| 1 | Properties of Functionalized Graphene/Room Temperature Vulcanized Silicone Rubber Composites Prepared by an In-situ Reduction Method显示文摘Functionalized graphene oxide (FGO) was prepared by treating graphene oxide with γ-aminopropyl triethoxysilane (KH-550) before the mixture was dispersed into α, ω-dihydroxy polydimethylsiloxane to get room temperature vulcanized (RTV) silicone rubber composites by solution casting. The cured composites were then reduced with hydrazine hydrate to obtain functionalized graphene (FG)/RTV silicone rubber composites. The structures of FGO and the resultant composites were characterized by atomic force microscopy, FT-IR spectra and X-ray diffraction. KH-550 was found to be grafted onto graphene sheets, leading to an increased interlayer spacing. Significant improvements in thermal and mechanical properties were obtained. Both the FGO/RTV silicone rubber composite contain 1.0 wt% of FGO, and its reduced product showed an increase of one-step weight loss temperature with 61 ℃ and 133 ℃ higher than that of pure silicone rubber. | 2 | Effect of biodiesel on the particle size distribution in the exhaust of common-rail diesel engine and the mechanism of nanoparticle formation显示文摘Effect of biodiesel blends on the particle size distribution (PSD) of exhaust aerosol and the mechanism of nanoparticle formation were investigated with a modern common rail light-duty diesel engine. The results showed that PSD of diesel included two modes:nucleation mode (NM) and accumulation mode (CM). The criterion diameter of the two modes is 50 nm. Only CM was observed for all fuels under the condition of 50 N.m,2000 r/min. When the engine torque was higher than 150 N.m,log-modal PSD of diesel shifted to bimodal. At higher loads,if the biodiesel blend ratio was below 60%,the PSD of biodiesel blends still included the two modes. However,no NM particles were found for pure biodiesel. At lower loads,only CM was found in PSD of all fuels. Significant reduction of CM particles was found for biodiesel blends compared with diesel. Discussion on the mechanism of nanoparticle formation indicated that for the light-duty diesel engine with oxidation catalysts,fuel consumption and exhaust temperature increased with increasing the engine loads,and SO2 was converted to SO3 by catalyst which,in its hydrated form,could act as the precursor for biodiesel NM formation. | 3 | Identification of genes for drought resistance and prediction of gene candidates in soybean seedlings based on linkage and association mapping显示文摘Drought is one of the primary abiotic stress factors affecting the yield,growth,and development of soybeans.In extreme cases,drought can reduce yield by more than 50%.The seedling stage is an important determinant of soybean growth:the number and vigor of seedlings will affect growth and yield at harvest.Therefore,it is important to study the drought resistance of soybean seedlings.In this study,a recombinant inbred line(RIL)population comprising 234 F_(6:10)lines(derived from Zhonghuang35×Jindou 21)and a panel of 259 soybean accessions was subjected to drought conditions to identify the effects on phenotypic traits under these conditions.Using a genetic map constructed by single nucleotide polymorphism(SNPs)markers,18 quantitative trait loci(QTL)on 7 soybean chromosomes were identified in two environments.This included 9 QTL clusters identified in the RIL population.Fifty-three QTL were identified in 19 soybean chromosomes by genome-wide association analysis(GWAS)in the panel of accessions,including 69 significant SNPs(-log_(10)(P)≥3.97).A combination of the two populations revealed that two SNPs(-log_(10)(P)≥3.0)fell within two of the QTL(qPH7-4 and qPH7-6)confidence intervals.We not only re-located several previously reported drought-resistance genes in soybean and other crops but also identified several non-synonymous stress-related mutation site differences between the two parents,involving Glyma.07 g093000,Glyma.07 g093200,Glyma.07 g094100 and Glyma.07 g094200.One previously unreported new gene related to drought stress,Glyma.07 g094200,was found by regional association analysis.The significant SNP CHR7-17619(G/T)was within an exon of the Glyma.07 g094200 gene.In the RIL population,the DSP value of the'T'allele of CHR7-17619 was significantly(P<0.05)larger than the'G'allele in different environments.The results of our study lay the groundwork for cloning and molecular marker-assisted selection of droughtresistance genes in soybeans at the seedling stage. | Yanjun Zhang Zhangxiong Liu Xingrong Wang Yue Li Yongsheng Li Zuowang Gou Xingzhen Zhao Huilong Hong Honglei Ren Xusheng Qi Lijuan Qiu | 2022 | The Crop Journal2022,10,3: | 3 |
| 4 | Comparative population genomics dissects the genetic basis of seven domestication traits in jujube显示文摘Jujube(Ziziphus jujuba Mill.)is an important perennial fruit tree with a range of interesting horticultural traits.It was domesticated from wild jujube(Ziziphus acidojujuba),but the genomic variation dynamics and genetic changes underlying its horticultural traits during domestication are poorly understood.Here,we report a comprehensive genome variation map based on the resequencing of 350 accessions,including wild,semi-wild and cultivated jujube plants,at a>15×depth.Using the combination of a genome-wide association study(GWAS)and selective sweep analysis,we identified several candidate genes potentially involved in regulating seven domestication traits in jujube.For fruit shape and kernel shape,we integrated the GWAS approach with transcriptome profiling data,expression analysis and the transgenic validation of a candidate gene to identify a causal gene,ZjFS3,which encodes an ethyleneresponsive transcription factor.Similarly,we identified a candidate gene for bearing-shoot length and the number of leaves per bearing shoot and two candidate genes for the seed-setting rate using GWAS.In the selective sweep analysis,we also discovered several putative genes for the presence of prickles on bearing shoots and the postharvest shelf life of fleshy fruits.This study outlines the genetic basis of jujube domestication and evolution and provides a rich genomic resource for mining other horticulturally important genes in jujube. | Mingxin Guo Zhongren Zhang Yanwei Cheng Sunan Li Peiyin Shao Qiang Yu Junjie Wang Gan Xu Xiaotian Zhang Jiajia Liu Linlin Hou Hanxiao Liu Xusheng Zhao | 2020 | Horticulture Research2020,7,1: | 2 |
| 5 | Lanthanide doped fluorosilicate glass-ceramics:A review on experimental and theoretical progresses显示文摘Significant developments have been made in the past few decades for lanthanide(Ln)ions doped fluorosilicate glass-ceramics(Flusi-GCs).As novel generation of luminescence materials with a wide range of applications,Flusi-GCs as a single host combine the advantages of glass and ceramics/crystals as well as fluorides and silicates.In this review,the chemical design principles and experimental procedures of Flusi-GCs are summarized in detail.Flusi-GCs are categorized as those containing PbxCd_(1-x)F_(2),RF_(3)(R=Y,La,Gd),MF_(2)(M=Ca,Sr,Ba),xMF_(2)-yRF_(3)(R=Y,La-Lu),mAF-nRF_(3)(A=Li,Na,K),KTF_(3)(T=Zn,Mn)and K2 SiF6 nanocrystals(NCs).Theoretical breakthroughs mainly by molecular dynamic(MD)simulation have been recapitulated as efficient routes for composition-design,nano-crystallization-prediction,and performance-optimization of Flusi-GCs containing target fluoride NCs.Essential research progresses pertaining photonic applications have been made in random lasers,communication amplifiers,optical fibers,spectral converters,white light-emitting-diodes(WLEDs),and thermal sensors.In the end,we propose three future research directions for Flusi-GCs. | Pengcheng Li Xiuxia Xu Junjie Zhao Pragati Awasthi Xusheng Qiao Jincheng Du Xianping Fan Guodong Qian | 2022 | Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,2: | 2 |

| 14 | Microstructure and tribological behavior of the nickel-coated-graphitereinforced Babbitt metal composite fabricated via selective laser melting显示文摘To improve the properties of Babbitt alloys,Ni-coated-graphite-reinforced Babbitt metal composite specimens were prepared via selective laser melting(SLM),and the composites microstructures,mechanical properties,and tribological properties were studied through scanning electron microscopy(SEM),shear testing,and dry-sliding wear testing,respectively.The results showed that most of the nickel-coated graphite(NCGr)particles were distributed at the boundaries of laser beads in the cross section of the SLM composite specimens.Microcracks and microvoids formed at the boundaries of laser beads where NCGr particles accumulated.Both the shear strength and the friction coefficient of the SLM composite specimens decreased with increasing NCGr content.The shear strength and the friction coefficient of the SLM composite sample with 6 wt%NCGr were approximately 20%and 33%lower than those of the NCGr-free sample,respectively.The friction mechanism changed from plastic shaping furrow to brittle cutting with increasing NCGr content.A practical Babbitt material with a lower friction coefficient and sufficient strength can be obtained by controlling the NCGr particle dispersion;this can be achieved by choosing NCGr particles with a thicker Ni layer and precisely controlling the laser energy input during the SLM process. | Xingke Zhao Xusheng Hai | 2022 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2022,29,2: | 1 |
| 15 | POLY(N-ISOPROPYL ACRYLAMIDE) MICROGEL DOPED WITH LUMINESCENT PBS QUANTUM DOTS显示文摘Thiol-stabilized PbS quantum dots (QDs) with dimensions 3-5 nm capped with a mixture of 1-thioglycerol/dithioglycerol (TGL/DTG) were colloidally prepared at room temperature. Room temperature photoluminescence quantum efficiency of freshly prepared PbS QDs (7%-11%) remained higher than 5% upon aging for three weeks when the nanocrystals (NCs) were stored in an ice-bath in the dark, and higher than 5% for at least five weeks when extra DTG ligands were introduced into the nanocrystal solution followed by stirring every two weeks. Poly(N-isopropyl acrylamide) (PNIPAM) microgels were produced via precipitation polymerization with dimensions of ca. 230 nm and polydispersity of 3-5%. Incorporation of PbS QDs into PNIPAM microgels indicated that PbS can be incorporated into the interior of microgel particles and not at the microgel interface. | 16 | The mitochondria-localized protein OsNDB2 negatively regulates grain size and weight in rice显示文摘Grain size is a determinant of rice grain yield.In plants,mitochondria supply energy for cellular metabolism via the mitochondrial electron transport chain.Here we report that OsNDB2,which encodes a putative rotenone-insensitive typeⅡNAD(P)H dehydrogenase(ND),negatively regulates grain size and weight in rice.Six ND members representing three major types of rice were identified,and the predicted OsNDB2 protein was localized to mitochondria.Contents of OsNDB2 transcripts were higher in young panicles and leaf blades.OsNDB2 overexpression reduced grain length,grain width,and 1000-grain weight and moderately influenced plant height,while knockout of OsNDB2 increased grain size and 1000-grain weight.Allelic mutations of OsNDB2 were associated with diverse grain appearances.Cellular observations revealed that variations in grain size of transgenic lines were caused by change in cell expansion but not cell proliferation in spikelet hulls.Our study sheds light on OsNDB2 function and provides a new potential breeding approach for increasing rice grain size and weight. | Mingxin Guo Jiajia Liu Linlin Hou Suna Zhao Nana Zhang Lili Lu Xusheng Zhao | 2022 | The Crop Journal2022,10,6: | 0 |

| 18 | Late Jurassic adakitic ore-bearing granodiorite porphyry intrusions in the Xiaokele porphyry Cu(–Mo)deposit,Northeast China:implications for petrogenesis and tectonic setting显示文摘The Xiaokele Cu(–Mo)deposit is a recently discovered porphyry deposit in the northern Great Xing’an Range(GXR)of northeast China.The ore bodies in this deposit are mainly hosted within granodiorite porphyry intrusions.Potassic,phyllic,and propylitic alteration zones develop from center to edge.In this paper,we present zircon LA–ICP–MS U–Pb ages,zircon Hf isotopic compositions,and whole-rock geochemistry of the ore-bearing granodiorite porphyries from the Xiaokele Cu(–Mo)deposit.Zircon U–Pb dating suggests that the Xiaokele granodiorite porphyries were emplaced at 148.8±1.1 Ma(weighted-mean age;n=14).The Xiaokele granodiorite porphyries display high SiO2,Al2O3,Sr,and Sr/Y,low K2O/Na2O,MgO,Yb,and Y,belonging to high-SiO2 adakites produced by partial melting of the subducted oceanic slab.Marine sediments were involved in the magma source of the Xiaokele granodiorite porphyries,as indicated by enriched Sr–Nd isotopic compositions(eNd(-t)=-1.17–-0.27),low positive zircon eHf(t)values(0.4–2.2),and high Th contents(4.06–5.20).The adakitic magma subsequently interacted with the mantle peridotites during ascent through the mantle wedge.The Xiaokele granodiorite porphyries were derived from slab melting during the southward subduction of the Mongol–Okhotsk Ocean. | Yonggang Sun Bile Li Zhonghai Zhao Qingfeng Ding Fanbo Meng Xusheng Chen Ye Qian Yujin Li | 2021 | Acta Geochimica2021,40,5: | 0 |

| 20 | Insight understanding into influence of binding mode of carboxylate with metal ion on ligand-centered luminescence properties in Pb-based coordination polymers显示文摘In the crystal engineering area,it is important to clearly demonstrating the relationship of structure and certain functionality.Herein,we present the study of the relationship of structure with phosphorescent nature for two new room temperature phosphorescence(RTP) coordination polymers(CPs).[Pb(FDA)(H_(2)O)](1) and [NH_(3)(CH_(3))NH_(2)(CH_(3))_(2)][Pb_(4)(FDA)_(5)](2),where H_(2) FDA is 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid,have been synthesized by solvothermal method using different solvents and Pb^(2+) sources and characterized by microanalysis,powderX-ray diffraction(PXRD),thermogravimetric(TG),IR and UV-vis spectra.The Pb^(2+)ions adopt bicapped triangle prism coordination sphere in 1 and 2,which are connected together via FDA^(2-) ligands into bilayer structure in 1 while pillared-layer framework in 2.The FDA^(2-) ligands show different bridging modes in 1 and 2,leading to distinct coordination interactions between Pb^(2+) ion and FDA^(2-) ligand in both CPs.Both 1 and 2 emit ligand-centered RTP due to the heavy atom of Pb^(2+) ion,with a lifetime and quantum yield of 0.62 ms and 14.9% in 1 versus 1.69 ms and 15.7% in 2.The emission peak shows significant redshift(79 nm) in 2 regarding 1,which arises from their distinction of coordination interactions between Pb^(2+) ion and FDA^(2-) ligand in both CPs. | Xusheng Gao Liduo Zhao Meijuan Ding Xiaozu Wang Lu Zhai Xiaoming Ren | 2021 | Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,8: | 0 |
