| 1 | Chemical composition of PM_(2.5) during winter in Tianjin,China显示文摘PM2.5 samples for 24 h were collected during winter in Tianjin,China. The ambient mass concentration and chemical composition of the PM2.5 were determined. Ionic species were analyzed by ion chromatog-raphy,while carbonaceous species were determined with the IMPROVE thermal optical reectance(TOR) method,and inorganic elements were measured by inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spec-trometer. The daily PM2.5 mass concentrations ranged from 48.2 to 319.2 g/m3 with an arithmetic average of 144.6 g/m3. The elevated PM2.5 in winter was mostly attributed to combustion sources such as vehicle exhaust,heating,cooking and industrial emissions,low wind speeds and high relative humidity(RH) ,which were favorable for pollutant accumulation and formation of secondary pollutants. By chem-ical mass balance,it was estimated that about 89.1% of the PM2.5 mass concentrations were explained by carbonaceous species,secondary particles,crustal matters,sea salt and trace elements. Organic material was the largest contributor,accounting for about 32.7% of the total PM2.5 mass concentrations. | 2 | New records of Jurassic petrified wood in Jianchang of western Liaoning,China and their palaeoclimate implications显示文摘Diverse and rich fossil wood records have been documented from the Mesozoic of Liaoning Province, NE China. The Tiaojishan Formation(mainly distributed in Beipiao, Chaoyang, Fuxin and Jianchang regions) is one of the most significant horizons for the Jurassic petrified wood in Liaoning Province. Previously, wood fossils of this formation were mainly reported in Beipiao and Chaoyang regions, whereas fossil wood record was merely known in Jianchang region. Here we describe new fossil wood specimens from the Tiaojishan Formation in Jianchang County, western Liaoning. Two fossil wood taxa, i.e., Protaxodioxylon jianchangense Tian et Wang sp. nov. and Xenoxylon peidense Zheng et Zhang were recognized on the basis of anatomical features. These fossil wood records add new data for understanding the fossil wood diversity, floral composition and palaeoclimate of the Tiaojishan Formation. | 3 | Mode-locked 2.8-μm fluoride fiber laser:from soliton to breathing pulse显示文摘The mode-locked fluoride fiber laser(MLFFL)is an exciting platform for directly generating ultrashort pulses in the mid-infrared(mid-IR).However,owing to difficulty in managing the dispersion in fluoride fiber lasers,MLFFLs are restricted to the soliton regime,hindering pulse-energy scaling.We overcame the problem of dispersion management by utilizing the huge normal dispersion generated near the absorption edge of an infrared-bandgap semiconductor and promoted MLFFL from soliton to breathing-pulse mode-locking.In the breathing-pulse regime,the accumulated nonlinear phase shift can be significantly reduced in the cavity,and the pulse-energy-limitation effect is mitigated.The breathing-pulse MLFFL directly produced a pulse energy of 9.3 nJ and pulse duration of 215 fs,with a record peak power of 43.3 kW at 2.8μm.Our work paves the way for the pulse-energy and peak-power scaling of mid-IR fluoride fiber lasers,enabling a wide range of applications. | Zhipeng Qin Guoqiang Xie Hongan Gu Ting Hai Peng Yuan Jingui Ma Liejia Qian | 2019 | Advanced Photonics2019,1,6: | 9 |
| 4 | Diurnal and Seasonal Variations of CO2Fluxes and Their Climate Controlling Factors for a Subtropical Forest in Ningxiang显示文摘In this study, the diurnal and seasonal variations of CO2 fluxes in a subtropical mixed evergreen forest in Ningxiang of Hunan Province, part of the East Asian monsoon region, were quantified for the first time. The fluxes were based on eddy covariance measurements from a newly initiated flux tower. The relationship between the CO2 fluxes and climate factors was also analyzed. The results showed that the target ecosystem appeared to be a clear carbon sink in 2013, with integrated net ecosystem CO2exchange(NEE), ecosystem respiration(RE), and gross ecosystem productivity(GEP) of-428.8, 1534.8 and1963.6 g C m-2yr-1, respectively. The net carbon uptake(i.e. the-NEE), RE and GEP showed obvious seasonal variability,and were lower in winter and under drought conditions and higher in the growing season. The minimum NEE occurred on12 June(-7.4 g C m-2d-1), due mainly to strong radiation, adequate moisture, and moderate temperature; while a very low net CO2 uptake occurred in August(9 g C m-2month-1), attributable to extreme summer drought. In addition, the NEE and GEP showed obvious diurnal variability that changed with the seasons. In winter, solar radiation and temperature were the main controlling factors for GEP, while the soil water content and vapor pressure deficit were the controlling factors in summer. | 5 | Behavior of Siderophile and Chalcophile Elements in the Subcontinental Lithospheric Mantle beneath the Changbaishan Volcano,NE China显示文摘The mantle xenoliths in the Quaternary ChangbaishanVolcano in southern Jilin Province contain spinel-facies lherzolites.The equilibration temperatures for these samples range from 902oC to 1064oC based on the two-pyroxene thermometer of Brey and K?hler(1990),and using the oxybarometry of Nell and Wood(1991),the oxidation state was estimated from FMQ-1.32 to-0.38 with an average value of FMQ-0.81(n=8),which is comparable to that of abyssal peridotites and the asthenospheric mantle.The fO2 values of peridotites,together with their bulk rock compositions(e.g.,Mg#,Al2O3,CaO,Ni,Co,Cr) and mineral compositions(e.g.,Mg# of olivine and pyroxene,Cr# [=Cr/[Cr+Al]] and Mg# [=Mg/[Mg+Fe2+] of spinel),suggest that the present-day subcontinental lithospheric mantle(SCLM) beneath the Changbaishan Volcano most likely formed from an upwelling asthenosphere at some time after the late Mesozoic and has undergone a low degree of partial melting.The studied lherzolite xenoliths show low concentrations of S,Cu,and platinum group elements(PGE),which plot a flat pattern on primitive-mantle normalized diagram.Very low concentrations in our samples suggest that PGEs occur as alloys or hosted by silicate and oxide minerals.The compositions of the studied samples are similar to those of peridotite xenoliths in the Longgang volcanic field(LVF) in their mineralogy and bulk rock compositions including the abundance of chalcophile and siderophile elements.However,they are distinctly different from those of peridotite xenoliths in other areas of the North China Craton(NCC) in terms of Cu,S and PGE.Our data suggest that the SCLM underlying the northeastern part of the NCC may represent a distinct unit of the newly formed lithospheric mantle. | WANG Jian LIU Jinlin HATTORI Keiko XU Wenliang XIE Zhipeng SONG Yue | 2012 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2012,86,2: | 8 |
| 6 | 2.8 μm all-fiber Q-switched and mode-locked lasers with black phosphorus显示文摘In past years, rare-earth-doped fluoride fiber lasers(FFLs) have developed rapidly in the mid-infrared(mid-IR)region. However, due to the lack of fiber optic devices and challenge of fluoride fiber splicing, most mid-IR FFLs have been demonstrated with free-space optic elements, limiting the advantages of all-fiber lasers for flexible delivery, stability, and compactness. Here, we report, to the best of our knowledge, the first pulsed all-fiber FFL in the mid-IR region. By taking advantage of the integration of black phosphorus flake, stable Q-switched and mode-locked pulses were obtained at 2.8 μm wavelength. | 7 | Crystalline boron nitride nanosheets by sonication-assisted hydrothermal exfoliation显示文摘A simple method to prepare two-dimensional hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN) scalably is essential for practical applications. Despite intense research in this area, high-yield production of two-dimensional h-BN with large size and high crystallinity is still a key challenge. In the present work, we propose a simple exfoliation process for boron nitride nanosheets(BNNSs) with high crystallinity by sonication-assisted hydrothermal method, via the synergistic effect of the high pressure, and cavitation of the sonication. Compared with the method only by sonication, the sonication-assisted hydrothermal method can get the fewer-layer BNNSs with high crystallinity.Meanwhile, it can reach higher yield of nearly 1.68%, as the hydrothermal method with the yield of only 0.12%. | 9 | Role of Co Content on Densification and Microstructure of WC–Co Cemented Carbides Prepared by Selective Laser Melting显示文摘WC–Co cemented carbides, well-known as the conventional tooling materials, have not been successfully produced by one step additive manufacturing processes such as selective laser melting(SLM) yet. The microstructure evolution as well as WC grain growth behavior has rarely been investigated in detail during SLM process. In this study, the WC–Co cemented carbides with different Co contents(12–32 wt%) were prepared by optimized SLM processes for comparative investigation of densification behavior, microstructure characterization and mechanical property. The increase in Co content in feedstock carbide granules can improve the densification behavior during SLM process. The SLM processed WC-12 Co shows larger average WC grain size and higher percentage of coarser WC grains as compared with both WC-20 Co and WC-32 Co. The microstructure characterization, combined with finite element simulation, shows the WC grain growth mechanisms include agglomeration and dissolution-deposition of WC during SLM process and agglomeration of WC is an important mechanism especially for WC–Co cemented carbides with Co content as low as 12 wt%. | 10 | Meteorite classification for building the Chinese Antarctic Meteorite Depository Introduction of the classification of 500 Grove Mountains meteorites显示文摘Meteorites provide an important window into the origins and evolution of the solar system. Since the first four meteorites were recovered in Grove Mountains, Antarctica, in 1998, a further total of 12665 meteorites have been collected over seven polar seasons in the Grove Mountains. All of these meteorites are owned and managed by the Chinese Antarctic Meteorite Depository(CAMD) at the Polar Research Institute of China(PRIC). In recent years, another 500 Antarctic meteorites have been classified and characterized based on mineralogy and petrology. In this work we examine four samples that have been identified as terrestrial, and a further 496 samples that have been confirmed as meteorites. These meteorites are further divided into different types:488 ordinary chondrites, one eucrite, one ureilite, one CM2 carbonaceous chondrite, one EH4 enstatite chondrite, one mesosiderite and three iron meteorites. | 11 | Reservoir forming conditions and key exploration technologies of Lingshui 17-2 giant gas field in deepwater area of Qiongdongnan Basin显示文摘On September 15,2014,China National Offshore Oil Co.,Ltd announced that a high production of oil and gas flow of 1.6106 m3/d was obtained in Well LS17-2-1 in deepwater area in northern South China Sea,which is the first great oil and gas discovery for self-run deepwater exploration in China sea areas,and a strategic breakthrough was made in natural gas exploration in deepwater area of Lingshui sag in Qiongdongnan Basin.Under the combined action of climax of international deepwater exploration,high oil prices,national demands of China,practical needs of exploration,breakthroughs in seismic exploration and testing technologies,innovations in geological cognition and breakthroughs in deepwater operation equipment,Lingshui 17-2 gas field is discovered.Among these factors,the innovation in reservoir forming geological cognition directly promotes the discovery.The quality of seismic data in the early time is poor,so key reservoir forming conditions such as effective source rocks,high quality reservoirs and oil-gas migration pathways are unable to be ascertained;with support of new seismic acquisition and processing technology,some researches show that Lingshui sag is a successive large and deep sag with an area of 5000 km2 and the maximum thickness of Cenozoic stratum of 13 km.In the Early Oligocene,the Lingshui sag was a semi-closed delta-estuarine environment,where the coalmeasure and marine mudstones in Lower Oligocene Yacheng Formation were developed.The Lingshui sag is a sag with high temperature,and the bottom temperature of source rocks in Yacheng Formation can exceed 250C,but the simulation experiment of hydrocarbon generation at high temperature indicates that the main part of this set of source rock is still in the gas-generation window,with resources of nearly 1 trillion cubic meters,so the Lingshui sag is a hydrocarbon-rich generation sag.In the Neogene,the axial canyon channel from the Thu Bon River in Vietnam passed through the Lingshui sag,and five stages of secondary channels were developed in the axial canyon channel,where four types of reservoirs with excellent physical properties including the axial sand,lateral accretion sand,natural levee sand as well as erosion residual sand were developed,and lithologic traps or structural-lithologic traps were formed.The diapiric zone in the southern Lingshui sag connects deep source rocks in Yacheng Formation and shallow sandstones in the channels,and the migration pattern of natural gas is a T-type migration pattern,in other words,the natural gas generated from Yacheng Formation migrates vertically to the interior of the channel sandbody,and then migrates laterally in the channel reservoirs and forms the reservoirs.Innovations of geophysical exploration technologies for complicated geological conditions of deepwater areas are made,such as the detuning comprehensive quantitative amplitude hydrocarbon detection technology,which greatly improves the success rate of deepwater exploration;key technologies of deepwater safety exploratory well testing represented by the platform-dragged riser displacement technology are developed,which greatly reduces the drilling test cost.The above key exploration technologies provide a strong guarantee for the efficient exploration and development of Lingshui gas field. | Yuhong Xie Gongcheng Zhang Zhipeng Sun Qingbo Zeng Zhao Zhao Shuai Guo | 2019 | Petroleum Research2019,4,1: | 3 |

| 13 | Petrogenesis of Early Carboniferous Ultramafic-Mafic Volcanic Rocks in the Southern Changning-Menglian Belt,Southeastern Tibetan Plateau:Implications for the Evolution of the Paleo-Tethyan Ocean显示文摘The Changning-Menglian Belt represents the main Paleo-Tethyan Suture in the southeastern Tibetan Plateau,which divides Gondwana-and Eurasia-derived continental fragments from each other.The belt contains ultramafic-mafic volcanic rocks that provide evidence of the tectonic processes which operated during the evolution of the Paleo-Tethyan Ocean.New geochemical data for Early Carboniferous volcanics in the southern Changning-Menglian Belt show that wehrlites have cumulate and poikilitic textures,and contain low-Fo(84.2-87.2)olivine,clinopyroxene with low Mg#values(79.4-85.6),and spinel with high Cr#values(67.8-72.4).Estimated equilibrium temperatures obtained using olivine-spinel Fe-Mg exchange geothermometry range from 978℃ to 1373℃(mean=1205℃;n=3).These observations combined with a lack of reaction or melt impregnation textures indicate that these units represent magmatic cumulates rather than having formed as a result of mantle-melt reactions.Both wehrlites and basalts in the belt have subparallel rare earth element(REE)-and primitive-mantle-normalized multi-element patterns with slightly positive Nb-Ta anomalies,but negligible Eu and Zr-Hf anomalies.The volcanics have similar Sr-Nd-Pb isotopic compositions withεNd(t)values of 4.2-4.5(mean=4.3;n=3)and 4.0-4.4(mean 4.2;n=4),respectively,and also have similar immobile element ratios,such as Nb/La,Nb/U,Th/La,Zr/Nb,Th/Ta,La/Yb,Nb/Th,Nb/Y,and Zr/Y.These characteristics indicate both units have ocean island basalt(OIB)-like geochemical affinities,consistent with the fact that the clinopyroxene in the wehrlites is compositionally similar to OIB-related cumulus clinopyroxene.This suggests that both the wehrlites and basalts were derived from similar parental magmas that underwent generally closed-system magmatic differentiation dominated by fractionation of the olivine and clinopyroxene.This parental magma was likely generated in an oceanic seamount setting from an OIB-type mantle source(i.e.,asthenospheric mantle)containing garnet-spinel lherzolite material.Combing this new data with that from oceanic seamount volcano-sedimentary suites derived from previous research enables the identification of a mature late Paleozoic ocean basin between the passive northeastern Gondwanan margin and the northward-migrating microcontinent of Lanping-Simao. | XIE Zhipeng WU Xuelu WANG Tengfei XUE Chuandong YANG Tiannan WANG Wei SUI Binxi XIN Di | 2022 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2022,96,3: | 2 |
| 14 | Electrochemical performance of La_(2)NiO_(4+δ)-Ce_(0.55)La_(0.45)O_(2−δ)as a promising bifunctional oxygen electrode for reversible solid oxide cells显示文摘In this work,La_(2)NiO_(4+δ)-Ce_(0.55)La_(0.45)O_(2−δ)(denoted as LNO-xLDC)with various LDC contents(x=0,10,20,30,and 40 wt%)were prepared and evaluated as bifunctional oxygen electrodes for reversible solid oxide cells(RSOCs).Compared with the pure LNO,the optimum composition of LNO-30LDC exhibited the lowest polarization resistance(Rp)of 0.53 and 0.12Ω·cm^(2)in air at 650 and 750℃,respectively.The enhanced electrochemical performance of LNO-30LDC oxygen electrode was mainly attributed to the extended triple phase boundary and more oxygen ionic transfer channels.The hydrogen electrode supported single cell with LNO-30LDC oxygen electrode displayed peak power densities of 276,401,and 521 mW·cm^(−2)at 700,750,and 800℃,respectively.Moreover,the electrolysis current density of the single cell demonstrated 526.39 mA·cm^(−2) under 1.5 V at 800℃,and the corresponding hydrogen production rate was 220.03 mL·cm^(−2)·h^(−1).The encouraging results indicated that LNO-30LDC was a promising bifunctional oxygen electrode material for RSOCs. | Pengzhang Li Wei Yang Chuanjin Tian Wenyan Zhao Zhe Lü Zhipeng Xie Chang-An Wang | 2021 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,2: | 2 |

| 17 | Structural whiteness of the multi-component glaze dependence on amorphous photonic crystals显示文摘A kind of enhancing mechanism of structural whiteness dependence on amorphous photonic crystal (APC) structure is introduced in this paper. In the glaze system composed of albite, kaolin, talc, calcite, quartz, titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, the APC structure will be produced by using quartz as a variable to induce the phase separation. Under different polarities between Ti, Zn etc. and Siion, the separated spheres with the core-shell structure can be obtained and then make up opal-like APCs in the glaze layer. In addition to inner and outer layers of core-shell spheres, the calculated results of refractive indices clearly show the great difference between the particles and the matrix. As a result of different refractive indices, the multiple scatting of visible light plays a key rote in the structural whiteness. However, due to the decrease of the cationic content, APCs with the reverse opal structure would be formed in the interface between glaze and body. | 18 | Aqueous Zn-MnO_(2) battery: Approaching the energy storage limit with deep Zn^(2+) pre-intercalation and revealing the ions insertion/extraction mechanisms显示文摘Rechargeable aqueous zinc ion batteries(AZIBs)were considered as one of the most promising candidates for large-scale energy storage due to the merits of high safety and inexpensiveness.As AZIBs cathode material,Mn O_(2)possesses great merits but was greatly hindered due to the sluggish diffusion kinetic of Zn^(2+) during electrochemical operations.Herein,deep Zn^(2+) ions intercalatedδ-Mn O_(2)(Zn-Mn O_(2))was achieved by the in situ electrochemical deposition route,which significantly enhanced the diffusion ability of Zn^(2+) due to the synergistic effects of Zn^(2+) pillars and structural H;O.The resultant Zn-Mn O_(2)based AZIBs delivers a record capacity of 696 m Ah/g(0.5 m Ah/cm^(2))based on the initial mass loading,which is approaching the theoretical capacity of Mn O_(2)with a two-electrons reaction.In-situ Raman studies reveal highly reversible Zn^(2+)ions insertion/extraction behaviors and here the Zn-Mn O_(2)plays the role of a container during the charge–discharge process.Further charge storage mechanism investigations point out the insertion/extraction of Zn^(2+) and H^(+) coincides,and such process is significantly facilitated results from superior interlayered configurations of Zn-Mn O_(2)The excellent electrochemical performance of Zn-Mn O_(2)achieved in this work suggests the deep ions pre-intercalation strategy may aid in the future development of advanced cathodes for AZIBs. | Yaxiong Zhang Xiaosha Cui Yupeng Liu Situo Cheng Peng Cui Yin Wu Zhenheng Sun Zhipeng Shao Jiecai Fu Erqing Xie | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,4: | 2 |
