Full understanding of PPR virus(PPRV)pathobiology and molecular biology is critical for effective control and eradication of the disease. To achieve these goals,establishment of stable reverse genetics systems for PPRV would play a key role. Unfortunately, this powerful technology remains less accessible and poorly documented for PPRV. In this review, we discussed the current status of PPRV reverse genetics as well as the recent innovations and advances in the reverse genetics of other non-segmented negative-sense RNA viruses that could be applicable to PPRV. | 5 | Screening of Potential Biomarkers for Gastric Cancer with Diagnostic Value Using Label-free Global Proteome Analysis显示文摘Gastric cancer(GC)is known as a top malignant type of tumors worldwide.Despite the recent decrease in mortality rates,the prognosis remains poor.Therefore,it is necessary to find novel biomarkers with early diagnostic value for GC.In this study,we present a large-scale proteomic analysis of 30 GC tissues and 30 matched healthy tissues using label-free global proteome profiling.Our results identified 537 differentially expressed proteins,including 280 upregulated and 257 downregulated proteins.The ingenuity pathway analysis(IPA)results indicated that the sirtuin signaling pathway was the most activated pathway in GC tissues whereas oxidative phosphorylation was the most inhibited.Moreover,the most activated molecular function was cellular movement,including tissue invasion by tumor cell lines.Based on IPA results,15 hub proteins were screened.Using the receiver operating characteristic curve,most of hub proteins showed a high diagnostic power in distinguishing between tumors and healthy controls.A four-protein(ATP5B-ATP5O-NDUFB4-NDUFB8)diagnostic signature was built using a random forest model.The area under the curve(AUC)values of this model were 0.996 and 0.886 for the training and testing sets,respectively,suggesting that the four-protein signature has a high diagnostic power.This signature was further tested with independent datasets using plasma enzyme-linked immune sorbent assays,resulting in an AUC value of 0.778 for distinguishing GC tissues from healthy controls,and using immunohistochemical tissue microarray analysis,resulting in an AUC value of 0.805.In conclusion,this study identifies potential biomarkers and improves our understanding of the pathogenesis,providing novel therapeutic targets for GC. | Yongxi Song Jun Wang Jingxu Sun Xiaowan Chen Jinxin Shi Zhonghua Wu Dehao Yu Fei Zhang Zhenning Wang | 2020 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2020,18,6: | 1 |

| 12 | Endogenous chitinase might lead to differences in growth performance and intestinal health of piglets fed different levels of black soldier fly larva meal显示文摘This study aimed to investigate the effects of different levels of black soldier fly(BSF)replacing soybean meal(SBM)in diets on the performance and health condition of piglets.A total of 180 weaned piglets were allocated into 5 treatments:BSF0(corn-soybean meal basal diet),BSF25(BSF replacing 25%SBM),BSF50(BSF replacing 50%SBM),BSF75(BSF replacing 75%SBM)and BSF100(BSF replacing 100%SBM).During the whole period,in comparison with BSF0,average daily gain(ADG)and average daily feed intake increased in the BSF25 and BSF50 groups,whereas ADG decreased in the BSF75 and BSF100groups(P<0.05).The result of quadratic fitting curve showed that piglets exhibited the highest ADG when BSF replaced around 20%SBM.Compared with BSF0,organic matter and dry matter digestibility improved in the BSF25 group,whereas ether extract digestibility decreased in the BSF100 group(P<0.05).In comparison with BSF0,piglets from the BSF25 group showed a higher duodenal ratio of villus height to crypt depth,increased jejunal sucrase activity,serum neuropeptide Y and ghrelin levels,elevated ileal immunoglobulin(Ig)A,Ig G and Ig M contents and a lower leptin level,and piglets from the BSF100 group exhibited an increased relative weight of kidney(P<0.05).However,no significant differences were observed in the expression level of tight junction proteins and chitin-degrading enzyme.Additionally,compared with BSF0,the abundance of short chain fatty acid producing bacteria such as Ruminococcaceae,Faecalibacterium and Butyricicoccus increased,and potential pathogenic bacteria decreased in piglets from the BSF25 group,whereas piglets from the BSF100 group had a greater abundance of harmful bacteria.In conclusion,BSF replacing 25%SBM in diets could improve digestive parameters,immune function and intestinal microbiota,and thus improved growth performance of piglets.However,BSF replacing 100%SBM showed an adverse effect on piglet performance,and the reason might be related to the limited amount of chitin-degrading enzyme. | Sujie Liu Jian Wang Longxian Li Yonggai Duan Xiaolin Zhang Tenghao Wang Jianjun Zang Xiangshu Piao Yongxi Ma Defa Li | 2023 | Animal Nutrition2023,,3: | 0 |

Here, two new fused-ring electron acceptors(CBT-IC and SBT-IC) were designed and developed by short-axis modification based on the dithienyl[1,2-b:4,5-b′]benzodithiophene(BDCPDT) system. Combined with a medium bandgap polymer donor J71, both of the OPV devices exhibit high power conversion efficiency(PCE) over 11%, and ~70% external quantum efficiencies. To better understand how this kind of substitution affects the BDCPDT based acceptors, a comparative analysis is also made with the the plain acceptor BDT-IC without this modification. Sensitive and accurate sensing of abnormal exosomal mi RNA plays essential role for clinical promotion due to its close correlation with tumor proliferation and progression. Herein, a microfluidic surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS) sensor was proposed for an on-line detection of exosomal mi RNA based on rolling circle amplification(RCA) and tyramine signal amplification(TSA) strategy. The microfluidic chip consists of a magnetic enrichment chamber, a serpentine fluidic mixer and a plasmonic SERS substrate functionalized with capture probes. The released mi RNA activates the capture probe, triggers RCA reaction, and generates a large number of single-stranded DNA products to drive the catalysis of nanotags deposition via TSA, producing numerous “hot spots” to enhance the SERS signals. | 17 | The evolution of central environmental protection inspection policy attention in China: An investigation based on inspection reports显示文摘The central environmental protection inspection (CEPI) system in China is a significant institutional innova‐tion in national environmental governance. The CEPI applies a joint supervision strategy to address salient en‐vironmental issues and strictly enforce the environmental responsibilities of local governments. This study col‐lects and organizes CEPI inspection reports covering three stages that encompass the first round, the “look back”, and the second round, applying text analysis to obtain sample data and conduct statistical quantifica‐tion of word frequency in inspection reports and identify notable changes. The study explores the allocation of CEPI attention between policy objectives and the intensity of policy instruments. We determine that in con‐junction with public opinion feedback, the CEPI conducts targeted inspections and focuses more on pollutant governance, which has high severity and can be addressed quickly. The CEPI fills the gap of normalized gover‐nance with a campaign-style governance approach. Regarding the intensity of policy measures, the CEPI pri‐marily uses economic incentive policy instruments, supplemented by command-and-control and public guid‐ance approaches, advancing the sustainability of regulatory effectiveness through economic, social, and politi‐cal activities.
