2Lattice-Based Double-Authentication-Preventing Ring Signature for Security and Privacy in Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks显示文摘Amidst the rapid development of the Internet of Things (loT), Vehicular Ad-Hoc NETwork (VANET), a typical loT application, are bringing an ever-larger number of intelligent and convenient services to the daily lives of individuals. However, there remain challenges for VANETs in preserving privacy and security. In this paper, we propose the first lattice-based Double-Authentication-Preventing Ring Signature (DAPRS) and adopt it to propose a novel privacy-preserving authentication scheme for VANETs, offering the potential for security against quantum computers. The new construction is proven secure against chosen message attacks. Our scheme is more efficient than other ring signature in terms of the time cost of the message signing phase and verification phase, and also in terms of signature length. 3SIRT7 antagonizes human stem cell aging as a heterochromatin stabilizer显示文摘SIRT7,a sirtuin family member implicated in aging and disease,is a regulator of metabolism and stress responses.It remains elusive how human somatic stem cell populations might be impacted by SIRT7.Here,we found that SIRT7 expression declines during human mesenchymal stem cell(hMSC)aging and that SIRT7 deficiency accelerates senescence.Mechanistically,SIRT7 forms a complex with nuclear lamina proteins and heterochromatin proteins,thus maintaining the repressive state of heterochromatin at nuclear periphery.Accordingly,deficiency of SIRT7 results in loss of heterochromatin,derepression of the LINE1 retrotransposon(LINE1),and activation of innate immune signaling via the cGAS-STING pathway.These agingassociated cellular defects were reversed by overexpression of heterochromatin proteins or treatment with a LINE1 targeted reverse-transcriptase inhibitor.Together,these findings highlight how SIRT7 safeguards chromatin architecture to control innate immune regulation and ensure geroprotection during stem cell aging.Shijia Bi Zunpeng Liu Zeming Wu Zehua Wang Xiaoqian Liu Si Wang Jie Ren Yan Yao Weiqi Zhang Moshi Song Guang-Hui Liu Jing Qu 2020Protein & Cell2020,11,7:10
4The Influence of Extractable Organic Matter on Pore Development in the Late Triassic Chang 7 Lacustrine Shales, Yanchang Formation, Ordos Basin, China显示文摘To investigate the influence of extractable organic matter(EOM) on pore evolution of lacustrine shales, Soxhlet extraction, using dichloromethane, was performed on a series of Chang 7 shale samples(Ordos Basin, China) with vitrinite reflectance of 0.64% to 1.34%. Low-pressure gas adsorption experiments were conducted on the samples before and after extraction. The pore structure parameters were calculated from the gas adsorption data. The results show complex changes to the pore volumes and surface areas after extraction. The pore development of both the initial and extracted samples is strongly controlled by total organic carbon(TOC) content. Micropores developed mainly in organic matter(OM), while mesopores and macropores predominantly developed in fractions other than OM. The influence of EOM on micropores is stronger than on mesopores and macropores. 5Uncommon EGFR mutations in a cohort of Chinese NSCLC patients and outcomes of first-line EGFR-TKIs and platinum-based chemotherapy显示文摘Objective: Data on the clinical activity of epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKIs) in patients with non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC) and uncommon EGFR mutations remain insufficient.This study aimed to investigate the effect of first-line EGFR-TKIs or platinum-based chemotherapy in NSCLC patients with uncommon EGFR mutations.Methods: We retrospectively enrolled 504 patients with EGFR-mutant NSCLC.The clinical characteristics and treatment outcomes were collected and compared between patients with common and uncommon EGFR-mutant NSCLC.Results: Seventy patients(13.9%) harboring uncommon EGFR mutations were included.Thirty of these patients received EGFR-TKIs and 40 received platinum-based chemotherapy as first-line therapy.The objective response rate(ORR) and median progression-free survival(m PFS) of patients treated with TKIs in the uncommon mutation group was significantly inferior to that in the common mutation group(ORR: 23.3% vs.51.8%,P=0.003; m PFS:7.1 vs.10.9 months,P<0.001).In the uncommon group,m PFS was similar between first-line EGFR-TKIs treatment and platinum-based chemotherapy(7.1 vs.6.1 months,P=0.893).In patients with EGFR G719 X or L861 Q mutations,the m PFS was longer in the first-line EGFR-TKIs treatment group than in the chemotherapy group,but the difference was not statistically significant(G719 X: 8.2 vs.5.8 months,P=0.061; L861 Q: 7.6 vs.4.1 months,P=0.872).Multivariate analyses identified adenocarcinoma(P=0.003) as the independent predictive factor for PFS in patients with uncommon EGFR mutations who were treated with first-line EGFR-TKIs.Conclusions: The current study demonstrated that the effect of first-line EGFR-TKIs was similar to that of platinum-based chemotherapy in patients with uncommon EGFR-mutant NSCLC.Adenocarcinoma was the independent predictive factor for PFS in uncommon EGFR-mutant NSCLC patients treated with first-line EGFRTKIs.Jinpeng Shi Hui Yang Tao Jiang Xuefei Li Chao Zhao Limin Zhang Sha Zhao Xiaozhen Liu Yijun Jia Yan Wang Lei Xi Shijia Zhang Chunxia Su Shengxiang Ren Caicun Zhou 2017Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2017,29,6:6

7Multidrug-resistant Proteus mirabilis isolates carrying blaOXA-1 and blaNDM-1 from wildlife in China:increasing public health risk显示文摘The emergence of multidrug resistance(MDR)in Proteus mirabilis clinical isolates is a growing public health concern and has serious implications for wildlife.What is the role of wildlife has been become one of the hot issues in disseminating antimicrobial resistance.Here,54 P.mirabilis isolates from 12 different species were identified.Among them,25 isolates were determined to be MDR by profile of antimicrobial susceptibility;10 MDR P.mirabilis isolates were subjected to comparative genomic analysis by whole genome sequencing.Comprehensive analysis showed that chromosome of P.mirabilis isolates mainly carries multidrug-resistance complex elements harboring resistance to carbapenem genes blaOXA-1,blaNDM-1,and blaTEM-1.Class I integron is the insertion hotspot of IS26;it can be inserted into type I integron at different sites,thus forming a variety of multiple drug resistance decision sites.At the same time,Tn21,Tn7,and SXT/R391 mobile elements cause widespread spread of these drug resistance genes.In conclusion,P.mirabilis isolates from wildlife showed higher resistance to commonly used clinic drugs comparing to those from human.Therefore,wild animals carrying MDR clinical isolates should be paid attention to by the public health.Qian KANG Xue WANG Jianan ZHAO Zhihui LIU Fang JI Han CHANG Jianchun YANG Shijia HU Ting JIA Xiaojia WANG Jiagui TANG Guoying DONG Guocheng HU Jing WANG Yanyu ZHANG Jianhua QIN Chengmin WANG 2021Integrative Zoology2021,16,6:4
8Silica nanocone array as a template for fabricating a plasmon induced hot electron photodetector显示文摘Plasmon induced hot electrons have attracted a great deal of interest as a novel route for photodetection and lightenergy harvesting. Herein, we report a hot electron photodetector in which a large array of nanocones deposited sequentially with aluminum, titanium dioxide, and gold films can be integrated functionally with nanophotonics and microelectronics. The device exhibits a strong photoelectric response at around 620 nm with a responsivity of 180 μA/W under short-circuit conditions with a significant increase under 1 V reverse bias to 360 μA/W. The increase in responsivity and a red shift in the peak value with increasing bias voltage indicate that the bias causes an increase in the hot electron tunneling effect. 9Enhanced thermoelectric properties of hydrothermally synthesized n-type Se&Lu-codoped Bi2Te3显示文摘N-type Se&Lu-codoped Bi2Te3 nanopowders were prepared by hydrothermal method and sintered by spark plasma sintering technology to form dense samples.By further doping Se element into Lu-doped Bi2Te3 samples,the thickness of the nanosheets has the tendency to become thinner.The electrical conductivity of Lu0.1Bi1.9Te3−xSex material is reduced with the increasing Se content due to the reduced carrier concentration,while the Seeback coefficient values are enhanced.The lattice thermal conductivity of the Lu0.1Bi1.9Te3−xSex is greatly reduced due to the introduced point defects and atomic mass fluctuation.Finally,the Lu0.1Bi1.9Te2.7Se0.3 sample obtained a maximum ZT value of 0.85 at 420 K.This study provides a low-cost and simple low-temperature method to mass production of Se&Lu-codoped Bi2Te3 with high thermoelectric performance for practical applications.Xiaolei Shi Xin Ai Qihao Zhang Xiaofang Lu Shijia Gu Li Su Lianjun Wang Wan Jiang 2020Journal of Advanced Ceramics2020,9,4:2
10Ribonuclease H-like gene SMALL GRAIN2 regulates grain size in rice through brassinosteroid signaling pathway显示文摘Grain size is a key agronomic trait that determines the yield in plants.Regulation of grain size by brassinosteroids(BRs)in rice has been widely reported.However,the relationship between the BR signaling pathway and grain size still requires further study.Here,we isolated a rice mutant,named small grain2(sg2),which displayed smaller grain and a semi-dwarf phenotype.The decreased grain size was caused by repressed cell expansion in spikelet hulls of the sg2 mutant.Using map-based cloning combined with a Mut Map approach,we cloned SG2,which encodes a plant-specific protein with a ribonuclease H-like domain.SG2 is a positive regulator downstream of GLYCOGEN SYNTHASE KINASE2(GSK2)in response to BR signaling,and its mutation causes insensitivity to exogenous BR treatment.Genetical and biochemical analysis showed that GSK2 interacts with and phosphorylates SG2.We further found that BRs enhance the accumulation of SG2 in the nucleus,and subcellular distribution of SG2 is regulated by GSK2 kinase activity.In addition,Oryza sativa OVATE family protein 19(OsOFP19),a negative regulator of grain shape,interacts with SG2 and plays an antagonistic role with SG2 in controlling gene expression and grain size.Our results indicated that SG2 is a new component of GSK2-related BR signaling response and regulates grain size by interacting with Os OFP19.Yunshuai Huang Hui Dong Changling Mou Ping Wang Qixian Hao Min Zhang Hongmin Wu Fulin Zhang Tengfei Ma Rong Miao Kai Fu Yaping Chen Ziyan Zhu Cheng Chen Qikai Tong Zhuoran Wang Shirong Zhou Xi Liu Shijia Liu Yunlu Tian Ling Jiang Jianmin Wan 2022Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,10:1
11Conservation of weathered historic sandstone with biomimetic apatite显示文摘The conservation of weathered historic sandstone with apatite was studied.Based on the growth mechanism of bone,calcium and phosphorus were introduced into weathered sandstone and then mineralized at room temperature.The conservation efficiency was investigated by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),selected area electron diffraction(SAED),X-ray diffraction(XRD),and compressive strength,capillary water uptake,water vapor permeability and weather resistance tests.The SEM,EDX,TEM,SAED and XRD results showed that the produced hydroxyapatite could reunite the weathered stone blocks and provide sufficient reinforcement to hold them together.The results of the various tests indicated that the compressive strength and weather resistance of the treated samples was improved significantly.In addition,because of the porous nature of apatite,the water vapor permeability of the treated stone was not affected and its breathability was maintained.YANG FuWei LIU Yan ZHU YuanCheng LONG ShiJia ZUO GuoFang WANG ChangQing GUO Feng ZHANG BingJian JIANG SiWei 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,17:1
12Genetic dissection of top three leaf traits in rice using progenies from a japonica × indica cross显示文摘The size of the top three leaves of rice plants is strongly associated with yield; thus, it is important to consider quantitative traits representing leaf size(e.g.,length and width) when breeding novel rice varieties.It is challenging to measure such traits on a large scale in the field, and little is known about the genetic factors that determine the size of the top three leaves. In the present study, a population of recombinant inbred lines(RILs) and reciprocal single chromosomal segment substitution lines(SSSLs) derived from the progeny of a japonica Asominori ? indica IR24 cross were grown under four diverse environmental conditions. Six morphological traits associated with leaf size were measured,namely length and width of the flag, second and third leaves. In the RIL population, 49 QTLs were identified that clustered in 30 genomic region. Twenty-three of these QTLs were confirmed in the SSSL population. A comparison with previously reported genes/QTLs revealed eight novel genomic regions that contained uncharacterized ORFs associated with leaf size. 15Quantitative study on hydrocarbon expulsion mechanism based on micro-fracture显示文摘The significance of source rocks for oil and gas accumulation has been indisputably acknowledged.Moreover,it has been gradually realized that there is difference between hydrocarbon generation capacity and hydrocarbon expulsion capacity,and this has prompted research on hydrocarbon expulsion efficiency.However,these studies dominantly highlight the results of hydrocarbon expulsion,and investigation into the corresponding process and mechanism is primarily from a macroscopic perspective.Despite its wide acceptance as the most direct hydrocarbon expulsion mode,hydrocarbon expulsion through micro-fractures is still not sufficiently understood.Therefore,this study obtains observations and performs experiments on two types of source rocks(mudstones and shales)of the Chang 7 oil group of the Yanchang Formation in Ordos Basin,China.Microscopy reveals that organic matter is non-uniformly distributed in both types of source rocks.Specifically,mudstones are characterized by a cluster-like organic matter distribution,whereas shales are characterized by a layered organic matter distribution.Thermal evolution simulation experiments demonstrate that the hydrocarbon generation process is accompanied by the emergence of micro-fractures,which are favorable for hydrocarbon expulsion.Moreover,based on the theories of rock physics and fracture mechanics,this study establishes micro-fracture development models for both types of source rocks,associated with the calculation of the fracture pressure that is needed for the initiation of fracture development.Furthermore,the relationship between the fluid pressure,fracture pressure,and micro-fracture expansion length during micro-fracture development is quantitatively explored,which helps identify the micro-fracture expansion length.The results indicate that the development of micro-fractures is commonly impacted by the morphology and distribution pattern of the organic matter as well as the mechanical properties of the source rocks.The micro-fractures in turn further affect the hydrocarbon expulsion capacity of the source rocks.The results of this study are expected to provide theoretical and practical guidance for the exploration and exploitation of tight oil and shale oil.Kaiming Su Jungang Lu Huanxu Zhang Shijia Chen Yong Li Zhenglu Xiao Wen Qiu Meimei Han 2020Geoscience Frontiers2020,11,6:1

19A novel inhibitor of ARfl and ARv7 induces protein degradation to overcome enzalutamide resistance in advanced prostate cancer显示文摘Enzalutamide(ENZ) is a second-generation androgen receptor(AR) antagonist used for the treatment of castration-resistant prostate cancer(CRPC) and reportedly prolongs survival time within a year of starting therapy. However, CRPC patients can develop ENZ resistance(ENZR), mainly driven by abnormal reactivation of AR signaling, involving increased expression of the full-length AR(ARfl)or dominantly active androgen receptor splice variant 7(ARv7) and ARfl/ARv7 heterodimers. There is currently no efficient treatment for ENZR in CRPC. Herein, a small molecule LLU-206 was rationally designed based on the ENZ structure and exhibited potent inhibition of both ARfl and constitutively active ARv7 to inhibit PCa proliferation and suppress ENZR in CRPC. Mechanically, LLU-206 promoted ARfl/ARv7 protein degradation and decreased ARfl/ARv7 heterodimers through mouse double minute 2-mediated ubiquitination. Finally, LLU-206 exhibited favorable pharmacokinetic properties with poor permeability across the blood-brain barrier, leading to a lower prevalence of adverse effects, including seizure and neurotoxicity, than ENZ-based therapies. 20Bispecific aptamer-initiated 3D DNA nanomotor biosensor powered by DNAzyme and entropy-driven circuit for sensitive and specificity detection of lysozyme显示文摘Dynamic DNA nanodevices have gained tremendous attention due to their extraordinary inherent functionality and advantages,however,dynamic DNA nanodevices-based biosensors are still challenging due to their high reliance on proteases and limited amplification capabilities.Herein,exploiting bispecific aptamer as initiators for the first time,we developed a three-dimensional(3D)DNA nanomotor biosensor powered by DNAzyme and entropy-driven circuit for sensitive and specific detection of lysozyme,in which walking and rolling strategies are efficiently integrated to achieve excellent signal amplification capability.Benefiting from the high selectivity of bispecific aptamer,the 3D DNA nanomotor biosensor can respond to lysozyme with high specificity and operate at high speed to release signals.The whole process is independent of protease,avoiding the influence of adverse environment on the operation stability.Under optimal conditions,it can achieve a limit of detection as low as 0.01 pg/mL with an excellent linear range of 0.05 pg/mL–500 ng/mL for lysozyme.Furthermore,the proposed strategy revealed high accuracy in the analysis of real samples,indicating a great potential for the application of nanomotor biosensors to the detection of non-nucleic acid targets.Shuo Qi Yuhan Sun Xiaoze Dong Imran Mahmood Khan Yan Lv Yin Zhang Nuo Duan Shijia Wu Zhouping Wang 2023Nano Research2023,16,1:0
