| 1 | Mesoporous silica nanoparticles for drug and gene delivery显示文摘Mesoporous silica nanoparticles(MSNs) are attracting increasing interest for potential biomedical applications. With tailored mesoporous structure, huge surface area and pore volume,selective surface functionality, as well as morphology control, MSNs exhibit high loading capacity for therapeutic agents and controlled release properties if modified with stimuli-responsive groups, polymers or proteins. In this review article, the applications of MSNs in pharmaceutics to improve drug bioavailability, reduce drug toxicity, and deliver with cellular targetability are summarized. | 2 | Quantum proxy signature scheme with public verifiability显示文摘In recent years, with the development of quantum cryptography, quantum signature has also made great achievement. However,the effectiveness of all the quantum signature schemes reported in the literature can only be verified by a designated person.Therefore, its wide applications are limited. For solving this problem, a new quantum proxy signature scheme using EPR quantumentanglement state and unitary transformation to generate proxy signature is presented. Proxy signer announces his public key whenhe generates the final signature. According to the property of unitary transformation and quantum one-way function, everyone canverify whether the signature is effective or not by the public key. So the quantum proxy signature scheme in our paper can be publicverified. | 4 | “Pincer movement”:Reversing cisplatin resistance based on simultaneous glutathione depletion and glutathione S-transferases inhibition by redox-responsive degradable organosilica hybrid nanoparticles显示文摘The therapeutic efficacy of cisplatin has been restricted by drug resistance of cancers.Intracellular glutathione(GSH)detoxification of cisplatin under the catalysis of glutathione S-transferases(GST)plays important roles in the development of cisplatin resistance.Herein,a strategy of“pincer movement”based on simultaneous GSH depletion and GST inhibition is proposed to enhance cisplatin-based chemotherapy.Specifically,a redox-responsive nanomedicine based on disulfide-bridged degradable organosilica hybrid nanoparticles is developed and loaded with cisplatin and ethacrynic acid(EA),a GST inhibitor.Responding to high level of intracellular GSH,the hybrid nanoparticles can be gradually degraded due to the break of disulfide bonds,which further promotes drug release.Meanwhile,the disulfide-mediated GSH depletion and EA-induced GST inhibition cooperatively prevent cellular detoxification of cisplatin and reverse drug resistance.Moreover,the nanomedicine is integrated into microneedles for intralesional drug delivery against cisplatin-resistant melanoma.The in vivo results show that the nanomedicine-loaded microneedles can achieve significant GSH depletion,GST inhibition,and consequent tumor growth suppression.Overall,this research provides a promising strategy for the construction of new-type nanomedicines to overcome cisplatin resistance,which extends the biomedical application of organosilica hybrid nanomaterials and enables more efficient chemotherapy against drug-resistant cancers. | Boyi Niu Yixian Zhou Kaixin Liao Ting Wen Sixian Lao Guilan Quan Xin Pan Chuanbin Wu | 2022 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,4: | 3 |
| 5 | BiVO_(4)/TiO_(2) heterojunction with rich oxygen vacancies for enhanced electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction reaction显示文摘The large-scale production of ammonia mainly depends on the Haber-Bosch process,which will lead to the problems of high energy consumption and carbon dioxide emission.Electrochemical nitrogen fixation is considered to be an environmental friendly and sustainable process,but its efficiency largely depends on the activity and stability of the catalyst.Therefore,it is imperative to develop high-efficient electrocatalysts in the field of nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR).In this paper,we developed a BiVO_(4)/TiO_(2) nanotube(BiVO_(4)/TNT)heterojunction composite with rich oxygen vacancies as an electrocatalytic NRR catalyst.The heterojunction interface and oxygen vacancy of BiVO_(4)/TNT can be the active site of N2 dynamic activation and proton transition.The synergistic effect of TiO_(2) and BiVO_(4) shortens the proton transport path and reduces the over potential of chemical reaction.BiVO_(4)/TNT has high ammonia yield of 8.54µg·h^(−1)·cm^(−2) and high Faraday efficiency of 7.70%in−0.8 V vs.RHE in 0.1 M Na_(2)SO_(4) solution. | Yunliang Liu Peiji Deng Ruqiang Wu Ramadan A.Geioushy Yaxi Li Yixian Liu Fengling Zhou Haitao Li Chenghua Sun | 2021 | Frontiers of physics2021,16,5: | 1 |

| 9 | Dynamic Landscapes of tRNA Transcriptomes and Translatomes in Diverse Mouse Tissues显示文摘Although the function of tRNAs in the translational process is well established,it remains controversial whether tRNA abundance is tightly associated with translational efficiency(TE)in mammals.Moreover,how critically the expression of tRNAs contributes to the establishment of tissue-specific proteomes in mammals has not been well addressed.Here,we measured both tRNA expression using demethylase-tRNA sequencing(DM-tRNA-seq)and TE of mRNAs using ribosome-tagging sequencing(RiboTag-seq)in the brain,heart,and testis of mice.Remarkable variation in the expression of tRNA isodecoders was observed among different tissues.When the statistical effect of isodecoder-grouping on reducing variations is considered through permutating the anticodons,we observed an expected reduction in the variation of anticodon expression across all samples,an unexpected smaller variation of anticodon usage bias,and an unexpected larger variation of tRNA isotype expression at amino acid level.Regardless of whether or not they share the same anticodons,the isodecoders encoding the same amino acids are co-expressed across different tissues.Based on the expression of tRNAs and the TE of mRNAs,we find that the tRNA adaptation index(tAI)and TE are significantly correlated in the same tissues but not between tissues;and tRNA expression and the amino acid composition of translating peptides are positively correlated in the same tissues but not between tissues.We therefore hypothesize that the tissue-specific expression of tRNAs might be due to post-transcriptional mechanisms.This study provides a resource for tRNA and translation studies,as well as novel insights into the dynamics of tRNAs and their roles in translational regulation. | Peng Yu Siting Zhou Yan Gao Yu Liang Wenbing Guo Dan Ohtan Wang Shuaiwen Ding Shuibin Lin Jinkai Wang Yixian Cun | 2023 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2023,21,4: | 1 |
