1Interactions between bubble and particles of key minerals of diasporic bauxite through the extended DLVO theory显示文摘The flotation of diasporic bauxite is to separate diaspore(valuable mineral)from aluminosilicate minerals(gangue minerals,mainly including kaolinite,illite and pyrophyllite),and the microscopic interaction force between the two types of minerals and air bubbles determines the separation efficiency.In this paper,based on the extended Derjaguin-Landau-Verwey-Overbeek(DLVO)theory,the van der Waals,electrostatic and hydrophobic interaction between particles of the four minerals mentioned above and air bubbles in collectorless solution were calculated first,and then diaspore and kaolinite were taken as examples to analyze the influence of various factors such as electrolyte concentration,mineral particle size,air bubble size,collector type(dodecylamine hydrochloride(DAH)and sodium oleate(NaOL))and concentration,and pulp pH on the interactions between the particles of valuable mineral and gangue minerals and air bubbles.The results showed that the total extended DLVO interactions between the four minerals and air bubbles were repulsive in most cases in collectorless solution.The increase in electrolyte concentration reduced the interaction force or even changed the direction of the force under certain circumstances.The addition of DAH and NaOL can reduce the adhesion energy barrier of kaolinitebubble and diaspore-bubble respectively.Each type of minerals exhibited a specific interface interaction response with air bubbles in each collector with different pH values.The research results have theoretical guiding significance for the optimization and directional control of diasporic bauxite flotation conditions.Ningning Zhang Tian Pang Rui Han Songjiang Chen Zhen Li Yuexian Yu Zhongyu Shi Lijun Liu Jinzhou Qu Anning Zhou 2022International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2022,32,1:3

10Effect of Dislocation Mechanism on Elastoplastic Behavior of Crystals with Heterogeneous Dislocation Distribution显示文摘Gradient structures have excellent mechanical properties,such as synergetic strength and ductility.It is desirable to reveal the connection between the gradient structure and mechanical properties.However,few studies have been conducted for materials with heterogeneous dislocation distribution.In the present study,we use the discrete dislocation dynamics(DDD)method to investigate the effect of dislocation density gradient on the elastoplastic behavior of single crystals controlled by source activation.In contrast to the intuitive expectation that gradient structure affects the mechanical properties,the DDD simulations show that the elastic moduli and yield stresses of three gradient samples(i.e.,no gradient,low gradient,and high gradient)are almost identical.Different from the progressive elastic-plastic transition in the samples controlled by Taylor hardening(i.e.,the mutual interaction of dislocation segments),the flow stresses of source activation ones enter into a stage of nearly ideal plasticity(serrated flow)immediately after yielding.The microstructure evolution demonstrates that the mean dislocation spacing is relatively large.Thus,there are only a few or even one dislocation source activated during the plastic flow.The intermittent operation of sources leads to intensive fluctuation of stress and dislocation density,as well as a stair-like evolution of plastic strain.The present work reveals that the effect of dislocation density gradient on the mechanical response of crystals depends on the underlying dislocation mechanisms controlling the plastic deformation of materials.Songjiang Lu Jian Xiong Dean Wei Yifan Ding Bo Zhang Ronghai Wu Xu Zhang 2020Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2020,33,4:0
11A method for reducing thermal injury during the ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy显示文摘Objective:Many studies have demonstrated the heat effect from the holmium laser lithotripsy can cause persistent thermal injury to the ureter.The purpose of this study was to elucidate the use of a modified ureteral catheter with appropriate firing and irrigation to reduce the thermal injury to the“ureter”during the ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy in vitro.Methods:An in vitro lithotripsy was performed using a modified catheter(5 Fr)as the entrance for the irrigation and the holmium laser fiber while using the remaining space in the ureteroscopic channel as an outlet.Different laser power settings(10 W,20 W,and 30 W)with various firing times(3 s,5 s,and 10 s)and rates of irrigation(15 mL/min,20 mL/min,and 30 mL/min)were applied in the experiment.Temperature changes in the“ureter”were recorded with a thermometer during and after the lithotripsy.Results:During the lithotripsy,the local highest mean temperature was 60.3℃ and the lowest mean temperature was 26.7℃.When the power was set to 10 w,the temperature was maintained below 43℃ regardless of laser firing time or irrigation flow.Regardless of the power or firing time selected,the temperature was below 43℃ at the rate of 30 mL/min.There was a significant difference in temperature decrease when continuous 3 s drainage after continuous firing(3 s,5 s,or 10 s)compared to with not drainage(p<0.05)except for two conditions of 0.5 J×20 Hz,30 mL/min,firing 5 s,and 1.0 J×10 Hz,30 mL/min,firing 5 s.Conclusion:Our modified catheter with timely drainage reducing hot irrigation may significantly reduce the local thermal injury effect,especially along with the special interrupted-time firing setting during the simulated holmium laser procedure.Xiaoliang Zhu Feiping Li Xixi Hu Haiping Li Songjiang Wu Haihong Jiang 2023Asian Journal of Urology2023,10,1:0
12Experimental Study on the Reduction Effect of Pit Texture on Disassembly Damage for Interference Fit显示文摘After remanufacturing disassembly,several kinds of friction damages can be found on the mating surface of interference fit.These damages should be repaired and the cost is closely related to the severity of damages.Inspired by the excellent performance of surface texture in wear reduction,5 shapes of pit array textures are added to the specimens’surface to study their reduction effect of disassembly damage for interference fit.The results of disassembly experiments show that the order of influence of texture parameters on disassembly damage is as follows:equivalent circle diameter of single texture,texture shape and texture surface density.The influence of equivalent circle diameter of single texture and texture shape are obviously more significant than that of texture surface density.The circular texture with a surface density of 30%and a diameter of 100μm shows an excellent disassembly damage reduction effect because of its perfect ability of abrasive particle collection.And the probability of disassembly damage formation and evolution is also relatively small on this kind of textured surface.Besides,the load-carrying capacity of interference fit with the excellent texture is confirmed by load-carrying capacity experiments.The results show that the load-carrying capacity of the excellent texture surface is increased about 40%compared with that of without texture.This research provides a potential approach to reduce disassembly damage for interference fit.Dan Zhou Yi Xu Xin Gao Haihong Huang Songjiang Lv 2023Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2023,36,2:0
13Management of traumatic peripheral artery pseudoaneurysm:A 10-year experience at a single center显示文摘Purpose: This study aimed to report our 10-year experience with the management of iatrogenic(penetrating trauma) and traumatic(blunt or penetrating trauma) peripheral artery pseudoaneurysms, based on data from a tertiary referral center.Methods: From January 2012 to December 2021, the medical records of consecutive patients with iatrogenic and traumatic peripheral artery pseudoaneurysms were retrospectively reviewed. Patient demographics, clinical features, imaging data, treatment details, and follow-up results were analyzed.Results: Sixty-one consecutive patients were included in this study;48(79%) were men and 13(21%) women,with a mean age of 49.4 ± 13.4 years(range 24–73 years). There were 42 patients(69%) who underwent open surgery, 18(29%) undergoing endovascular embolization or stent implantation, and one(2%) undergoing ultrasound-guided thrombin injection. All patients successfully underwent open or interventional treatment. The median follow-up was 46.8 months(2.5–117.9 months), and the overall reintervention rate was 10%. Of these,one(5%) patient in the interventional treatment group and five(12%) patients in the open surgery group underwent reintervention. The overall complication rate was 8%, with complications occurring only in the open surgery group. No deaths occurred in the peri-operative period. 14Application of controlled-release urea increases maize N uptake,environmental benefits and economic returns via optimizing temporal and spatial distributions of soil mineral N显示文摘The creation of controlled-release urea (CRU) is a potent substitute for conventional fertilizers in order to preserve the availability of nitrogen (N) in soil,prevent environmental pollution,and move toward green agriculture.The main objectives of this study were to assess the impacts of CRU’s full application on maize production and to clarify the connection between the nutrient release pattern of CRU and maize nutrient uptake.In order to learn more about the effects of CRU application on maize yields,N uptake,mineral N (N_(min)) dynamics,N balance in soil-crop systems,and economic returns,a series of field experiments were carried out in 2018–2020 in Dalian City,Liaoning Province,China.There were 4 different treatments in the experiments:no N fertilizer input (control,CK);application of common urea at 210 kg ha^(-1)(U),the ideal fertilization management level for the study site;application of polyurethane-coated urea at the same N input rate as U (PCU);and application of PCU at a 20% reduction in N input rate (0.8PCU).Our findings showed that using CRU (i.e.,PCU and 0.8 PCU) may considerably increase maize N absorption,maintain maize yields,and increase N use efficiency (NUE) compared to U.The grain yield showed considerable positive correlations with total N uptake in leaf in U and 0.8 PCU,but negative correlations with that in PCU,indicating that PCU caused excessive maize absorption while 0.8 PCU could achieve a better yield response to N supply.Besides,PCU was able to maintain N fertilizer in the soil profile 0–20 cm away from the fertilization point,and higher N_(min)content was observed in the 0–20 cm soil layer at various growth stages,particularly at the middle and late growing stages,optimizing the temporal and spatial distributions of N_(min).Additionally,compared to that in U,the apparent N loss rate in PCU was reduced by 36.2%,and applying CRU (PCU and 0.8 PCU) increased net profit by 8.5% to 15.2% with less labor and fertilization frequency.It was concluded that using CRU could be an effective N fertilizer management strategy to sustain maize production,improve NUE,and increase economic returns while minimizing environmental risks.Mingxue SUN Juan LI Lili ZHANG Xiaomeng SU Ning LIU Xiaori HAN Songjiang WU Zhentao SUN Xiangdong YANG 2024Pedosphere2024,34,1:0
