1Exploration of the formation mechanism and source attribution of ambient ozone in Chongqing with an observation-based model显示文摘An intensive field campaign was conducted in Chongqing during the summer of 2015 to explore the formation mechanisms of ozone pollution. The sources of ozone, the local production rates, and the controlling factors, as well as key species of volatile organic compounds(VOCs), were quantified by integrating a local ozone budget analysis, calculations of the relative incremental reactivity, and an empirical kinetic model approach. It was found that the potential for rapid local ozone formation exists in Chongqing. During ozone pollution episodes, the ozone production rates were found to be high at the upwind station Nan Quan, the urban station Chao Zhan, and the downwind station Jin-Yun Shan. The average local ozone production rate was 30×10^(-9) V/V h^(-1) and the daily integration of the produced ozone was greater than 180×10^(-9) V/V. High ozone concentrations were associated with urban and downwind air masses. At most sites, the local ozone production was VOC-limited and the key species were aromatics and alkene, which originated mainly from vehicles and solvent usage. In addition, the air masses at the northwestern rural sites were NO_x-limited and the local ozone production rates were significantly higher during the pollution episodes due to the increased NOx concentrations. In summary, the ozone abatement strategies of Chongqing should be focused on the mitigation of VOCs. 2Daytime HONO formation in the suburban area of the megacity Beijing, China显示文摘Nitrous acid(HONO),as a primary precursor of OH radicals,has been considered one of the most important nitrogencontaining species in the atmosphere.Up to 30%of primary OH radical production is attributed to the photolysis of HONO.However,the major HONO formation mechanisms are still under discussion.During the Campaigns of Air Quality Research in Beijing and Surrounding Region(CAREBeijing2006)campaign,comprehensive measurements were carried out in the megacity Beijing,where the chemical budget of HONO was fully constrained.The average diurnal HONO concentration varied from 0.33 to 1.2 ppbv.The net OH production rate from HONO,POH(HONO)net,was on average(from 05:00 to 19:00)7.1×106 molecule/(cm3 s),2.7 times higher than from O3 photolysis.This production rate demonstrates the important role of HONO in the atmospheric chemistry of megacity Beijing.An unknown HONO source(Punknown)with an average of 7.3×106molecule/(cm3 s)was derived from the budget analysis during daytime.Punknown provided four times more HONO than the reaction of NO with OH did.The diurnal variation of Punknown showed an apparent photo-enhanced feature with a maximum around 12:00,which was consistent with previous studies at forest and rural sites.Laboratory studies proposed new mechanisms to recruit NO2 and J(NO2)in order to explain a photo-enhancement of of Punknown.In this study,these mechanisms were validated against the observation-constraint Punknown.The reaction of exited NO2 accounted for only 6%of Punknown,and Punknown poorly correlated with[NO2](R=0.26)and J(NO2)[NO2](R=0.35).These results challenged the role of NO2 as a major precursor of the missing HONO source.YANG Qiang SU Hang LI Xin CHENG YaFang LU KeDing CHENG Peng GU JianWei GUO Song HU Min ZENG LiMin ZHU Tong ZHANG YuanHang 2014Science China Chemistry2014,57,7:8
3Efficacy and safety of low-dose interleukin-2 in combination with methotrexate in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis:a randomized,double-blind,placebo-controlled phase 2 trial显示文摘Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is an aggressive autoimmune arthritis,and current therapies remain unsatisfactory due to low remission rate and substantially adverse effects.Low-dose interleukin-2(Ld-IL2)is potentially a therapeutic approach to further improve the disease.This randomized,double-blind,placebo-controlled trial was undertaken to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Ld-IL2 in patients with active RA.Patients were randomly assigned(1:1)to receive Ld-IL2,defined as a dose of 1 million IU,or placebo in a 12-week trial with a 12-week follow-up.Three cycles of Ld-IL2 or placebo were administered subcutaneously every other day for 2 weeks(a total of 7 doses),followed by a 2-week break.All patients received a stable dose of methotrexate(MTX).The primary outcomes were the proportion of patients achieving the ACR20,DAS28-ESR<2.6,and the change from baseline in CDAI or SDAI at week 24.Secondary endpoints included other clinical responses and safety.The primary outcomes were achieved in the perprotocol population.The improvements from baseline in CDAI and SDAI were significantly greater across time points for the LdIL2+MTX group(n=17)than for the placebo+MTX group(n=23)(P=0.018 and P=0.015,respectively).More patients achieved ACR20 response in the Ld-IL2+MTX group than those in the placebo+MTX group at week 12(70.6%vs 43.5%)and at week 24(76.5%vs 56.5%)(P=0.014).In addition,low Treg and high IL-21 were associated with good responses to Ld-IL2.Ld-IL-2 treatment was well-tolerated in this study.These results suggested that Ld-IL2 was effective and safe in RA.ClinicalTrials.gov number:NCT 02467504.Xiaoying Zhang Miao Miao Ruijun Zhang Xu Liu Xiaozhen Zhao Miao Shao Tian Liu Yuebo Jin Jiali Chen Huixin Liu Xia Zhang Yun Li Yunshan Zhou Yue Yang Ru Li Haihong Yao Yanying Liu Chun Li Yuhui Li Limin Ren Yin Su Xiaolin Sun Jing He Zhanguo Li 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,4:7

5Uncommon EGFR mutations in a cohort of Chinese NSCLC patients and outcomes of first-line EGFR-TKIs and platinum-based chemotherapy显示文摘Objective: Data on the clinical activity of epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKIs) in patients with non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC) and uncommon EGFR mutations remain insufficient.This study aimed to investigate the effect of first-line EGFR-TKIs or platinum-based chemotherapy in NSCLC patients with uncommon EGFR mutations.Methods: We retrospectively enrolled 504 patients with EGFR-mutant NSCLC.The clinical characteristics and treatment outcomes were collected and compared between patients with common and uncommon EGFR-mutant NSCLC.Results: Seventy patients(13.9%) harboring uncommon EGFR mutations were included.Thirty of these patients received EGFR-TKIs and 40 received platinum-based chemotherapy as first-line therapy.The objective response rate(ORR) and median progression-free survival(m PFS) of patients treated with TKIs in the uncommon mutation group was significantly inferior to that in the common mutation group(ORR: 23.3% vs.51.8%,P=0.003; m PFS:7.1 vs.10.9 months,P<0.001).In the uncommon group,m PFS was similar between first-line EGFR-TKIs treatment and platinum-based chemotherapy(7.1 vs.6.1 months,P=0.893).In patients with EGFR G719 X or L861 Q mutations,the m PFS was longer in the first-line EGFR-TKIs treatment group than in the chemotherapy group,but the difference was not statistically significant(G719 X: 8.2 vs.5.8 months,P=0.061; L861 Q: 7.6 vs.4.1 months,P=0.872).Multivariate analyses identified adenocarcinoma(P=0.003) as the independent predictive factor for PFS in patients with uncommon EGFR mutations who were treated with first-line EGFR-TKIs.Conclusions: The current study demonstrated that the effect of first-line EGFR-TKIs was similar to that of platinum-based chemotherapy in patients with uncommon EGFR-mutant NSCLC.Adenocarcinoma was the independent predictive factor for PFS in uncommon EGFR-mutant NSCLC patients treated with first-line EGFRTKIs.Jinpeng Shi Hui Yang Tao Jiang Xuefei Li Chao Zhao Limin Zhang Sha Zhao Xiaozhen Liu Yijun Jia Yan Wang Lei Xi Shijia Zhang Chunxia Su Shengxiang Ren Caicun Zhou 2017Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2017,29,6:6
6An online monitoring system for atmospheric nitrous acid(HONO) based on stripping coil and ion chromatography显示文摘A new instrument for measuring atmospheric nitrous acid(HONO) was developed,consisting of a double-wall glass stripping coil sampler coupled with ion chromatography(SC-IC).SC-IC is featured by small size(50 × 35 × 25 cm) and modular construction,including three independent parts:the sampling unit,the transfer and supporting unit,and the detection unit.High collection efficiency(> 99%) was achieved with 25 μmol/L Na2CO3 as absorption solution even in the presence of highly acidic compounds.This instrument has a detection limit of 8 pptv at 15 min time resolution,with a measurement uncertainty of 7%.Potential interferences from NOx,NO2+SO2,NO2+VOCs,HONO+O3,HNO3,peroxyacetyl nitrite(PAN) and particle nitrite were quantified in laboratory studies and were found to be insignificant under typical atmospheric conditions.Within the framework of the 3C-STAR project,inter-comparison between the SC-IC and LOPAP(long path liquid absorption photometer) was conducted at a rural site in the Pearl River Delta.Good agreement was achieved between the two instruments over three weeks.Both instruments determined a clear diurnal profile of ambient HONO concentrations from 0.1 to 2.5 ppbv.However,deviations were found for low ambient HONO concentrations(i.e.< 0.3 ppbv),which cannot be explained by previous investigated interference species.To accurately determine the HONO budget under illuminated conditions,more intercomparison of HONO measurement techniques is still needed in future studies,especially at low HONO concentrations.Peng Cheng Yafang Cheng Keding Lu Hang Su Qiang Yang Yikan Zou Yanran Zhao Huabing Dong Limin Zeng Yuanhang Zhang 2013Journal of Environmental Sciences2013,25,5:5

8Toxicity of substituted benzenes and algae (Scenedesmus obliquus) with solvation equation显示文摘Quantitative structure-activity relationships (QSARs) for the toxicity of substituted phenols, anilines and nitrobenzenes to algae (Scenedesmus obliquus) have been studied. Chemicals were divided into polar narcotics and electrophiles based on structure criteria according to the toxicity mechanisms of action. A good relationship between the toxicity and octanol/water partition coefficient (logP) was observed for the polar narcotic compounds. The results confirmed that hydrophobicity is the determining physicochemical parameter in modelling narcotics. However, no statistically significant mono-parametric QSAR models could be made from descriptors calculated in this study for all the compounds. In order to investigate the mechanisms of toxic action and develop QSAR models for all compounds, Abraham solvation descriptors were calculated from the program of Pharma-Algorithms. Stepwise regression produced a three-parameter QSAR model (polarizability/dipolarity, hydrogen-bond basicity and molecular volume) with a good statistical fit for all the compounds studied, which had square of the correlation coefficient R2=0.83. We have also developed an interpretable QSAR model by using parameter of logP, which represents the bio-uptake process, and polarizability/dipolarity (S), which represents the interaction of chemicals with the acceptor micromolecules (target receptor) at the active site. 9超深井高速率连续波MWD信道传输系统(英文)显示文摘At present,the MWD systems continuous wave mud pulse telemetry transmit is not faster than 1or 2bits/s from deep wells containing highly attenuative mud,because positive pulsers create strong signals but large axial flow forces impede fast reciprocation while mud sirens provide high data rates without higher signal strength.A high-data-rate system providing 10bits/s and operable up to30 000 ft is described,which creates strong source signals by using downhole constructive wave interference in two novel ways.Telemetry schemes,frequencies and pulser locations in the MWD drill collar are selected for positive wave phasing,and sirens-in-series are used to create additive signals——both without incurring power and erosion penalties.The positions normally occupied by pulsers and turbines are reversed to minimize times required for constructive interference and modulation.A system design approach is undertaken,e.g.,strong source signals are augmented with new multiple-transducer surface signal processing methods to remove mudpump noise and signal reflections at both pump and desurger,and mud,bottomhole assembly and drill pipe properties,to the extent possible in practice,are controlled to reduce signal attenuation.The results of detailed acoustic modeling in realistic drilling telemetry channels are described,and short and long wind tunnels for signal strength,torque,erosion and jamming testing,and telemetry and signal processing evaluation,respectively,are introduced.Special scaling methods are developed to extrapolate cost-effective wind tunnel test results to real muds flowing at any downhole speed.New siren concept prototype hardware and also typical acoustic test results are also given.Wilson CHIN SU Yinao SHENG Limin LI Lin BIAN Hailong SHI Rong 2014测井技术2014,38,6:3
10Effects of Logging Intensity on Structure and Composition of a Broadleaf-Korean Pine Mixed Forest on Changbai Mountains,Northeast China显示文摘In order to identify a harvesting model which is beneficial for broadleaf-Korean pine mixed forest(BKF) sustainability, we investigated four types of harvested stands which have been logged with intensities of 0(T0, control), 15%(T1, low intensity), 35%(T2, moderate intensity), and 100%(T3, clear-cutting), and examined the impacts of logging intensity on composition and structure of these stands. Results showed that there were no significant differences between T0 and T1 for all structural characteristics, except for density of seeding and large trees. The mean diameter at breast height(DBH, 1.3 m above the ground), stem density and basal area of large trees in T2 were significantly lower than in T0, while the density of seedlings and saplings were significantly higher in T2 than in T0. Structural characteristics in T3 were entirely different from T0. Dominant tree species in primary BKF comprised 93%, 85%, 45% and 10% of the total basal area in T0, T1, T2 and T3, respectively. Three community similarity indices, the Jaccard′s similarity coefficient(CJ); the Morisita-Horn index(CMH); and the Bray-Curtis index(CN), were the highest for T0 and T1, followed by T0 and T2, and T0 and T3, in generally. These results suggest that effects of harvesting on forest composition and structure are related to logging intensities. Low intensity harvesting is conductive to preserving forest structure and composition, allowing it to recover in a short time period. 12Spray,atomization and combustion characteristics of oxygenated fuels in a constant volume bomb:A review显示文摘Biofuels have extensive available resources and have an immense potential as promising alternative fuels for automobile.The application advantages of biofuels are mainly reflected as particulate matter(PM)reduction,carbon neutral,greenhouse gases reduction,waste utilization,energy and economic security,and fuel pluralism.Based on the understanding of molecular structure effects of biofuels on soot formation and particles morphology,the effects of alcohols,ethers,esters and biodiesel on spray and combustion process in constant volume bomb in recent years are retrospectively analyzed in this paper.For the mixture,macromolecular ester fuels and polyoxymethylene dimethyl ether(PODE)are conducive to the improvement of liquid spray,while biodiesel,small molecules,dimethyl ether(DME)and alcohols are reversed.Alcohols are advantageous to the extension of mixing time and the increasing of vapor-phase mixture.Through the influence integrated assessment,alcohols show the best performance on the spray,atomization and combustion,while biodiesels show the worst.But in terms of combustion,PODE is the best choice without considering spray and atomization.For binary alternative-diesel fuel blends,methanol or butanol is the best additive based on synthetically considerations on spray,atomization and combustion.To meet the requirements of the fuel application of diesel engine,ternary fuel or even quaternary fuel have been proposed and explored.This review can help to form a systematic understanding on fuel recombining and obtain the guide of clean and efficient fuel formulation for diesel engine.Peng Zhang Xin Su Chengshan Yi Hao Chen Hongming Xu Limin Geng 2020Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2020,7,3:2
13Single-atom Sn-Zn pairs in CuO catalyst promote dimethyldichlorosilane synthesis显示文摘Single-atom catalysts are of great interest because they can maximize the atom-utilization efficiency and generate unique catalytic properties;however,much attention has been paid to single-site active components,rarely to catalyst promoters.Promoters can significantly affect the activity and selectivity of a catalyst,even at their low concentrations in catalysts.In this work,we designed and synthesized CuO catalysts with atomically dispersed co-promoters of Sn and Zn.When used as the catalyst in the Rochow reaction for the synthesis of dimethyldichlorosilane,this catalyst exhibited much-enhanced activity,selectivity and stability compared with the conventional CuO catalysts with promoters in the form of nanoparticles.Density functional theory calculations demonstrate that single-atomic Sn substitution in the CuO surface can enrich surface Cu vacancies and promote dispersion of Zn to its atomic levels.Sn and Zn single sites as the co-promoters cooperatively generate electronic interaction with the CuO support,which further facilitates the adsorption of the reactant molecules on the surface,thereby leading to the superior catalytic performance.Qi Shi Yongjun Ji Wenxin Chen Yongxia Zhu Jing Li Hezhi Liu Zhi Li Shubo Tian Ligen Wang Ziyi Zhong Limin Wang Jianmin Ma Yadong Li Fabing Su 2020National Science Review2020,7,3:2
