Jinzhang Yang Bosi Yin Ying Sun Hongge Pan Wenping Sun Baohua Jia Siwen Zhang Tianyi Ma 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,3:5
11Literature Review on Wireless Sensing Wi-Fi Signal-Based Recognition of Human Activities显示文摘With the rapid development and wide deployment of wireless technology, Wi-Fi signals have no longer been confined to the Internet as a communication medium. Wi-Fi signals will be modulated again by human actions when propagating indoors, carrying rich human body state information. Therefore, a novel wireless sensing technology is gradually emerging that can realize gesture recognition, human daily activity detection, identification,indoor localization and human body tracking, vital signs detection, imaging, and emotional recognition by extracting effective feature information about human actions from Wi-Fi signals. Researchers mainly use channel state information or frequency modulated carrier wave in their current implementation schemes of wireless sensing technology, called 'Walls have eyes', and these schemes cover radio-frequency technology, signal processing technology, and machine learning. These available wireless sensing systems can be used in many applications such as smart home, medical health care, search-and-rescue, security, and with the high precision and passively device-free through-wall detection function. This paper elaborates the research actuality and summarizes each system structure and the basic principles of various wireless sensing applications in detail. Meanwhile, two popular implementation schemes are analyzed. 12Preparation and properties of ultra-fine TiCN matrix cermets by vacuum microwave sintering显示文摘Ultra-fine titanium carbonitride(TiCN) matrix materials with a grain size less than 1 μm were successfully prepared by vacuum microwave sintering.The milling process for raw TiCN particles and the microstructure and properties of cermets produced with a composition of 15wt.%WC-17wt.%(Co+Ni)-9wt.%Mo2C-59wt.%Ti0.7N0.3 and sintered by vacuum microwave were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD).The results show that a ball-to-powder mass ratio of 8:1 and a milling time of 50 h provided appropriate conditions for the production of ultra-fine TiCN solid solution powders.The use of vacuum microwave sintering produced cermets with much finer grain and black core structures and higher relative density and hardness than those produced by vacuum sintering technology.ZHANG Hou'an YAN Dike TANG Siwen 2010Rare Metals2010,29,5:4
13Artificial intelligence in gastric cancer:applications and challenges显示文摘Gastric cancer(GC)is one of the most common malignant tumors with high mortality.Accurate diagnosis and treatment decisions for GC rely heavily on human experts’careful judgments on medical images.However,the improvement of the accuracy is hindered by imaging conditions,limited experience,objective criteria,and inter-observer discrepancies.Recently,the developments of machine learning,especially deep-learning algorithms,have been facilitating computers to extract more information from data automatically.Researchers are exploring the far-reaching applications of artificial intelligence(AI)in various clinical practices,including GC.Herein,we aim to provide a broad framework to summarize current research on AI in GC.In the screening of GC,AI can identify precancerous diseases and assist in early cancer detection with endoscopic examination and pathological confirmation.In the diagnosis of GC,AI can support tumor-node-metastasis(TNM)staging and subtype classification.For treatment decisions,AI can help with surgical margin determination and prognosis prediction.Meanwhile,current approaches are challenged by data scarcity and poor interpretability.To tackle these problems,more regulated data,unified processing procedures,and advanced algorithms are urgently needed to build more accurate and robust AI models for GC.Runnan Cao Lei Tang Mengjie Fang Lianzhen Zhong Siwen Wang Lixin Gong Jiazheng Li Di Dong Jie Tian 2022Gastroenterology Report2022,10,1:3
14The green-emitting fluorescence of nano Y_2O_3:Er^(3+) under different excitations显示文摘The green-emitting fluorescent powders of nano Y2O3:Er3+ were fabricated by the coprecipitation method. The X-ray diffraction pattern shows that as-prepared Y2O3:Er3+ is the cubic phase crystal with a grain size of about 30 nm. The UV-Vis spectrum indicates Y2O3:Er3+ exhibits five ultraviolet visible absorption peaks at 365, 377, 489, 521 and 652 nm respectively. Meanwhile, the fluorescence spectra of Y2O3:Er3+ display four emission peaks at 522, 537, 550 and 562 nm at the excitation of 365, 377 and 521 nm, respectively. The green-emitting fluorescent mechanism of Y2O3:Er3+ is proposed as well. Additionally, the temperature dependence of fluorescence properties and metal Ag fluorescence enhancement effect are investigated. Results show that increasing the annealing temperature and metal Ag doping both can enhance the fluorescence intensity. 15Applications of Wigner high-order spectra in feature extraction of acoustic emission signals显示文摘The characteristics of typical AE signals initiated by mechanical component damages are analyzed. Based on the extracting principle of acoustic emission(AE) signals from damaged components,the paper introduces Wigner high-order spectra to the field of feature extraction and fault diagnosis of AE signals. Some main performances of Wigner binary spectra,Wigner triple spectra and Wigner-Ville distribution (WVD) are discussed,including of time-frequency resolution,energy accumulation,reduction of crossing items and noise elimination. Wigner triple spectra is employed to the fault diagnosis of rolling bearings with AE techniques. The fault features reading from experimental data analysis are clear,accurate and intuitionistic. The validity and accuracy of Wigner high-order spectra methods proposed agree quite well with simulation results. 16Transcriptional response of porcine skeletal muscle to feeding a linseed-enriched diet to growing pigs显示文摘Background: To investigate the effect of feeding a linseed-enriched diet to growing-finishing pigs on gene expression in skeletal muscle, pigs were fed with a linseed-enriched diet for 0, 30, 60 and 90 d. Transcriptional profiles of longissimus dorsi muscle were measured using Affymetrix Genechip.Results: Results showed that 264 genes were identified as differentially expressed genes(DEGs). The strongest transcriptional response was clearly observed at 30 d. DEGs were assigned to several main functional terms,including transcription, apoptosis, intracellular receptor-mediated signaling, muscle organ development, fatty acid metabolic process, cell motion, regulation of glucose metabolic process, spermatogenesis and regulation of myeloid cell differentiation. We also found that transcriptional changs of several transcription cofactors might contribute to n-3 PUFAs regulated gene expression. In addition, the increased expression of IGF-1, insulin signaling pathway and the metabolism of amino acids might involve in the muscle growth induced by feeding a linseedenriched diet. 18New FeNiCrMo(P, C, B) high-entropy bulk metallic glasses with unusual thermal stability and corrosion resistance显示文摘New Fe(20–35) Ni(20) Cr(20–30) Mo(5–15)(P(0.6) C(0.2) B(0.2))(20) bulk metallic glasses with excellent thermal stability,strength, and corrosion resistance have been developed through the high-entropy alloy design strategy.The high-entropy bulk metallic glasses(HE-BMGs) possess larger supercooled liquid regions of ~69 K,higher crystallization onset temperatures of ~852 K, larger undercoolings of ~109 K, and more sluggish crystallization process upon heating than the conventional metallic glass benefited from the high mixing entropy effect. The HE-BMGs also exhibit ultrahigh strength of ~3.4 GPa, Vickers hardness of ~1107,and superior corrosion resistance in acids and Na Cl solutions by formation of highly stable Cr-and Moenriched passive films. 19RANSACs for 3D Rigid Registration:A Comparative Evaluation显示文摘Estimating an accurate six-degree-of-freedom(6-Do F)pose from correspondences with outliers remains a critical issue to 3D rigid registration.Random sample consensus(RANSAC)and its variants are popular solutions to this problem.Although there have been a number of RANSAC-fashion estimators,two issues remain unsolved.First,it is unclear which estimator is more appropriate to a particular application.Second,the impacts of different sampling strategies,hypothesis generation methods,hypothesis evaluation metrics,and stop criteria on the overall estimators remain ambiguous.This work fills these gaps by first considering six existing RANSAC-fashion methods and then proposing eight variants for a comprehensive evaluation.The objective is to thoroughly compare estimators in the RANSAC family,and evaluate the effects of each key stage on the eventual 6-Do F pose estimation performance.Experiments have been carried out on four standard datasets with different application scenarios,data modalities,and nuisances.They provide us with input correspondence sets with a variety of inlier ratios,spatial distributions,and scales.Based on the experimental results,we summarize remarkable outcomes and valuable findings,so as to give practical instructions to real-world applications,and highlight current bottlenecks and potential solutions in this research realm.Jiaqi Yang Zhiqiang Huang Siwen Quan Zhiguo Cao Yanning Zhang 2022IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2022,9,10:2
20Heat exchanger network synthesis integrated with flexibility and controllability显示文摘Over the last three decades,flexibility and controllability considerations for heat exchanger networks(HENs)have received great attention,respectively.However,they should be simultaneously incorporated in HEN synthesis to allow the economic performance to be achievable in a practical operating environment.This paper proposes a method for simultaneous synthesis of flexible and controllable HEN by considering their coupling.The key idea is to add the bypasses with optimized initial fractions and positions to explore such coupling,and consequently enabling HENs to be operated successfully over a range of disturbance variations.These are implemented by identifying and quantifying disturbance propagations,and then examining the sensitivity of bypasses to the entire HEN.In this way,the superstructurebased mixed integer non-linear programming(MINLP)with objective function of minimizing the total annual cost is formulated.A case study is used to demonstrate the application of the proposed method.Quantitative measures and dynamic simulation show the ability to provide the satisfactory flexibility and controllability of the obtained HEN.Siwen Gu Linlin Liu Lei Zhang Yiyuan Bai Shaojing Wang Jian Du 2019Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2019,27,7:2
