5An efficient resin for solid-phase extraction and determination by UPLCMS/MS of 44 pharmaceutical personal care products in environmental waters显示文摘In this study,a hydrophilic resin named GCHM was fabricated based on poly(N-vinyl pyrrolidone-codivinylbenzene),characterized,and applied as a solid-phase extraction(SPE)material.Up to 44 pharmaceuticals and personal care products(PPCPs)belonging to 10 classes were recovered in environmental water samples.Different variables affecting extraction,such as adsorbent amount,sample pH,and loading speed,were optimized.Under optimal conditions,the average absolute recovgy of 44 PPCPs was 75.6%using GCHM,indicating a better performance than the commercial Oasis^HLB.SPE with home-made hydrophilic polymeric sorbent followed by ultra-performance liquid chromatography and tandem mass spectrometry was validated,and the method achieved good linearity(r2>0.991,for all analytes).In addition,the method detection limits of target compounds ranged from 0.03 to 0.6 ng/L.The developed method was applied to determine PPCPs in 10 environmental water samples taken from the Yangtze River,Huaihe River,and Taihu Lake,1 groundwater sample from Changzhou in Jiangsu Province,1 wastewater sample from Xiamen and 2 seawater samples from the Jiulong River in Fujian Province,China.In these samples,22 compounds were determined at levels ranging from 0.5 to 1590 ng/L.Feng Zhu Zhijian Yao Wenliang Ji Deye Liu Hao Zhang Aimin Li Zongli Huo Qing Zhou 2020Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2020,14,3:1
6Detrital Zircon U-Pb Geochronology of the Xilin Group: Constraints for the Early Paleozoic Tectonic Evolution of the Songliao Massif显示文摘The Xilin Group, composed of the Chenming, Laodaomiaogou, Qianshan and Wuxingzhen formations, is one of the Early Paleozoic terranes in the eastern Songliao Massif, mainly consisting of thick layers of fine clastic and carbonate rocks. This study presents LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb geochronological data for the Laodaomiaogou and Qianshan formations, further constraining their provenance and the Early Paleozoic tectonic evolution of the Songliao Massif on the eastern Central Asian Orogenic Belt. Most zircons from the Laodaomiaogou and Qianshan formations show magmatic oscillatory zoning and high Th/U ratios(0.26–2.41). Zircon U-Pb dating results indicate that the detrital zircons from the silty mudstone of the Laodaomiaogou Formation yield peak ages of 634 Ma, 775 Ma, 820 Ma, 880 Ma and 927 Ma, as well as multi-episodic Archean to Paleoproterozoic and Mesoproterozoic ages(1405–643 Ma), implying its deposition time is younger than ~634 Ma. Furthermore, the occurrence of Early Cambrian fossils indicates that the Laodaomiaogou Formation was deposited during the late stage of the Early Cambrian(~514 Ma). The zircons from the K-bentonite of the Qianshan Formation show four peak ages of 444 Ma, 471 Ma, 489 Ma and 518 Ma and the youngest age peak of 444 ± 4 Ma(n = 6) indicates that the Qianshan Formation was deposited during the Late Ordovician. In addition, the peak ages of the detrital zircons in the silty mudstone of the Qianshan Formation are 472 Ma and 498 Ma, as well as two other concordant points with;Pb/;Pb apparent ages of 1824 Ma and 1985 Ma. The dating results in this study, together with published data, indicate the absence of Pan-African magmatic events in the Songliao Massif prior to the initial deposition of the Xilin Group, in contrast to those distributed widely in the Jiamusi Massif. Taken together, we conclude that the depositional provenance of the Laodaomiaogou and Qianshan formations was derived from the Songliao Massif. Furthermore, the characteristics of the detrital zircon age composition and rock associations indicate that the Laodaomiaogou Formation formed in a passive continental margin environment, in contrast to the Qianshan Formation, which formed in an active continental margin environment. 7Exposure to Acrylamide in the Sixth Total Diet Study-China,2016-2019显示文摘Summary What is already known about this topic?Acrylamide(AA)is toxic and potentially carcinogenic and could be formed during the cooking process.It is understood that almost all foods cooked at high temperature contain AA,especially fried foods.The exposure of AA in food threatens human health.What is added by this report?In the Sixth China Total Diet Study(TDS),AA was detected in 73.3%samples of the 12 food categories with the concentrations ranging from undetected to 176.90μg/kg.The average dietary intake of AA was 0.175μg/kg body weight per day and a significant decrease(45.1%)was observed compared with the Fifth China TDS.Among the 12 food categories,vegetables(59.0%),cereals(18.9%),and potatoes(10.1%)were the main contributors to AA exposure at 88.0%.What are the implications for public health practice?This study highlighted the need to continuously monitor dietary acrylamide exposure in China,including changing food processing methods and making reasonable selection of foodstuffs in the daily diet.Feng Zhu Yuxin Wang Hualiang Liu Bing Lyu Dawei Chen Jingguang Li Wenliang Ji Yunfeng Zhao Yongning Wu 2022China CDC weekly2022,4,9:1
8Engineering of hollow polymeric nanosphere-supported imidazolium-based ionic liquids with enhanced antimicrobial activities显示文摘The design of stable,efficient and processable bactericidal materials represents a significant challenge for combating multidrugresistant bacteria in a variety of engineering fields.Herein,we report a facile strategy for the preparation of hollow polymeric nanosphere(HPN)-supported imidazolium-based ionic liquids(denoted as HPN-ILs)with superior antimicrobial activities.HPNILs were tailored by moderate Friedel−Crafts polymerization followed by the sequential covalent bonding of imidazole and bromoalkene.The resultant HPN-ILs have uniform hollow spherical morphology,an adequate surface area,and excellent physicochemical stability.Furthermore,they are highly active against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and exhibit typical time/dosage-dependent antibacterial activities.The rational combination of porous HPNs and antibacterial ILs to generate an all-in-one entity may open new avenues for the design and fabrication of efficient bacteriostatic agents.Moreover,HPN-ILs have good biocompatibility and can also be loaded onto diverse matrices,and thus could extend their practical bactericidal application in the potential biomedical-active field.Yu Zhang Shuwei Li Yixin Xu Xinyun Shi Mingxin Zhang Yingning Huang Ying Liang Yaqiong Chen Wanli Ji Jung Rae Kim Wenliang Song Deng-Guang Yu Il Kim 2022Nano Research2022,15,6:1
9In-situ photoisomerization of azobenzene to inhibit ion-migration for stable high-efficiency perovskite solar cells显示文摘Ion migration is a notorious problem in perovskite solar cells(PSCs)that severely mutilates device performance.Herein,a strategy to inhibit ion migration in situ is developed by using photoisomerization of azobenzene(AZO)to immobilize cations in the lattice.During the nucleation process,the photoisomerized cis-AZO reacts with FA^(+),MA^(+)and Pb2+cations in the perovskite precursor by synergistic cation-πinteraction and Lewis base coordination,leading to heterogeneous nucleation to produce uniform perovskite film.Meanwhile,it accelerates conversion of intermediate yellowδ-phase to desired black aphase of FAPb I3for improved crystallinity with well-passivated grain surface.Consequently,defect density is effectively reduced for the perovskite film to demonstrate suppressed carrier recombination and enhanced carrier extraction.Subsequently,the solar cell efficiency is elevated from 21.29%to 23.58%with negligible J-V hysteresis.Long-term stability is also improved,with the bare device without any encapsulation retaining 84%of its initial efficiency after aging 744 hours in ambient.Xuejiao Zuo Yiyang He Hongyu Ji Yong Li Xiuying Yang Binxun Yu Tao Wang Zhike Liu Wenliang Huang Jing Gou Ningyi Yuan Jianning Ding Shengzhong Frank Liu 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,10:1

12TNFα inhibitor C87 sensitizes EGFRvⅢ transfected glioblastoma cells to gefitinib by a concurrent blockade of TNFα signaling显示文摘Objective: More than half of human glioblastomas show EGFR gene amplification and mutation, but EGFR inhibitors have not been effective in treating EGFR-positive glioblastoma patients.The mechanism behind this type of primary resistance is not well understood.The aim of this study was to investigate gefitinib resistance in glioblastoma, and explore ways to circumvent this significant clinical problem.Methods: MTT method was used to test the cell viability after EGFR-positive glioblastoma cells were treated with indicated drugs;real-time quantitative PCR method was included to detect the TNFα mRNA levels in glioma tissues and cell lines.ELISA was introduced to measure the TNFα protein levels in cell culture supernatant of glioblastoma cells treated with gefitinib.Western blot was used to detect the activity change of intracellular kinases in drug-treated glioblastoma cells.Two mouse xenograft tumor models were carried out to evaluate the in vivo effects of a combination of EGFR and TNFα inhibitors.Results: We found that glioblastoma resistance to gefitinib may be mediated by an adaptive pro-survival TNFα-JNK-Axl signaling axis, and that high TNFα levels in the glioblastoma microenvironment may further intensify primary resistance.A combination of the TNFα-specific small-molecule inhibitor C87 and gefitinib significantly enhanced the sensitivity of glioblastoma cells to gefitinib in vitro and in vivo.Conclusions: Our findings provide a possible explanation for the primary resistance of glioblastoma to EGFR inhibitors and suggest that dual blockade of TNFα and EGFR may be a viable therapeutic strategy for the treatment of patients with chemotherapy-refractory advanced glioblastoma.Li Ma Chunhua She Qian Shi Qiang Yin Xinxin Ji Yongrong Wang Yulong Fan Xinyao Kong Peng Li Zengfeng Sun Xiaohui Zhang Zhen Zhang Jian Wang Tong Wang Yuanfu Xu Wenliang Li 2019Cancer Biology & Medicine2019,16,3:1

14Geochronology,geochemistry and geodynamics implications of Middle Triassic garnet-bearing muscovite monzogranite in central Jilin Province显示文摘Zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb geochronology and geochemical analyses are undertaken for the garnet-bearing muscovite monzogranite in Yitong area,central Jilin Province. The formation age and petrogenesis of the granite are determined,and the regional tectonic background is discussed. Zircons from the granite are euhedral-subhedral in shape,and display fine-scale oscillatory growth zoning,indicating a magmatic origin. LAICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating result indicates that the garnet-bearing muscovite monzogranites formed in the middle Triassic( 243 Ma). The garnet-bearing muscovite monzogranites have high SiO_2( Si O2= 74. 1%--76. 49%),rich aluminum( Al_2O_3= 14. 47%--14. 68%) and alkali( Na_2O + K_2O = 4. 31%--7. 9%),low Fe_2O_3 T and MgO( MgO = 0. 1%--0. 13%,Fe_2O_3 T = 0. 46%--1. 02%). The ratio of CaO/Na_2O is between 0. 17--0. 21. The garnet-bearing muscovite monzogranites in Yitong region are relatively enriched in light rare earth elements( LREEs) and large ion lithophile elements( LILEs),and depleted of heavy rare earth elements( HREEs) and high field strength elements( HFSEs). They are characterized by high Sr and Ba,poor Rb and Y,and negative Eu abnormally( δEu = 0. 48--0. 62),with Rb/Sr < 1. The ε_(Hf)( t) values and T_(DM2) of zircons range from + 6. 10 to + 8. 00 and from 725 Ma to 814 Ma,respectively. The above features indicate that garnet-bearing muscovite monzogranites in Yitong area were derived from partial melting of metasedimentary rock.These granites have high Sr/Y ratios,which suggest they formed in a thickened continental crust. 15Real-time and in-situ intracellular ATP assay with polyimidazolium brush-modified nanopipette显示文摘The level and dynamics of adenosine 5’-triphosphate(ATP) in single living cells are closely related to many kinds of important physiological and pathological processes. Herein, we report a nanosensor based on polyimidazolium brush(PimB)-modified nanopipette for intracellular ATP assay, which shows good selectivity, high spatiotemporal resolution and excellent stability.Both the specific supramolecular interaction between polyimidazolium and ATP, and the rationally tunable property of the ion transport at a confined nanopipette enable the selective assay of ATP even in complex intracellular environment. Moreover, the tiny tip(ca.300 nm) and the low polarized current(e.g., 1 nA) essentially make the as-prepared nanosensor safe to the living cells.
