| 4 | Qiguiyishen decoction reduced the accumulation of extracellular matrix in the kidneys of rats with adriamycin-induced nephropathy显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of Qiguiyishen decoction(QGYS) on the severity of nephropathy.METHODS: Twenty-four rats were randomly divided into four groups(Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ) according to the random number table. Group Ⅰ as control group did not establish nephropathy model. Groups Ⅱ,Ⅲ, and Ⅳ were intravenously administered Adriamycin(7.5 mg/kg) through the tail vein to establish nephropathy model. QGYS was prepared with the extracts of Huangqi(Radix Astragali Mongolici),Danggui(Radix Angelicae Sinensis),Niuxi(RadixAchyran-this Bidentatae), and Chuanxiong(Rhizoma Chuanxiong).Group Ⅳ was administered QGYS (2mL·kg-1·d-1), group Ⅲ was administered benazepril(10 mL·kg-1·d-1), and group Ⅰ, Ⅱ was administered water(2mL·kg-1·d-1)once daily for eight weeks.RESULTS: QGYS reduced the excretion of urinary protein and N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase and alleviated the accumulation of extracellular matrix(ECM) in renal tissue. | 5 | Enabling highly efficient and broadband electromagnetic wave absorption by tuning impedance match in high-entropy transition metal diborides (HETMB_(2))显示文摘The advance in communication technology has triggered worldwide concern on electromagnetic wave pollution.To cope with this challenge,exploring high-performance electromagnetic(EM)wave absorbing materials with dielectric and magnetic losses coupling is urgently required.Of the EM wave absorbers,transition metal diborides(TMB2)possess excellent dielectric loss capability.However,akin to other single dielectric materials,poor impedance match leads to inferior performance.High-entropy engineering is expected to be effective in tailoring the balance between dielectric and magnetic losses through compositional design.Herein,three HE TMB2 powders with nominal equimolar TM including HE TMB2-I(TM=Zr,Hf,Nb,Ta),HE TMB2-2(TM=Ti,Zr,Hf,Nb,Ta),and HE TMB2-3(TM=Cr,Zr,Hf,Nb,Ta)have been designed and prepared by one-step boro/carbothermal reduction.As a result of synergistic effects of strong attenuation capability and impedance match,HE TMB2-1 shows much improved performance with the optimal minimum reflection loss(RL_(min))of-59.6 dB(8.48 GHz,2.68 mm)and effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)of 7.6 GHz(2.3 mm).Most impressively,incorporating Cr in HE TMB2-3 greatly improves the impedance match over 1-18 GHz,thus achieving the RLmin of-56.2 dB(8.48 GHz,2.63 mm)and the EAB of 11.0 GHz(2.2 mm),which is superior to most other EM wave absorbing materials.This work reveals that constructing high-entropy compounds,especially by incorporating magnetic elements,is effectual in tailoring the impedance match for highly conductive compounds,i.e.,tuning electrical conductivity and boosting magnetic loss to realize highly efficient and broadband EM wave absorption with dielectric and magnetic coupling in single-phase materials. | Weiming ZHANG Fu-Zhi DAI Huimin XIANG Biao ZHAO Xiaohui WANG Na NI Rajamallu KARRE Shijiang WU Yanchun ZHOU | 2021 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,6: | 4 |
| 6 | White blood cell count and the incidence of hyperuricemia:insights from a community-based study显示文摘Hyperuricemia(HUA)is a risk factor for chronic kidney disease(CKD).The relationship between HUA and white blood cell(WBC)count remains unknown.A sampling survey for CKD was conducted in Sanlin community in 2012 and 2014.CKD was defined as proteinuria in at least the microalbuminuric stage or an estimated GFR of 60 mL/(min·1.73 m2).HUA was defined as serum uric acid>420µmol/L in men and>360µmol/L in women.This study included 1024 participants.The prevalence of HUA was 17.77%.Patients with HUA were more likely to have higher levels of WBC count,which was positively associated with HUA prevalence.This association was also observed in participants without CKD,diabetes mellitus,hyperlipidemia,or obesity.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that WBC count was independently associated with the risk for HUA in male and female participants.Compared with participants without HUA,inflammatory factors such as high-sensitivity C-reactive protein,tumor necrosis factor-α,and interleukin 6 increased in participants with HUA.Hence,WBC count is positively associated with HUA,and this association is independent of conventional risk factors for CKD. | Jian Liu Pingyan Shen Xiaobo Ma Xialian Yu Liyan Ni Xu Hao Weiming Wang Nan Chen | 2019 | Frontiers of Medicine2019,13,6: | 3 |
| 7 | HPLC and GC methods development for the analysis of key intermediate for synthesis of dicamba显示文摘The microreactor based hydroxylation process of 1,2,4-trichlorobezene for producing 2,5-dichlorphenol,the key intermediate of dicamba,is energy efficient and cost effective.But the 2,5-dicholorphneol is present in a mixed state after production.The reaction mixture contained the main by-product 2,4-dichlorophneol,low-content by-product 3,4-dichlorophneol,and other impurities.The difficulty in separation and analysis limits the application of this process widely.The current work aimed at establishing effective analysis methods by gas chromatography(GC)and high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).The GC method was not able to separate 2,5-dichlorophenol and 2,4-dichlorophenol completely,but the developed HPLC method worked efficiently.The linear correlation coefficients of 2,5-dichlorophenol and 2,4-dichlorophenol were both higher than 0.999,and the average recovery was 100.33% for 2,5-dichlorophenol and 100.13% for 2,4-dichlorophenol,respectively.The relative standard deviations from precision tests were both less than 1%.The contents of 2,5-dichlorophenol and 2,4-dichlorophenol were determined with external standard method.The HPLC method has the advantages of simple operation,good separation efficiency,high accuracy and precision,and was successfully applied for both qualitative and quantitative analysis of 2,5-dichlorophenol and 2,4-dichlorophenol of the sample solution. | Zhenming Zhang He Zhao Xiaohui Wang Weiming Ni Fengsheng Gao Jianrong Wang Minjin Liu Yongli Li | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,5: | 2 |
