| 4 | Occurrence, Prevention and Control of Cryphalus eriobotryae, a New Devastating Pest of Loquat显示文摘A devastating trunk beetle has been found in Baisha loquat in Dongshan Town, Wuzhong District, Suzhou City in recent years. It is iden-tified as a new insect species, Cryphalus eriobotryae, belonging to Scolytinae, Curculionidae, Coleoptera. So far, loquat is known as the unique host of C. eriobotryae, and trees of 20-30 years old or 3-4 years old are all attacked by the insect. Holes drilled by adults with the diameter of about0.8 mm and sores(ate by adults) with the diameter of 1 mm are found on bark and trunk of damaged trees. Three-dimensional channels in 3-4 layers are formed in cortex, which are filled with insect dung. The phloem turns black-brown in late stage, and loses transport function, resulting in plant death and a great impact on loquat production and industrial development. During the occurrence period of C. eriobotryae from April to November,the damaged trunks and branches should be sprayed with 48% chlorpyrifos EC or 5% imidacloprid EC 100 times dilution once every 10 d for con-tinuous 2-3 times, and various states of the insect could be killed. | 7 | Post-synthetic metalation of organic cage for enhanced porosity and catalytic performance显示文摘Porous organic cages(POCs)have shown great potential in many applications,and post-synthetic modification(PSM)has been confirmed to be an effective strategy to tailor their structures and related functionalities.However,it is extremely challenging to develop a general platform for simple-to-make functional POCs for advanced applications by PSM method.Herein,we reported that octahedral calix[4]resorcinarene-based hydrazone-linked porous organic cage(HPOC-401)provides an excellent platform for post-synthetic metalation by various transition metal(TM)ions under mild conditions due to the abundance of coordination sites in its skeleton.Such metalated products(HPOC-401-TM)exhibit Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET)surface area up to1,456 m^(2)g^(-1),much higher than that of the pristine HPOC-401,which has a BET value of 474 m^(2)g^(-1).Moreover,the metalation and porosity increases further influence their gas capture,separation,as well as catalytic performance.For instance,HPOC-401-TM products exhibit higher CO_(2),H_(2),and C2 hydrocarbon gas uptake,as well as higher C_(2)H_(6)/C_(2)H_(4) selectivity than HPOC-401.Moreover,the HPOC-401-TM also shows better catalytic performance in the cycloaddition of CO_(2) with epoxides compared to HPOC-401.These findings uncover a simple yet effective approach for modifying the porosity characteristics of organic cages,which will undoubtedly expand their future implementations. | Miao Yang Xun Chen Yifei Xie El-Sayed MEl-Sayed Ning Xu Wenjing Wang Kongzhao Su Daqiang Yuan | 2023 | Science China Chemistry2023,66,6: | 1 |

| 9 | Pd nanoparticles embedded in N-Enriched MOF-Derived architectures for efficient oxygen reduction reaction in alkaline media显示文摘Developing high efficient Pd-based electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR) is still challenging for alkaline membrane fuel cell,since the strong oxygen adsorption energy and easy agglomerative intrinsic properties. In order to simultaneously solve these problems, Pd/Co_(3)O_(4)–N–C multidimensional materials with porous structures is designed as the ORR catalysts. In details, the ZIF-67 with polyhedral structure was firstly synthesized and then annealed at high-temperature to prepare the N-doped Co_(3)O_(4)carbon-based material, which was used to homogeneously confine Pd nanoparticles and obtained the Pd/Co_(3)O_(4)–N–C series catalysts. The formation of Co–N and C–N bond could provide efficient active sites for ORR. Simultaneously, the strong electronic interaction in the interface between the Pd and N-doped Co_(3)O_(4)could disperse and avoid the agglomeration of Pd nanoparticles and ensure the exposure of active sites, which is crucial to lower the energy barrier toward ORR and substantially enhance the ORR kinetics. Hence, the Pd/Co_(3)O_(4)–N–C nanocompounds exhibited excellent ORR catalytic performance, ideal Pd mass activity, and durability in 0.1 mol L-1KOH solution compared with Co_(3)O_(4)–N–C and Pd/C. | 10 | Dimeric Calix[4]resorcinarene-based Porous Organic Cages for CO_(2)/CH_(4) Separation显示文摘Investigating gas separation by emerging porous organic cage(POC) solids is still on its initial stage. In this work, two novel [2+4] organic cages with distinguished structures have been prepared based on the Schiff-based condensation reaction between tetraformyl-functionalized calix[4]resorcinarene building blocks and xylylenediamine(XDA) isomers. Specifically, the use of para-position XDA affords lantern-shaped cage(CPOC-105) with a medium cavity of ca. 0.526 nm^(3), while the meta-position produces peanut-shaped structure(CPOC-106) with two small cavities of ca. 0.181 nm^(3). | 11 | Is it universal that the layered-spinel structure can improve electrochemical performance?显示文摘The introduction of spinel phase to form the layered-spinel structure(LSS)is an effective way to improve the electrochemical performance of Li-and Mn-rich layered oxides(LMR).But is this structure universal for all LMR systems?In this work,different Mn/Ni ratio systems with the LSS are discussed in detail.It is found that,high discharge capacity(200.8 mA h g^(-1) at 1C rate;1C=250 mA h g^(-1))as well as high capacity-retention(94%at 1C rate after 100 cycles)can be achieved by forming the LSS for low-Ni system(Mn/Ni=5.0).However,the capacity retention decreases severely in the high-Ni system(Mn/Ni=3.5,2.6).For example,when the ratio of Mn/Ni is 3.5,the capacity-retention of the layered-spinel sample was only 65.8%,compared to the 83%of the original LMR sample.The Ex-situ XRD,XPS,and HRTEM results demonstrate that the introduction of spinel phase in high-Ni system accelerates the transition and collapse of the crystal structure.This work provides guidance for optimizing the proportions of elements and the design of structures for the LMR. | Daqiang Wang Zhenguo Wu Wei Xiang Yuxia Liu Gongke Wang Kanghui Hu Qi Xu Yang Song Xiaodong Guo | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,1: | 0 |
| 12 | Microbial diversity in lake sediments detected by PCR-DGGE显示文摘In this study,PCR-denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis(DGGE)was applied to analyze the microbial communities in lake sediments from Lake Xuanwu,Lake Mochou in Nanjing and Lake Taihu in Wuxi.Sediment samples from seven locations in three lakes were collected and their genomic DNAs were extracted.The DNA yields of the sediments of Lake Xuanwu and Lake Mochou were high(10 mg/g),while that of sediments in Lake Taihu was relatively low.After DNA purification,the 16S rDNA genes(V3 to V5 region)were amplified and the amplified DNA fragments were separated by parallel DGGE.The DGGE profiles showed that there were five common bands in all the lake sediment samples indicating that there were similarities among the populations of microorganisms in all the lake sediments.The DGGE profiles of Lake Xuanwu and Lake Mochou were similar and about 20 types of micro-organisms were identified in the sediment samples of both lakes.These results suggest that the sediment samples of these two city lakes(Xuanwu,Mochou)have similar microbial communities.However,the DGGE profiles of sediment samples in Lake Taihu were significantly different from these two lakes.Furthermore,the DGGE profiles of sediment samples in different locations in Lake Taihu were also different,suggesting that the microbial communities in Lake Taihu are more diversified than those in Lake Xuanwu and Lake Mochou.The differences in microbial diversity may be caused by the different environmental conditions,such as redox potential,pH,and the concentrations of organic matters.Seven major bands of 16S rDNA genes fragments from the DGGE profiles of sediment samples were further reamplified and sequenced.The results of sequencing analysis indicate that five sequences shared 99%-100%homology with known sequences(Bacillus and Brevibacillus,uncultured bacteria),while the other two sequences shared 93%-96%homology with known sequences(Acinetobacter,and Bacillus).The study shows that the PCR-DGGE technique combined with sequence analysis is a feasible and efficient method for the determination of microbial communities in sediment samples. | Xinqing ZHAO Liuyan YANG Can CHEN Lin XIAO Lijuan JIANG Zhe MA Haowei ZHU Zhenyang YU Daqiang YIN | 2008 | Frontiers in Biology2008,3,3: | 0 |

| 14 | Abivertinib inhibits megakaryocyte differentiation and platelet biogenesis显示文摘Abivertinib,a third-generation tyrosine kinase inhibitor,is originally designed to target epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)-activating mutations.Previous studies have shown that abivertinib has promising antitumor activity and a well-tolerated safety profile in patients with non-small-cell lung cancer.However,abivertinib also exhibited high inhibitory activity against Bruton’s tyrosine kinase and Janus kinase 3.Given that these kinases play some roles in the progression of megakaryopoiesis,we speculate that abivertinib can affect megakaryocyte(MK)differentiation and platelet biogenesis.We treated cord blood CD34+hematopoietic stem cells,Meg-01 cells,and C57BL/6 mice with abivertinib and observed megakaryopoiesis to determine the biological effect of abivertinib on MK differentiation and platelet biogenesis.Our in vitro results showed that abivertinib impaired the CFU-MK formation,proliferation of CD34+HSC-derived MK progenitor cells,and differentiation and functions of MKs and inhibited Meg-01-derived MK differentiation.These results suggested that megakaryopoiesis was inhibited by abivertinib.We also demonstrated in vivo that abivertinib decreased the number of MKs in bone marrow and platelet counts in mice,which suggested that thrombopoiesis was also inhibited.Thus,these preclinical data collectively suggested that abivertinib could inhibit MK differentiation and platelet biogenesis and might be an agent for thrombocythemia. | Jiansong Huang Xin Huang Yang Li Xia Li Jinghan Wang Fenglin Li Xiao Yan Huanping Wang Yungui Wang Xiangjie Lin Jifang Tu Daqiang He Wenle Ye Min Yang Jie Jin | 2022 | Frontiers of Medicine2022,16,3: | 0 |
