| 2 | Metformin activates chaperone-mediated autophagy and improves disease pathologies in an Alzheimer disease mouse model显示文摘Chaperone-mediated autophagy(CMA)is a lysosome-dependent selective degradation pathway implicated in the pathogenesis of cancer and neurodegenerative diseases.However,the mechanisms that regulate CMA are not fully understood.Here,using unbiased drug screening approaches,we discover Metformin,a drug that is commonly the first medication prescribed for type 2 diabetes,can induce CMA.We delineate the mechanism of CMA induction by Metformin to be via activation of TAK1-IKKα/β signaling that leads to phosphorylation of Ser85 of the key mediator of CMA,Hsc70,and its activation.Notably,we find that amyloid-beta precursor protein(APP)is a CMA substrate and that it binds to Hsc70 in an IKKα/β-dependent manner.The inhibition of CMA-mediated degradation of APP enhances its cytotoxicity.Importantly,we find that in the APP/PS1 mouse model of Alzheimer's disease(AD),activation of CMA by Hsc70 overexpression or Metformin potently reduces the accumulated brain Aβplaque levels and reverses the molecular and behavioral AD phenotypes.Our study elucidates a novel mechanism of CMA regulation via Metformin-TAK1-IKKα/β-Hsc70 signaling and suggests Metformin as a new activator of CMA for diseases,such as AD,where such therapeutic intervention could be beneficial. | Xiaoyan Xu Yaqin Sun Xufeng Cen Bing Shan Qingwei Zhao Tingxue Xie Zhe Wang Tingjun Hou Yu Xue Mengmeng Zhang Di Peng Qiming Sun Cong Yi Ayaz Najafov Hongguang Xia | 2021 | Protein & Cell2021,12,10: | 5 |
| 3 | Extraction and purification of the polysaccharides in Hippohaere rhamnoides L.显示文摘The different extraction technology and purification technology of Hippohpae rhamoides polysaccharides were researched in the paper.The best method of papain extraction were obtained,the ratio of papain 2%,pH at 5.5,temperature at 45℃and extraction time of 20 min were suitable for papain extraction.The highest content of Hippohpae rhamoides polysaccharides was 44.28 mg·g^(-1). The optimum process of ultrasonic extraction were obtained,namely extracted for 55 min at 480 W with the material ratio of 1:20. The highest content of Hippohpae rhamoides polysaccharides was 48.63 mg·g^(-1).The results showed that the ultrasonic and papain extraction together was the best method,the content was 54.30 mg·g^(-1).After the removing protein,pigment and dialysis.Two fraction were separated from the purified Hippohpae rhamoides by DEAE-cellulose chromatography,the main fraction was collected finally. | 4 | 胎儿期恰逢1959~1961年饥荒的中国成人精神分裂症的发病率显示文摘背景:精神分裂症是一种常见的中度精神障碍。子宫内营养缺乏可增大患精神分裂症的危险。其主要依据来自1944~1945年荷兰饥饿冬天(Dutch Hunger Winter)研究,当时食品摄入在短期内极剧下降。这项有关饥荒期间受孕人群的大型队列研究显示,发生精神分裂症的危险增大两倍。
目的:确定经受1959~1961年大饥荒的中国人是否有相似的结果。
设计、地点及参试者:发生精神分裂症危险的调查于安徽省芜湖地区进行,这是当初受灾最重的地区之一。对饥荒之前、饥荒期间和饥荒以后出生的人群发病率进行比较。芜湖及其周围6个县是由一所精神病院负责的。对1971~2001年所有的精神病病历记录均进行检查。精神分裂症患者的临床和社会人口学资料由对自然灾害暴露情况不知情的研究者摘录。有关饥荒年出生人数和死亡人数的数据是有效可用的,累积死亡率根据以后的人口学调查进行估计。
主要观测指标:饥荒的证据已经核实,计算未校正的以及对死亡率进行校正后的发生精神分裂症的相对危险度。
结果:安徽省的出生率(每1000人)在饥荒期问降低了约80%,从1958年的28.28降至1959年的20.97、1960年的8.61和1961年的11.06。在饥荒期间出生的人,晚年发生精神分裂症的校正后危险明显增高,从1959年的0.84%增至1960年的2.15%和1961年的1.81%。死亡率校正相对危险在1960年出生者为2.30(95%可信区间,1.99~2.05),1961年出生者为1.93(95%可信区间,1.68~2.23)。

| 5 | The flexural property and its synergistic mechanism of multibody molded beetle elytron plates显示文摘To improve the applications of beetle elytron plates(BEPs,which are biomimetic sandwich plates inspired by beetle elytra),the flexural performance and its synergistic mechanism of multibody molded BEPs were investigated via cantilever testing and finite element method(FEM).The results are summarized as follows.(1)Although debonding damage causes failure of the multibody molded BEPs and honeycomb plate and the reasonable range of trabecular size for BEPs is narrow,both the optimal loading capacity per mass and failure deformation of the BEPs are over two times those of the honeycomb plate.(2)A flexural synergistic mechanism is revealed in the trabecular-honeycomb core structure of BEPs;this mechanism causes the maximum deformation of core structure to gradually transfer from the honeycomb wall to the trabeculae with the increase inη(the ratio of the trabecular radius to the distance between the center points of two trabeculae),which means the different stretching behaviors in these core structures.(3)Unlike the compressive mechanism of BEPs,by controlling and balancing the deformation degrees of the trabeculae and honeycomb walls,the flexural mechanism achieves a minimum core deformation and an optimal flexural performance.These results suggest a qualitative relationship between the deformation behavior of trabecular-honeycomb core structure and bending performance of the whole BEP,and provide a solid foundation for subsequent research and the considerable application potential of this biomimetic sandwich structure in many fields. | YU XinDi ZHANG XiaoMing CHEN JinXiang ZHAO CaiQi ZHAO TiDong FU YaQin | 2020 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2020,63,5: | 2 |

| 7 | Architecture,Key Technologies and Applications of Load Dispatching in China Power Grid显示文摘With the development of renewable energy and the changes in the characteristics of power grid,it is becoming increasingly difficult to balance power supply and demand in space and time.In addition,the requirement for improved dispatching capability of power grid is increasing.Therefore,the potential of flexible load dispatching should be realized,which can promote the large-scale consumption of renewable energy and the construction of new power grid.Based on the analysis of existing load dispatching studies and the differences in the characteristics of domestic and foreign load dispatchings,a technical architecture and several key technologies are proposed for load resources to participate in power grid dispatching under the new situation,i.e.,the autonomous collaborative control system of load dispatching.This system implements the multi-layer coordinated control of main,distribution and micro grids(load aggregators).Adjustable load resources are aggregated through an aggregator operation platform and connected with a dispatcher load regulator platform to realize real-time data interaction with dispatching agencies as well as the monitoring,con-trol,and marketing of aggregators.It supports the load resources to participate in network-wide dispatching optimization via continuous power adjustment.Several key technologies such as the control mode,load modeling,dispatching strategy,and safety protection are also elaborated.Through the closed-loop control of orderly charging piles and energy storage clusters in the North China Power Grid,the feasibility of the proposed architecture and key technologies is verified.This route has successively supported multiple adjustable load aggregators to partici-pate in the ancillary services market of North China Power Grid for peak-shaving.Finally,the technical challenges of load resources participating in power grid dispatching under the dual carbon goals are discussed and prospected. | Yu Dong Xin Shan Yaqin Yan Xiwu Leng Yi Wang | 2022 | Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2022,10,2: | 2 |

| 12 | Preparation,model construction and efficacy lipid-lowering evaluation of kiwifruit juice fermented by probiotics显示文摘In this study,kiwi juice was fermented with acid-resistant and bile-resistant probiotics to screen out lactic acid bacteria that can lower cholesterol and were suitable for kiwi fermentation.A non-linear fitting equation was used to establish a kinetic model of probiotics fermenting kiwi juice(R^(2)>0.90),and then a fermented juice with special effects of lowering fat was prepared.We have studied the lipid-lowering effect of fermented fruit juice through in vivo validation experiments in mice,and determined the lipid-lowering effect of fermented fruit juice according to the mouse serum indicators and the distribution of intestinal flora.The results suggested that the juice fermented with Bifidobacterium bifidum 6169 and Lactobacillus plantarum 21805 were more effective in cholesterol degradation,and the cholesterol degradation rates were 67.57%and 64.22%,respectively.The number of viable bacteria after fermentation was significantly higher than other groups(p<0.05),and the sensory score was also higher.In addition,the serum indicators were significantly ameliorated and the number of beneficial microorganisms in the intestinal flora increased after the high-fat mice were treated with fermented kiwifruit juice.The research indicates that the fermented products have a regulatory effect on cholesterol levels in mice with hyperlipidemia. | Yu Wang Hongcai Li Yichen Ren Yaqin Wang Ren Yaopeng Wang Xiaowei Yue Tianli Wang Zhouli Gao Zhenpeng | 2022 | Food Bioscience2022,47,3: | 1 |

| 16 | Optical frequency synthesizer referenced to an ytterbium optical clock显示文摘Optical clocks with an unprecedented accuracy of 10-18 promise innovations in precision spectroscopy and measurement. To harness the full power of optical clocks, we need optical frequency synthesizers(OFSs) to accurately convert the stabilities and accuracies of optical clocks to other desired frequencies. This work demonstrates such an OFS referenced to an ytterbium optical clock. The OFS is based on an optical frequency comb phase-locked to a commercial rubidium microwave clock;in this way most combs can operate robustly. Despite comb frequency instability at 10^(-11), the synthesis noise and uncertainty reach 6 × 10^(-18)(1 s) and 5 × 10^(-21), respectively, facilitating frequency synthesis of the best optical clocks. | 18 | Spatial pattern of macrobenthic communities along a shelf-slope-basin transect across the Bering Sea显示文摘Due to its unique geological location, the Bering Sea is an ideal place to investigate the water exchange and ecosystem connectivity of the Pacific Ocean–Arctic Ocean and subarctic–Arctic region. Based on a number of summer surveys(July to September, 2010, 2012 and 2014), macrobenthic communities and their spatial-temporal patterns are exhibited for the majority of the Bering Sea(53°59′–64°36′N). The results show that the macrobenthic communities were dominated by northern cold-water species and immigrant eurythermic species, and the communities assumed a dispersed and patchy distribution pattern. Polychaetes(Scoloplos armiger), crustaceans(Ceradocus capensis) and sea urchins(Echinarachnius parma) were the main dominant groups in the shallow shelves; the sea star(Ctenodiscus crispatus) and the brittle star(Ophiura sarsii) were the main dominant groups in the continental slope; whereas small polychaetes(Prionospio malmgreni) dominated the basin area. Sediment type, water depth, and currents were the major factors affecting the structure and spatial distribution of the macrobenthic communities. Compared with other seas, the shallow areas of the Bering Sea showed an extremely high-standing biomass. In particular, the northern shelf area(north of St. Lawrence Islands and west of 170°W),which is primarily controlled by Anadyr Water, is an undersea oasis. In contrast, a deficiency in the downward transport of particulate organic carbon has resulted in a desert-like seabed in the basin area. By comparing our results to previous studies, we found that macrobenthic communities of the Bering Sea have undergone significant structural changes in recent decades, resulting in a decrease in abundance and an increase in biomass.In addition, populations of amphipods and bivalves in the northern shelves have decreased significantly and have been gradually replaced by other species.
