| 1 | Deformation mechanism of roadways in deep soft rock at Hegang Xing’an Coal Mine显示文摘Engineering geomechanics characteristics of roadways in deep soft rock at Hegang Xing'an Coal Mine were studied and the nature of clay minerals of roadway surrounding rock was analyzed. This paper is to solve the technical problems of high stress and the difficulty in supporting the coal mine, and provide a rule for the support design. Results show that mechanical deformation mechanisms of deep soft rock roadway at Xing'an Coal Mine is of ⅠABⅡABCⅢABCD type, consisting of molecular water absorption (the ⅠAB -type), the tectonic stress type + gravity deformation type + hydraulic type (the ⅡABC -type), and the ⅢABCD -type with fault, weak intercalation and bedding formation. According to the compound mechanical deformation mechanisms, the corresponding mechanical control measures and conversion technologies were proposed, and these technologies have been successfully applied in roadway supporting practice in deep soft rock at Xing'an Coal Mine with good effect. Xing'an Coal Mine has the deepest burial depth in China, with its overburden ranging from Mesozoic Jurassic coal-forming to now. | 2 | Expanded endoscopic therapy criteria should be cautiously used in intramucosal gastric cancer显示文摘Objective: Accurate estimation of lymph node metastasis(LNM) in intramucosal gastric cancer is essential to select less invasive treatment options and even avoid surgery. The aim of this study was to evaluate combined clinicopathological features to predict the presence of LNM.Methods: A retrospective review of data from 386 intramucosal gastric cancer patients who underwent gastrectomy with extended lymphadenectomy from 2003 to 2010 was conducted. The mutual relation between clinicopathological characteristics and LNM was analyzed.Results: LNM was detected in 40(10.4%) of the 386 patients. Histological type and vascular or lymphatic invasion presence showed a positive correlation with LNM occurrence by univariate analysis. Multivariate analysis revealed that histological type was the only factor associated with LNM. Combined clinicopathologic characteristics would be more predictable for LNM. We found no LNM when we used combined clinicopathological characteristics conforming to Japanese absolute indications for endoscopic therapy. The LNM rate was as high as 8.7% when Japanese expanded criteria were used. Univariate analysis in cancer conformity to expand endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD) indication also revealed that the undifferential type was the only significant factor for LNM.Conclusions: It was possible to predict intramucosal gastric cancer cases without LNM using combined clinicopathological characteristic analysis. | 3 | Base-free aerobic oxidation of glycerol on TiO_2-supported bimetallic Au–Pt catalysts显示文摘The aerobic oxidation of glycerol provides an economically viable route to glyceraldehyde, dihydroxyacetone and glyceric acid with versatile applications, for which monometallic Pt, Au and Pd and bimetallic Au–Pt, Au–Pd and Pt–Pd catalysts on Ti O2 were examined under base-free conditions. Pt exhibited a superior activity relative to Pd, and Au–Pd and Pt–Pd while Au was essentially inactive. The presence of Au on the Au–Pt/Ti O2 catalysts led to their higher activities(normalized per Pt atom) in a wide range of Au/Pt atomic ratios(i.e.1/3–7/1), and the one with the Au/Pt ratio of 3/1 exhibited the highest activity. Such promoting effect is ascribed to the increased electron density on Pt via the electron transfer from Au to Pt, as characterized by the temperature-programmed desorption of CO and infra-red spectroscopy for CO adsorption. Meanwhile,the presence of Au on Au–Pt/Ti O2, most like due to the observed electron transfer, changed the product selectivity, and facilitated the oxidation of the secondary hydroxyl groups in glycerol, leading to the favorable formation of dihydroxyacetone over glyceraldehyde and glyceric acid that were derived from the oxidation of the primary hydroxyl groups. | 4 | Experimental and measured research on three-dimensional deformation law of gas drainage borehole in coal seam显示文摘Using self-researched gas drainage borehole stability dynamic monitoring device, three-dimensional deformation characteristics of borehole under steady vertical load were researched experimentally and systematically. This research indicated that under the action of steady loading, the mechanical deformation path of the simulated gas drainage borehole is gradually complicated, and the decay of the borehole circumferential strain is an important characterization of the prediction and early warning of borehole instability and collapse. The horizontal position of borehole occurs compressive strain, and the vertical of which occurs tensile strain under the action of vertical stress. At the initial stage of loading, the vertical strain is more sensitive than that in the horizontal direction. After a certain period of time, the horizontal strain is gradually higher than the vertical one, and the intersection of the borehole horizontal diameter and the hole wall is the stress concentration point. | 6 | Effects of methylphenidate on resting-state brain activity in normal adults: an fMRI study显示文摘Methylphenidate (MPH) is one of the most commonly used stimulants for the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Although several studies have evaluated the effects of MPH on human brain activation during specific cognitive tasks using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), few studies have focused on spontaneous brain activity. In the current study, we investigated the effect of MPH on the intra-regional synchronization of spontaneous brain activity during the resting state in 18 normal adult males. A handedness questionnaire and the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale were applied before medication, and a resting-state fMRI scan was obtained 1 h after medication (20 mg MPH or placebo, order counterbalanced between participants). We demonstrated that: (1) there were no significant differences in the performance of behavioral tasks between the MPH and placebo groups; (2) the left middle and superior temporal gyri had stronger MPH-related regional homogeneity (ReHo); and (3) the left lingual gyrus had weaker MPH-related ReHo. Our findings showed that the ReHo in some brain areas changes with MPH compared to placebo in normal adults, even though there are no behavioral differences. | 7 | Pattern of No.12a lymph node metastasis in gastric cancer显示文摘Objective:The current standard D2 lymphadenectomy for gastric cancer(GC)includes dissection of lymph nodes(LNs)along the proper hepatic artery(No.12 a),however,the survival benefit remains controversial.The purpose of this study was to evaluate the pattern of No.12 a LN metastasis(LNM)in GC and explore the indications for No.12 a LN dissection.Methods:Medical records of 413 consecutive GC patients who underwent curative surgery in Zhongshan Hospital,Fudan University between January 2015 and December 2018 were enrolled and reviewed retrospectively.The correlation between No.12 a LNM and clinicopathologic characteristics of patients was analyzed.Results:The overall incidence of No.12 a LNM was 2.67%(11/413).Tumor location(P=0.012),depth of tumor infiltration(P<0.01)and N stage(P=0.018)were significant factors associated with No.12 a LNM.All the tumors with No.12 a LNM involved the lower third of the stomach and were in T3-4 stages.Patients with No.12 a LNM had extensive LNM than those without(20.91±4.25 vs.5.0±0.54,P<0.001).For advanced GC patients(stage III/IV)with tumors involving the lower third of the stomach,the incidence of No.12 a LNM increased to 10.7%(11/103).Patients with No.12 a LNM had a significantly poorer recurrence-free survival(RFS)(P=0.005)and overall survival(OS)(P=0.017).According to the result of multivariable Cox regression,No.12 a LNM was not an independent impact factor on RFS and OS.Conclusions:The overall incidence of No.12 a LNM was low but it was much higher in GC patients who had very advanced tumors involving the lower third of the stomach.No.12 a LN dissection should be considered for these patients to improve the survival outcomes. | Ping Shu Xiangfei Sun Fenglin Liu Yong Fang Kuntang Shen Yihong Sun Jing Qin Xinyu Qin | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2021，33，1： | 3 |
| 8 | An Offloading Scheme Leveraging on Neighboring Node Resources for Edge Computing over Fiber-Wireless (FiWi) Access Networks显示文摘The computation resources at a single node in Edge Computing(EC)are commonly limited,which cannot execute large scale computation tasks.To face the challenge,an Offloading scheme leveraging on NEighboring node Resources(ONER)for EC over Fiber-Wireless(FiWi)access networks is proposed in this paper.In the ONER scheme,the FiWi network connects edge computing nodes with fiber and converges wireless and fiber connections seamlessly,so that it can support the offloading transmission with low delay and wide bandwidth.Based on the ONER scheme supported by FiWi networks,computation tasks can be offloaded to edge computing nodes in a wider range of area without increasing wireless hops(e.g.,just one wireless hop),which achieves low delay.Additionally,an efficient Computation Resource Scheduling(CRS)algorithm based on the ONER scheme is also proposed to make offloading decision.The results show that more offloading requests can be satisfied and the average completion time of computation tasks decreases significantly with the ONER scheme and the CRS algorithm.Therefore,the ONER scheme and the CRS algorithm can schedule computation resources at neighboring edge computing nodes for offloading to meet the challenge of large scale computation tasks. | Wei Chang Yihong Hu Guochu Shou Yaqiong Liu Zhigang Guo | 2019 | China Communications2019，16，11： | 3 |
| 9 | Comparative toxicity study of a novel non-ionic surfactant,vanillin ethoxylates, and nonylphenol ethoxylates in Chinese hamster ovary cells in vitro显示文摘Surfactants such as alkylphenol polyethoxylates(APEOs) and nonylphenol ethoxylates(NPEOs) are commonly used worldwide, but the majority of these compounds, together with their metabolites, have been reported to induce severe biological toxicity. Here, we evaluated for the first time the cytotoxicity,genotoxicity and mitochondrial damage in Chinese hamster ovary(CHO-K1) cells caused by a novel non-ionic surfactant, vanillin ethoxylates(VAEOs), an alternative to APEOs. In parallel, the same in vitro bioassays were conducted on NPEOs along with their metabolic byproducts 4-nonylphenol(4-NP) and vanillin. The results showed that the cytotoxic potency order was NPEOs > 4-NP > VAEOs>vanillin using CCK-8 assays. Also, 4-NP showed potential direct DNA damage in SOS/umu tests, whereas NPEOs, VAEOs and vanillin showed no positive result with and without S9 addition. In addition, none of the test compounds showed obvious genotoxic effects with low olive tail moment value using comet assays. However, all test compounds were shown to cause mitochondrial impairment by increasing mitochondrial mass and decreasing mitochondrial membrane potential in a concentration-dependent manner. And further analysis of reactive oxygen species(ROS) and mitochondrial superoxide(MNSOD)measurement showed that mitochondrial impairment was induced by oxidative stress with intracellular ROS and MNSOD overproduction. It's worth noting that VAEOs and vanillin cause relative lower cytotoxic, genotoxic and mitochondrial damage effects than NPEOs and 4-NP, indicating that VAEOs have the potential to substitute NPEOs as suitable surfactants. | 10 | Transarterial infusion chemotherapy with FOLFOX for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma:a multi-center propensity score matched analysis of real-world practice显示文摘Background:To compare the treatment effectiveness and safety among transarterial infusion chemotherapy(TAI)with FOLFOX regimen,transarterial chemoembolization(TACE),and sorafenib in patients with BCLC stage C hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods:The data of consecutive patients with BCLC stage C HCC treated with TAI,TACE,or sorafenib from January 2015 to December 2018 at three centers were retrospectively analyzed.Propensity-score matched(PSM)analysis was pairwise performed to reduce selection bias.Treatment effectiveness and safety were evaluated and compared using the Kaplan-Meier method,log-rank test,Cox regression models,andχ2 test.Results:The median overall survival(OS)in the matched TAI cohort was significantly longer than the sorafenib cohort(19.6 vs.7.5 months,P=0.009),and the TACE cohort(estimated 27.8 vs.6.6 months,P<0.001).The difference in median progression-free survival(PFS)between the matched TAI and sorafenib cohorts was not significant(5.8 vs.2.3 months,P=0.219).The median PFS in the matched TAI cohort was significantly longer than the TACE cohort(6.5 vs.2.8 months,P<0.001).The objective response rate(ORR)in the matched TAI cohort was significantly higher than the sorafenib cohort(36.4%vs.0.0%,P<0.001)and the TACE cohort(48.7%vs.4.7%,P<0.001).The incidences of adverse events(AEs)were similar among these three cohorts.Conclusions:TAI with FOLFOX regimen was an effective and safe therapy that improved survival of patients with BCLC stage C HCC. | Shaohua Li Jie Mei Qiaoxuan Wang Feng Shi Hongyan Liu Ming Zhao Lianghe Lu Yihong Ling Zhixing Guo Yabing Guo Xiaoming Chen Ming Shi Wan Yee Lau Wei Wei Rongping Guo | 2021 | Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2021，10，5： | 2 |

| 15 | Efficient catalytic removal of COS and H_(2)S over graphitized 2D micro-meso-macroporous carbons endowed with ample nitrogen sites synthesized via mechanochemical carbonization显示文摘Developing a suitable catalyst for the elimination of highly toxic carbonyl sulfide(COS)and hydrogen sulfide(H_(2)S) is of great significance in terms of industrial safety and environmental protection.We demonstrate here the facile synthesis of graphitized 2D micro-meso-macroporous carbons by one-step carbonization of a mixture of urea and glucose at 700–900℃.The as-synthesized graphitized catalysts,designated as 2DNHPC-x(x=urea/glucose mass ratio),are endowed with an ultra-high concentration(12.9–20.2 wt%)of stable and versatile nitrogen sites(e.g.pyrrole and pyridine)which are anchored on the surface via stable covalent bonding.As a result,the 2D-NHPC-x are active in catalytic hydrolysis of COS on pyrrolic N to H_(2)S,and the H_(2)S can be subsequently captured on pyridinic N and converted to elemental sulfur at ambient conditions over the same materials.Among the prepared catalysts,2D-NHPC-x can catalytically hydrolysize 91%of COS to H_(2)S at 30℃,whereas the conversion ratio over the common catalysts g-C_(3)N_(4)and Fe_(2)O_(3)are below 6.0%.Furthermore,these catalysts also exhibit H_(2)S conversion and sulfur selectivity of nearly 100%at 180℃with long-time durability,which is higher than those of the most reported carbonbased catalysts.In contrast,the H_(2)S capacities of activated carbon,ordered mesoporous carbons(OMC)and N-doped OMC are 3.9,1.5 and2.39 mmol g^(-1),respectively.Both the experimental and theoretical results are disclosed that 2D-NHPC-x are superior to the nitrogen-doped porous materials ever applied in simultaneous catalytic elimination of both COS and H_(2)S. | Xun Kan Guanqing Zhang Yingying Luo Fujian Liu Yong Zheng Yihong Xiao Yanning Cao Chak-tong Au Shijing Liang Lilong Jiang | 2022 | Green Energy & Environment2022，7，5： | 1 |
