1Disease profile and plasma neutralizing activity of postvaccination Omicron BA.1 infection in Tianjin,China:a retrospective study显示文摘Dear Editor,SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant BA.1 first emerged on the Chinese mainland on January 8,2022,in Tianjin and caused a large wave of infections.1 Four rounds of mass testing of its~14 million residents were launched on January 9,12,15,and 20,respectively.As of February 7,2022,a total of 430 individuals were tested positive for Omicron BA.1,with no new infections detected for the following 16 days.In the Chinese mainland,the most delivered vaccines are inactivated vaccines.As of January 8,2022,up to 93.2%of Tianjin’s residents had been vaccinated with at least one dose.2 We investigated the protection conferred by vaccination against Omicron BA.1 by examining the breakthrough infections among vaccinees as compared with unvaccinated cases.Our study population comprised all 430 cases during the outbreak of Omicron BA.1 in Tianjin.Hong Zheng Yunlong Cao Xiaosu Chen Fengmei Wang Ye Hu Weiliang Song Yangyang Chai Qingqing Gu Yansong Shi Yingmei Feng Shuxun Liu Yan Xie Xiaoliang Sunney Xie Wentao Jiang Zhongyang Shen 2022Cell Research2022,32,8:12
2Architecture design for reliable and reconfigurable FPGA-based GNC computer for deep space exploration显示文摘SRAM(static random access memory)-based FPGA(field programmable gate array), owing to its large capacity, high performance, and dynamical reconfiguration, has become an attractive platform for So PC(system on programmable chip) development. However, as the configuration memory and logic memory of the SRAM-based FPGA are highly susceptible to SEUs(single-event upsets) in deep space, it is a challenge to design and implement a highly reliable FPGA-based system for spacecraft, and no practical architecture has been proposed. In this paper, a new architecture for a reliable and reconfigurable FPGAbased computer in a highly critical GNC(guidance navigation and control) system is proposed. To mitigate the effect of an SEU on the system, multi-layer reconfiguration and multi-layer TMR(triple module redundancy) techniques are proposed, with a reliable reconfigurable real-time operating system(Space OS) managing the system level fault tolerance of the computer in the architecture. The proposed architecture for the reconfigurable FPGA-based computer has been implemented with COTS(commercial off the shelf) FPGA and has firstly been applied to the GNC system of a circumlunar return and reentry flight vehicle. 5Nitrogen doping and graphitization tuning coupled hard carbon for superior potassium-ion storage显示文摘Hard carbon material is one of the most promising anode materials for potassium ion batteries(PIBs)due to its distinct disordered and non-expandable framework.However,the intrinsically disordered microarchitecture of hard carbon results in low electric conductivity and poor rate capability.Herein,nitrogendoped and partially graphitized hard carbons(NGHCs)derived from commercial coordination compound precursor-ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid(EDTA)disodium cobalt salt hydrate are designed and prepared as high-performance PIBs anode materials.By means of a facile annealing method,nitrogen elements and graphitic domains can be controllably introduced to NGHCs.The resulting NGHCs show structural merits of mesoporous construction,nitrogen doping and homogeneous graphitic domains,which ensures fast kinetics and electron transportation.Applying in anode for PIBs,NGHCs exhibit robust rate capability with high reversible capacity of 298.8 m Ah g^-1 at 50 m A g^-1,and stable cycle stability of 137.6 mAh g^-1 at 500 m A g^-1 after 1000 cycles.Moreover,the ex situ Raman spectra reveal a mixture'adsorption-intercalation mechanism'for potassium storage of NGHCs.More importantly,full PIBs by pairing with perylenetetracarboxylic dianhydride(PTCDA)cathode demonstrate the promising potential of practical application.In terms of commercial precursor,facile synthesis and long cycle lifespan,NGHCs represent a brilliant prospect for practical large-scale applications.Junxian Hu Yangyang Xie Meng Yin Zhian Zhang 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,10:8
6Low carbon storage of woody debris in a karst forest in southwestern China显示文摘The properties of woody debris(WD) vary across different forests under various soil conditions.Owing to the relatively shallow and low amounts of soils on karst terrains, it is necessary to determine the WD carbon inventory of karst forests. In this study, we recorded WD with a basal diameter for standing snags and the largeend diameter for fallen logs of ≥ 1 cm. The carbon density of WD in a secondary karst mixed evergreen and deciduous broad-leaved forest that had been clear-cut 55 years ago in southwestern China were inventoried in a 2 ha plot. Woody debris carbon density calculated using specific gravity and carbon concentration was 4.07 Mg C ha^-1. Woody debris with diameters ≥ 10 cm(coarse WD) constituted 53.8% of total carbon storage whereas WD < 10 cm in diameters(fine WD) accounted for more pieces of WD(89.9%).Lithocarpus confinis contributed the most WD carbon(26.5%). Intermediate decayed WD was relatively more abundant, but WD with final decay contributed the least to the total pieces of WD(6.7%). The contribution of WD to carbon storage of karst forest was low compared to other forests worldwide. Significant positive correlations were found between WD carbon and biodiversity(R^2= 0.035,p < 0.01) and elevation(R^2= 0.047, p < 0.01) and negative correlations was found in outcrop coverage(R^2= 0.034, p <0.01). 7Enhancing sensitivity of microbial fuel cell sensors for low concentration biodegradable organic matter detection:Regulation of substrate concentration,anode area and external resistance显示文摘The relatively low sensitivity is an important reason for restricting the microbial fuel cell(MFC)sensors'application in low concentration biodegradable organic matter(BOM)detection.The startup parameters,including substrate concentration,anode area and external resistance,were regulated to enhance the sensitivity of MFC sensors.The results demonstrated that both the substrate concentration and anode area were positively correlated with the sensitivity of MFC sensors,and an external resistance of 210Ωwas found to be optimal in terms of sensitivity of MFC sensors.Optimized MFC sensors had lower detection limit(1 mg/L)and higher sensitivity(Slope value of the linear regression curve was 1.02),which effectively overcome the limitation of low concentration BOM detection.The essential reason is that optimized MFC sensors had higher coulombic efficiency,which was beneficial to improve the sensitivity of MFC sensors.The main impact of the substrate concentration and anode area was to regulate the proportion between electrogens and nonelectrogens,biomass and living cells of the anode biofilm.The external resistance mainly affected the morphology structure and the proportion of living cells of the anode.This study demonstrated an effective way to improve the sensitivity of MFC sensors for low concentration BOM detection.Yangyang Gao Sha Wang Fengjun Yin Pin Hu Xingzu Wang Yuan Liu Hong Liu 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,3:2
8Boron carbide boosted Fenton-like oxidation: A novel Fe(Ⅲ)/Fe(Ⅱ) circulation显示文摘The sluggish kinetics of Fe(Ⅱ)recovery in Fenton/Fenton-like reactions significantly limits the oxidation efficiency.In this study,we for the first time use boron carbide(BC)as a green and stable promotor to enhance the reaction of Fe(Ⅲ)/H_(2)O_(2) for degradation of diverse organic pollutants.Electron paramagnetic resonance analysis and chemical quenching/capturing experiments demonstrate that hydroxyl radicals(·OH)are the primary reactive species in the BC/Fe(Ⅲ)/H_(2)O_(2) system.In situ electrochemical analysis indicates that BC remarkably boosts the Fe(Ⅲ)/Fe(Ⅱ)redox cycles,where the adsorbed Fe(Ⅲ)cations were transformed to more active Fe(Ⅲ)species with a higher oxidative potential to react with H_(2)O_(2) to produce Fe(Ⅱ).Thus,the recovery of Fe(Ⅱ)from Fe(Ⅲ)is facilitated over BC surface,which enhancesOH generation via Fenton reactions.Moreover,BC exhibits outstanding reusability and stability in successive cycles and avoids the secondary pollution caused by conventional organic and metalliferous promotors.Therefore,metal-free BC boosting Fe(Ⅲ)/H_(2)O_(2) oxidation of organics provides a green and advanced strategy for water decontamination.Peng Zhou Feng Cheng Gang Nie Yangyang Yang Kunsheng Hu Xiaoguang Duan Yongli Zhang Shaobin Wang 2020Green Energy & Environment2020,5,4:2
9A 0.19 ppm/°C bandgap reference circuit with high-PSRR显示文摘A high-order curvature-compensated CMOS bandgap reference(BGR) topology with a low temperature coefficient(TC) over a wide temperature range and a high power supply reject ratio(PSRR) is presented.High-order correction is realized by incorporating a nonlinear current INL, which is generated by ?V_(GS) across resistor into current generated by a conventional first-order current-mode BGR circuit. In order to achieve a high PSRR over a broad frequency range, a voltage pre-regulating technique is applied. The circuit was implemented in CSMC 0.5 μm 600 V BCD process. The experimental results indicate that the proposed topology achieves TC of0.19 ppm/°C over the temperature range of 165 °C(-40 to 125 °C), PSRR of-123 d B @ DC and-56 d B @ 100 k Hz. 10Plasmonic coupling-enhanced in situ photothermal nanoreactor with shape selective catalysis for C–C coupling reaction显示文摘Carbon-carbon(C–C)coupling reactions represent one of the most powerful tools for the synthesis of complex natural products,bioactive molecules developed as drugs and agrochemicals.In this work,a multifunctional nanoreactor for C–C coupling reaction was successfully fabricated via encapsulating the core-shell Cu@Ni nanocubes into ZIF-8(Cu@Ni@ZIF-8).In this nanoreactor,Ni shell of the core-shell Cu@Ni nanocubes was the catalytical active center,and Cu core was in situ heating source for the catalyst by absorbing the visible light.Moreover,benefiting from the plasmonic resonance effect between Cu@Ni nanocubes encapsulated in ZIF-8,the absorption range of nanoreactor was widened and the utilization rate of visible light was enhanced.Most importantly,the microporous structure of ZIF-8 provided shape-selective of reactant.This composite was used for the highly shape-selective and stable photocatalysed C–C coupling reaction of boric acid under visible light irradiation.After five cycles,the nanoreactor still remained high catalytical activity.This Cu@Ni@ZIF-8 nanoreactor opens a way for photocatalytic C–C coupling reactions with shape-selectivity.Zhenxing Li Yixuan Gong Xin Zhang Yangyang Wen Jiasai Yao Mingliang Hu Miao He Jiahao Liu Rui Li Fuqiang Wang Chuanxin Zhang 2020Nano Research2020,13,10:2

15Analysis on nasal airway by using scale-adaptive simulation combined with standard κ-ω model and 3D printing modeling physical experiment显示文摘The physiological structure of the upper respiratory tract is complex and varies with each individual,and the circulating air has turbulent performance.In this paper,based on computed tomography(CT)medical images published online and the three-dimensional(3D)printing technology,a 3D model of the human upper respiratory tract was reconstructed and an experimental device of the upper respiratory tract was made.We implemented the respiratory experiment and measured the flow rate,and a scale-adaptive κ-ω model is applied for numerical simulation,the results are in good agreement.The flow field during respiratory was analyzed by coronal velocity cross section,vortex line and particle tracks.We found that the relatively strong shear effect happens at the areas of nasal valve and nasopharynx.In the middle and upper nasal tract,vortex line separation occurs and there is significant passage effect.The results indicate that SAS method is effective in studying upper respiratory airflow.Jiemin Zhan Yangyang Xi Kay Lin Weiguang Yu Wenqing Hu 2019Theoretical & Applied Mechanics Letters2019,9,4:1
16Efficient Extractive Desulfurization of Fuel Oils Using N-Pyrrolidone/Alkylphosphate-Based Ionic Liquids显示文摘Four BrØsted acid ionic liquids(ILS)[MMP][DMP],[MEP][DEP],[HMP][DMP]and[HEP][DEP]were syn-thesized and used as extractants for desulfurization of aromatic sulfur compounds in model oil.The mutual solubil-ity of four ILs were investigated.The extraction equilibrium of four ILs could be reached in as soon as 5 min and the extraction capability followed the order[MMP][DMP]>[MEP][DEP]>[HEP][DEP]>[HMP][DMP].The S extraction showed the highest efficiency under the conditions of 30℃,30 min and 1∶1(V/V)IL∶oil.Under the optimal condition,70.9%of thiophene(TS),76.9%of benzothiophene(BT)and 87.5%of dibenzothiophene(DBT)in n-octane could be efficiently removed by[MMP][DMP].The multiple extraction and regeneration performance of[MMP][DMP]for TS was also investigated and the results were satisfying.These results suggest that[MMP][DMP]has the best extraction capability and can serve as a promising solvent for extractive desulfurization of fuel oils.Chunhai Liu Qihui He Zheng Zhang Yangyang Su Renfu Xu Baixing Hu 2014Chinese Journal of Chemistry2014,32,5:1

19Polymer electrolytes reinforced by 2D fluorinated filler for all-solidstate Li-Fe-F conversion-type lithium metal batteries显示文摘The polyethylene oxide(PEO)based solid-state batteries are considered as promising candidates for the next-generation Li metal batteries with high energy density and safety.However,the low Li-ion conductivity and high-voltage endurability hinder the further applications of PEO-based electrolytes.To overcome these issues,herein two-dimensional(2D)CeF_(3)nanoplates with maximally exposed[001]crystal faces are introduced into the PEO matrix to expand the electrochemical window and improve Liion conduction and transport.The optimized crystal shape and crystal face anisotropy of CeF_(3)nanoplate filler reduce the crystallinity of composite solid polymer electrolyte(CSPE)via its Lewis acid-base interaction with ether oxygen of PEO.The Liaffinity[100]and Li-repellent[001]crystal faces of CeF_(3)nanoplates synergistically realize the dissociation of lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide(LiTFSI),fast Li-adsorption/desorption,and Li+migration.The optimized CSPE-0.1CeF_(3)membrane enables the achievement of Li metal batteries with high endurability and stability,from the kinetically favorable Li/Li symmetric cells with long-term cycling over 8000 h.The highly reversible Li/LiFePO_(4) cells exhibit a capacity retention of 109.2 mAh·g^(−1)after 1000 cycles at 1 C,corresponding to a low capacity fading rate of 0.026%per cycle.The conversion-type allsolid-state Li/CSPE-0.1CeF_(3)/FeF_(3)cells show a high reversible capacity of 201.9 mAh·g^(−1)after long-term 600 cycles and of 231.1 mAh·g^(−1)at an ultra-high rate of 5 C.Meng Lei Xiaoxue Wu Yangyang Liu Keyi Chen Jiulin Hu Chilin Li 2023Nano Research2023,16,6:1
