1A survey of remote sensing-based aboveground biomass estimation methods in forest ecosystems显示文摘Remote sensing-based methods of aboveground biomass(AGB)estimation in forest ecosystems have gained increased attention,and substantial research has been conducted in the past three decades.This paper provides a survey of current biomass estimation methods using remote sensing data and discusses four critical issues–collection of field-based biomass reference data,extraction and selection of suitable variables from remote sensing data,identification of proper algorithms to develop biomass estimation models,and uncertainty analysis to refine the estimation procedure.Additionally,we discuss the impacts of scales on biomass estimation performance and describe a general biomass estimation procedure.Although optical sensor and radar data have been primary sources for AGB estimation,data saturation is an important factor resulting in estimation uncertainty.LIght Detection and Ranging(lidar)can remove data saturation,but limited availability of lidar data prevents its extensive application.This literature survey has indicated the limitations of using single-sensor data for biomass estimation and the importance of integrating multi-sensor/scale remote sensing data to produce accurate estimates over large areas.More research is needed to extract a vertical vegetation structure(e.g.canopy height)from interferometry synthetic aperture radar(InSAR)or optical stereo images to incorporate it into horizontal structures(e.g.canopy cover)in biomass estimation modeling.Dengsheng Lu Qi Chen Guangxing Wang Lijuan Liu Guiying Li Emilio Moran 2016International Journal of Digital Earth2016,9,1:17
2In vivo theranostics with near-infraredemitting carbon dots—highly efficient photothermal therapy based on passive targeting after intravenous administration显示文摘Carbon dots that exhibit near-infrared fluorescence(NIR CDs)are considered emerging nanomaterials for advanced biomedical applications with low toxicity and superior photostability and targeting compared to currently used photoluminescence agents.Despite progress in the synthesis of NIR CDs,there remains a key obstacle to using them as an in vivo theranostic agent.This work demonstrates that the newly developed sulfur and nitrogen codoped NIR CDs are highly efficient in photothermal therapy(PTT)in mouse models(conversion efficiency of 59%)and can be readily visualized by photoluminescence and photoacoustic imaging.The real theranostic potential of NIR CDs is enhanced by their unique biodistribution and targeting.Contrary to all other nanomaterials that have been tested in biomedicine,they are excreted through the body’s renal filtration system.Moreover,after intravenous injection,NIR CDs are accumulated in tumor tissue via passive targeting,without any active species such as antibodies.Due to their accumulation in tumor tissue without the need for intratumor injection,high photothermal conversion,excellent optical and photoacoustic imaging performance,and renal excretion,the developed CDs are suitable for transfer to clinical biomedical practice.Xin Bao Ye Yuan Jingqin Chen Bohan Zhang Di Li Ding Zhou Pengtao Jing Guiying Xu Yingli Wang Kateřina Holá Dezhen Shen Changfeng Wu Liang Song Chengbo Liu Radek Zbořil Songnan Qu 2018Light(Science & Applications)2018,7,1:13
3Magnetoresistance enhancement and temperature stability of magnetoresistance in La_(1-x)(Sr_(1-y)Na_y)_xMnO_3显示文摘A series of the samples La_(1-x)(Sr_(1-y)Na_y)_xMnO_3(y=0.0,0.2,0.4,0.6,0.8,1.0) were prepared by the solid-state reaction method.Magnetoresistance enhancement and temperature stability of magnetoresistance in the system La_(1-x)(Sr_(1-y)Na_y)_xMnO_3 with unchanged Mn^(3+)/Mn^(4+) ratio through the doping of both monovalent and divalent elements at A site were studied through the measurements of X-ray diffraction(XRD) patterns,resistivity-temperature(ρ-T) curves and magnetoresistance-temperature(MR-T) curves.The results indicate that with the increase of Na doping amount,the peak value of MR increases,and it increases from 12.4% for y=0.2 to 50.6% for y=1.0 in the magnetic field B=0.8 T;ρ-T curves exhibit the double-peak phenomenon,which comes from the competition between the resistivity of surface phase and that of body phase;for the sample of y=0.8,MR increases slowly from 8.3% to 9.4% in the temperature range from 259 to 179 K,and MR is so stable in such a wide temperature range,which provides reference for the research on the temperature stability of MR.Wang, Guiying Yan, Guoqing Yang, Jie Wang, Wenqi Tang, Yonggang Song, Qixiang Zhang, Mingyu Peng, Zhensheng 2012Rare Metals2012,31,4:13
4Effect of aerial spray adjuvant applying on the efficiency of small unmanned aerial vehicle for wheat aphids control显示文摘Small unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)have been widely used in different aspects of modern farming management,including pest and disease control in China in recent years.In this study,the spray performance of a small plant protection UAV at low volume spray was evaluated by adjusting the pesticide dosage and adding aerial spraying adjuvants.Droplet deposition,droplet density,coverage,control effect and pesticide residue from field trials were assessed.In addition,the residue and control effect of UAV spray were compared to manual knapsack at high volume spray.The results showed that,the adjuvant applying improved the efficiency of UAV spray.Also,the adjuvant applying reduced the dosage of imidacloprid by 20%.However,there was no significant difference on initial residue between UAV spray and knapsack spray.Thus,plant protection UAV spraying pesticide by adding appropriate adjuvant showed the ability of improving the pesticide effectiveness by improving the control efficiency,reducing the pesticide dosage and residue.Yanhua Meng Yubin Lan Guiying Mei Yongwang Guo Jianli Song Zhiguo Wang 2018International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,5:13
5Enhancement of room-temperature magnetoresistance in La_(0.5)Sm_(0.2)Sr_(0.3)MnO_3/(Ag_2O)_(x/2)显示文摘La0.5Sm0.2Sr0.3MnO3/(Ag2O)x/2 (x = 0.00, 0.04, 0.08, 0.25, 0.30) samples were prepared by the solid-state reaction method, and their transport behaviors, transport mechanism, and magnetoresistance effect were studied through the measurement and fitting of ρ-T curves. The results show that the element Ag takes part in reaction when the doping amount is small. Ag is mainly distributed at the grain boundary of the host material and is in metallic state when the doping amount is relatively large; then the system becomes a two-phase composite. A small amount of Ag doping can apparently increase grain-boundary magnetoresistance induced by the spin-dependent scattering. The resistivity of the sample doped with 30 mol% Ag is one order of magnitude smaller than that of low-doped samples, and its magnetoresistance in the magnetic field of 0.5 T and at 300 K is strengthened apparently reaching 9.4%, which is connected not only with the improvement of the grain-boundary structure of the host material but also with the decrease of material resistivity.PENG Zhensheng WANG Guiying TANG Yonggang LIU Peng NIU Xiaofei 2010Rare Metals2010,29,1:10
6Enhancement of room-temperature magnetoresistance in La_(0.6)Dy_(0.1)Sr_(0.3)MnO_3/Ag_x显示文摘The samples of La0.6Dy0.1Sr0.3MnO3/(Ag2O)x/2(x = 0.00, 0.02, 0.04, 0.06, 0.08, 0.10, 0.20, 0.25, and 0.30) were prepared by using the solid-state reaction method.Their magnetic property, transport behavior, transport mechanism and magnetoresistance effect were studied through the measurements of magnetization-temperature(M-T) curves, ρ-T curves and the fitting of ρ-T curves.The results indicated that Ag could take part in the reaction when the doping amount is small.However, when the doping amount is comparatively large, Ag as metallic state mainly deposits on the grain boundary of La0.6Dy0.1Sr0.3MnO3, and then the system forms a two-phase composite.When the Ag doping amount is 30% mole ratio, the resistivity of the sample is one order of magnitude smaller than that of low doped samples, and its peak of magnetoresistance at 292 K and in the magnetic field of 0.2 T strengthens apparently and reaches 16.3%, which is over 7 times as large as 2.2% of La0.6Dy0.1Sr0.3MnO3.The two-phase composite system of magnetoresistance based on perovskite manganite consists of two parts:intrinsic magnetoresistance and extrinsic magnetoresistance.However, extrinsic magnetoresistance comes from spin-dependent scattering(SDS) and spin-polarized tunneling(SPT).Magnetoresistance near TC increases due to the contribution of intrinsic magnetoresistance and extrinsic magnetoresistance formed by SDS, and magnetoresistance at low temperature is extrinsic magnetoresistance formed by SPT.SONG Qixiang NIU Xiaofei WANG Guiying TANG Yonggang CAI Zhirang PENG Zhensheng 2010Rare Metals2010,29,2:10

8Transplantation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells improves cognitive deficits and alleviates neuropathology in animal models of Alzheimer’s disease: a meta-analytic review on potential mechanisms显示文摘Background Alzheimer’s disease is a neurodegenerative disorder.Therapeutically,a transplantation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMMSCs)can play a beneficial role in animal models of Alzheimer’s disease.However,the relevant mechanism remains to be fully elucidated.Main body Subsequent to the transplantation of BMMSCs,memory loss and cognitive impairment were significantly improved in animal models with Alzheimer’s disease(AD).Potential mechanisms involved neurogenesis,apoptosis,angiogenesis,inflammation,immunomodulation,etc.The above mechanisms might play different roles at certain stages.It was revealed that the transplantation of BMMSCs could alter some gene levels.Moreover,the differential expression of representative genes was responsible for neuropathological phenotypes in Alzheimer’s disease,which could be used to construct gene-specific patterns.Conclusions Multiple signal pathways involve therapeutic mechanisms by which the transplantation of BMMSCs improves cognitive and behavioral deficits in AD models.Gene expression profile can be utilized to establish statistical regression model for the evaluation of therapeutic effect.The transplantation of autologous BMMSCs maybe a prospective therapy for patients with Alzheimer’s disease.Chuan Qin Yalan Lu Kewei Wang Lin Bai Guiying Shi Yiying Huang Yongning Li 2020Translational Neurodegeneration2020,9,2:9
9Low-field magnetoresistance of (1-x)La_(0.6)Dy_(0.1)Sr_(0.3)MnO_3/0.5x (Sb_2O_3) composite system under different sintering temperatures of matrix显示文摘A series of (1-x)La0.6Dy0.1Sr0.3MnO3/0.5x(Sb2O3)(x=0.15) samples were prepared by the solid-state reaction method, and the influence of sintering temperature of the matrix on low-field magnetoresistance of (1-x)La0.6Dy0.1Sr0.3MnO3/0.5x (Sb2O3) was studied through the measurements of X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns, scanning electron microscope (SEM) image, resistivity-temperature (ρ-T) curves, and magnetoresistance-temperature (MR-T) curves. The results indicate that for the samples with low sintering temperature of the matrix, lowfield magnetoresistance effect appears on the whole temperature range and can be explained by grain boundary effect; for the sample with high sintering temperature of the matrix, intrinsic magnetoresistance peak appears on the high-temperature range, low-field magnetore-sistance effect appears on low temperature range, and the magnetoresistance in the magnetic field of 0.2 T and on the comparatively large temperature range between 280 K and 225 K hardly changes with temperature and remains at 4.8%, which can be explained by the competition between the intrinsic magnetoresistance induced by double-exchange function inside grains and the tunneling magnetoresis-tance (TMR) induced by grain boundary effect. 11Photocatalytic defluorination of perfluorooctanoic acid by surface defective BiOCl:Fast microwave solvothermal synthesis and photocatalytic mechanisms显示文摘There is an urgent need for developing cost-effective methods for the treatment of perfluorooctanoic acid(PFOA)due to its global emergence and potential risks.In this study,taking surface-defective BiOCl as an example,a strategy of surface oxygen vacancy modulation was used to promote the photocatalytic defluorination efficiency of PFOA under simulated sunlight irradiation.The defective BiOCl was fabricated by a fast microwave solvothermal method,which was found to induce more surface oxygen vacancies than conventional solvothermal and precipitation methods.As a result,the asprepared BiOCl showed significantly enhanced defluorination efficiency,which was 2.7 and33.8 times higher than that of BiOCl fabricated by conventional solvothermal and precipitation methods,respectively.Mechanistic studies indicated that the defluorination of PFOA follows a direct hole(h^+)oxidation pathway with the aid of·OH,while the oxygen vacancies not only promote charge separation but also facilitate the intimate contact between the photocatalyst surface and PFOA by coordinating with its terminal carboxylate group in a bidentate or bridging mode.This work will provide a general strategy of oxygen vacancy modulation by microwave-assisted methods for efficient photocatalytic defluorination of PFOA in the environment using sunlight as the energy source.Yuanyuan Sun Guiying Li Wanjun Wang Wenquan Gu Po Keung Wong Taicheng An 2019Journal of Environmental Sciences2019,31,10:7
12Destruction of charge ordering phase in La_(0.4)Ca_(0.6)MnO_3 induced by low Cr doping显示文摘Polycrystalline samples of La0.4Cao.6Mn1-xCrxO3 (x = 0.00, 0.02, 0.04, 0.06) were prepared by the solid state reaction method. The influence of Cr3+ substitution for Mn3+ on the magnetic property and charge ordering phase of La0.4Ca0.6MnO3 was studied through the measurements of X-ray diffraction (XRD), magnetization-temperature (M-T) curves and electron spin resonance (ESR) spectra. The experimental results indicate that the mother's body of La0.4Ca0.6MnO3 has very complicated magnetic structure, exhibits charge ordering phase at 258 K, and shows long-range strongly correlated charge ordering-antiferromagnetism (CO-AFM) phase from 175 to 50 K. Spin glass state appears when the temperature decreases to about 41 K. When the Cr substitution amount is x = 0.06, the charge ordering phase of the mother's body is de-stroyed, because the Cr3+ substitution for Mn3+ destroys the spin order of CE-type antiferromagnetism, and thus leads to the melting of charge ordering. 15Introduction of pokeweed antiviral protein cDNA into Brassica napus and acquisition of transgenic plants resistant to viruses显示文摘Using cotyledonary petioles as explants, the PAP cDNA controlled by wound-in-ducible promoter has been introduced into Brassica napus by coculture with Agrobacterium tumefaciens and laser microbeam puncture respectively. Regenerated plants resistant to gen-tamycin have been selected out. PCR amplification and Southern blotting analysis indicated that PAP cDNA together with wound-inducible promoter had been integrated into Brassica genome with transformation frequencies of 2.0% and 1.7% for two transformation methods respectively. 16Modal structure and propagation of internal tides in the northeastern South China Sea显示文摘The evolution of energy, energy flux and modal structure of the internal tides (ITs) in the northeastern South China Sea is examined using the measurements at two moorings along a cross-slope section from the deep continental slope to the shallow continental shelf. The energy of both diurnal and semidiurnal ITs clearly shows a ~14-day spring-neap cycle, but their phases lag that of barotropic tides, indicating that ITs are not generated on the continental slope. Observations of internal tidal energy flux suggest that they may be generated at the Luzon Strait and propagate west-northwest to the continental slope in the northwestern SCS. Because the continental slope is critical-supercritical with respect to diurnal ITs, about 4.6 kJ/m^2 of the incident energy and 8.7 kW/m of energy flux of diurnal ITs are reduced from the continental slope to the continental shelf. In contrast, the semidiurnal internal tides enter the shelf because of the sub-critical topography with respect to semidiurnal ITs. From the continental slope to the shelf, the vertical structure of diurnal ITs shows significant variation, with dominant Mode 1 on the deep slope and dominant higher modes on the shelf. 17Energy Anaiysis for TMD-Structure Systems Subjected to Impact Loading显示文摘This paper investigates the characteristics of reduction of the lateral vibration by use of a Tuned Mass Damper(TMD) for offshore jacket platforms under impact loading. Unlike traditional analysis, the present analysis focnses on theenergy concept of TMD/structure systems. In this study, a time domain is taken. The platform is modeled as a simplifiedsingle-degree-of-freedom (SDOF) system by extraction of the first vibration mode of the structure and the excited force isassumed to be impact loading. The energy dissipation and energy transmission of the structure-TMD system are studied.Finally, an optimized TMD design for the modeled platform is demonstrated based on a new type of cost function - maxi-mum dissipated energy by TMD. 18Organosilicon modified method to improve Li^+ storage capacity of graphene oxide (GO)显示文摘Organosilicon modified reduced graphene oxide(Mr GO) has been fabricated by direct organosilicon modification of graphene oxide(GO). Interestingly,it is observed that 3D rGO-like structures occurred after directly carrying out the organosilicon modification on the surface of GO. The obtained organosilicon Mr GO displays the more remarkable improvement of electrochemical performances than GO,which was verified by electrochemical measurements in detail. For instance,the organosilicon MrGO shows the cycling performances at 901 mA hg^-1 after 200 cycles at 0.1 Ag^-1 and 446 mA hg^-1 after 300 cycles at 2.0 Ag^-1,respectively. 20One-step preparation of polyimide-inlaid amine-rich porous organic block copolymer for efficient removal of chlorophenols from aqueous solution显示文摘A novel polyimide-inlaid amine-rich porous organic block copolymer(PI-b-ARPOP) was prepared via one-step polymerization by using different molar ratios of melamine(MA)/terephthalaldehyde(TA)/pyromellitic dianhydride(PMDA), at molar ratios of 4/3/1, 4/2/2 and 4/1/3. The copolymer contained both aminal groups belonging to ARPOP and imide groups belonging to PI, and the bonding styles of the monomers and growth orientations of the polymeric chains were diversiform, forming an excellent porous structure. Notably, MA/TA/PMDA(4/2/2) had a surface area and pore volume of 487.27 m^2/g and 1.169 cm^3/g,respectively. The adsorption performance of the materials towards 2,4-dichlorophenol(2,4-DCP) in ultra-pure water was systematically studied. The pH value of 7 was optimal in aqueous solution. Na^+ and Cl^-ions did not negatively affect the adsorption process, while humic acid(HA) slightly decreased the capacity. The equilibrium time was 40 sec, and the maximum adsorption capacity reached 282.49 mg/g at 298 K. The removal process was endothermic and spontaneous, and the copolymer could maintain its porous structure and consistent performance after regeneration by treatment with alkali. Moreover, to further assess the practical applicability of the material, the adsorption performance towards 2,4-DCP in river water was also investigated.
