| 1 | Effect of different concentrations of surfactant on the wettability of coal by molecular dynamics simulation显示文摘Anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate(SDBS)at varying concentrations was selected to investigate the influence on the wettability of Zhaozhuang Coal by molecular dynamics simulation.Six groups of water/surfactant/coal systems with different concentrations were constructed.The influence of surfactant with different concentrations on the wettability of coal was concluded by analyzing various properties from the energetic behaviors to the dynamic characteristics.The results show that the interfacial tension decreases sharply and then rises slowly with the increase of SDBS surfactant concentration,obtaining that surfactants can obviously reduce the interfacial tension.The surfactant molecules could be detected at the water/coal interface through analyzing the system’s relative concentration distribution.In addition,the difference in the wettability of surfactants on coal surfaces is caused by the spatial distribution differences of alkyl chains and the benzene ring of the surfactant molecules.And the negative interaction energy between SDBS and the coal surface indicates that adsorption process is spontaneous.Furthermore,it is of great practical significance for improving the dust reduction effect and reducing the disaster of coal dust by exploring the effects of surfactant molecules on the wettability of coal. | Junqing Meng Feifei Yin Shichao Li Ruquan Zhong Zeyuan Sheng Baisheng Nie | 2019 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2019,29,4: | 20 |

We now report that miR-206 is upregulated in the hippocampal tissue, cerebrospinal fluid, and plasma of embryonic APP/PS1 transgenic mice. The increased miR-206 downregulates the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF). BDNF is neuroprotective against cell death after various insults, but in embryonic and newborn APP/PS1 mice it is decreased. | 3 | Effect of turbulence models on predicting convective heat transfer to hydrocarbon fuel at supercritical pressure显示文摘A variety of turbulence models were used to perform numerical simulations of heat transfer for hydrocarbon fuel flowing upward and downward through uniformly heated vertical pipes at supercritical pressure. Inlet temperatures varied from 373 K to 663 K, with heat flux ranging from 300 k W/m^2 to 550 k W/m^2. Comparative analyses between predicted and experimental results were used to evaluate the ability of turbulence models to respond to variable thermophysical properties of hydrocarbon fuel at supercritical pressure. It was found that the prediction performance of turbulence models is mainly determined by the damping function, which enables them to respond differently to local flow conditions. Although prediction accuracy for experimental results varied from condition to condition, the shear stress transport(SST) and launder and sharma models performed better than all other models used in the study. For very small buoyancy-influenced runs, the thermal-induced acceleration due to variations in density lead to the impairment of heat transfer occurring in the vicinity of pseudo-critical points, and heat transfer was enhanced at higher temperatures through the combined action of four thermophysical properties: density, viscosity, thermal conductivity and specific heat. | 4 | Gentiopicroside targets PAQR3 to activate the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway and ameliorate disordered glucose and lipid metabolism显示文摘The obstruction of post-insulin receptor signaling is the main mechanism of insulin-resistant diabetes.Progestin and adipoQ receptor 3(PAQR3),a key regulator of inflammation and metabolism,can negatively regulate the PI3 K/AKT signaling pathway.Here,we report that gentiopicroside(GPS),the main bioactive secoiridoid glycoside of Gentiana manshurica Kitagawa,decreased lipid synthesis and increased glucose utilization in palmitic acid(PA) treated HepG2 cells.Additionally,GPS improved glycolipid metabolism in streptozotocin(STZ) treated high-fat diet(HFD)-induced diabetic mice.Our findings revealed that GPS promoted the activation of the PI3 K/AKT axis by facilitating DNA-binding protein 2(DDB2)-mediated PAQR3 ubiquitinated degradation.Moreover,results of surface plasmon resonance(SPR),microscale thermophoresis(MST) and thermal shift assay(TSA) indicated that GPS directly binds to PAQR3.Results of molecular docking and cellular thermal shift assay(CETSA) revealed that GPS directly bound to the amino acids of the PAQR3 NH2-terminus including Leu40,Asp42,Glu69,Tyr125 and Ser129,and spatially inhibited the interaction between PAQR3 and the PI3 K catalytic subunit(P110α) to restore the PI3 K/AKT signaling pathway.In summary,our study identified GPS,which inhibits PAQR3 expression and directly targets PAQR3 to restore insulin signaling pathway,as a potential drug candidate for the treatment of diabetes. | Haiming Xiao Xiaohong Sun Zeyuan Lin Yan Yang Meng Zhang Zhanchi Xu Peiqing Liu Zhongqiu Liu Heqing Huang | 2022 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,6: | 7 |

| 7 | First-order perturbation approximation for rock elastic moduli in transversely isotropic media显示文摘Seismic anisotropy is a relatively common seismic wave phenomenon in laminated sedimentary rocks such as shale and it can be used to investigate mechanical properties of such rocks and other geological materials. Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio are the most common mechanical properties determined in various rock engineering practices. Approximate and explicit equations are proposed for determining Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio in anisotropic rocks, in which the symmetry plane and symmetry axis of the anisotropy are derived from the constitutive equation of transversely isotropic rock. These equations are based on the media decomposition principle and seismic wave perturbation theory and their accuracy is tested on two sets of laboratory data. A strong correlation is found for Young's modulus in two principal directions and for Poisson's ratio along the symmetry plane. Further, there is an underprediction of Poisson's ratio along the symmetry axis, although the overall behavior follows the trend of the measured data. Tests on a real dataset show that it is necessary to account for anisotropy when characterizing rock mechanical properties of shale. Based on these linear equations, a constrained weighted least Squares(CWLS) algorithm for target localization is derived. In addition, an iterative technique based on Newton's method is utilized to give a solution. The covariance and bias of the CWLS algorithm is derived using perturbation analysis. | 11 | Extraction and purification of the polysaccharides in Hippohaere rhamnoides L.显示文摘The different extraction technology and purification technology of Hippohpae rhamoides polysaccharides were researched in the paper.The best method of papain extraction were obtained,the ratio of papain 2%,pH at 5.5,temperature at 45℃and extraction time of 20 min were suitable for papain extraction.The highest content of Hippohpae rhamoides polysaccharides was 44.28 mg·g^(-1). The optimum process of ultrasonic extraction were obtained,namely extracted for 55 min at 480 W with the material ratio of 1:20. The highest content of Hippohpae rhamoides polysaccharides was 48.63 mg·g^(-1).The results showed that the ultrasonic and papain extraction together was the best method,the content was 54.30 mg·g^(-1).After the removing protein,pigment and dialysis.Two fraction were separated from the purified Hippohpae rhamoides by DEAE-cellulose chromatography,the main fraction was collected finally. | 12 | Isolation of a novel characterized Issatchenkia terricola from red raspberry fruits on the degradation of citric acid and enrichment of flavonoid and volatile profiles in fermented red raspberry juice显示文摘High content of citric acid in red raspberry juice leads to poor sensory experience. This study developed a feasible method to degrade citric acid in red raspberry juice using a novel characterized Issatchenkia terricola WJL-G4 isolated from red raspberry fruits. I. terricola WJL-G4 exhibited a potent capability of reducing the citric acid contents from(22.8 ± 0.08) g/L to(6.2 ± 0.02) g/L within 36 h fermentation, then completely depleted after 48 h. Furthermore, the contents of phenolic compound, including neochlorogenic acid, p-coumaric acid, raspberry ketone, and rutin significantly increased after 36 h fermentation. Fermentation increased total flavonoid contents in red raspberry juice, compared to that in control group. Volatile profiles exhibited to be enriched after fermentation, which contributed to the improvement of the juice taste. | 13 | Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi differ in affecting the flowering of a host plant under two soil phosphorus conditions显示文摘Aims Studies have showed that arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)can greatly promote the growth of host plants,but how AMF affect flow-ering phenology of host plants is not well known.Here,we con-ducted a pot experiment to test whether life cycle and flowering phenology traits of host plant Medicago truncatula Gaertn can be altered by AMF under low and high soil phosphorus(P)levels.Methods the experiment was conducted in a greenhouse at Zhejiang University in China(120°19′E,30°26′N)and had a completely ran-domized design with two factors:AMF treatments and soil P levels.Six AMF species(Acaulospora scrobiculata,As;Gigaspora marga-rita,Gma;Funneliformis geosporum,Fg;Rhizophagus intraradices,Ri;Funneliformis mosseae,Fmo and Glomus tortuosum,Gt.)were used,and two soil P levels(24.0 and 5.7 mg kg−1 Olsen-soluble P)were designed.the six AMF species were separately inoculated or in a mixture(Mix),and a non-AMF control(NAMF)was included.When plants began to flower,the number of flowers in each pot was recorded daily.During fruit ripening,the number of mature fruits was also recorded daily.After~4 months,the biomass,bio-mass P content and AMF colonization of host plant were measured.Correlation between root colonization and first flowering time,or P content and first flowering time was analyzed.Important Findings Under the low P level,first flowering time negatively correlated with root colonization and biomass P.Only host plants with AMF spe-cies As,Fg,Ri,or Mix were able to complete their life cycle within 112 days after sowing.And treatment with AMF species Fg,Gt,or As resulted in two periods of rapid flower production while other fungi treatments resulted in only one within 112 days after sowing.the cumulative number of flowers produced and biomass P content were highest with species Fg.Host biomass allocation significantly differed depending on the species of AMF.Under both soil P levels,the host plant tended to allocate more biomass to fruits in the Mix treatment than in the other treatments.these results indicated that the effects of AMF on host flowering phenology and biomass allocation differed depending on AMF species and soil P levels. | Shijun Liu Hanling Guo Jing Xu Zeyuan Song Shurui Song Jianjun Tang Xin Chen | 2018 | Journal of Plant Ecology2018,11,4: | 3 |

| 15 | Inversion of the three-dimensional temperature structure of mesoscale eddies in the Northwest Pacific based on deep learning显示文摘Mesoscale eddies,which are mainly caused by baroclinic effects in the ocean,are common oceanic phenomena in the Northwest Pacific Ocean and play very important roles in ocean circulation,ocean dynamics and material energy transport.The temperature structure of mesoscale eddies will lead to variations in oceanic baroclinity,which can be reflected in the sea level anomaly(SLA).Deep learning can automatically extract different features of data at multiple levels without human intervention,and find the hidden relations of data.Therefore,combining satellite SLA data with deep learning is a good way to invert the temperature structure inside eddies.This paper proposes a deep learning algorithm,eddy convolution neural network(ECN),which can train the relationship between mesoscale eddy temperature anomalies and sea level anomalies(SLAs),relying on the powerful feature extraction and learning abilities of convolutional neural networks.After obtaining the temperature structure model through ECN,according to climatic temperature data,the temperature structure of mesoscale eddies in the Northwest Pacific is retrieved with a spatial resolution of 0.25°at depths of 0–1000 m.The overall accuracy of the ECN temperature structure is verified using Argo profiles at the locations of cyclonic and anticyclonic eddies during 2015–2016.Taking 10%error as the acceptable threshold of accuracy,89.64%and 87.25%of the cyclonic and anticyclonic eddy temperature structures obtained by ECN met the threshold,respectively. | Fangjie Yu Zeyuan Wang Shuai Liu Ge Chen | 2021 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2021,40,10: | 2 |
| 16 | On the loss mechanisms of radiation belt electron dropouts during the 12 September 2014 geomagnetic storm显示文摘Radiation belt electron dropouts indicate electron flux decay to the background level during geomagnetic storms,which is commonly attributed to the effects of wave-induced pitch angle scattering and magnetopause shadowing.To investigate the loss mechanisms of radiation belt electron dropouts triggered by a solar wind dynamic pressure pulse event on 12 September 2014,we comprehensively analyzed the particle and wave measurements from Van Allen Probes.The dropout event was divided into three periods:before the storm,the initial phase of the storm,and the main phase of the storm.The electron pitch angle distributions(PADs)and electron flux dropouts during the initial and main phases of this storm were investigated,and the evolution of the radial profile of electron phase space density(PSD)and the(μ,K)dependence of electron PSD dropouts(whereμ,K,and L^*are the three adiabatic invariants)were analyzed.The energy-independent decay of electrons at L>4.5 was accompanied by butterfly PADs,suggesting that the magnetopause shadowing process may be the major loss mechanism during the initial phase of the storm at L>4.5.The features of electron dropouts and 90°-peaked PADs were observed only for>1 MeV electrons at L<4,indicating that the wave-induced scattering effect may dominate the electron loss processes at the lower L-shell during the main phase of the storm.Evaluations of the(μ,K)dependence of electron PSD drops and calculations of the minimum electron resonant energies of H+-band electromagnetic ion cyclotron(EMIC)waves support the scenario that the observed PSD drop peaks around L^*=3.9 may be caused mainly by the scattering of EMIC waves,whereas the drop peaks around L^*=4.6 may result from a combination of EMIC wave scattering and outward radial diffusion. | Xin Ma Zheng Xiang BinBin Ni Song Fu Xing Cao Man Hua DeYu Guo YingJie Guo XuDong Gu ZeYuan Liu Qi Zhu | 2020 | Earth and Planetary Physics2020,4,6: | 2 |
| 17 | Effects of GA3 and ABA on the respiratory pathways during the secondary bud burst in black currants显示文摘The effects of exogenous gibberellic acid(GA_3)and abscisic acid(ABA) on the total respiratory rate, percentages of total respiratory rate contributed by respiratory pathways [Embden-Meyerhof-Parnas Pathway(EMP),Pentose Phosphate Pathway(PPP), and Tricarboxylic Acid Cycle(TCA)], and conversion of starch to soluble sugars in the buds of black currants during secondary bud burst were investigated to determine the relationship between respiratory rates and secondary bud burst. ‘Adelinia', a black currant cultivar that is prone to secondary bud burst after the first harvest, was used in this study. Mature bushes of Adelinia were sprayed with 30 mg/L GA_3 and 50 mg/L ABA to manipulate bud burst. The results showed that exogenous applications of GA_3 and ABA had opposite effects on bud respiratory rate. Generally, GA_3 treatment increased the total respiratory rate and respiratory rate of the TCA and PPP, and the respiratory rates after GA_3 treatment were higher than those of control. While ABA treatment mostly decreased the total respiratory rate and the respiratory rate of TCA and PPP in buds in comparison to control. In terms of the percentage of the three respiratory rates in comparison to the total respiratory rate, GA_3 treatment significantly increased the percentage of TCA and PPP respiratory rate in comparison to the control(P \ 0.01), whereas ABA decreased the rates. GA_3 significantly increased the content of soluble sugars and decreased the starch content, while the starch content in buds after ABA treatment was significantly higher than that of the control. All results showed that PPP is a critical process for the second bud burst in black currants. While the EMP–TCA pathway is still dominant in bud respiration,provides a series of basic materials and energy(ATP). The conversion of starch to soluble sugars is essential for bud burst. It is plausible that the entire macromolecular scaffold is involved in catalysis via cooperative motions that result in incredible catalytic efficiency. Moreover, some enzymes can very strongly bind the transition state with an association constant of up to 1024 M-1, suggesting that covalent bond formation is a possible process during the conversion of the transition state in enzyme catalysis, in addition to the concatenation of noncovalent interactions. Supramolecular chemistry provides fundamental knowledge about the relationships between the dynamic structures and functions of organized molecules. By tak-ing advantage of supramolecular concepts, numerous supramolecular enzyme mimics with complex and hierarchical structures have been designed and investigated. Through the study of supramolecular enzyme models, a great deal of information to aid our understanding of the mechanism of catalysis by natural enzymes has been acquired.
