A review of third generation SiC fibers and SiC_f/SiC composites显示文摘Compared with the first and second generations SiC fibers, the third generation SiC fibers have obvious improvement in heat-resistance, oxidation-resistance and creep-resistance, which promote the development of SiCf/SiC composite materials. Therefore, the third generation SiC fibers have more advantages and broader prospects in engineering applications. In this paper, the fabrication and properties of the third generation SiC fibers are compared and discussed. The preparation processes of the third generation SiC fibers reinforced SiC matrix composites and their application in aeroengine and nuclear energy fields are summarized, while their future development is prospected as well. | Pengren Wang Fengqi Liu Hao Wang Hao Li Yanzi Gou | 2019 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,12: | 24
A New Kinetic Model for Residue Hydrotreating Based on Chemical Reaction Sections显示文摘New definition of virtual molecular-group components about CH and CH2 is proposed in the paper. The new reaction, hydrogenation of CH to CH2(HDCH),can be used to represent the change of C and H in RHT.By using the lumping approach, the kinetic models about HDCH,HDS,HDN,HDCCR,HDM,HDNi and HDV reactions were established. They are key components of the new kinetic model for RHT based on reaction sections.During the construction of kinetic model,goodness-to-fit(R^2)between test data and model data was set as the target value, and the model parameters were calculated accurately. In verification test, the predicted content of H,S,N,CCR,M,Ni and V can match well with the test data. | Zhang Kui Dai Lishun Nie Hong Shao Zhicai Liu Tao Deng Zhonghuo Han Wei Jia Yanzi | 2020 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2020,22,2: | 4
Late Mesozoic rifting and its deep dynamic mechanisms in the central Sulu orogenic belt: Records from Lingshan Island显示文摘The Lingshan Island scientific drill confirms that two episodes(Laiyang period and Qingshan period) of rifting developed in the central Sulu orogenic belt(SOB) in Late Mesozoic. With a set of methods including fieldwork, drilling, core logging, zircon U-Pb dating and whole rock geochemistry applied, the age, the depositional sequence and the deep dynamic mechanisms of rift evolution were unraveled. The stratigraphic sequence of the Laiyang-Qingshan Groups on Lingshan Island was composed of two different rifting sequences:(1) Laiyang Group(147–125 Ma), which consists of deep-water gravity flow deposits with interlayers of intermediate volcanic rocks;and(2) Lower Qingshan Group(125–119 Ma), which unconformably overlies the former sequence and contains subaerial volcanic deposits and terrestrial deposits. The tectonic environment changed during the evolution of these two episodes of rifting: the rift was in a NNW-SSE extensional environment in the Laiyang period and showed the typical passive rifting character that “lithospheric extension and rifting preceded volcanism”. The passive rifting period was ended by a short WNW-ESE compression at about 125 Ma. After that, the tectonic environment transferred to a strong NW-SE extensional environment and the rifting evolved into a volcanic arc basin in the Qingshan period. The igneous rocks are shoshonitic to high-K calc-alkaline trachyandesites to trachytes with a few intercalated lamprophyres and a rhyolite. The geochemical characteristics of the igneous rocks indicate that they are mantle-derived melts with a metasomatized mantle source and/or crustal contamination. In addition, an increased thinning of the lithosphere happened during the rifting episodes. The low-angle subduction of the Paleo-Pacific plate in the Jurassic weakened the thickened SOB lithospheric mantle. The rollback of the subducting plate started in late Jurassic to early Cretaceous, and the SOB lithospheric mantle was delaminated synchronously because of the gravity collapse. Thus, this caused passive rifting in the Laiyang period. Thereafter, the rollback and trench retreat of the high-angle subducting Paleo-Pacific plate would have achieved its climax, resulting in the strong regional extension. Passive rifting was ended by the crustal uplift caused by asthenospheric upwelling beneath the rift. The lower crust was heated by the upwelling asthenosphere and partially melted to form felsic melts, which were emplaced upwards and erupted explosively. The rift evolved into a volcanic arc basin in the Qingshan period and showed some characteristics of active rifting. Above all, a passive rifting in the Laiyang period and a volcanic arc basin in the Qingshan period developed successively in the Lingshan Island area(the central SOB). This records the transfer of the study area from the Paleo-Tethys tectonic domain to the circum-Pacific tectonic domain. The delamination of SOB lithospheric mantle and the upwelling of asthenospheric material were the deep dynamic mechanisms driving the development and evolution of two rift episodes. Additionally, the rift development was controlled remotely by the subduction of the Paleo-Pacific plate. | Tengfei ZHOU Yaoqi ZHOU Nina SФAGER Paul Martin HOLM Zhenkai ZHANG Jun WANG Zhao LIANG Hongyu MU Yanjun CHENG Feifei LIU Miao WANG Yue ZHANG Hui ZHANG Yangjian GU Shihui DONG Hanjie ZHAO Manjie LI Yang CHEN Yanzi LIU | 2022 | Science China Earth Sciences2022,65,9: | 3
CD38 deficiency alleviates Ang II-induced vascular remodeling by inhibiting small extracellular vesicle-mediated vascular smooth muscle cell senescence in mice显示文摘CD38 is the main enzyme for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NAD)degradation in mammalian cells.Decreased NAD levels are closely related to metabolic syndromes and aging-related diseases. Our study showed that CD38 deficiency significantly alleviated angiotensin II(Ang ll)-induced vascular remodeling in mice,as shown by decreased blood pressures;reduced vascular media thickness,media-to-lumen ratio, and collagen deposition;and restored elastin expression. However, our bone marrow transplantation assay showed that CD38 deficiency in lymphocytes led to lack of protection against Ang ll-induced vascular remodeling, suggesting that the effects of CD38 on Ang ll-induced vascular remodeling might rely primarily on vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs),not lymphocytes. In addition,we observed that CD38 deficiency or NAD supplementation remarkably mitigated Ang ll-induced vascular senescence by suppressing the biogenesis, secretion, and internalization of senescence-associated small extracellular vesicles(SA-sEVs),which facilitated the senescence of neighboring non-damaged VSMCs.Furthermore,we found that the protective effects of CD38 deficiency on VSMC senescence were related to restoration of lysosome dysfunction, particularly with respect to the maintenance of sirtuin-mediated mitochondrial homeostasis and activation of the mitochondria-lysosomal axis in VSMCs.In conclusion, our findings demonstrated that CD38 and its associated intracellular NAD decline are critical for Ang ll-induced VSMC senescence and vascular remodeling. | Lu Gan Demin Liu Jing Liu Erya Chen Chan Chen Lian Liu Hang Hu Xiaohui Guan Wen Ma Yanzi Zhang Yarong He Bofu Liu Songling Tang Wei Jiang Jianxin Xue Hongbo Xin | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,7: | 2

On the Identity of Personality and the Concept of Human显示文摘The concept of'human'is essential in bioethics.Generally speaking, the concept of'human'is related to the identity of personality. This paper systematically discusses the concept of'personality identity'and'human'by Locke,Parfit and Kant.In comparison,Locke views self-awareness or reason as the key element of any appropriate concepts of'human'.On the basis of Locke's viewpoint,Parfit makes explanation of the identity of personality, and points out that personality identity should be connected with physical and psychological continuity. This view has been a progress but still has a utility thought. Therefore, the understanding of the concept of'human'is not entirely out of its species, and should be deeply based on our own as the main body of the concept. | Lu Dongshuang Liu Yanzi | 2015 | 学术界2015,,11: | 0
A chiral lead-free tin(Ⅳ)-based halide organic-inorganic semiconductor with dielectric switching and phase transition显示文摘Chiral organic-inorganic metal halide semiconductors(OIMHSs)have recently attracted numerous interests due to their unique chirality, structural tunability, and extensive physical properties. However, most reported chiral OIMHSs contain toxic lead, which will be a potential obstacle to their further applications.Herein,we successfully synthesized a novel chiral lead-free tin(IV)-based OIMHS[(R)-3-hydroxyquinuclidinium]_(2)SnCl_(6)([R-HQ]_(2)SnCl_(6)).It exhibits a wide band gap(Eg)of about 4.11 eV.Moreover,[R-HQ]_(2)SnCl6 undergoes a phase transition around 330 K(Tc)and shows distinct dielectric switching characteristics with good repeatability. This work enriches the chiral lead-free OIMHS family and stimulates further exploration of chiral lead-free OIMHS switching materials. | Hang Peng Qin Liu Yuhua Liu Yanzi Lu Weiqiang Liao | 2023 | Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,8: | 0

How aging affects bone health via the intestinal micro-environment显示文摘Increasing life expectancy and an aging population lead to age-related bone diseases like osteoporosis and low bone mass more prevalent. These conditions represent a common, costly and chronic burden, not only for elderly but also to society at large.Consequently, elucidating the pathophysiology and developing effective therapies for these diseases is of paramount importance.Recent advances in research have identified the gut as a novel and promising target for addressing bone disorders, giving rise to the concept of the“gut-bone axis”.An in-depth review of the latest insights into the effects of age-related physiological changes in the gastrointestinal tract on bone health is presented in this article. It examines how the“gut-bone”axis interacts with bone aging across various domains, including metabolism, nutrition, intestinal permeability, immunity, and oxidative stress. | HUAN HU YUE HUANG FANGZHOU LIU QIAN WANG YANZI YAO | 2024 | BIOCELL2024,48,3: | 0
Relationship and improvement strategies between drug nanocarrier characteristics and hemocompatibility:What can we learn from the literature显示文摘This article discusses the various blood interactions that may occur with various types of nano drug-loading systems. Nanoparticles enter the blood circulation as foreign objects. On the one hand, they may cause a series of inflammatory reactions and immune reactions, resulting in the rapid elimination of immune cells and the reticuloendothelial system, affecting their durability in the blood circulation. On the other hand, the premise of the drug-carrying system to play a therapeutic role depends on whether they cause coagulation and platelet activation, the absence of hemolysis and the elimination of immune cells. For different forms of nano drug-carrying systems, we can find the characteristics, elements and coping strategies of adverse blood reactions that we can find in previous researches. These adverse reactions may include destruction of blood cells, abnormal coagulation system, abnormal effects of plasma proteins, abnormal blood cell behavior, adverse immune and inflammatory reactions, and excessive vascular stimulation. | 12 | A Novel Hollow Carbon@MnO_(2) Electrospun Nanofiber Adsorbent for Efficient Removal of Pb^(2+) in Wastewater显示文摘Lead ion(Pb^(2+))is one of the most hazardous heavy metal ions in aquatic environments.Carbon materials and manganese dioxide(MnO_(2))have been shown to be prospective adsorbents to cope with the lead pollution. In this study,a novel hollow carbon@MnO_(2) composite nanofiber adsorbent was prepared by the combination of electrospinning and carbonization. The PAN nanofiber membrane is subjected to a pre-oxidation and carbonization process, and then the obtained carbon nanofibers react with KMnO4 solution during the hydrothermal process to develop the hollow carbon@MnO_(2) nanofibers. The hollow carbon@MnO_(2) nanofibers displayed a higher adsorption capacity of Pb^(2+)than carbon and MnO_(2)/PDA/PAN nanofibers. The maximum adsorption capacity toward Pb^(2+)by hollow carbon@MnO_(2) nanofibers was 460.83 mg/g.After 5 adsorption-desorption cycles, the carbon@MnO_(2) nanofibers had a good recyclability and the removal efficiency remained 81.47%.Moreover,the removal efficiency of the hollow composite nanofibers for Pb^(2+)from real wastewater could reach 94.37%.This work shows a strategy for synthetics of the hollow carbon@MnO_(2) nanofibers, which exhibits a promising potential in actual wastewater treatment. | LI Wenyan LI Yanzi LIU Jiadi CHAO Shen YANG Tianyi LI Lijuan WANG Ce LI Xiang | 2021 | Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2021,37,3: | 0
The protein corona modulates the inflammation inhibition by cationic nanoparticles via cell-free DNA scavenging显示文摘A central paradigm in nanomedicine is that when synthetic nanoparticles(NPs)enter the body, they are immediately cloaked by a corona of macromolecules(mostly proteins)that mediates the role of the physico-chemical properties in the NP biological functions(the“coronation paradigm”).In this work,we focused on the assessment of the“coronation paradigm”for cationic NPs(cNPs)used as rheumatoid arthritis(RA)drugs due to their ability to scavenge cell-free DNA(cfDNA).We fabricated series of cNPs uniformly coated with single or di-hydroxyl groups and different types of amino groups and showed that hydroxylated nanoparticles displayed a prolonged retention in inflamed joints and greater anti-inflammatory effect in collagen-induced arthritis(CIA)rats than the non-hydroxylated analogues.Especially, the cNPs with secondary amines and a di-hydroxyl shell showed the best performance among the tested cNPs.Proteomic analysis showed that the cNPs with a di-hydroxyl shell adsorbed less opsonin proteins than the cNPs carrying mono hydroxyl groups and non-hydroxylated ones, which may provide a mechanistic explanation for the different biodistribution profiles of cNPs.Thus, this study suggests that the protein corona mediates the effects of the surface chemistry on the fate and functions of cNPs as anti-RA drugs. | Xingliang Liu Huiyi Liang Yanzi Yan Jingjiao Wu Massimo Bottini Lixin Liu Yongming Chen | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,7: | 0
