2Deep ultraviolet light-emitting diodes based on a well-ordered AlGaN nanorod array显示文摘The nanorod structure is an alternative scheme to develop high-efficiency deep ultraviolet light-emitting diodes(DUV LEDs). In this paper, we first report the electrically injected 274-nm AlGaN nanorod array DUV LEDs fabricated by the nanosphere lithography and dry-etching technique. Nanorod DUV LED devices with good electrical properties are successfully realized. Compared to planar DUV LEDs, nanorod DUV LEDs present>2.5 times improvement in light output power and external quantum efficiency. The internal quantum efficiency of nanorod LEDs increases by 1.2 times due to the transformation of carriers from the exciton to the free electron–hole, possibly driven by the interface state effect of the nanorod sidewall surface. In addition, the nanorod array significantly facilitates photons escaping from the interior of LEDs along the vertical direction, contributing to improved light extraction efficiency. A three-dimensional finite-different time-domain simulation is performed to analyze further in detail the TE-and TM-polarized photon extraction mechanisms of the nanostructure. 3Bi2WO6 doped with rare earth ions:Preparation,characterization and photocatalytic activity under simulated solar irradiation显示文摘Rare-earth modification Bi2WO6 composites(RE/Bi2WO6)were studied by experimental performance and theory computation based on the different 4 f orbits of selected rare earth elements(La,Ce,Gd,and Yb).The prepared RE/Bi2WO6 was characterized by XRD,SEM/TEM,XPS,UV-vis DRS,and N2 adsorption to learn their physical-chemical properties.Azo dye Rhodamine B(RhB)was photodegraded as a target pollutant to investigate the photocatalytic activity of prepared RE/Bi2WO6 composites.The results of experiment and computation show that four rare earth elements with different electron configurations retain the phase and morphology of Bi2 WO6 and enhance the removal efficiency of RhB under simulated solar irradiation.The optimum doping contents are 0.01%,0.05%,0.05%and 0.01%for La-,Ce-,Gd-,and Yb-doped Bi2WO6,respectively.However,light rare earth La and Ce doped composites indicate some difference in visible light adso rption capacity and mineralization on RhB co mpared with heavy rare earth Gd and Yb doped composites.Both La/Bi2WO6 and Ce/Bi2 WO6 possess larger pore size and higher mineralization ability than Gd/Bi2 WO6 and Yb/Bi2WO6 under the same experimental conditions while Gd/Bi2WO6 and Yb/Bi2WO6 show stronger red shift to the visible light due to the more 4 f electrons.The hole oxidation plays a major role in the photodegradation of RhB by all RE/Bi2WO6.Chunying Wang Chuantao Gu Ting Zeng Qingqing Zhang Xianping Luo 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,1:6
4The heterogeneity of islet autoantibodies and the progression of islet failure in type 1 diabetic patients显示文摘Type 1 diabetes mellitus is heterogeneous in many facets. The patients suffered from type 1 diabetes present several levels of islet function as well as variable number and type of islet-specific autoantibodies. This study was to investigate prevalence and heterogeneity of the islet autoantibodies and clinical phenotypes of type 1 diabetes mellitus; and also discussed the process of islet failure and its risk factors in Chinese type 1 diabetic patients. A total of 1,291 type 1 diabetic patients were enrolled in this study. Demographic information was collected. Laboratory tests including mixed-meal tolerance test, human leukocyte antigen alleles, hemoglobin A1 c, lipids, thyroid function and islet autoantibodies were conducted. The frequency of islet-specific autoantibody in newly diagnosed T1 DM patients(duration shorter than half year) was 73% in East China. According to binary logistic regressions, autoantibody positivity, longer duration and lower Body Mass Index were the risk factors of islet failure. As the disease developed, autoantibodies against glutamic acid decarboxylase declined as well as the other two autoantibodies against zinc transporter 8 and islet antigen 2. The decrease of autoantibodies was positively correlated with aggressive beta cell destruction. Autoantibodies can facilitate the identification of classic T1 DM from other subtypes and predict the progression of islet failure. 6Upcycling biomass waste into Fe single atom catalysts for pollutant control显示文摘Contaminants of heavy metals and antibiotics, which are frequently detected in water, soil and food chains with increasing prevalence in our current society, can cause potential harm to human health and disrupt human ecosystem irreversibly. Herein, we have successfully utilized biomass waste ferns contaminated by iron mines, to fabricate a first-of-its-kind high-performance class of Fe single-atom catalysts(FeSAC) by a facile pyrolysis. The optimal FeSAC-800 shows an excellent efficiency in the fastphotocatalytic degradation of six types of quinolone antibiotics(e.g., norfloxacin, levofloxacin, ciprofloxacin, enrofloxacin, lomefloxacin, flumequine) in 1 h under the simulated natural light irradiation. Based on advanced characterization, a well-defined structure of FeN_(4), confined in the porous carbon is elaborated for the FeSAC-800. Mechanism of the photodegradation is via a Fenton-like oxidation process whereas the reactive oxygen species play a key role. 7Amorphization activated FeB_(2) porous nanosheets enable efficient electrocatalytic N_(2) fixation显示文摘Designing active,robust and cost-effective catalysts for the nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR) is of paramount significance for sustainable electrochemical NH3 synthesis.Transition-metal diborides(TMB_2)have been recently theoretically predicted to be a new class of potential NRR catalysts,but direct experimental evidence is still lacking.Herein,we present the first experimental demonstration that amorphous FeB_2 porous nanosheets(a-FeB_2 PNSs) could be a highly efficient NRR catalyst,which exhibited an NH3 yield of 39.8 μg h^(-1) mg^(-1)(-0.3 V) and a Faradaic efficiency of 16.7%(-0.2 V),significantly outperforming their crystalline counterpart and most of existing NRR catalysts.First-principle calculations unveiled that the amorphization could induce the upraised d-band center of a-FeB_2 to boost d-2π~* coupling between the active Fe site and ~*N_2 H intermediate,resulting in enhanced ~*N_2 H stabilization and reduced reaction barrier.Out study may facilitate the development and understanding of earth-abundant TMB_2-based catalysts for electrocatalytic N_2 fixation.Ke Chu Weicong Gu Qingqing Li Yaping Liu Ye Tian Wuming Liu 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,2:2

9Dissection of Z-disc myopalladin gene network involved in the development of restrictive cardiomyopathy using system genetics approach显示文摘AIM To investigate the regulation of Myopalladin(Mypn) and identify its gene network involved in restrictive cardiomyopathy(RCM).METHODS Gene expression values were measured in the heart of a large family of BXD recombinant inbred(RI) mice derived from C57BL/6J and DBA/2J. The proteomics data were collected from Mypn knock-in and knock-out mice. Expression quantitative trait locus(eQ TL) mapping methods and gene enrichment analysis were used to identify Mypn regulation,gene pathway and co-expression networks.RESULTS A wide range of variation was found in expression of Mypn among BXD strains. We identified upstream genetic loci at chromosome 1 and 5 that modulate the expression of Mypn. Candidate genes within these loci include Ncoa2,Vcpip1,Sgk3,and Lgi2. We also identified 15 sarcomeric genes interacting with Mypn and constructed the gene network. Two novel members of this network(Syne1 and Myom1) have been confirmed at the protein level. Several members in this network are already known to relate to cardiomyopathy with some novel genes candidates that could be involved in RCM. CONCLUSION Using systematic genetics approach,we constructed Mypn co-expression networks that define the biological process categories within which similarly regulated genes function. 12Solution-processed multi-resonance organic light-emitting diodes with high efficiency and narrowband emission显示文摘With excellent color purity(full-width half maximum(FWHM)<40 nm)and high quantum yield,multiresonance(MR)molecules can harvest both singlet and triplet excitons for highly efficient narrowband organic light-emitting diodes(OLEDs)owing to their thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF)nature.However,the highly rigid molecular skeleton with the oppositely positioned bo ron and nitrogen in generating MR effects results in the intrinsic difficulties in the solution-processing of MR-OLEDs.Here,we demonstrate a facile strategy to increase the solubility,enhance the efficiencies and modulate emission color of MR-TADF molecules by extending aromatic rings and introducing tert-butyls into the MR backbone.Two MR-TADF emitters with smaller singlet-triplet splitting energies(ΔE~(ST))and larger oscillator strengths were prepared conveniently,and the solution-processed MR-OLEDs were fabricated for the first time,exhibiting efficient bluish-green electroluminescence with narrow FWHM of 32 nm and external quantum efficiency of 16.3%,which are even comparable to the state-of-the-art performances of the vacuum-evaporated devices.These results prove the feasibility of designing efficient solutionprocessible MR molecules,offering important clues in developing high-performance solution-processed MR-OLEDs with high efficiency and color purity.Shen Xu Qingqing Yang Ying Zhang Hui Li Qin Xue Guohua Xie Minzhao Gu Jibiao Jin Ling Huang Runfeng Chen 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,4:1

16Asymmetrically coordinated single-atom iron nanozymes with Fe-N_(1)C_(2)structure:A peroxidase mimetic for melatonin detection显示文摘Owing to the unique coordination environment and high atom utilization efficiency,single atom catalysts have been considered as an ideal artificial enzyme to mimic natural enzymes.Herein,single-atom Fe nanozyme anchored on N-doped Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx(Fe SA/N-Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx)with asymmetrically coordinated Fe-N_(1)C_(2)configuration is synthesized by vacancy capture and heteroatom doping strategy,which exhibits excellent peroxidase-like activity.Based on the results of peroxidase catalytic kinetics and X-ray adsorption fine spectroscopy,the Fe-N_(1)C_(2)active sites in Fe SA/N-Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx are responsible for the excellent performance.Furthermore,the developed Fe SA/N-Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx can be employed to quantitative detection of melatonin(MT),which shows a wide linear detection range(0.01-100μM)and an excellent detection limit(7.3 nM)in buffer,0.01-100μM and 7.8 nM in serum samples.Our work proves that MXene-based single atoms can be promising nanozyme in the field of bioassays.Lihong Lin Heng Li Hongfei Gu Zhiyi Sun Juan Huang Zhenni Qian Hang Li Juzhe Liu Hongyan Xi Pengfei Wu Qingqing Liu Shuhu Liu Lirong Zheng Zhuo Chen Zhengbo Chen Juanjuan Qi 2023Nano Research2023,16,4:1
17Interface electronic engineering of molybdenum sulfide/MXene hybrids for highly efficient biomimetic sensors显示文摘Interface regulation plays a key role in the electrochemical performance for biosensors.By controlling the interfacial interaction,the electronic structure of active species can be adjusted effectively at micro and nano-level,which results in the optimal reaction energy barrier.Herein,we propose an interface electronic engineering scheme to design a strongly coupled 1T phase molybdenum sulfide(1T-MoS2)/MXene hybrids for constructing an efficient electrocatalytic biomimetic sensor.The local electronic and atomic structures of the 1T-MoS2/Ti3C2TX are comprehensively studied by synchrotron radiation-based X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),as well as X-ray absorption spectroscopy(XAS)at atomic level.Experiments and theoretical calculations show that there are interfacial stresses,atomic defects and adjustable bond-length between MoS2/MXene nanosheets,which can significantly promote biomolecular adsorption and rapid electron transfer to achieve excellent electrochemical activity and reaction kinetics.The 1T-MoS2/Ti3C2TX modified electrode shows ultra high sensitivity of 1.198μA/μM for dopamine detection with low limit of 0.05μM.We anticipate that the interface electronic engineering investigation could provide a basic idea for guiding the exploration of advanced biosensors with high sensitivity and low detection limit.Pengfei Wu Tingting You Qingyuan Ren Hongyan Xi Qingqing Liu Fengjuan Qin Hongfei Gu Yu Wang Wensheng Yan Yukun Gao Wenxing Chen Penggang Yin 2023Nano Research2023,16,1:0

19An improved window opening behavior model involving the division of the dummy variable’s interval level:Case study of an office building in Xi’an during summer显示文摘Window opening behavior significantly impacts indoor air quality,thermal comfort,and energy consumption.A field measurement was carried out in three typical rooms(a standard office,a meeting room and a smoking office)within an office building.The window state and the physical environment were continuously recorded during the measured periods.Three typical window opening behaviors were found in the measured samples,namely,active,moderate,and passive.The common logistic regression coefficient indicated that solar radiation exhibited the greatest effect on window opening behavior in the smoking office and standard office.Typically,window opening behavior in the meeting room was the most strongly correlated with time of the day,mainly because of the meeting schedule for occupants in the meeting room.This study discussed the dividing principles involved in setting the dummy variable interval level(discretizing continuous variables and dividing them into different intervals),and proposed a method to determine the optimal interval level of each variable.The improved model led to the increase in the prediction accuracy rate of the window being opened by 2.0%and 3.3%according to the comparison with the original model based on dummy variables and the common model based on continuous variables,respectively.This study can provide a reference value for simulating energy consumption in office buildings in the future.Yaxiu Gu Tingting Wang Qingqing Dong Zhuangzhuang Ma Tong Cui Changgui Hu Kun Liu Song Pan Qian Qi Minyan Xie 2023Building Simulation2023,16,11:0
20Improved ECG signal compression method for E-healthcare显示文摘For achieving a higher compression ratio(CR)in compression sensing,the time-sparse bio-signals,such as electrocardiograph(ECG),are generally directly filtered via a dynamic or fixed threshold,however,inevitably leading to the loss of critical diagnostic bio-information.We propose a compression scheme to reduce the transmitting loss.Instead of the directly utilizing the original ECG data,the residuals between original and synthetic ECG signals are applied as the input signal.We employ the dynamic model to guarantee the consistency between the synthetic ECG signals waves(P,Q,R,S,and T)and the originals.The feasibility of the proposed method is tested through operating on the recorded ECG signals from a healthy human.During the process of building simulation platform,the sparsity,percentage root mean difference(PRD)versus sampling frequency,and signals reconstruction algorithm are fully taken into account.Before compression,we set the threshold to filter the residual waves,in which utilizing the residuals as input data by setting the thresold as 0.01 mV and 0.08 mV resulted the amount reduction of the transmitting data by 18%and 81.2%,respectively.And the simulation results show that CR can reach 2.75 when the PRD value is less than 9%.Gao Miao Yu Zhiguo Li Qingqing Wei Jinghe Gu Xiaofeng 2019The Journal of China Universities of Posts and Telecommunications2019,26,4:0
