1Influence of mesoscale eddies on primary production in the South China Sea during spring inter-monsoon period显示文摘Mesoscale eddies have been suggested to have an impact on biological carbon fixation in the South China Sea(SCS). However, their overall contribution to primary production during the spring inter-monsoon period is still unknown. Based on large-scale biological and environmental in situ observations and synchronous remote sensing data, the distribution patterns of phytoplankton biomass and the primary production, and the role of mesoscale eddies in regulating primary production in different eddy-controlled waters were investigated. The results suggested that the surface chlorophyll a concentrations and water column integrated primary production(IPP) are significantly higher in cyclonic eddies and lower in the anticyclonic eddies as compared to that in non-eddy waters. Although eddies could affect various environmental factors, such as nutrients, temperature and light availability, nutrient supply is suggested to be the most important one through which mesoscale eddies regulated the distribution patterns of phytoplankton biomass and primary production. The estimated IPP in cyclonic and anticyclonic eddies are about 29.5% higher and 16.6% lower than the total average in the whole study area, respectively, indicating that the promotion effect of mesoscale cold eddies on the primary production was much stronger than the inhibition effect of the warm eddies per unit area. 2NOMA-Based Energy-Efficient Task Scheduling in Vehicular Edge Computing Networks: A Self-Imitation Learning-Based Approach显示文摘Mobile Edge Computing(MEC)is promising to alleviate the computation and storage burdens for terminals in wireless networks.The huge energy consumption of MEC servers challenges the establishment of smart cities and their service time powered by rechargeable batteries.In addition,Orthogonal Multiple Access(OMA)technique cannot utilize limited spectrum resources fully and efficiently.Therefore,Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access(NOMA)-based energy-efficient task scheduling among MEC servers for delay-constraint mobile applications is important,especially in highly-dynamic vehicular edge computing networks.The various movement patterns of vehicles lead to unbalanced offloading requirements and different load pressure for MEC servers.Self-Imitation Learning(SIL)-based Deep Reinforcement Learning(DRL)has emerged as a promising machine learning technique to break through obstacles in various research fields,especially in time-varying networks.In this paper,we first introduce related MEC technologies in vehicular networks.Then,we propose an energy-efficient approach for task scheduling in vehicular edge computing networks based on DRL,with the purpose of both guaranteeing the task latency requirement for multiple users and minimizing total energy consumption of MEC servers.Numerical results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms other methods.Peiran Dong Zhaolong Ning Rong Ma Xiaojie Wang Xiping Hu Bin Hu 2020China Communications2020,17,11:4
3Detection of QTL and QTN and candidate genes for oil content in soybean using a combination of four-way-RIL and germplasm populations显示文摘Soybean is a source of edible oil for humans and provides a third of the vegetable oil consumed worldwide.Increasing seed oil content in seeds is thus a key objective in soybean breeding.In the present study,a four-way recombinant inbred line(FW-RIL)population comprising 144 lines,planted in 10 environments,and a germplasm panel of 455 accessions,planted in two environments,were used to collect oil-content phenotypes.First,59 quantitative trait loci(QTL)were detected in the FW-RIL population by inclusive complete interval mapping on a linkage map consisting of 2232 single-nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)markers.Also in the FW-RILs,44 quantitative trait nucleotides(QTNs)were detected by association analysis using 109,676 SNP markers and fivemethods of multi-locus genome-wide association study.Second,77 QTN were detected by association analysis in the germplasm panel using 63,306 markers.Comparison of the QTL and QTN suggested four QTN controlling oil content.Pathway analysis was performed on genes in attenuation regions of these four QTN,and two candidate genes involved in the synthesis or metabolism of soybean oil were identified.These findings provide useful information about the genetics of oil content and may contribute to its genetic improvement by marker-assisted selection.Xiyu Li Kaixin Zhang Xu Sun Shanshan Huang Jiajing Wang Chang Yang Mahfishan Siyal Chao Wang Chunlan Guo Xiping Hu Wen-Xia Li Hailong Ning 2020The Crop Journal2020,8,5:2
4Nucleotide excision repair: a versatile and smart toolkit显示文摘Nucleotide excision repair (NER) is a major pathway to deal with bulky adducts induced by various environmental toxins in all cellular organisms. The two sub-pathways of NER, global genome repair (GGR) and transcription-coupled repair (TCR), differ in the damage recognition modes. In this review, we describe the molecular mechanism of NER in mammalian cells, especially the details of damage recognition steps in both sub-pathways. We also introduce new sequencing methods for genome-wide mapping of NER, as well as recent advances about NER in chromatin by these methods. 8Comparative transcriptomic analysis highlights contrasting levels of resistance of Vitis vinifera and Vitis amurensis to Botrytis cinerea显示文摘Botrytis cinerea is a major grapevine(Vitis spp.)pathogen,but some genotypes differ in their degree of resistance.For example,the Vitis vinifera cultivar Red Globe(RG)is highly susceptible,but V.amurensis Rupr Shuangyou(SY)is highly resistant.Here,we used RNA sequencing analysis to characterize the transcriptome responses of these two genotypes to B.cinerea inoculation at an early infection stage.Approximately a quarter of the genes in RG presented significant changes in transcript levels during infection,the number of which was greater than that in the SY leaves.The genes differentially expressed between infected leaves of SY and RG included those associated with cell surface structure,oxidation,cell death and C/N metabolism.We found evidence that an imbalance in the levels of reactive oxygen species(ROS)and redox homeostasis probably contributed to the susceptibility of RG to B.cinerea.SY leaves had strong antioxidant capacities and improved ROS homeostasis following infection.Regulatory network prediction suggested that WRKY and MYB transcription factors are associated with the abscisic acid pathway.Weighted gene correlation network analysis highlighted preinfection features of SY that might contribute to its increased resistance.Moreover,overexpression of VaWRKY10 in Arabidopsis thaliana and V.vinifera Thompson Seedless enhanced resistance to B.cinerea.Collectively,our study provides a high-resolution view of the transcriptional changes of grapevine in response to B.cinerea infection and novel insights into the underlying resistance mechanisms.Ran Wan Chunlei Guo Xiaoqing Hou Yanxun Zhu Min Gao Xiaoyan Hu Songlin Zhang Chen Jiao Rongrong Guo Zhi Li Xiping Wang 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:1

13HIRFL-CSR Vacuum Baking-out System显示文摘In order to meet the requirements of the beam storage time in HIRFL-CSR, the average vacuum degree in this system must be better than 6×10-9 Pa, so the system should be baked to about 250℃ on the line after being exposed to atmosphere and be well controlled. During the beam commissioning, the vacuum system of CSRm's injection beam line keeps a good condition in most of the cases. At the same time, the positions or contents of the experimental terminal have been changed and a new curing cancer beam line has been built up. 17Effect of iron ion configurations on Ni^(2+) removal in electrocoagulation显示文摘Electrocoagulation(EC)has been widely used to treat the heavymetal wastewater in industry.A novel process of sinusoidal alternating current electrocoagulation(SACC)is adopted to remove Ni2+in wastewater in this study.The morphology of precipitates and the distribution of the main functional iron configurations were investigated.Ferron timed complex spectroscopy can identify the monomeric iron configurations[Fe(a)],oligomeric iron configurations[Fe(b)]and polymeric iron configurations[Fe(c)].The optimal operating conditions of SACC process were determined through single-factor experiments.The maximum Ni2+removal efficiency[Re(Ni^(2+))]was achieved under the conditions of pH0=7,current density(j)=7 A/m^(2),electrolysis time(t)=25 min,c0(Ni^(2+))=100 mg/L.At pH=7,the proportion of Fe(b)and Fe(c)in the system was 50.4 at.% and 23.1 at.%,respectively.In the SACC process,Fe(b)and Fe(c)are themain iron configurations in solution,while Fe(c)are the vastmajority of the iron configurations in the direct current electrocoagulation(DCC)process.Re(Ni2+)is 99.56% for SACC and 98.75% for DCC under the same optimum conditions,respectively.The precipitates produced by SACC have a high proportion of Fe(b)configurations with sphericalα-FeOOH andγ-FeOOH structures which contain abundant hydroxyl groups.Moreover,it is demonstrated that Fe(b)has better adsorption capacity than Fe(c)through adsorption experiments of methyl orange(MO)dye.Fe(a)configurations in the homogeneous solution had no effect on the removal of nickel.Xiaoliu Lü Tao Xu Yihui Zhou Qingjuan Peng Jinhua Ou Bonian Hu Zhihui Xie Xiping Lei Gang Yu 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,2:0
