1Numerical simulation of land subsidence and verification of its character for an iron mine using sublevel caving显示文摘Combined with a digital bored photography system and in-situ statistics concerning the joints and fissures of both ore-body and surrounding rock,a 2D discrete model was constructed using UDEC.The stress field and displacement field changes of different sublevel stoping systems were also studied.Changes in the overlying rock strata settlement pattern has been analyzed and validated by in-situ monitoring data.The results show that:in the caving process,there exists an obvious delay and jump for the overlying rock strata displacement over time,and a stable arch can be formed in the process of caving,which leads to hidden goafs.Disturbed by the mining activity,a stress increase occurred in both the hanging wall and the foot wall,demonstrating a hump-shaped distribution pattern.From the comparison between simulation results and in-situ monitoring results,land subsidence shows a slow-development,suddenfailure,slow-development cycle pattern,which leads eventually to a stable state.This pattern validates the existence of balanced arch and hidden goafs.Cao Shuai Song Weidong Deng Dan Lei Yuankun Lan Jianqiang 2016International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2016,26,2:9
2Hierarchical CuCo_2O_4@nickel-cobalt hydroxides core/shell nanoarchitectures for high-performance hybrid supercapacitors显示文摘Ni_(0.5)Co_(0.5)(OH)_2 nanosheets coated CuCo_2O_4 nanoneedles arrays were successfully designed and synthesized on carbon fabric. The core/shell nanoarchitectures directly served as the binder-free electrode with a superior capacity of 295.6 mAh g^(-1) at 1 Ag^(-1), which still maintained 220 mAh g^(-1) even at the high current density of 40 Ag^(-1), manifesting their enormous potential in hybrid supercapacitor devices. The asassembled CuCo_2O_4@Ni_(0.5)Co_(0.5)(OH)_2//AC hybrid supercapacitor device exhibited favorable properties with the specific capacitance as high as 90 Fg^(-1) at 1 Ag^(-1) and the high energy density of 32 Wh kg^(-1) at the power density of 800 Wkg^(-1). 3Genome-wide CRISPR screen identifies synthetic lethality between DOCK1 inhibition and metformin in liver cancer显示文摘Metformin is currently a strong candidate anti-tumor agent in multiple cancers.However,its anti-tumor effectiveness varies among different cancers or sub-populations,potentially due to tumor heterogeneity.It thus remains unclear which hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)patient subpopulation(s)can benefit from met-formin treatment.Here,through a genome-wide CRISPR-Cas9-based knockout screen,we find that DOCK1 levels determine the anti-tumor effects of met-formin and that DOCK1 is a synthetic lethal target of metformin in HCC.Mechanistically,metformin promotes DOCK1 phosphorylation,which activates RAC1 to facilitate cell survival,leading to metformin resistance.The DOCK1-selective inhibitor,TBOPP,potentiates anti-tumor activity by metformin in vitro in liver cancer cell lines and patient-derived HCC organoids,and in vivo in xenografted liver cancer cells and immunocompetent mouse liver cancer models.Notably,metformin improves overall survival of HCC patients with low DOCK1 levels but not among patients with high DOCK1 expression.This study shows that metformin effective-ness depends on DOCK1 levels and that combining metformin with DOCK1 inhibition may provide a promising personalized therapeutic strategy for met-formin-resistant HCC patients.Junru Feng Hui Lu Wenhao Ma Wenjing Tian Zhuan Lu Hongying Yang Yongping Cai Pengfei Cai Yuchen Sun Zilong Zhou Jiaqian Feng Jiazhong Deng Ying Shu Kun Qu Weidong Jia Ping Gao Huafeng Zhang 2022Protein & Cell2022,13,11:5

5High resolution range profile analysis based on multicarrier phase-coded waveforms of OFDM radar显示文摘Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) radar with multicarrier phase-coded waveforms has been recently introduced to achieve high range resolution.The conventional method for obtaining the high resolution range profile(HRRP) is based on matched filters.A method of synthesizing HRRP based on the fast Fourier transform(FFT) and decoding is proposed.The mathematical expressions of HRRP are derived by assuming an elementary scenario of point-scattering targets.Based on the characteristic of OFDM multicarrier signals,it mainly analyzes the influence on HRRP exerted by several factors,such as velocity compensation errors,the sampling frequency offset,and so on.The conclusions are significant for the design of the OFDM imaging radar.Finally,the simulation results demonstrate the validity of the conclusions.Kai Huo Bin Deng Yongxiang Liu Weidong Jiang Junjie Mao 2011Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2011,22,3:5
6Effect of Mn content on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg–6Li–4Zn-xMn alloys显示文摘The as-cast Mg–6Li–4Zn-x Mn alloys were prepared and extruded at 280℃with an extrusion ratio of 25:1.The effects of Mn content on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg–6Li–4Zn-x Mn alloys were investigated in this study.The XRD results show that Mg–6Li–4Zn–x Mn alloys consisted ofα-Mg(hcp)+β-Li(bcc)duplex structured matrix,Mg Li_(2)Zn and Mn phases.The grains of the extruded Mg–6Li–4Zn–x Mn alloys were refined by dynamic recrystallization during the extrusion process.The EBSD results show that the extruded alloys had basal textures.The grain size of the extruded alloys decreased while the basal texture was strengthened with the increasing Mn addition.The TEM results show that a large amount of nanoscale Mn precipitates existed in the extruded Mg–6Li–4Zn–1.2 Mn alloy,which can effectively inhibit the dynamic recrystallized(DRXed)grains growth during the hot extrusion and is beneficial to the improvement of mechanical properties.Mg–6Li–4Zn–1.2 Mn alloy in this research possesses the best mechanical properties with the ultimate tensile strength and yield strength of 321 MPa,250 MPa,respectively.Hongju Deng Yan Yang Minmin Li Xiaoming Xiong Guobing Wei Weidong Xie Bin Jiang Xiaodong Peng Fusheng Pan 2021Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2021,31,4:3
7Spirulina platensis aqueous extracts ameliorate colonic mucosal damage and modulate gut microbiota disorder in mice with ulcerative colitis by inhibiting inflammation and oxidative stress显示文摘Ulcerative colitis(UC)is a chronic and recurrent inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)that has become a major gastroenterologic problem during recent decades.Numerous complicating factors are involved in UC development such as oxidative stress,inflammation,and microbiota disorder.These factors exacerbate damage to the intestinal mucosal barrier.Spirulina platensis is a commercial alga with various biological activity that is widely used as a functional ingredient in food and beverage products.However,there have been few studies on the treatment of UC using S.platensis aqueous extracts(SP),and the underlying mechanism of action of SP against UC has not yet been elucidated.Herein,we aimed to investigate the modulatory effect of SP on microbiota disorders in UC mice and clarify the underlying mechanisms by which SP alleviates damage to the intestinal mucosal barrier.Dextran sulfate sodium(DSS)was used to establish a normal human colonic epithelial cell(NCM460)injury model and UC animal model.The mitochondrial membrane potential assay 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide(MTT)and staining with Annexin V-fluorescein isothiocyanate(FITC)/propidium iodide(PI)and Hoechst 33258 were carried out to determine the effects of SP on the NCM460 cell injury model.Moreover,hematoxylin and eosin(H&E)staining,transmission electron microscopy(TEM),enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qPCR),western blot,and 16S ribosomal DNA(rDNA)sequencing were used to explore the effects and underlying mechanisms of action of SP on UC in C57BL/6 mice.In vitro studies showed that SP alleviated DSS-induced NCM460 cell injury.SP also significantly reduced the excessive generation of intracellular reactive oxygen species(ROS)and prevented mitochondrial membrane potential reduction after DSS challenge.In vivo studies indicated that SP administration could alleviate the severity of DSS-induced colonic mucosal damage compared with the control group.Inhibition of inflammation and oxidative stress was associated with increases in the activity of antioxidant enzymes and the expression of tight junction proteins(TJs)post-SP treatment.SP improved gut microbiota disorder mainly by increasing antioxidant enzyme activity and the expression of TJs in the colon.Our findings demonstrate that the protective effect of SP against UC is based on its inhibition of pro-inflammatory cytokine overproduction,inhibition of DSS-induced ROS production,and enhanced expression of antioxidant enzymes and TJs in the colonic mucosal barrier.Jian WANG Liqian SU Lun ZHANG Jiali ZENG Qingru CHEN Rui DENG Ziyan WANG Weidong KUANG Xiaobao JIN Shuiqing GUI Yinghua XU Xuemei LU 2022Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2022,23,6:3
8Terahertz synthetic aperture in-line holography with intensity correction and sparsity autofocusing reconstruction显示文摘We demonstrate high-resolution and high-quality terahertz(THz)in-line digital holography based on the synthetic aperture method.The setup is built on a self-developed THz quantum cascade laser,and a lateral resolution better than 70μm(~λ)is achieved at 4.3 THz.To correct intensity differences between sub-holograms before aperture stitching,a practical algorithm with global optimization is proposed.To address the twin-image problem for in-line holography,a sparsity-based phase retrieval algorithm is applied to perform the high-quality reconstruction.Furthermore,a new autofocusing criterion termed'reconstruction objective function'is introduced to obtain the best in-focus reconstruction distance,so the autofocusing procedure and the reconstruction are unified within the same framework.Both simulation and experiment prove its accuracy and robustness.Note that all the methods proposed here can be applied to other wavebands as well.We demonstrate the success of this THz synthetic aperture in-line holography on biological and semiconductor samples,showing its potential applications in bioimaging and materials analysis.ZEYU LI RUIJIAO ZOU WEIPENG KONG XUEMIN WANG QINGHUA DENG QIANG YAN YU QIN WEIDONG WU XUN ZHOU 2019Photonics Research2019,7,12:3
9Molecular cloning and characterization of the endothelin 3 gene in black bone sheep显示文摘Background: Black bone sheep was first discovered in Yunnan province of China in 1970, with unique black pigmentation on the body and internal organs. Endothelin 3(EDN3) has been known as a key gene causing hyperpigmentation in black bone chicken, the Silky fowl.Methods: In this study, EDN3 was employed as a candidate gene for regulating black color pigmentation. First,EDN3 was cloned from sheep to obtain the full-length cDNA by using the rapid amplification of cDNA ends(RACE).Genomic EDN3 was screened and a total of thirty predicted single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) were genotyped for allele and genotype frequency analysis in a case-control study involving two black bone sheep populations. Genomic copy number analysis of EDN3 in sheep was conducted to measure the variation in copy number. EDN3 expression levels were observed among the groups in adult liver, lymph node, and kidney tissues, as well as embryo kidney samples. Also, among the tissues of black bone and non-black bone sheep.Results: The size of the full-length cDNA was 1,578 bp, which included 426 bp of 5′-untranslated region(5′-UTR),an open reading frame(ORF) of 639 bp encoding a protein of 212 amino acids, and a 3′-UTR of 513 bp. Genotype and allele frequencies of all the discovered SNPs were found insignificantly different in black bone and non-black bone sheep(P > 0.05). Genomic copy number analysis of EDN3 in sheep revealed no significant difference between the two sheep groups. No significant variations were found in the adult liver and kidney embryo samples. However,the expression in lymph node and kidney tissue was significantly higher in black bone sheep than that in non-black bone sheep(P < 0.05). 10Robust neural output-feedback stabilization for stochastic nonlinear process with time-varying delay and unknown dead zone显示文摘This article investigates the output-feedback control of a class of stochastic nonlinear system with time-varying delay and unknown dead zone. A robust neural stabilizing algorithm is proposed by using the circle criterion, the NNs approximation and the MLP(minimum learning parameter) technique. In the scheme, the nonlinear observer is first designed to estimate the unmeasurable states and the assumption 'linear growth' of the nonlinear function is released. Furthermore, the uncertainty of the whole system(including the perturbation of time-varying delay) is lumped and compensated by employing one RBF NNs(radial basis function neural networks). Though, only two weight-norm related parameters are required to be updated online for the merit of the MLP technique. And the gain-inversion related adaptive law is targetly designed to mitigate the adverse effect of unknown dead zone. Comparing with the previous work, the proposed algorithm obtains the advantage:a concise form and easy to implementation due to its less computational burden. 11Geochemistry and genesis of the Nadun Nb-enriched arc basalt in the Duolong mineral district,western Tibet:Indication of ridge subduction显示文摘The Duolong mineral district in western Tibet is one of the largest porphyry Cu–Au deposit fields with significant metallogenic potential in China.Its tectonic environment relevant to Early Cretaceous Cu–Au mineralization remains controversial.Here we report new whole-rock major and trace element,and Sr-Nd-Hf-Pb isotopic data for the newly discovered basalt in the Nadun area,Duolong mineral district,to decipher their genesis and further constrain the tectonic environment.A contemporaneous rhyolite sample interbedded with the basalt in the lower part of the volcanic section in the Nadun area yields an LA-ICP-MS zircon U–Pb age of 122.5±1.2 Ma.The basalt samples exhibit high-K calc-alkaline/shoshonite properties and are enriched in high field strength elements,e.g.,high Ti O_(2)(1.43–1.79 wt.%)and Nb(14.6–19.5 ppm)contents,with high Nb/La ratios(0.4–0.6),which are compositionally comparable to those of Nb-enriched arc basalts(NEABs).The(^(87) Sr/^(86) Sr)iratios of 0.7052 to 0.7056,negative eNd(t)(-0.7 to-0.2)and eHf(t)values(+6.0 to+6.5),and high(^(206) Pb/^(204)Pb)i,(^(207) Pb/^(204)Pb)i,(^(208) Pb/^(204)Pb)iand ratios(18.522 to 18.561,15.641 to 15.645 and 38.679 to 38.730,respectively)suggest that the Nadun NEABs are more enriched than those of the island arc basalts(IABs)in the area.The slightly enriched radiogenic isotopes for the Nadun NEABs indicate that the subducting sediments play an important role in the source.Furthermore,their high Nb,Ti,and Cu contents indicate that the source mantle wedge was metasomatized by slab melts.The Nadun NEAB and other coeval magmatic rocks in the Duolong mineral district,including adakite,OIB-like basalt,MORB-type basalt,A-type rhyolite,and common IAB,are typical rock assemblages of ridge subduction.We infer that the Duolong mineral district were formed by ridge subduction in the Early Cretaceous.Tian-Yu Zhang Jianghong Deng Ming Wang Cai Li Lipeng Zhang Weidong Sun 2022Geoscience Frontiers2022,13,1:1

16Trajectory Optimization and Power Allocation Scheme Based on DRL in Energy Efficient UAV-Aided Communication Networks显示文摘With flexibility, convenience and mobility, unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVS) can provide wireless communication networks with lower costs, easier deployment, higher network scalability and larger coverage.This paper proposes the deep deterministic policy gradient algorithm to jointly optimize the power allocation and flight trajectory of UAV with constrained effective energy to maximize the downlink throughput to ground users. To validate the proposed algorithm, we compare with the random algorithm, Q-learning algorithm and deep Q network algorithm. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the communication quality and significantly extend the service time of UAV. 18A Hu sheep genome with the first ovine Y chromosome reveal introgression history after sheep domestication显示文摘The Y chromosome plays key roles in male fertility and reflects the evolutionary history of paternal lineages.Here,we present a de novo genome assembly of the Hu sheep with the first draft assembly of ovine Y chromosome(o MSY),using nanopore sequencing and Hi-C technologies.The o MSY that we generated spans 10.6 Mb from which 775 Y-SNPs were identified by applying a large panel of whole genome sequences from worldwide sheep and wild Iranian mouflons.Three major paternal lineages(HY1a,HY1b and HY2)were defined across domestic sheep,of which HY2 was newly detected.Surprisingly,HY2 forms a monophyletic clade with the Iranian mouflons and is highly divergent from both HY1a and HY1b.Demographic analysis of Y chromosomes,mitochondrial and nuclear genomes confirmed that HY2 and the maternal counterpart of lineage C represented a distinct wild mouflon population in Iran that diverge from the direct ancestor of domestic sheep,the wild mouflons in Southeastern Anatolia.Our results suggest that wild Iranian mouflons had introgressed into domestic sheep and thereby introduced this Iranian mouflon specific lineage carrying HY2 to both East Asian and Africa sheep populations.Ran Li Peng Yang Ming Li Wenwen Fang Xiangpeng Yue Hojjat Asadollahpour Nanaei Shangquan Gan Duo Du Yudong Cai Xuelei Dai Qimeng Yang Chunna Cao Weidong Deng Sangang He Wenrong Li Runlin Ma Mingjun Liu Yu Jiang 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,7:1
