Plant food sources and stone tools' function at the site of Shunshanji based on starch grain analysis显示文摘The upper-middle Huai River valley(HRV) is located in the transition zone in the middle of eastern China. Previous studies have shown that the past populations in the upper HRV obtained plant food through gathering and cultivation of both rice and millet during the middle Neolithic. However, for the middle HRV it is not very clear what methods were used by humans to obtain plant food in that time. In this paper, starch grain analysis was carried out on 17 stone tools and 29 cauldron pottery sherds unearthed at Shunshanji(8.5–7.0 kyr BP), which is known as the earliest Neolithic site in the middle HRV excavated so far. Here, ancient starches from Coix lacryma-jobi, Triticeae, Oryza sativa, Trichosanthes kirilowii and one unidentified specie were recovered. This study contributes to the limited knowledge of food strategies as observed in the middle HRV. It demonstrates that both gathering and cultivation of rice took place during the middle-Neolithic. Among the identified species, Coix lacryma-jobi appears to have been the main plant food at Shunshanji. Moreover, it is clear that Oryza sativa was not consumed as much as other plant species according to the occurrence frequency of different starch grains. Starch grains were also found on the used surfaces of grinding stone implements as well as pestles, which means that these stone tools were used for food processing. In addition, axes from Shunshanji may also have been used for food processing as well as wood working because starches were also found on the edge of axes. Information about subsistence strategies and tool use at Shunshanji will also be helpful to understanding the utilization of plants and agricultural development in the middle HRV during the early-middle Neolithic period. | YANG YuZhang LI WeiYa YAO Ling CHENG ZhiJie LUO WuHong ZHANG JuZhong LIN LiuGen GAN HuiYuan YAN Long | 2016 | Science China Earth Sciences2016,59,8: | 9
Impedance Modeling and Stability Analysis of PV Grid-connected Inverter Systems Considering Frequency Coupling显示文摘Impedance analysis is an effective method to analyze the oscillation issue associated with grid-connected photovoltaic systems. However, the existing impedance modeling of a gridconnected photovoltaic inverter usually only considers the effect of a single perturbation frequency, ignoring the coupling frequency response between the internal control loops of a grid-connected inverter, which severely affects the accuracy of the stability analysis.Hence,a method of impedance modeling and stability analysis for grid-connected photovoltaic inverters considering cross-coupling frequency is proposed in this paper.First, the generation mechanism of frequency coupling in gridconnected photovoltaic inverters, and the relationship between the coupling frequency and perturbation frequency are analyzed.Secondly,a sequence impedance model of grid-connected photovoltaic systems considering the coupling frequency is established by using the harmonic linearization method. The impact of DC bus voltage control strategy on frequency coupling characteristics of a grid-connected photovoltaic system is evaluated, and the impact of a coupling frequency term on system stability is quantitatively analyzed. Finally, the advantages of the proposed method are verified by several simulations. The results show that the proposed impedance model can accurately predict the potential resonance points of the system, and the coupling frequency characteristics will become much stronger with smaller DC bus capacitance or larger bandwidth of the DC bus controller. | Shaojian Song Ze Wei Yuzhang Lin Bin Liu Hui Liu | 2020 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2020,6,2: | 8
Dynamic State Estimation for Integrated Electricity-gas Systems Based on Kalman Filter显示文摘In recent years, integrated electricity-gas systems(IEGSs) have attracted widespread attention. The unifiedscheduling and control of the IEGS depends on high-precisionoperating data. To this end, it is necessary to establish anappropriate state estimation (SE) model for IEGS to filter theraw measured data. Considering that power systems and naturalgas systems have different time scales and sampling periods, thispaper proposes a dynamic state estimation (DSE) method basedon a Kalman filter that can consider the dynamic characteristicsof natural gas pipelines. First, the standardized state transitionequations for the gas system are developed by applying the finitedifference method to the partial differential equations (PDEs) ofthe gas system;then the DSE model for IEGS is formulatedbased on a Kalman filter;also, the measurements from theelectricity system and the gas system with different samplingperiods are fused to ensure the observability of DSE by using theinterpolation method. The IEEE 39-bus electricity system and the18-nodes Belgium gas system are integrated as the test systems.Simulation results verify the proposed method’s accuracy andcalculation efficiency. | Yanbo Chen Yuan Yao Yuzhang Lin Xiaonan Yang | 2022 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2022,8,1: | 7
Data-driven Robust State Estimation Through Off-line Learning and On-line Matching显示文摘To overcome the shortcomings of model-driven state estimation methods, this paper proposes a data-driven robust state estimation (DDSE) method through off-line learning and on-line matching. At the off-line learning stage, a linear regression equation is presented by clustering historical data from supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), which provides a guarantee for solving the over-learning problem of the existing DDSE methods;then a novel robust state estimation method that can be transformed into quadratic programming (QP) models is proposed to obtain the mapping relationship between the measurements and the state variables (MRBMS). The proposed QP models can well solve the problem of collinearity in historical data. Furthermore, the off-line learning stage is greatly accelerated from three aspects including reducing historical categories, constructing tree retrieval structure for known topologies, and using sensitivity analysis when solving QP models. At the on-line matching stage, by quickly matching the current snapshot with the historical ones, the corresponding MRBMS can be obtained, and then the estimation values of the state variables can be obtained. Simulations demonstrate that the proposed DDSE method has obvious advantages in terms of suppressing over-learning problems, dealing with collinearity problems, robustness, and computation efficiency. | Yanbo Chen Hao Chen Yang Jiao Jin Ma Yuzhang Lin | 2021 | Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2021,9,4: | 6
A Holistic State Estimation Framework for Active Distribution Network with Battery Energy Storage System显示文摘Battery energy storage systems(BESSs)are expected to play a crucial role in the operation and control of active distribution networks(ADNs).In this paper,a holistic state estimation framework is developed for ADNs with BESSs integrated.A dynamic equivalent model of BESS is developed, and the state transition and measurement equations are derived.Based on the equivalence between the correction stage of the iterated extended Kalman filter(IEKF)and the weighted least squares(WLS)regression,a holistic state estimation framework is proposed to capture the static state variables of ADNs and the dynamic state variables of BESSs,especially the state of charge(SOC).A bad data processing method is also presented. The simulation results show that the proposed holistic state estimation framework improves the accuracy of state estimation as well as the capability of bad data detection for both ADNs and BESSs,providing comprehensive situational awareness for the whole system. | Shaojian Song Huangjiao Wei Yuzhang Lin Cheng Wang Antonio Gómez-Expósito | 2022 | Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2022,10,3: | 1

Efficient control of chronic LCMV infection by a CD4 T cell epitope-based heterologous prime-boost vaccination in a murine model显示文摘CD4^(+)T cells are essential for sustaining CD8^(+)T cell responses during a chronic infection. The adoptive transfer of virus-specific CD4^(+)T cells has been shown to efficiently rescue exhausted CD8^(+)T cells. However, the question of whether endogenous virus-specific CD4^(+)T cell responses can be enhanced by certain vaccination strategies and subsequently reinvigorate exhausted CD8^(+)T cells remains unexplored. In this study,we developed a CD4^(+)T cell epitope-based heterologous prime-boost immunization strategy and examined the efficacy of this strategy using a mouse model of chronic lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus(LCMV)infection. We primed chronically LCMV-infected mice with a Listeria monocytogenes vector that expressed the LCMV glycoprotein-specific I-Ab-restricted CD4^(+)T cell epitope GP61–80(LM-GP61)and subsequently boosted the primed mice with an influenza virus A(PR8 strain)vector that expressed the same CD4^(+)T cell epitope(IAV-GP61).This heterologous prime-boost vaccination strategy elicited strong anti-viral CD4^(+)T cell responses, which further improved both the quantity and quality of the virusspecific CD8^(+)T cells and led to better control of the viral loads. The combination of this strategy and the blockade of the programmed cell death-1(PD-1)inhibitory pathway further enhanced the anti-viral CD8^(+)T cell responses and viral clearance. Thus,a heterologous prime-boost immunization that selectively induces virus-specific CD4^(+)T cell responses in conjunction with blockade of the inhibitory pathway may represent a promising therapeutic approach to treating patients with chronic viral infections. | Ran He Xinxin Yang Cheng Liu Xiangyu Chen Lin Wang Minglu Xiao Jianqiang Ye Yuzhang Wu Lilin Ye | 2018 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2018,15,9: | 1

Screening of HLA-A2 restricted CTL epitopes using molecular simulation显示文摘A new technology has been established to screen CTL epitope by using molecular simulation and mo-lecular dynamics. By using this technology, four peptides of MAGE-2 were screened and further identified by peptide binding assay and cytotoxic assay. Results showed that three candidate peptides had higher affinity to HLA-A2 molecule and were able to pulse CTL activities in vitro in human PBMC. The results indicated that identification of CTL epi-topes with computer assistant could overcome the compli-cated experimental steps, particularly the peptide elution step, and could directly observe peptide-MHC-Ⅰ compound binding pattern and could be used to screen CTL epitopes quickly. | GENG Miao WU Yuzhang LIN Zhihua JIA Zhengcai ZHOU Wei ZOU Liyun | 2003 | Chinese Science Bulletin2003,48,18: | 0
