2Parameters optimum matching of pure electric vehicle dual-mode coupling drive system显示文摘As an important development direction of pure electric vehicle drive system,the distributed drive system has the advantages of compact structure,high transmission efficiency,and flexible control,but there are some serious problems such as high performance requirements to the drive motors,complex control strategies,and poor reliability.To solve these problems,a two motors dual-mode coupling drive system has been developed at first,which not only has the capacity of two-speed gear shifting,but also can automatically switch between the distributed drive and the centralized drive by means of modes change control.So,the performance requirements to the drive motors can be reduced,the problem of abnormal running caused by the fault of unilateral distributed drive systems also can be resolved by replacing the drive mode with centralized drive.Then,the system parameters primary and the optimum matching under the principle of efficiency optimization have been carried out,which makes the drive system achieve predetermined functions and meet the actual demands of different operating statuses.At last,the economic comparison of a pure electric vehicle installation with a dual-mode coupling drive sytem,a single-motor centralized drive system or a dual-motor distributed drive system in the simulation conditions has been completed.Compared with other systems,the driving range of the electric vehicle driven by the designed system is significantly increased,which proves the better efficiency and application value of the system.ZHANG LiPeng LI Liang QI BingNan WANG Chong ZHANG YaHui SONG Jian 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,11:22

6Estimation of ammonia nitrogen load from nonpoint sources in the Xitiao River catchment, China显示文摘Ammonia nitrogen (NH4+-N) is one of the three main forms of total nitrogen (TN). Most studies have estimated the load of TN from nonpoint sources instead of one specific form. The relationship between land use and concentrations of NH4+-N in runoff was analyzed using the hydraulic analysis functions of a Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and the annual loads of NH4+-N in the Xitiao River catchment were estimated according to model results. The results suggested that the calculated annual loads of NH4+-N agreed well with the observed ones, which was a good example demonstrating that it was possible to estimate the pollutant loads from nonpoint sources without enough monitoring data. Results also showed that the concentrations of NH4+-N in river waters of forest and arable land in the study area were 0.16 and 0.39 mg/L, respectively. 7m^6A-dependent biogenesis of circular RNAs in male germ cells显示文摘The majority of circular RNAs(circRNAs)spliced from coding genes contain open reading frames(ORFs)and thus,have protein coding potential.However,it remains unknown what regulates the biogenesis of these ORF-containing circRNAs,whether they are actually translated into proteins and what functions they play in specific physiological contexts.Here,we report that a large number of circRNAs are synthesized with increasing abundance when late pachytene spermatocytes develop into round and then elongating spermatids during murine spermatogenesis.For a subset of circRNAs,the back splicing appears to occur mostly at m^6A-enriched sites,which are usually located around the start and stop codons in linear mRNAs.Consequently,approximately a half of these male germ cell circRNAs contain large ORFs with m^6A-modified start codons in their junctions,features that have been recently shown to be associated with protein-coding potential.Hundreds of peptides encoded by the junction sequences of these circRNAs were detected using liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry,suggesting that these circRNAs can indeed be translated into proteins in both developing(spermatocytes and spermatids)and mature(spermatozoa)male germ cells.The present study discovered not only a novel role of m^6A in the biogenesis of coding circRNAs,but also a potential mechanism to ensure stable and long-lasting protein production in the absence of linear mRNAs,i.e.,through production of circRNAs containing large ORFs and m^6A-modified start codons in junction sequences.Chong Tang Yeming Xie Tian Yu Na Liu Zhuqing Wang Rebekah J.Woolsey Yunge Tang Xinzong Zhang Weibing Qin Ying Zhang Ge Song Weiwei Zheng Juan Wang Weitian Chen Xiongyi Wei Zhe Xie Rachel Klukovich Huili Zheng David R.Quilici Wei Yan 2020Cell Research2020,30,3:12

10Pretreatment with H_2O_2 Alleviates Aluminum-induced Oxidative Stress in Wheat Seedlings显示文摘Hydrogen peroxide(H2O2) is a key reactive oxygen species(ROS) in signal transduction pathways leading to activation of plant defenses against biotic and abiotic stresses.In this study,we investigated the effects of H2O2 pretreatment on aluminum(Al) induced antioxidant responses in root tips of two wheat(Triticum aestivum L.) genotypes,Yangmai-5(Al-sensitive) and Jian-864(Al-tolerant).Al increased accumulation of H2O2 and O2r· leading to more predominant lipid peroxidation,programmed cell death and root elongation inhibition in Yangmai-5 than in Jian-864.However,H2O2 pretreatment alleviated Al-induced deleterious effects in both genotypes.Under Al stress,H2O2 pretreatment increased the activities of superoxide dismutase,catalase,peroxidase,ascorbate peroxidase and monodehydroascorbate reductase,glutathione reductase and glutathione peroxidase as well as the levels of ascorbate and glutathione more significantly in Yangmai-5 than in Jian-864.Furthermore,H2O2 pretreatment also in-creased the total antioxidant capacity evaluated as the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl-radical scavenging activity and the ferric reducing/antioxidant power more significantly in Yangmai-5 than in Jian-864.Therefore,we conclude that H2O2 pretreatment improves wheat Al acclimation during subsequent Al exposure by enhancing the antioxidant defense capacity,which prevents ROS accumulation,and that the enhancement is greater in the Al-sensitive genotype than in the Al-tolerant genotype.Fang Jie Xu Chong Wei Jin Wen Jing Liu Yong Song Zhang Xian Yong Lin 2011Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2011,53,1:9
11Ginseng-Derived Panaxadiol Saponins Promote Hematopoiesis Recovery in Cyclophosphamide-Induced Myelosuppressive Mice:Potential Novel Treatment of Chemotherapy-Induced Cytopenias显示文摘Objective:To investigate the potential efficacy of panaxadiol saponins component(PDS-C),a biologically active fraction isolated from total ginsenosides,to reverse chemotherapy-induced myelosuppression and pancytopenia caused by cyclophamide(CTX).Methods:Mice with myelosuppression induced by CTX were treated with PDS-C at a low-(20 mg/kg),moderate-(40 mg/kg),or high-dose(80 mg/kg) for 7 consecutive days.The level of peripheral white blood cell(WBC),neutrophil(NEU) and platelet(PLT) were measured,the histopathology and colony formation were observed,the protein kinase and transcription factors in hematopoietic cells were determined by immunohistochemical staining and Western blot.Results:In response to PDS-C therapy,the peripheral WBC,NEU and PLT counts of CTX-induced myelosuppressed mice were significantly increased in a dose-dependent manner.Similarly,bone marrow histopathology examination showed reversal of CTX-induced myelosuppression with increase in overall bone marrow cellularity and the number of hematopoietic cells(P<0.01).PDS-C also promoted proliferation of granulocytic and megakaryocyte progenitor cells in CTX-treated mice,as evidenced by significantly increase in colony formation units-granulocytes/monocytes and-megakaryocytes(P<0.01).The enhancement of hematopoiesis by PDS-C appears to be mediated by an intracellular signaling pathway,this was evidenced by the up-regulation of phosphorylated mitogen-activated protein kinase(p-MEK) and extracellular signal-regulated kinases(p-ERK),and receptor tyrosine kinase(C-kit) and globin transcription factor 1(GATA-1) in hematopoietic cells of CTX-treated mice(P<0.05).Conclusions:PDS-C possesses hematopoietic growth factor-like activities that promote proliferation and also possibly differentiation of hematopoietic progenitor cells in myelosuppressed mice,probably mediated by a mechanism involving MEK and ERK protein kinases,and C-kit and GATA-1 transcription factors.PDS-C may potentially be a novel treatment of myelosuppression and pancytopenia caused by chemotherapy.SUN Xin ZHAO Yan-na QIAN Song GAO Rui-lan YIN Li-ming WANG Li-pei CHONG Beng-hock ZHANG Su-zhan 2018Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine2018,24,3:9
12Genome-wide association study identifies favorable SNP alleles and candidate genes for waterlogging tolerance in chrysanthemums显示文摘Chrysanthemums are sensitive to waterlogging stress,and the development of screening methods for tolerant germplasms or genes and the breeding of tolerant new varieties are of great importance in chrysanthemum breeding.To understand the genetic basis of waterlogging tolerance(WT)in chrysanthemums,we performed a genome-wide association study(GWAS)using 92,811 single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)in a panel of 88 chrysanthemum accessions,including 64 spray cut and 24 disbud chrysanthemums.The results showed that the average MFVW(membership function value of waterlogging)of the disbud type(0.65)was significantly higher than that of the spray type(0.55)at P<0.05,and the MFVW of the Asian accessions(0.65)was significantly higher than that of the European accessions(0.48)at P<0.01.The GWAS performed using the general linear model(GLM)and mixed linear model(MLM)identified 137 and 14 SNP loci related to WT,respectively,and 11 associations were commonly predicted.By calculating the phenotypic effect values for 11 common SNP loci,six highly favorable SNP alleles that explained 12.85—21.85%of the phenotypic variations were identified.Furthermore,the dosage-pyramiding effects of the favorable alleles and the significant linear correlations between the numbers of highly favorable alleles and phenotypic values were identified(r2=0.45;P<0.01).A major SNP locus(Marker6619-75)was converted into a derived cleaved amplified polymorphic sequence(dCAPS)marker that cosegregated with WT with an average efficiency of 78.9%.Finally,four putative candidate genes in the WT were identified via quantitative real-time PCR(qRT-PCR).The results presented in this study provide insights for further research on WT mechanisms and the application of molecular marker-assisted selection(MAS)in chrysanthemum WT breeding programs.Jiangshuo Su Fei Zhang Xinran Chong Aiping Song Zhiyong Guan Weimin Fang Fadi Chen 2019Horticulture Research2019,6,1:9
13Dynamic recrystallization behavior and microstructural evolution of Mg alloy AZ31 through high-speed rolling显示文摘High-speed rolling(HSR) is known to improve the workability of Mg alloys significantly, which makes it possible to impose a large reduction in a single pass without fracture. In the present study, dynamic recrystallization(DRX) behavior and microstructural and textural variations of Mg alloy AZ31 during a HSR process were investigated by conducting rolling with different imposed reductions in the range of 20%–80% at a high rolling speed of 470 m/min and 400?C. High-strain-rate deformation during HSR suppresses dislocation slips but promotes twinning, which results in the formation of numerous twins of several types, i.e., {10–12} extension twins, {10–11} and {10–13} contraction twins,and {10–11}–{10–12} double twins. After twinning, high strain energy is accumulated in twin bands because their crystallographic orientations are favorable for basal slips, leading to subsequent DRX at the twin bands. Accordingly, twinning activation and twinning-induced DRX behavior play crucial roles in accommodating plastic deformation during HSR and in varying microstructure and texture of the highspeed-rolled(HSRed) sheets. Area fraction of fine DRXed grains formed at the twin bands increases with increasing rolling reduction, which is attributed to the combined effects of increased strain, strain rate,and deformation temperature and a decreased critical strain for DRX. Size, internal strain, and texture intensity of the DRXed grains are smaller than those of unDRXed grains. 17Estimating Soil Salinity in the Yellow River Delta, Eastern China——An Integrated Approach Using Spectral and Terrain Indices with the Generalized Additive Model显示文摘Soil salinity is one of the most severe environmental problems worldwide. It is necessary to develop a soil-salinity-estimation model to project the spatial distribution of soil salinity. The aims of this study were to use remote sensed images and digital elevation model(DEM) to develop quantitative models for estimating soil salinity and to investigate the influence of vegetation on soil salinity estimation. Digital bands of Landsat Thematic Mapper(TM) images, vegetation indices, and terrain indices were selected as predictive variables for the estimation. The generalized additive model(GAM) was used to analyze the quantitative relationship between soil salt content, spectral properties, and terrain indices. Akaike's information criterion(AIC) was used to select relevant predictive variables for fitted GAMs. A correlation analysis and root mean square error between predicted and observed soil salt contents were used to validate the fitted GAMs. A high ratio of explained deviance suggests that an integrated approach using spectral and terrain indices with GAM was practical and efficient for estimating soil salinity. The performance of the fitted GAMs varied with changes in vegetation cover.Salinity in sparsely vegetated areas was estimated better than in densely vegetated areas. Visible red and near-infrared bands, and the second and third components of the tasseled cap transformation were the most important spectral variables for the estimation. Variable combinations in the fitted GAMs and their contribution varied with changes in vegetation cover. The contribution of terrain indices was smaller than that of spectral indices, possibly due to the low spatial resolution of DEM. 20Predictive Vegetation Mapping Approach Based on Spectral Data, DEM and Generalized Additive Models显示文摘This study aims to provide a predictive vegetation mapping approach based on the spectral data, DEM and Generalized Additive Models (GAMs). GAMs were used as a prediction tool to describe the relationship between vegetation and environmental variables, as well as spectral variables. Based on the fitted GAMs model, probability map of species occurrence was generated and then vegetation type of each grid was defined according to the probability of species occurrence. Deviance analysis was employed to test the goodness of curve fitting and drop contribution calculation was used to evaluate the contribution of each predictor in the fitted GAMs models. Area under curve (AUC) of Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curve was employed to assess the results maps of probability. The results showed that: 1) AUC values of the fitted GAMs models are very high which proves that integrating spectral data and environmental variables based on the GAMs is a feasible way to map the vegetation. 2) Prediction accuracy varies with plant community, and community with dense cover is better predicted than sparse plant community. 3) Both spectral variables and environmental variables play an important role in mapping the vegetation. However, the contribution of the same predictor in the GAMs models for different plant communities is different. 4) Insufficient resolution of spectral data, environmental data and confounding effects of land use and other variables which are not closely related to the environmental conditions are the major causes of imprecision.SONG Chuangye HUANG Chong LIU Huiming 2013Chinese Geographical Science2013,23,3:5
