Dielectric composites with a high and temperature-independent dielectric constant显示文摘Dielectric composites made using P(VDF-CTFE)88/12 mol%as polymer matrix and both micro-sized and nano-sized CaCu3Ti4O12(CCTO)particles as filler are developed. These composites exhibit high dielectric constant with a small dielectric loss.More importantly,it is found that the dielectric constant of these composites is almost independent of temperature from 25℃to 125℃.Comparing the composites made using micro-sized CCTO particles, the composites made using nano-sized CCTO particles exhibit a smaller dielectric loss. The dielectric properties of these composites indicate that the nano-sized CCTO particles have a smaller dielectric constant than the micro-sized CCTO particles.Xiaobing SHAN Lin ZHANG Xiqiao YANG Z-Y.CHENG 2012Journal of Advanced Ceramics2012,1,4:7
Indication from finite-frequency tomography beneath the North China Craton: The heterogeneity of craton destruction显示文摘We picked new traveltime residual datasets in three frequency bands(0.02–0.1, 0.1–0.8, and 0.8–2.0 Hz) for P-waves from 793 teleseismic events and two frequency bands(0.02–0.1 and 0.1–0.8 Hz) for S-waves from 310 teleseismic events, recorded by 389 permanent stations of the China National Seismic Network and 832 broadband stations of 10 temporary arrays deployed in the North China Craton(NCC) region. The final datasets are composed of 65628 P-arrivals and 47050 S-arrivals.Based on previous research and our team's 2012 tomographic work, we constructed new three-dimensional P-velocity and Svelocity models of the NCC through some improvements, such as augmenting a much denser station coverage in the western NCC, considering the incident angle effect in crustal correction and using a multi-frequency joint inversion tomographic technique. The new velocity models provide several salient features, from which we draw possible inferences on regional dynamic processes. We observed high-velocity anomalies in the mantle transition zone(MTZ). Obvious morphological heterogeneities suggest buckling and/or fragmentation of the subducted Pacific slab, and some of the slab materials are visible below 660-km discontinuities. The velocity structure of the eastern NCC is dominated by small-scale lateral heterogeneities. At shallow depths, high-velocity anomalies beneath the southern part of the eastern NCC and the Yanshan region likely represent a remnant of cratonic lithosphere, which may suggest that the NCC destruction is spatially non-uniform. We also detected a highvelocity anomaly in the Sulu Orogen extending downward to ~300 km, which is seemingly controlled by the Tan-Lu Fault. The northern boundary of this anomaly spatially coincides with the Yantai-Qingdao-Wulian Fault, and is likely a remnant of the Yangtze cratonic lithosphere subducting northwestward. Significant low-velocity anomalies imaged beneath the central NCC show a spatial discordance between their northern and southern parts. The northern low-velocity anomaly extends downward to the top of MTZ with a lateral NW-SE strike, whereas the southern one tapers off at ~200–300 km. Low-velocity anomalies are present beneath the Phanerozoic orogenic belts surrounding the NCC, the Paleoproterozoic Trans-North China Orogen, and the Tan-Lu Fault. This feature not only shows excellent spatial correlation with the orogens at the surface, it also exhibits a consistent vertical continuity in a depth range of 60–250 km. This intriguing feature suggests that the collisional orogenic belts and Tan-Lu Fault are inherited weak zones, which may play a key role in craton destruction. By combining multidisciplinary results in this area, we suggest that the spatial heterogeneities associated with the NCC destruction most likely result from the combined effects of a spatially non-uniform distribution of wet upwellings triggered by the subducted Pacific slab and pre-existing weak zones in the cratonic lithosphere.Xiaobing XU Liang ZHAO Kun WANG Jianfeng YANG 2018Science China Earth Sciences2018,61,9:7
A draft sequence of the rice (Oryza sativa ssp. indica) genome显示文摘The sequence of the rice genome holds fundamental information for its biology, including physiology, genetics, development, and evolution, as well as information on many beneficial phenotypes of economic significance. Using a 'whole genome shotgun' approach, we have pro-duced a draft rice genome sequence of Oryza sativa ssp. in-dica, the major crop rice subspecies in China and many other regions of Asia. The draft genome sequence is constructed from over 4.3 million successful sequencing traces with an accumulative total length of 2214.9 Mb. The initial assembly of the non-redundant sequences reached 409.76 Mb in length, based on 3.30 million successful sequencing traces with a total length of 1797.4 Mb from an indica variant cultivar 93-11, giving an estimated coverage of 95.29% of the rice genome with an average base accuracy of higher than 99%. 4Complete genome analysis of Ketogulonigenium sp. WB0104显示文摘Ketogulonigenium sp. may convert L-sorbose into 2-keto-L-gulonic acid, the vitamin C precursor. The genome of Ketogulonigenium sp. WB0104 consists of a circular 2765030 bp chromo- some with 61.69% G+C content and two circular plasmids of 267968 and 242707 bp. The genome contains 2727 open reading frames (ORFs). The systems of replication, transcription, translation, carbohydrate and energy metabolism are intact, but the repair system is incomplete. About 640 predicted ORFs have been found to encode transporter pro- teins, which account for about one fourth of total predicted ORFs, noticeably higher than other docu- mented bacteria. This may be due to the fact that WB0104 adapts to soil circumstance.YANG Fan JIA Qian XIONG Zhaohui ZHANG Xiaobing WU Hongtao ZHAO Ying YANG Jian ZHU Junping DONG Jie XUE Ying SUN Lilian SHEN Yan JIN Qi 2006Chinese Science Bulletin2006,51,8:6

Novel Co_3O_4 Nanoparticles/Nitrogen-Doped Carbon Composites with Extraordinary Catalytic Activity for Oxygen Evolution Reaction(OER)显示文摘Herein, Co_3O_4 nanoparticles/nitrogen-doped carbon(Co_3O_4/NPC) composites with different structures were prepared via a facile method. Structure control was achieved by the rational morphology design of ZIF-67 precursors, which were then pyrolyzed in air to obtain Co_3O_4/NPC composites. When applied as catalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER), the M-Co_3O_4/NPC composites derived from the flower-like ZIF-67 showedsuperior catalytic activities than those derived from the rhombic dodecahedron and hollow spherical ZIF-67. The former M-Co_3O_4/NPC composite displayed a small overpotential of 0.3 V, low onset potential of 1.41 V, small Tafel slope of 83 m V dec^(-1), and a desirable stability.(94.7% OER activity was retained after 10 h.) The excellent performance of the flower-like M-Co_3O_4/NPC composite in the OER was attributed to its favorable structure.Xiaobing Yang Juan Chen Yuqing Chen Pingjing Feng Huixian Lai Jintang Li Xuetao Luo 2018Nano-Micro Letters2018,10,1:4
Mechanism of dust removal by a standing wave electric curtain显示文摘In this paper, the mechanisms of particle movement on an electric curtain are examined.Intermittent bursts in which particles leaping from a surface of an electric curtain are demonstrated both by numerical simulation and experimental observation. The hopping and surfing modes during particle removal are shown to depend on the particle electric charge and its initial position. The particles initially located on the top of electrode have a large electric charge tend to assume a hopping mode.Transverse movement of the particle initially located between the electrodes is analyzed, and the particle traps along the electric curtain surface are also observed.SUN QiXia YANG NingNing CAI XiaoBing HU GengKai 2012Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2012,55,6:4
Runxl protects against the pathological progression of osteoarthritis显示文摘Runt-related transcription factor-1(Runxl)is required for chondrocyte-to-osteoblast lineage commitment by enhancing both chondrogenesis and osteogenesis during vertebrate development. However, the potential role of Runxl in joint diseases is not well known. In the current study,we aimed to explore the role of Runxl in osteoarthritis induced by anterior cruciate ligament transaction(ACLT)surgery. We showed that chondrocyte-specific Runxl knockout(Runx1f/fCol2a1-Cre)aggravated cartilage destruction by accelerating the loss of proteoglycan and collagen II in early osteoarthritis. Moreover,we observed thinning and ossification of the growth plate,a decrease in chondrocyte proliferative capacity and the loss of bone matrix around the growth plate in late osteoarthritis. We overexpressed Runxl by adeno-associated virus(AAV)in articular cartilage and identified its protective effect by slowing the destruction of osteoarthritis in cartilage in early osteoarthritis and alleviating the pathological progression of growth plate cartilage in late osteoarthritis.ChIP-seq analysis identified new targets that interacted with Runxl in cartilage pathology, and we confirmed the direct interactions of these factors with Runxl by ChIP-qPCR.This study helps us to understand the function of Runxl in osteoarthritis and provides new clues for targeted osteoarthritis therapy.Chenchen Zhou Yujia Cui Yueyi Yang Daimo Guo Demao Zhang Yi Fan Xiaobing Li Jing Zou Jing Xie 2021Bone Research2021,9,4:4
Heterogeneous destruction of the North China Craton: Coupled constraints from seismology and geodynamic numerical modeling显示文摘The prevailing academic view regards mantle flow and the metasomatism triggered by the subduction of the Pacific plate as the cause and mechanism for the destruction of the North China Craton(NCC). However, the geodynamic destruction process remains ambiguous, necessitating detailed information at this stage. Combining the structural images obtained by the exploration of dense seismic arrays and the geodynamic simulations inspired by numerical modeling, this paper arrives at the following conclusions: the spatial variation of the P-and S-wave velocities, as well as their velocity ratio in the mantle transition zone, are key evidences of the nonuniform dehydration of the Pacific plate, the subducted plate induces hot upwellings in the mantle transition zone(MTZ), resulting in the heterogeneous distribution of the melt/fluid beneath the craton, characterized by small scale anomalies in the seismic velocity field, and as revealed by dense seismic array observation, the heterogeneities in the upper mantle structure and deformation are the synthetic results of lithospheric strain localization and the heterogeneous distribution of the melt/fluid. It is known that the nonuniform dehydration of the Pacific slab and the heterogeneous distribution of the melt/fluid have occured in the Cenozoic. If these scenarios could have already occurred in the Early Cretaceous, their interaction with the NCC lithosphere would be the dynamic mechanism for the heterogeneous lithospheric destruction of the NCC. The inference in this study is significant for further reconciling the multidisciplinary evidences in the NCC.Kun WANG Liang ZHAO Xiaobing XU Jianfeng YANG 2018Science China Earth Sciences2018,61,5:3

Effects of cultivation of Osr HSA transgenic rice on functional diversity of microbial communities in the soil rhizosphere显示文摘With the widespread cultivation of transgenic crops, there is increasing concern about unintended effects of these crops on soil environmental quality. In this study, we used the Biolog method and ELISA to evaluate the possible effects of Osr HSA transgenic rice on soil microbial utilization of carbon substrates under field conditions. There were no significant differences in average well-color development(AWCD) values, Shannon–Wiener diversity index(H), Simpson dominance indices(D) and Shannon–Wiener evenness indices(E) of microbial communities in rhizosphere soils at eight samplings between Osr HSA transgenic rice and its non-transgenic counterpart. The main carbon sources utilized by soil microbes were carbohydrates, carboxylic acids, amino acids and polymers. The types, capacities and patterns of carbon source utilization by microbial communities in rhizosphere soils were similar throughout the detection period. We detected no Osr HSA protein in the roots of Osr HSA transgenic rice. We concluded that Osr HSA transgenic rice and the r HSA protein it produced did not alter the functional diversity of microbial communities in the rhizosphere.Xiaobing Zhang Xujing Wang Qiaoling Tang Ning Li Peilei Liu Yufeng Dong Weimin Pang Jiangtao Yang Zhixing Wang 2015The Crop Journal2015,3,2:3
One-Pot Synthesis of Co-Based Coordination Polymer Nanowire for Li-Ion Batteries with Great Capacity and Stable Cycling Stability显示文摘Nanowire coordination polymer cobalt–terephthalonitrile(Co-BDCN) was successfully synthesized using a simple solvothermal method and applied as anode material for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs). A reversible capacity of 1132 mAh g^(-1) was retained after 100 cycles at a rate of 100 mAg^(-1), which should be one of the best LIBs performances among metal organic frameworks and coordination polymers-based anode materials at such a rate. On the basis of the comprehensive structural and morphology characterizations including fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,~1 H NMR,^(13)C NMR, and scanning electron microscopy, we demonstrated that the great electrochemical performance of the as-synthesized Co-BDCN coordination polymer can be attributed to the synergistic effect of metal centers and organic ligands, as well as the stability of the nanowire morphology during cycling.Peng Wang Xiaobing Lou Chao Li Xiaoshi Hu Qi Yang Bingwen Hu 2018Nano-Micro Letters2018,10,2:3

Umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells:strategies, challenges, and potential for cutaneous regeneration显示文摘Umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)are a unique, accessible, and non-controversial source of early stem cells that can be readily manipulated. As the most common pluripotent cell, bone marrow-derived MSCs display limitations with the progress of stem cell therapy.By contrast, umbilical cord-derived cells, which have plentiful resources, are more accessible. However, several uncertain aspects, such as the effect of donor selection or culture conditions,long-term therapeutic effects, product consistency, and potential tumorigenicity, are the bottleneck in this clinical therapy.MSCs are predicted to undergo an unprecedented development in clinical treatment when a generally acknowledged criterion emerges. In the current paper,we highlight the application of umbilical cord-derived MSCs in skin therapies based on our previous studies,as well as the achievements of our peers in this field. This paper focuses on the strategies, challenges, and potential of this novel therapy.Siming Yang Sha Huang Changjiang Feng Xiaobing Fu 2012Frontiers of Medicine2012,6,1:2
Nanobody-based chimeric antigen receptor T cells designed by CRISPR/Cas9 technology for solid tumor immunotherapy显示文摘Chimeric antigen receptor-based T-cell immunotherapy is a promising strategy for treatment of hematological malignant tumors;however, its efficacy towards solid cancer remains challenging. We therefore focused on developing nanobody-based CAR-T cells that treat the solid tumor.CD105 expression is upregulated on neoangiogenic endothelial and cancer cells.CD105 has been developed as a drug target. Here we show the generation of a CD105-specific nanobody,an anti-human CD105 CAR-T cells,by inserting the sequences for anti-CD105 nanobody-linked standard cassette genes into AAVS1 site using CRISPR/Cas9 technology.Co-culture with CD105+target cells led to the activation of anti-CD105 CAR-T cells that displayed the typically activated cytotoxic T-cell characters, ability to proliferate, the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, and the specific killing efficacy against CD105+target cells in vitro. The in vivo treatment with anti-CD105 CAR-T cells significantly inhibited the growth of implanted CD105+tumors,reduced tumor weight, and prolonged the survival time of tumor-bearing NOD/SCID mice.Nanobody-based CAR-T cells can therefore function as an antitumor agent in human tumor xenograft models. Our findings determined that the strategy of nanobody-based CAR-T cells engineered by CRISPR/Cas9 system has a certain potential to treat solid tumor through targeting CD105 antigen.Fengzhen Mo Siliang Duan Xiaobing Jiang Xiaomei Yang Xiaoqiong Hou Wei Shi Cueva Jumbo Juan Carlos Aiqun Liu Shihua Yin Wu Wang Hua Yao Zihang Yu Zhuoran Tang Shenxia Xie Ziqiang Ding Xinyue Zhao Bruce D.Hammock Xiaoling Lu 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,3:2
