| 1 | Changes in rice cropping systems in the Poyang Lake Region, China during 2004-2010显示文摘Rice cropping systems not only characterize comprehensive utilization intensity of agricultural resources but also serve as the basis to enhance the provision services of agro-ecosystems.Yet,it is always affected by external factors,like agricultural policies.Since 2004,seven consecutive No.1 Central Documents issued by the Central Government have focused on agricultural development in China.So far,few studies have investigated the ef-fects of these policies on the rice cropping systems.In this study,based upon the long-term field survey information on paddy rice fields,we proposed a method to discriminate the rice cropping systems with Landsat data and quantified the spatial variations of rice cropping systems in the Poyang Lake Region(PLR),China.The results revealed that:(1) from 2004 to 2010,the decrement of paddy rice field was 46.76 km2 due to the land use change.(2) The temporal dynamics of NDVI derived from Landsat historical images could well characterize the temporal development of paddy rice fields.NDVI curves of single cropping rice fields showed one peak,while NDVI curves of double cropping rice fields displayed two peaks an-nually.NDVI of fallow field fluctuated between 0.15 and 0.40.NDVI of the flooded field during the transplanting period was relatively low,about 0.20±0.05,while NDVI during the period of panicle initiation to heading reached the highest level(above 0.80).Then,several temporal windows were determined based upon the NDVI variations of different rice cropping systems.(3) With the spatial pattern of paddy rice field and the NDVI threshold within optimum tem-poral windows,the spatial variation of rice cropping systems was very obvious,with an in-creased multiple cropping index of rice about 20.2% from 2004 to 2010.The result indicates that agricultural policies have greatly enhanced the food provision services in the PLR,China. | LI Peng FENG Zhiming JIANG Luguang LIU Yujie XIAO Xiangming | 2012 | Journal of Geographical Sciences2012,22,4: | 23 |

| 3 | Study on variational aerosol fields over Beijing and its adjoining areas derived from Terra-MODIS and ground sunphotometer observation显示文摘This paper presents a comprehensive observa-tion technique on derived aerosols data from mobile sun-photometer graph and Terra-Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) observation. Research results suggest that after being treated by the variational technique with respect to sunphotometer observations, the Terra- MODIS remote sensing aerosol data are remarkably im-proved, thus for the first time revealing features of the influ-ence of aerosols and pollution emissions of Beijing and its adjoining areas (Hebei, Shandong, etc. provinces). The re-gional impact features of aerosols are related with the pe-ripheral U-shape topography of Beijing. | 4 | Ambient levels of atmospheric carbonyls in Beijing during the 2008 Olympic Games显示文摘The measurements of atmospheric carbonyls concentrations in Beijing were conducted from 12 July to 8 October, 2008, covering the periods of the 2008 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. Six carbonyls, including formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, acetone, butyraldehyde, valeraldehyde, and hexaldehyde, were identified in all air samples. The total average concentrations of these carbonyls before, during, and after traffic restriction were (48.1 ± 15.2), (36.6 ± 14.5) and (23.4 ± 12.3) μg/m3, respectively. Compared with the period after traffic restriction, the distinct high concentrations of the carbonyls before and during traffic restriction were primarily ascribed to the remarkable contribution of photochemical reactions. With respect to our previous investigation in the summer of 2005, the reductions of formaldehyde, acetaldehyde and acetone during traffic restriction period were about 64%, 47% and 27%, respectively, indicating that the air cleaning actions adopted by the Chinese government for the two games were efficient. | 5 | Genome-wide profiling of long noncoding RNA expression patterns and CeRNA analysis in mouse cortical neurons infected with different strains of borna disease virus显示文摘Borna disease virus 1(BoDV-1)is neurotropic prototype of Bornaviruses causing neurological diseases and maintaining persistent infection in brain cells of mammalian species.Long non-coding RNA(lncRNA)is transcript of more than 200 nucleotides without proteincoding function regulating various biological processes as proliferation,apoptosis,cell migration and viral infection.However,regulatory of lncRNAs in BoDV-1 infection remains unknown.To identify differential expression profiles and predict functions of lncRNA in BoDV-1 infection,microarray data showed that 3528 lncRNAs and 2661 lncRNAs were differentially expressed in Strain V and Hu-H1 BoDV-infected groups compared with control groups,respectively.Gene Ontology(GO)and pathway analysis suggested that differential lncRNAs may be involved in regulation of metabolic,biological regulation,cellular process,endocytosis,viral infections and cell adhesion processes,cancer in both BoDV-infected strains.ENSMUST00000128469 was found down-regulated in both BoDV-infected groups compared with control groups consistent with microarray(p<0.05).ceRNA analysis indicated possible interaction networks as ENSMUST00000128469/miR-22-5p,miR-206-3p,miR-302b-5p,miR-302c-3p,miR-1a-3p/Igf1.Igf1 was found up-regulated in both BoDV-infected groups compared with control groups(p<0.05).Possible functions of predicted target mRNAs and miRNAs of ENSMUST00000128469 were involved in cell proliferation,transcriptional misregulation and proteoglycan pathways enriched in cancer.lncRNA may be involved in regulation of Hu-H1 inhibited cell proliferation and promoted apoptosis through NF-kB,JNK/MAPK signaling,BCL2 and CDK6/E2F1 pathways different from Strain V.Possible interaction networks as ENSMUST00000128469/miR-22-5p,miR-206-3p,miR-302b-5p,miR-302c-3p,miR-1a-3p/Igf1 may involve in regulation of cell proliferation,apoptosis,and cancer. | Lin Sun Yujie Guo Peng He Xiaoyan Xu Xiong Zhang Haiyang Wang Tian Tang Wei Zhou Ping Xu Peng Xie | 2019 | Genes & Diseases2019,6,2: | 5 |
| 6 | Is there a survival benefit from adjuvant chemotherapy for patients with liver oligometastases from colorectal cancer after curative resection?显示文摘Background:Although colorectal oligometastases to the liver can potentially be cured with aggressive local abla-tion,the efficacy of adjuvant chemotherapy(ACT)for such metastasis remains unclear.The present study explored the effects of ACT on patients with colorectal liver oligometastases(CLO)after curative resections and aimed to iden-tify patients who could benefit from ACT.Methods:We retrospectively analyzed 264 eligible patients with CLO who underwent curative resection between September 1999 and June 2015.Recurrence-free survival(RFS)and overall survival(OS)were analyzed using the Kaplan-Meier method and log-rank test;prognostic factors were a by Cox regression modeling.Results:Among 264 patients,200(75.8%)patients received ACT and 64(24.2%)did not receive ACT.These two groups did not significantly differ in clinicopathologic characteristics,and had comparable 3-year OS and RFS rates(RFS:42.1%vs.45.7%,P=0.588;OS:69.7%vs.62.7%,P=0.446)over a median follow-up duration of 35.5 months,irrespective of preoperative chemotherapy.ACT markedly improved 3-year OS in high-risk patients with Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center clinical risk scores(MSKCC-CRS)of 3-5(68.2%vs.33.8%,P=0.015),but presented no additional benefit in patients with MSKCC-CRS of 0-2(72.2%vs.78.6%,P=0.834).In multivariate analysis,ACT was independently associated with improved OS in patients with MSKCC-CRS of 3-5.Conclusions:ACT might offer a prognostic benefit in high-risk patients with CLOs after curative liver resection,but not in low-risk patients.Therefore,patients’risk status should be determined before ACT administration to optimize postoperative therapeutic strategies. | Zhizhong Pan Jianhong Peng Junzhong Lin Gong Chen Xiaojun Wu Zhenhai Lu Yuxiang Deng Yujie Zhao Qiaoqi Sui Desen Wan | 2018 | Cancer Communications2018,38,1: | 4 |

| 8 | Oryza sativa FER-LIKE FE DEFICIENCY-INDUCED TRANSCRIPTION FACTOR(OsFIT/OsbHLH156)interacts with OsIRO2 to regulate iron homeostasis显示文摘Iron(Fe)is indispensable for the growth and development of plants.It is well known that FER-LIKE FE DEFICIENCY-INDUCED TRANSCRIPTION FACTOR(FIT)is a key regulator of Fe uptake in Arabidopsis.Here,we identify the Oryza sativa FIT(also known as Osb HLH156)as the interacting partner of IRON-RELATED BHLH TRANSCRIPTION FACTOR 2(OsIRO2)that is critical for regulating Fe uptake.The OsIRO2 protein is localized in the cytoplasm and nucleus,but OsFIT facilitates the accumulation of OsIRO2 in the nucleus.Loss-of-function mutations of OsFIT result in decreased Fe accumulation,severe Fe-deficiency symptoms,and disrupted expression of Feuptake genes.In contrast,OsFIT overexpression promotes Fe accumulation and the expression of Fe-uptake genes.Genetic analyses indicate that OsFIT and OsIRO2 function in the same genetic node.Further analyses suggest that OsFIT and OsIRO2 form a functional transcription activation complex to initiate the expression of Fe-uptake genes.Our findings provide a mechanism understanding of how rice maintains Fe homeostasis. | Gang Liang Huimin Zhang Yang Li Mengna Pu Yujie Yang Chenyang Li Chengkai Lu Peng Xu Diqiu Yu | 2020 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020,62,5: | 4 |

| 14 | The Uniform Distribution of SiC Particles in an A356-SiC_p Composite Produced by the Tilt-blade Mechanical Stirring显示文摘The tilt-blade mechanical stirring of A356-2.5vol.%SiCp liquid was conducted in a cylindrical crucible to solve the problem of nonhomogeneous radial distribution of SiC particles in conventional straight-blade mechanical stirring. The radial distribution of SiC particles in A356 liquid was studied under the conditions of 25° for horizontal tilt angle α of the blade, 200 r/min for rotating speed of stirrer and 10 mm/s for speed of moving up and down of stirrer. The results show that there exists a nonlinear relationship between circumferential tilt angle β of the blade and radial relative deviation d of SiCp content in A356 liquid. When β is smaller than 26°, the d of SiCp content in A356 liquid between the center and the periphery of crucible decreases with increasing β. Conversely, when β is bigger than 26 , d increases with increasing β. Only when β is about 26°, d can be equal to nought i.e. uniform radial distribution of SiC particles can be realized. | 16 | Evolution of microstructures and optical properties of gadolinium oxide with oxygen flow rate and annealing temperature显示文摘In this study, the effects of oxygen flow rate and annealing temperature on Gd_2 O_3 structures and optical properties were systematically analyzed. Gd_2 O_3 films were deposited on both quartz and ZnS substrates by magnetron sputtering and then annealed under vacuum at 700, 800 and 900℃, Restructure and phase transformation from cubic to monoclinic occur at different temperatures depending on the oxygen flow rate. The optical band gap, which is more sensitive to the annealing temperature than oxygen flow rate changes from 5.32 to 5.65 eV. The refractive index is approximately 1.75 at 550 nm and is adjustable by the oxygen flow rate. The transmittance of the ZnS substrate with Gd_2 O_3 film exceeds 80% and reaches82% at the 7.5-9.5 μm range. When ZnS is coated on both sides, the transmittance is increased to approximately 90%.
