| 1 | Population Genomic Analysis and De Novo Assembly Reveal the Origin of Weedy Rice as an Evolutionary Game显示文摘Crop weediness,especially that of weedy rice(Oryza sativa f.spontanea),remains mysterious.Weedy rice possesses robust ecological adaptability;however,how this strain originated and gradually formed proprietary genetic features remains unclear?Here,we demonstrate that weedy rice at Asian high latitudes(WRAH)is phylogenetically well defined and possesses unselected genomic characteristics in many divergence regions between weedy and cultivated rice.We also identified novel quantitative trait loci underlying weedy-specific traits,and revealed that a genome block on the end of chromosome 1 is associated with rice weediness.To identify the genomic modifications underlying weedy rice evolution,we generated the first de novo assembly of a high-quality weedy rice genome(WR04-6),and conducted a comparative genomics study between WR04-6 with other rice reference genomes.Multiple lines of evidence,including the results of demographic scenario comparisons,suggest that differentiation between weedy rice and cultivated rice was initiated by genetic improvement of cultivated rice and that the essence of weediness arose through semi-domestication.A plant height model further implied that the origin of WRAH can be modeled as an evolutionary game and indicated that strategy-based selection driven by fitness shaped its genomic diversity. | Jian Sun Dianrong Ma Liang Tang Minghui Zhao Guangchen Zhangh Wenjia Wang Jiayu Song Xiang Li Zimeng Liu Wenxing Zhang Quan Xu Yuncheng Zhou Jianzhong Wu Toshio Yamamoto Fei Dai Yan Lei Song Li Gang Zhou Hongkun Zheng Zhengjin Xu Wenfu Chen | 2019 | Molecular Plant2019,12,5: | 9 |

| 3 | Efficient alloy design of Sr-modified A356 alloys driven by computational thermodynamics and machine learning显示文摘A356 alloys are widely used in industries due to their excellent comprehensive performance.Sr is usually added in A356 alloys to improve their mechanical properties.There have been various experimental reports on the optimal additional amount of Sr in A356 alloys,but their results are inevitably inconsistent.In this paper,a combination of computational thermodynamic and machine learning approaches was employed to determine the optimal Sr content in A356 alloys with the best mechanical properties.First,a self-consistent thermodynamic database of quaternary Al-Si-Mg-Sr system was established by means of the Calculation of PHAse Diagram technique supported by key experiments.Second,the fractions for solidified phase/structures of A356-xSr alloys predicted by Scheil simulation,together with the measured mechanical properties were set as the input dataset in the machine learning model to train the relation of“composition-microstructure-properties”.The optimal addition of Sr in A356 alloy was designed as 0.005 wt.%and validated by key experiments.Furthermore,such a combinatorial approach can help to understand the strengthening/toughening mechanisms of Sr-modified A356 alloys.It is also anticipated that the present approach may provide a feasible means for efficient and accurate design of various casting alloys and understanding the alloy strengthening/toughening mechanisms. | Wang Yi Guangchen Liu Zhao Lu Jianbao Gao Lijun Zhang | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,17: | 3 |

| 13 | An Algorithm for Target Detection of Engineering Vehicles Based on Improved CenterNet显示文摘Aiming at the problems of low target image resolution,insufficient target feature extraction,low detection accuracy and poor real time in remote engineering vehicle detection,an improved CenterNet target detection model is proposed in this paper.Firstly,EfficientNet-B0 with Efficient Channel Attention(ECA)module is used as the basic network,which increases the quality and speed of feature extraction and reduces the number of model parameters.Then,the proposed Adaptive Fusion Bidirectional Feature Pyramid Network(AF-BiFPN)module is applied to fuse the features of different feature layers.Furthermore,the feature information of engineering vehicle targets is added by making full use of the high-level semantic and low-level fine-grained feature information of the target,which overcomes the problem that the original CenterNet network did not perform well in small target detection and improve the detection accuracy of the network.Finally,the tag coding strategy and bounding box regression method of CenterNet are optimized by introducing positioning quality loss.The accuracy of target prediction is increased by joint prediction of center position and target size.Experimental results show that the mean Average Precision(mAP)of the improved CenterNet model is 94.74%on the engineering vehicle dataset,and the detection rate is 29 FPS.Compared with the original CenterNet model based on ResNet-18,the detection accuracy of this model is improved by 16.29%,the detection speed is increased by 9 FPS,and the memory usage is reduced by 43 MB.Compared with YOLOv3 and YOLOv4,the mAP of this model is improved by 19.9%and 5.61%respectively.The proposed method can detect engineering vehicles more quickly and accurately in far distance.It has obvious advantages in target detection compared with traditional methods. | Pingping Yu Hongda Wang Xiaodong Zhao Guangchen Ruan | 2022 | Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,11: | 0 |

| 15 | Dynamic Meta-Modeling Method to Assess Stochastic Flutter Behavior in Turbomachinery显示文摘With increasing design demands of turbomachinery,stochastic flutter behavior has become more prominent and even appears a hazard to reliability and safety.Stochastic flutter assessment is an effective measure to quantify the failure risk and improve aeroelastic stability.However,for complex turbomachinery with multiple dynamic influencing factors(i.e.,aeroengine compressor with time-variant loads),the stochastic flutter assessment is hard to be achieved effectively,since large deviations and inefficient computing will be incurred no matter considering influencing factors at a certain instant or the whole time domain.To improve the assessing efficiency and accuracy of stochastic flutter behavior,a dynamic meta-modeling approach(termed BA-DWTR)is presented with the integration of bat algorithm(BA)and dynamic wavelet tube regression(DWTR).The stochastic flutter assessment of a typical compressor blade is considered as one case to evaluate the proposed approach with respect to condition variabilities and load fluctuations.The evaluation results reveal that the compressor blade has 0.95% probability to induce flutter failure when operating 100% rotative rate at t=170 s.The total temperature at rotor inlet and dynamic operating loads(vibrating frequency and rotative rate)are the primary sensitive parameters on flutter failure probability.Bymethod comparisons,the presented approach is validated to possess high-accuracy and highefficiency in assessing the stochastic flutter behavior for turbomachinery. | Bowei Wang Wenzhong Tang Lukai Song Guangchen Bai | 2022 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2022,,10: | 0 |
| 16 | CNN-LSTM based on attention mechanism for brake pad remaining life prediction显示文摘In order to predict the remaining service life of brake pads accurately and efficiently,and to achieve intelligent warning,this paper proposes a CNN-LSTM brake pad remaining life prediction model based on an attention mechanism.The model constructs a non-linear relationship between brake pad features such as brake temperature,brake oil pressure and brake speed and brake pad wear data through convolutional neural network(CNN)and long and short term memory network(LSTM),as well as capturing the time dependence that exists in the brake pad wear sequence.The attention mechanism is also introduced to assign different weight values to the features output from multiple historical moments,highlighting the features with high saliency and avoiding the influence of invalid features,so as to improve the prediction effect of the remaining brake pad life.The results show that the proposed CNN-LSTM-Attention model can effectively predict the remaining life of brake pads,with the mean absolute error MAE value of 0.0048,root mean square error RMSE value of 0.0059 and coefficient of determination R2 value of 0.9636;and compared with the BP model,CNN model,LSTM model and CNN-LSTM model,the coefficient of determination R2 values are closest to 1,with an improvement of 8.26%,5.25%,3.99%and 1.85%respectively,enabling more effective monitoring and intelligent warning of the remaining brake pad life. | Shuo WANG Zhenliang YU Guangchen XU Sisi CHEN | 2022 | Mechanical Engineering Science2022,4,2: | 0 |
