| 1 | Occurrence, sources and fate of pharmaceuticals and personal care products in the groundwater: A review显示文摘The presence of pharmaceuticals and personal care products(PPCPs)in the aquatic environment may pose potential threat to the ecosystem and human health,hence PPCPs have aroused much concern over the world.The contamination of PPCPs in the groundwater,the main source of drinking water supply in many countries and regions,has been extensively studied in the last decade.This paper reviews the occurrence of frequently detected PPCPs,including antibiotics,anti-inflammatories,lipid-regulators,carbamazepine,caffeine,and N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide in groundwater,with special concern to the progress made over the past three years.Possible emission sources for PPCPs in groundwater,such as wastewater and contaminated surface water,landfills,septic systems,livestock breeding and sewer leakage,are summarized.Besides,adsorption,migration and degradation,the dominant mechanisms in the subsurface transport and fate of PPCPs,are discussed,and the insights into the future study of PPCPs in the groundwater are provided. | Qian Sui Xuqi Cao Shuguang Lu Wentao Zhao Zhaofu Qiu Gang Yu | 2015 | Emerging Contaminants2015,1,1: | 20 |

| 5 | Bioinspired MXene-Based User-Interactive Electronic Skin for Digital and Visual Dual-Channel Sensing显示文摘User-interactive electronic skin(e-skin) that could convert mechanical stimuli into distinguishable outputs displays tremendous potential for wearable devices and health care applications. However, the existing devices have the disadvantages such as complex integration procedure and lack of the intuitive signal display function. Here, we present a bioinspired user-interactive e-skin, which is simple in structure and can synchronously achieve digital electrical response and optical visualization upon external mechanical stimulus. The e-skin comprises a conductive layer with a carbon nanotubes/cellulose nanofibers/MXene nanohybrid network featuring remarkable electromechanical behaviors, and a stretchable elastomer layer, which is composed of silicone rubber and thermochromic pigments. Furthermore, the conductive nanohybrid network with outstanding Joule heating performance can generate controllable thermal energy under voltage input and then achieve the dynamic coloration of silicone-based elastomer. Especially, such an innovative fusion strategy of digital data and visual images enables the e-skin to monitor human activities with evermore intuition and accuracy. | 7 | CO_(2) mineralization of carbide slag for the production of light calcium carbonates显示文摘The production of polyvinyl chloride by calcium carbide method is a typical chemical process with high coal consumption,leading to massive flue gas and carbide slag emissions.Currently,the carbide slag with high CaO content is usually stacked in residue field,easily draining away with the rain and corroding the soil.In this work,we coupled the treatment of flue gas and carbide slag to propose a facile CO_(2)mineralization route to prepare light calcium carbonate.And the route feasibility was comprehensively evaluated via experiments and simulation.Through experimental investigation,the Ca^(2+) leaching and mineralization reaction parameters were determined.Based on the experiment,a process was built and optimized through Aspen Plus,and the energy was integrated to obtain the overall process energy and material consumption.Finally,the net CO_(2)emission reduction rate of the entire process through the life-cycle assessment method was analyzed.Moreover,the relationship between the parameters and the CO_(2)emission life-cycle assessment was established.The final optimization results showed that the mineralization process required 1154.69 kW·h·(t CO_(2))^(-1) of energy(including heat energy of 979.32 kW·h·(t CO_(2))^(-1) and electrical energy of 175.37 kW·h·(t CO_(2))^(-1)),and the net CO_(2)emission reduction rate was 35.8%.The light CaCO_(3)product can be sold as a high value-added product.According to preliminary economic analysis,the profit of mineralizing can reach more than 2,100 CNY·(t CO_(2))^(-1). | Tongyang Zhang Guanrun Chu Junlin Lyu Yongda Cao Wentao Xu Kui Ma Lei Song Hairong Yue Bin Liang | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,3: | 4 |

| 12 | Recombinant Lactobacillus plantarum NC8 strain expressing porcine rotavirus VP7 induces specific antibodies in BALB/c mice显示文摘The major etiologic agent that causes acute gastroenteritis worldwide in young animals and children is Group A rotavirus.Currently,commercially available vaccines do not often prevent porcine rotavirus(PRV)infection.In this study,we evaluated the efficacy of oral recombinant Lactobacillus vaccine against PRV in a mouse model.Lactobacillus plantarum NC8 was used as the host strain,and bacterial vectors were constructed,because the NC8 isolated has shown the capability to survive gastric transit and to colonize the intestinal tract of humans and other mammals.To explore the immunological mechanisms,lactic acid bacterial vectors were used to express VP7 antigen from PRV.We constructed an L.plantarum strain with surface-displayed VP7,named NC8-pSIP409-pgsA-VP7-DCpep.The expressed recombinant protein had a molecular weight of~37 kDa.The strain was used to immunize BALB/c mice to evaluate their immunomodulatory characteristics.Mice were orally immunized with recombinant L.plantarum NC8-pSIP409-pgsA-VP7-DCpep at a dose of 2×10^(9) colony forming units/200μl.The results showed that NC8-pSIP409-pgsA-VP7-DCpep significantly stimulated the differentiation of dendritic cells(DCs)in Peyer’s patches(PPs)and increased the serum levels of IL-4 and IFN-γ,as measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in mice treated with NC8-pSIP409-pgsA-VP7-DCpep.Compared to the empty vector group,NC8-pSIP409-pgsA-VP7-DCpep significantly increased the production of B220^(+) B cells in mesenteric lymph nodes(MLNs)and PPs and also increased the titer levels of the VP7-specific antibodies,including IgG and sIgA.The administration of NC8-pSIP409-pgsA-VP7-DCpep mediated relatively broad cellular responses.This study reveals that clear alternatives exist for PRV control strategies and provides information on PRV infection. | Seria Masole Shonyela Chunwei Shi Wentao Yang Xin Cao Guilian Yang Chunfeng Wang | 2021 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,6: | 2 |

| 14 | Achieving higher performances without an external curing agent in natural magnolol-based epoxy resin显示文摘Bio-based epoxy thermoset prepared from renewable biomass raw materials can alleviate fossil energy crisis and reduce environmental pollution,which satisfies the needs of sustainable social development.In this study,a bio-based epoxy thermoset precursor(MGOL-EP) was synthesized from a naturally occurring magnolol through a facile and efficient one-step process.And the fully bio-based epoxy thermoset(MGOL-EP-SC) was obtained by self-curing without adding any other hardener.MGOL-EP-SC revealed an extremely high glass-transition temperature(T_(g)) of 265℃ and char yield of 53.2%(in N;),which were at the highest level among the fully bio-based epoxy thermosets reported so far.In addition,when the MGOL-EP was cured with 4,4’-methylenedianiline(DDM),T_(g)of the MGOL-EP/DDM was decreased by 61℃ and the other comprehensive performance had also been decreased,which was due to a reduction in biphenyl structure content and cross-linking density by adding the external curing agents.Moreover,the MGOL-EP-SC presented certain killing rate(48.4%) to Staphylococcus aureus.These findings provide a new design strategy for engineering high-performance and functional epoxy thermoset with high biomass content. | Qi Cao Zhihuan Weng Yu Qi Jiahui Li Wentao Liu Chengde Liu Shouhai Zhang Zhiyong Wei Yousi Chen Xigao Jian | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,4: | 2 |
