1Inhibiting Hv1 channel in peripheral sensory neurons attenuates chronic inflammatory pain and opioid side effects显示文摘Both opioids and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDS)produce deleterious side effects and fail to provide sustained relief in patients with chronic inflammatory pain.Peripheral neuroinflammation(PN)is critical for initiation and development of inflammatory pain.A better understanding of molecular mechanisms underlying PN would facilitate the discovery of new analgesic targets and the development of new therapeutics.Emerging evidence suggests that peripheral sensory neurons are not only responders to painful stimuli,but are also actively engaged in inflammation and immunity,whereas the intrinsic regulatory mechanism is poorly understood.Here we report the expression of proton-selective ion channel Hv1 in peripheral sensory neurons in rodents and humans,which was previously shown as selectively expressed in microglia in mammalian central nervous system.Neuronal Hv1 was up-regulated by PN or depolarizing stimulation,which in turn aggravates inflammation and nociception.Inhibiting neuronal Hv1 genetically or by a newly discovered selective inhibitor YHV98-4 reduced intracellular alkalization and ROS production in inflammatory pain,mitigated the imbalance in downstream SHP-1-pAKT signaling,and also diminished pro-inflammatory chemokine release to alleviate nociception and morphine-induced hyperalgesia and tolerance.Thus,our data reveal neuronal Hv1 as a novel target in analgesia strategy and managing opioids-related side effects.Qiansen Zhang Yimin Ren Yiqing Mo Peipei Guo Ping Liao Yuncheng Luo Jie Mu Zhuo Chen Yang Zhang Ya Li Linghui Yang Daqing Liao Jie Fu Juwen Shen Wei Huang Xuewen Xu Yanyan Guo Lianghe Mei Yunxia Zuo Jin Liu Huaiyu Yang Ruotian Jiang 2022Cell Research2022,32,5:3

5Association between sleep duration and incidence of type 2 diabetes in China: the REACTION study显示文摘Backgrounds: Inadequate sleep duration is associated with a higher risk of type 2 diabetes and the relationship is nonlinear. We aim to assess the curve relationship between night sleep duration and the incidence of type 2 diabetes in China.Methods: A cohort of 11,539 participants from the REACTION study without diabetes at baseline (2011) were followed until 2014 for the development of type 2 diabetes. The average number of hours of sleep per night was grouped. Incidence rates and odds ratios (ORs) were calculated for the development of diabetes in each sleep duration category.Results: Compared to people who sleep for 7 to 8 h/night, people with longer sleep duration (≥9 h/night) had a greater risk of type 2 diabetes (OR: 1.27;95% CI: 1.01-1.61), while shorter sleep (<6 h/night) had no significant difference in risk of type 2 diabetes. When the dataset was stratified based on selected covariates, the association between type 2 diabetes and long sleep duration became more evident among individuals <65 years of age, male, body mass index <24 kg/m2 or with hypertension or hyperlipidemia, no interaction effects were observed. Furthermore, compared to people persistently sleeping 7 to 9 h/night, those who persistently slept ≥9 h/night had a higher risk of type 2 diabetes. The optimal sleep duration was 6.3 to 7.5 h/night.Conclusions: Short or long sleep duration was associated with a higher risk of type 2 diabetes. 13TRANSVAGINAL COLOR DOPPLER STUDY OF UTEROPLACENTAL CIRCULATION IN NORMAL EARLY PREGNANCY显示文摘A cross sectional transvaginal color Doppler study of the uteroplacental circulation was performed on 105 pregnant women with normal intrauterine pregnancy. Gestational age was ranged from 4 to 12 weeks. The blood flow velocity waveforms were obtained from four separate parts of the uteroplacental circulation: uterine, arcuate, radial, and spiral arteries. The resistance index (RI) and peak systolic velocity (PSV) were analyzed. The RI significantly decreased and PSV increased with advancing gestation in uterine artery and its branches (P<0 05). The RI gradully decreased from uterine artery through arcuate, radial to spiral arteries (P<0 05). At the same time, the PSV decreased from uterine artery then arcuate to radial artery, but PSV in spiral arteries were higher than that in radial artery (P<0 05). 14Promotion of catalytic activity for methanol electro-oxidation on CoPc-Pt/C co-catalysts显示文摘The catalytic activity for methanol electro-oxidation on CoPc-Pt/C co-catalysts, prepared by impregna-tion method, was studied in details through electrochemical methods. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) result demonstrates that CoPc has higher forward anodic peak current density and jf / jb value (forward anodic peak current density/backward anodic peak current density) than Pt/C. Chronoamperometry (CA) analysis indicates that CoPc-Pt/C exhibits both excellent transient current density and stable current density for methanol electro-oxidation compared with Pt/C. Two main mechanisms related to the pro-motion of catalytic activity are as follows: CoPc-Pt/C has the activity of tolerance to carbonaceous in-termediates, thus inhibiting the self-poisoning of catalysts; CoPc-Pt/C owns prominent intrinsic cata-lytic activity indicated by the apparent activation energy for methanol oxidation on CoPc-Pt/C, which is 18 kJ/mol, less than that on Pt and PtRu catalysts as reported.WU JingJie XU YiMin PAN Mu MA WenTao TANG HaoLin 2009Chinese Science Bulletin2009,54,6:0
15Novel 2D CaCl crystals with metallicity, room-temperature ferromagnetism, heterojunction, piezoelectricity-like property and monovalent calcium ions显示文摘Under ambient conditions,the only known valence state of calcium ions is+2,and the corresponding crystals with calcium ions are insulating and nonferromagnetic.Here,using cryo-electron microscopy,we report direct observation of two-dimensional(2D)CaCl crystals on reduced graphene oxide(rGO)membranes,in which the calcium ions are only monovalent(i.e.+1).Remarkably,metallic rather than insulating properties are displayed by those CaCl crystals.More interestingly,room-temperature ferromagnetism,graphene-CaCl heterojunction,coexistence of piezoelectricity-like property and metallicity,as well as the distinct hydrogen storage and release capability of the CaCl crystals in rGO membranes are experimentally demonstrated.We note that such CaCl crystals are obtained by simply incubating rGO membranes in salt solutions below the saturated concentration,under ambient conditions.Theoretical studies suggest that the formation of those abnormal crystals is attributed to the strong cation-πinteractions of the Ca cations with the aromatic rings in the graphene surfaces.The findings highlight the realistic potential applications of such abnormal CaCl material with unusual electronic properties in designing novel transistors and magnetic devices,hydrogen storage,catalyzers,high-performance conducting electrodes and sensors,with a size down to atomic scale.Lei Zhang Guosheng Shi Bingquan Peng Pengfei Gao Liang Chen Ni Zhong Liuhua Mu Lijuan Zhang Peng Zhang Lu Gou Yimin Zhao Shanshan Liang Jie Jiang Zejun Zhang Hongtao Ren Xiaoling Lei Ruobing Yi Yinwei Qiu Yufeng Zhang Xing Liu Minghong Wu Long Yan Chungang Duan Shengli Zhang Haiping Fang 2021National Science Review2021,8,7:0
