| 1 | Impact of agricultural residual plastic film on the growth and yield of drip-irrigated cotton in arid region of Xinjiang, China显示文摘Long-term and widespread use of plastic mulching has led to the accumulation of residual plastic film(RPF)in farmland soils of Xinjiang,China.However,there is no specific quantitative basis for RPF pollution or a clear understanding of the influence of residual film on crop growth.The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of RPF on the growth of cotton,an important cash crop of Xinjiang.Based on the field conditions and previous reports,various amount of residual film was applied in 0-30 cm soil layer.The growth index including emergence rate,dry matter,and yield of cotton was examined at different growth stages under different soil residual film levels.Results demonstrated a significant effect of RPF on soil moisture distribution and movement.Plastic residues had a significant effect on cotton growth at levels above 200 kg/hm2,and the yield decreased as the RPF amount increased.Based on these findings,200 kg/hm2 was suggested as a threshold level to determine the effects of RPF on cotton.This study provided a basis to rate RPF pollution in farmland soils and help understand the impact of pollution on crop productivity. | Can Hu Xufeng Wang Shiguo Wang Bing Lu Wensong Guo Chaoji Liu Xiuying Tang | 2020 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2020,13,1: | 5 |
| 2 | Sea ice thickness estimation in the Bohai Sea using geostationary ocean color imager data显示文摘A method to estimate the thickness of the sea ice of the Bohai Sea is proposed using geostationary ocean color imager(GOCI) data and then applied to the dynamic monitoring of the sea ice thickness in the Bohai Sea during the winter of 2014 to 2015.First of all,a model is given between the GOCI shortwave broadband albedo and the reflectance of each band with high temporal resolution GOCI data.Then,the relationship model between the sea ice thickness and the GOCI shortwave broadband albedo is established and applied to the thickness extraction of the sea ice in the Bohai Sea.Finally,the sea ice thickness extraction method is tested by the results based on the MODIS data,thermodynamic empirical models(Lebedev and Zubov),and the in situ ice thickness data.The test results not only indicated that the sea ice thickness retrieval method based on the GOCI data was a good correlation(r^2>0.86) with the sea ice thickness retrieved by the MODIS and thermodynamic empirical models,but also that the RMS is only 6.82 cm different from the thickness of the sea ice based on the GOCI and in situ data. | LIU Wensong SHENG Hui ZHANG Xi | 2016 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2016,35,7: | 5 |
| 3 | Diode-pumped wavelength-switchable visible Pr^(3+):YLF laser and vortex laser around 670 nm显示文摘Here we developed a novel wavelength-switchable visible continuous-wave(CW)Pr^(3+):YLF laser around 670 nm.In single-wavelength laser operations,the maximum output powers of 2.60 W,1.26 W,and 0.21 W,the maximum slope efficiencies of 34.7%,27.3%,and 12.3%were achieved with good beam qualities(M^(2)<1.6)at 670.4 nm,674.2 nm,and 678.9 nm,respectively.Record-high output power(2.6 W)and record-high slope efficiency(34.7%)were achieved for the Pr^(3+):YLF laser operation at 670.4 nm.This is also the first demonstration of longer-wavelength peaks beyond 670 nm in the^(3)P_(1)→^(3)F_(3)transition of Pr^(3+):YLF.In multi-wavelength laser operations,the dual-wavelength lasings,including 670.1/674.8 nm,670.1/679.1 nm,and 675.0/679.4 nm,were obtained by fine adjustment of one/two etalons within the cavity.Furthermore,the triple-wavelength lasings,e.g.672.2/674.2/678.6 nm and 670.4/674.8/679.4 nm,were successfully demonstrated.Moreover,both the first-order vortex lasers(LG_(0)^(+1)and LG_(0)^(-1)modes)at 670.4 nm were obtained by off-axis pumping. | Xiuji Lin Qichen Feng Yao Zhu Shuaihao Ji Bo Xiao Huiying Xu Wensong Li Zhiping Cai | 2021 | Opto-Electronic Advances2021,4,4: | 4 |
| 4 | Wind turbine blade health monitoring with piezoceramic-based wireless sensor network显示文摘In this paper,a piezoceramic-based wireless sensor network(WSN)was developed for health monitoring of wind turbine blades with active sensing approach.The WSN system has an access point that coordinates the network and connects to a PC to control the wireless nodes.One wireless node functions as an actuator to excite an embedded piezoceramic patch with desired guided waves.The remaining wireless nodes function as sensors to detect and transmit the wave responses at distributed locations.The damage status inside the blade was evaluated through the analysis of the sensor signals.Based on wavelet packet analysis results,a damage index and a damage matrix were developed to evaluate the damage status at different locations.To verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach,a static loading test and a wind tunnel test were performed in the Laboratory of Joint Wind Tunnel and Wave Flume at Harbin Institute of Technology(HIT),China.Experimental results show that damage in wind turbine blades can be detected and evaluated by the proposed approach. | Gangbing Song Hui Li Bosko Gajic Wensong Zhou Peng Chen Haichang Gu | 2013 | International Journal of Smart and Nano Materials2013,4,3: | 3 |

| 8 | A Novel Unsupervised Change Detection Method with Structure Consistency and GFLICM Based on UAV Images显示文摘With the rapid development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)technology,change detection methods based on UAV images have been extensively studied.However,the imaging of UAV sensors is susceptible to environmental interference,which leads to great differences of same object between UAV images.Overcoming the discrepancy difference between UAV images is crucial to improving the accuracy of change detection.To address this issue,a novel unsupervised change detection method based on structural consistency and the Generalized Fuzzy Local Information C-means Clustering Model(GFLICM)was proposed in this study.Within this method,the establishment of a graph-based structural consistency measure allowed for the detection of change information by comparing structure similarity between UAV images.The local variation coefficient was introduced and a new fuzzy factor was reconstructed,after which the GFLICM algorithm was used to analyze difference images.Finally,change detection results were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively.To measure the feasibility and robustness of the proposed method,experiments were conducted using two data sets from the cities of Yangzhou and Nanjing.The experimental results show that the proposed method can improve the overall accuracy of change detection and reduce the false alarm rate when compared with other state-of-the-art change detection methods. | Wensong LIU Xinyuan JI Jie LIU Fengcheng GUO Zongqiao YU | 2022 | Journal of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science2022,5,1: | 2 |
| 9 | Estimation of leaf area index from high resolution ZY-3 satellite imagery in a catchment dominated by Larix principis-rupprechtii,northern China显示文摘Leaf area index(LAI) is a key factor that determines a forest ecosystem's net primary production and energy exchange between the atmosphere and land surfaces.LAI can be measured in many ways, but there has been little research to compare LAI estimated by different methods. In this study, we compared the LAI results from two different approaches, i.e., the dimidiate pixel model(DPM) and an empirical statistic model(ESM) using ZY-3 high-accuracy satellite images validated by field data. We explored the relationship of LAI of Larix principis-rupprechtii Mayr plantations with topographic conditions. The results show that DPM improves the simulation of LAI(r = 0.86,RMSE = 0.57) compared with ESM(r = 0.62, RMSE =0.79). We further concluded that elevation and slope significantly affect the distribution of LAI. The maximum peak of LAI appeared at an aspect of east and southeast at an elevation of 1700–2000 m. Our results suggest that ZY-3 can satisfy the needs of quantitative monitoring of leaf area indices in small-scale catchment areas. | 16 | Gradual Evolution from Fluvial Dominated to Tide Dominated Deltas and Channel Type Transformation: A Case Study of MPE3 Block in the Orinoco Heavy Oil Belt of the Eastern Venezuelan Basin显示文摘Based on the data of core description and sporopollen analysis,the gradual evolution of deltas in vertical direction and transition of channel types in the MPE3 block of the eastern Venezuela Basin have been surveyed by seismic phase and well logging facies interpretation.The results show that due to the great sea level rise,the sedimentary system of the Miocene Oficina Formation in the MPE3 block shifted from the distal-source sandy braided river delta to tide-affected delta,and eventually to tide-dominated delta.Vertically,during the early stage of sedimentation of Oficina Formation,the distributary channels of the delta were dominated by braided river channels.While in the later stage,as the tidal effect was gradually intensified,the channel changed from braided channel to meandering channel.On plane,as a result of differential transgression,sedimentary framework and distribution of sand bodies vary across the study area.Compared with the eastern part,the western part has more braided channels,larger channel bars,less developments of distributary bay and higher ratio of sand to mud.Whereas the braided channels in the south are larger than those in the north.It is the first time we pointed out the impact of marine transgression differences on the sedimentary facies distribution and river type transition in the study area.Factors like the structural and paleogeomorphological change,sea level variation,supply of sediments have strong influence on the evolution of sedimentary system and distribution of sandbodies.It is predicted that the major sandbody is more developed in the central south,which can guide the subsequent horizontal well development. | HUANG Wensong CHEN Heping XU Fang MENG Zheng ZHANG Fanqin WU Suwei | 2019 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2019,93,6: | 1 |
