| 2 | Geochemical characteristics and geological significance of the Neoproterozoic carbonates from northern Anhui Province, China显示文摘Petrographical and geochemical studies were carried out of the Neoproterozoic carbonates from northern Anhui Province, China. These carbonates can be subdivided into two types, including purified limestone (PL) and mixed limestone and siliclastic rocks (MLS). PLs are low in Si, Al, Zr and total REE but high in CaO compared with MLSs. Correlations between Zr, Fe2O3, P2O5 and total REE are also less remarkable, indicating that they were not obviously contaminated by continental materials but directly precipitated from seawater. So they can be used for the inversion of paleo-seawater REE patterns. The inversed results indicated that the REE pattern of Neoproterozoic seawater was similar to that of the modern seawater except for the lack of Ce depletion, which was probably affected by the reduced hydrothermal solution. In combination with previous studies, the geochemical trending of these carbonatic samples towards the continental arc in the La- Th-Sc and Th-Sc-Zr/10 diagrams is interpreted as the contamination of arc volcanism. | 3 | Micelle or polymersome formation by PCL-PEG-PCL copolymers as drug delivery systems显示文摘Polye-caprolactone)-b-poly(ethylene glycol)-b-poly(e-caprolactone)(PCL-b-PEG-b-PCL,PCEC) triblock copolymers have been widely investigated in last several decades.Here,by altering the weight ratio of monomers in ring-opening polymerization,a series of PCEC triblock copolymers with varying hydrophobicity were synthesized,which were characterized by FTIR,1 H NMR,GPC and DSC.When PCEC copolymers with different weight ratios of PCL/PEG were dispersed in different aqueous solutions,they could self-assemble and form two distinctive nanoparticular structures:micelles or polymersomes.We then chose paclitaxel(PTX) as the model drug and encapsulate PTX into PCEC polymeric micelles and polymersomes.The physicochemical characterizations of the nanoparticles such as morphology,the size and distribution,zeta potential,drug loading content,and encapsulation efficiency were also performed.Our results showed that polymeric micelles or polymersomes from PCEC both displayed narrow size distributions and could achieve high drug loading efficiencies.In vitro cellular uptake results suggested that Nile Red loaded polymeric micelles or polymersomes displayed more internalization after 24 h incubation than those after 4 h incubation.These findings suggest that polymeric micelles and polymersomes based on PCL-b-PEG-b-PCL copolymers have great potential to effectively delivery hydrophobic drugs. | Chunyan Hu Zhuo Chen Shengjie Wu Yanfeng Han Hai Wang Hongfan Sun Deling Kong Xigang Leng Chun Wang Linhua Zhang Dunwan Zhu | 2017 | Chinese Chemical Letters2017,28,9: | 4 |
| 4 | Geochemistry of sandstones from the Neoproterozoic Jinshanzhai Formation in northern Anhui Province, China: Provenance, weathering and tectonic setting显示文摘Sandstones from the Neoproterozoic Jinshanzhai Formation in northern Anhui Province, China, were analyzed for major oxides and trace elements to infer their provenance, the intensity of paleo-weathering of their source rocks and the depositional tectonic setting. Diagrams of (SiO2/20)-(Na2O+K2O)-(MgO+TiO2+FeO*), TiO2-Ni, Th-Hf-Co, Hf-La/Th and some ratios of elements indicate that felsic rocks constitute the source rocks in the provenance. The values of Chemical Index of Alteration (CIA) are low, which are considered to be affected by K-metasomatism. Whereas the high CIW (Chemical Index of Weathering) values indicate intensive weathering of the source material. Plots of sandstones on bivariate and triangle discriminant diagrams, as well as ICV (Index of Compositional Variation) values revealed that they were deposited on a passive continental margin or in an intra-plate basin. | 5 | Phylogenomic Insights into Deep Phylogeny of Angiosperms Based on Broad Nuclear Gene Sampling显示文摘Angiosperms(flowering plants)are the most diverse and species-rich group of plants.The vast majority(99.95%)of angiosperms form a clade called Mesangiospermae,which is subdivided into five major groups:eudicots,monocots,magnoliids,Chloranthales,and Ceratophyllales.The relationships among these Mesangiospermae groups have been the subject of long debate.In this study,we assembled a phylogenomic dataset of 1594 genes from 151 angiosperm taxa,including representatives of all five lineages,to investigate the phylogeny of major angiosperm lineages under both coalescent-and concatenationbased methods.We dissected the phylogenetic signal and found that more than half of the genes lack phylogenetic information for the backbone of angiosperm phylogeny.We further removed the genes with weak phylogenetic signal and showed that eudicots,Ceratophyllales,and Chloranthales form a clade,with magnoliids and monocots being the next successive sister lineages.Similar frequencies of gene tree conflict are suggestive of incomplete lineage sorting along the backbone of the angiosperm phylogeny.Our analyses suggest that a fully bifurcating species tree may not be the best way to represent the early radiation of angiosperms.Meanwhile,we inferred that the crown-group angiosperms originated approximately between 255.1 and 222.2 million years ago,and Mesangiospermae diversified into the five extant groups in a short time span(27 million years)at the Early to Late Jurassic. | Lingxiao Yang Danyan Su Xin Chang Charles SPFoster Linhua Sun Chien-Hsun Huang Xiaofan Zhou Liping Zeng Hong Ma Bojian Zhong | 2020 | Plant Communications2020,1,2: | 2 |
| 6 | Rare earth element geochemistry of groundwater from a deep seated sandstone aquifer,northern Anhui province,China显示文摘Deep coal mines in northern Anhui province,China,provide opportunities for tracing the distribution and fractionation of rare earth elements(REEs) in deep seated environments.Major ions,as well as REE concentrations were measured in groundwater from a sandstone aquifer located between-400 and-280 m.Our results indicate that this groundwater consists of Cl HCO3-Na or Cl CO3-Na water types with warm temperature(30.1-31.4 °C),circumneutral pH(7.27-8.61) and high levels of total dissolved solids(TDS = 1306-2165 mg/L).Concentrations of REEs in groundwater are high as expressed by their Nd concentrations(0.0086-0.018 lg/L).Except for weak heavy REEs(HREE) enrichment relative to light REEs(LREE),the similarity of REE distribution patterns between groundwater and aquifer rock indicate that enrichment of REEs is considered to be controlled by aquifer rock,as well as by their minerals,whereas the fractionation of REEs is controlled by HREE enriched minerals and,to a lesser extent,by inorganic REE complexes.Ce anomalies normalized to Post Archean Average Shale(PAAS) and aquifer rock are weak,which probably reflect the contribution of reduced conditions in combination with pH,rather than a signature of aquifer rock. | Gui Herong Sun Linhua Chen Luwang Chen Song | 2011 | Mining Science and Technology2011,21,4: | 2 |

| 13 | Geochemistry of Neoproterozoic mixosedimentite in northern Anhui and its geological significance显示文摘Major oxides,as well as trace elements (including rare earth elements) compositions have been analyzed for the mixosedimentites from Neoproterozoic Jiayuan Formation in northern Anhui,China. The results show that the concentrations of elements are closely related to the relative proportions of carbonates and terrigenous detritus (varying from 2/3 to 1/9 based on petrographic study). The ratios between some immobile elements (e.g. La,Th,Zr and Sc) are constant and then can be used as tracers for the discrimination of provenance and tectonic setting of terrigenous detritus. The results indicate that the terrigenous detritus mainly came from the felsic volcanics related to continental arc,with minor contribution from the old basement. | 14 | Genomic insights on the contribution of introgressions from Xian/Indica to the genetic improvement of Geng/Japonica rice cultivars显示文摘Hybridization between Xian/indica(XI)and Geng/japonica(GJ)rice combined with utilization of plant ideotypes has greatly contributed to yield improvements in modern GJ rice in China over the past 50 years.To explore the genomic basis of improved yield and disease resistance in GJ rice,we conducted a large-scale genomic landscape analysis of 816 elite GJ cultivars representing multiple eras of germplasm from China.We detected consistently increasing introgressions from three XI subpopulations into GJ cultivars since the 1980s and found that the XI genome introgressions significantly increased the grain number per panicle(GN)and decreased the panicle number per plant.This contributed to the improvement of plant type during modern breeding,changing multi-tiller plants tomoderate tiller plants with a large panicle size and increasing the blast resistance.Notably,we found that key gene haplotypes controlling plant architecture,yield components,and pest and disease resistance,including IPA1,SMG1,DEP3,Pib,Pi-d2,and Bph3,were introduced from XI rice by introgression.By GWAS analysis,we detected a GN-related gene Gnd5,which had been consistently introgressed from XI into GJ cultivars since the 1980s.Gnd5 is a GRAS transcription factor gene,and Gnd5 knockout mutants showed a significant reduction in GN.The estimated genetic effects of genes varied among different breeding locations,which explained the distinct introgression levels of XI gene haplotypes,including Gnd5,DEP3,etc.,to these GJ breeding pedigrees.These findings reveal the genomic contributions of introgressions from XI to the trait improvements of GJ rice cultivars and provide new insights for future rice genomic breeding. | Di Cui Han Zhou Xiaoding Ma Zechuan Lin Linhua Sun Bing Han Maomao Li Jianchang Sun Jin Liu Guixiu Jin Xianju Wang Guilan Cao Xing Wang Deng Hang He Longzhi Han | 2022 | Plant Communications2022,3,3: | 0 |

However, most of the methods have been statistical in nature, and spatial variability has not been considered simultaneously. In this study, the combined use of statistical and spatial methods has been carried out to analyse lead concentrations in the shallow groundwater in the urban area of Suzhou, northern Anhui Province, China. The environmental baseline of lead in the shallow groundwater has been evaluated to be3.836–8.240 lg/l after removal of either statistical or spatial outliers. | 17 | Molecular exchange and passivation at interface afford high-performing perovskite solar cells with efficiency over 24%显示文摘The interface is crucial for perovskite solar cells(PSCs).However,voids at interfaces induced by the trapped hygroscopic dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO)can reduce charge extraction and accelerate the film degradation,seriously damaging the efficiency and stability.In this work,4,4’-dinonyl-2,2’-dipyridine(DN-DP),a Lewis base with long alkyl chains is introduced to solve this problem.Theoretical calculated and experimental results confirm that the dipyridyl group on DN-DP can more strongly coordinate with Pb^(2+)than that of the S=O group on DMSO.The strong coordination effect plays a crucial role in removing the DMSO-based adduct and reducing the formation of voids.Due to the electron-donating properties of pyridine,the existence of DN-DP in the perovskite film can passivate the defects and optimize the energy level alignment of the perovskite configuration.The open-circuit voltage(VOC)of the DN-DP-based PSC is improved from 1.107 V(control device)to 1.153 V,giving rise to a power conversion efficiency(PCE)of24.02%.Furthermore,benefiting from the moisture resistance stemming from the hydrophobic nonyl group,the PCE retains 90.4%of the initial performance after 1000 h of storage in the ambient condition. | Jianjun Sun Wangchao Chen Yingke Ren Yunjuan Niu Zhiqian Yang Li'e Mo Yang Huang Zhaoqian Li Hong Zhang Linhua Hu | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,7: | 0 |

| 20 | Geochemical characteristics of REE in the Late Neo-proterozoic limestone from northern Anhui Province, China显示文摘Ten representative limestone samples [six from Wangshan Formation(WL) and the other four from Gouhou Formation(GL)] were collected from outcrops of the northern Anhui Province, and REE concentrations in limestone were measured by ICP-MS. The depositional environment and source of the REE were analyzed, and the results implys that the total REE of samples are low compared with the recent marine sediments, which range from 9.61 to 54.18 mg/kg and an average of 22.93 mg/kg. The PAAS-normalized REE+Y patterns of limestone are characterized by(1) light REE depletion in WL and enrichment in GL with the values of(Nd/Yb)SN ranging form 0.65 to 0.91 and 1.12 to 1.46, respectively;(2) light negative Ce anomaly(0.85–1.02) and positive La anomaly(0.92–1.27); and(3) both Eu(0.91–1.23) and Y(1.42–2.38) expressing light positive anomaly.
